Such a fun experience - Chris was a great guide and made the whole experience fun, adventurous, and relaxing. Saw so many turtles and fish which was absolutely amazing! definitely would do this again and will be recommending to anyone heading to maui!

Best experience in Maui. I just learned swimming and getting into open water was the biggest fear. Chris our guide, helped me to complete this experience. I totally owe this one to him. I honestly understand having swimming experience is better-as I made things difficult for him but he helped me. So I am glad that i chose this tour. Kayaking is always fun. This is our second time!! OVERALL, MOST RECOMMENDED.

Chris was a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable, welcoming, super friendly, and confidently prioritized safety. He went out of his way to make my mom & I feel comfortable. And he took INCREDIBLE photos. We got to see a pod of dolphins which was an unexpected bonus!

We had a great time with Chris. The day was perfectly sunny and we got lucky with the weather, given the hurricane just passed and the water was murky for a few days after. We saw several turtles and Chris got some shots of me swimming with a couple of them. Support small business owners!

The experience was fantastic and Chris was great from start to finish. The pace of the Kayaking was also steady, making it doable for anyone with even a moderate level of fitness. We timed arriving to the snorkel area perfectly too, as for a small amount of time, there were only the seven of us on the tour in the area and my wife and I spent a good five minutes, swimming with a turtle on our own, which was amazing! This was a highlight of our trip, I would highly recommend.

My wife and I did the Turtle Town snorkel tour. We had a great time and Chris is an outstanding guide. Chris is very knowledgeable and thorough in his safety briefings covering kayaking and snorkeling. Chris is always very safety conscious and checks in regularly to see how everyone in the group is doing. We were fortunate to see several turtles up close which was truly amazing. Chris is a very personable guy which made the tour all the more fun. The free photos is also a great bonus to keep the memory of the great tour alive. I highly recommend taking a tour with Chris. We are looking forward to booking a whale watching tour with Chris when we come back in the winter.

It was an intimate and wonderful experience! A highlight of our trip!!! Went with my husband and my 15 year old girl twins. There was only us and one other family and Chris told me that he usually doesn’t do more than 10 people (5 kayaks). I think having a small group really allowed for a very private experience with our own tour guide telling us about history of Hawaii Hawaiian islands and Maui in particular. As we were kayaking, we could see the ocean floor from our clear kayaks. I wanna say it was only about 20 to 30 feet so it made my one girl who’s uncomfortable with snorkeling very comfortable with the situation. Chris was also very protective of our direction in the water and the water was very calm. Maui is known for its calm waters in the morning. And it was time for snorkeling. Chris helped us out out of the kayak and into the water. He also directed us towards where we would see turtles, he was spot on! Nobody was around us and it was like our own private swim time with the turtles. We saw at least four or five and also fish like Humohumo’s, rainbow and others. And my daughter, who is normally uncomfortable with snorkeling, enjoyed every minute of it. It was about a three hour excursion in total and so worth the experience. Chris was the best guide!

It was an amazing experience, a must-try. Chris, the owner of the business as well as the tour guide, is so attentive, thorough, friendly, funny, and most importantly, verryyy patient especially with kids. He remembered names, gave specific instructions to each participant and took amazing photos for every party!!! Chris made the tour memorable! Another aspect I didn’t know I loved about the trip is that it was a small group so it felt intimate, not commercial like with a big boat tour. This is a sign if you still debate between a big boat and a kayak tour. Highly recommend to try this!!

We had a great morning on and in the water with Chris! He was a patient, knowledgeable and entertaining guide. He definitely made sure everyone was safe and comfortable at all times. The bonus perk on Chris's tour was the photos he took both while we were kayaking and underwater when snorkeling! I highly recommend this tour and would definitely book with Chris again!

We have been to Hawaii several times and have done most of the excursions offered around Big Island and Maui… and this was the best experience so far. Chris was knowledgeable about the location and the culture. He took care of each individual in our group, made sure everyone was ok and comfortable, made sure he found titles and guided us to them, made sure everyone had water sunscreen, etc. Our whole family thought he was the best guide we’ve had on any excursion. Great water, great turtles, great time. I can’t say enough about not just this bay and snorkel experience, but the company and the guide were awesome. Thanks Chris!

My family and I (kids 10-12) did kayak and snorkeling today. The clear kayak was very cool.y husband who was nervous about the trip got a hang of the kayak and really enjoyed paddling. My kids and I unfortunately had motion sickness. So we didn’t stay today. Since we were the only group today, our guide helped us back on to the beach and let us take a break. He then took us out around the reef to snorkel without the kayak. It was super amazing! We saw turtles and swam with so many different kind of fishes. My 10 year old said this was the best day ever!

I thought the kayak snorkeling combination was fantastic. Got to move around, paddle out to the snorkeling locations with a great guide named Chris, and then got a good amount of swimming/snorkeling time. Much more affordable than the $650 for a catamaran for two and honestly, I think a better experience.

