Swim With Dolphins & Turtles In West Oahu (Semi-private Tours)

Fantastic trip!!! Allie and Olivia were perfect. We got to swim close to dolphins (and turtles), and got to see many more from the boat. There were mommas with their babies and lots of jumping! Would do it again.

WOW! This tour was absolutely incredible! Brooke and Allie somehow managed to exceed our already high expectations after reading all of their amazing reviews! Both were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the dolphins, marine life, and Hawaii in general. One of the best parts of booking a smaller, semi-private tour was the personal attention. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions, learn about the wildlife, and really connect with our guides. We found dolphins almost immediately and had the unbelievable experience of swimming right alongside them! It was truly breathtaking. We then headed to another spot to snorkel with tons of beautiful tropical fish and some absolutely amazing sea turtles. Words really can’t describe just how special this experience was. It was easily one of the highlights of our Hawaii vacation and something we’ll remember forever. 10 out of 10! If you’re considering this tour, don’t hesitate to book it. Brooke and Alli were awesome guides and they found several pods of dolphins and we were able to be swimming in the water in the wild with the dolphins as they swam by. It was an amazing experience and we highly recommend this tour!

It was a great experience! Staff was kind and entertaining. But we definitely didn’t swim with dolphins as it is not allowed legally. I think