We enjoyed our morning out in the water! The clear kayaks added even more views and our pictures were sent to us within a few hours! They were great and it was nice not to worry about taking out my camera! My 11- year-old daughter and I had a blast! It was beautiful and peaceful- we even had a peaceful little rain shower. He supplies your snorkel and fins, dry bag, lock box, water and has a lot of knowledge of the reef and Maui! He is very helpful and patient with teaching the kayaking and snorkeling. My daughter and I are comfortable in water, but he was patient and helpful with those in our group who needed more assistance. Overall, there were 5 kayaks and 10 people who went out in our tour that morning. We saw 5-6 turtles and lots of beautiful fish! Great tour!

The snorkeling was great. Tons of coral. We saw at least 10 different turtles. Chris was very patient, nice, and informative. He made sure to get us some great photos of us while we were snorkeling with the turtles even. The kayaking was more of a little float trip out in the bay and back so no worries if you aren’t big on the kayaking part.

Here’s a polished review you can post: We had the BEST time doing the turtle clear kayak and snorkeling experience! He was super nice, patient, and very helpful with teaching us how to kayak which made everything so much more fun and comfortable. The snorkeling was amazing and easily one of our favorite activities from the entire trip. We even got free photos included which was such a nice bonus! He also gave us a little tour and made the whole experience feel so fun and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Maui!

It was our first time ocean kayaking and snorkeling and our guide Chris was so helpful in getting us feeling confident and ready to go! He also gave us lots of great information about the marine life and surrounding area. The photos at the end were a cherry on top.

Unfortunately it was cancelled due to bad weather but they were great on communication, very pleased with their concern on customer safety, they were quick to offer rescheduling options even though we couldn't make it work because we had to fly out the next day. They were incredibly quick to give us a full refund.

It was fun but the clear kayaks didnt add to the experience and were difficult to control. Couldnt look below while trying to steer and keep from tipping over. Our guide, Maca, was outstanding. Safe and courteous, knew what she was doing, very impressed by her.

We had a fun morning …kayaked to two differt locations in clear kayak. Never snorkeled before. Our guide Macara was very patient and helpful with us. Her knowledge of the area and how to handle the kayaks and snorkel gear was very professional. Made us feel safe and by the end of the trip we felt like pros! Highly recommend.

Seeing the turtles, fish was amazing. Great commentary and info. Sadly no whale or dolphins came to visit us. Some people struggled with getting in/out of kayaks to snorkel.

The experience was great! Macarana sent us a text to make sure we had the locations correct and directions on where to meet. There were 10 people in the group with our family being 4 of those, spread across 5 kayaks and Macarana managed us all really well. The 10 people group was a little challenging with a 9 year old, and a couple people who didn't appear comfortable swimming in the ocean. Macarana handled all these challenges well and kept the group together. The kayaking wasn't too far or too difficult and then allowed for some snorkeling, the snorkel gear, fins, and lifejackets were supplied. In the area of Turtle Town we saw multiple turtles hanging out under rocks. There was an assortment of fish to be seen. There was a slight current but was easy to swim against and get back to the kayaks. Overall it was a great time and definitely worth doing.

So very appreciative of their accommodation of our large family group. Youngest was 7 and oldest was 72 and they were amazingly helpful with everything. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

"Kayak"s were awkward to row. Minimal back support and no foothold. Clear bottom, but only saw reef when rowing -- not one single sea life. Did see 2 turtles, a couple of eels and garfish and a decent variety of other fish. But, we went to Napili beach two days later and spotted 3 turtles swimming and two lazily wandering through a near shore rock formation; more fish species and more of each species, and am octopus. Then throw in a distant view of a few whale blows followed by tail tips. We were offered a chance to buy pictures that Macarena took for $50 each; that went down several times until it got to $50 for all of them and finally to $30 for all. We took the $30 package. Then, the first download link we received was nothing but generic sea pictures, nothing we saw and none of the pictures of us. We eventually did get the link to our pictures.

Guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. We got a chance at seeing some whales from the Kayaks. Overall great experience

We live on Maui and this was my husbandʻs 70th birthday present. So we are both on the older side but we did fine. We havenʻt kayaked in years but the guide gave lessons on the beach. The clear kayaks are a bit harder to steer than a regular kayak but itʻs nice to look through the bottom to see the reef. We were lucky with the weather, almost no wind and the water was very clear. We also had a lucky break that a group of about 5 whales were about 100 yards away so we enjoyed watching them. The snorkeling was fun. FYI if you have booties for snorkeling, put them on before you get in the kayak (haha, I had a little trouble pulling them on). Our guide was great, very safety conscious so we felt comfortable.

Kris was an AMAZING guide. She was so patient and informative, teaching us about the Hawaiian islands, the reef, snorkeling, etc. She did great with the novice people in our group and was so kind with some of the more cautious people that weren’t used to the ocean. She was very observant tracking where we all were, making sure we stayed in safe areas, and keeping an eye on our weaker swimmers. She gave great advice on recommendations for future swimming and snorkeling. We had an amazing time and I would highly recommend her.

We had an amazing time out on the water with Kris and Jay. Kris gave us a great historical overview of Hawaii and Maui specifically as we kayaked around. He helped our kids out by attaching their kayak to his as they needed a little extra help paddling. The clear bottoms are so cool! Snorkeling was magical, and we saw numerous sea turtles as well as other beautiful creatures. Highly recommend! 2 adults and 4 kids ages 6-12.
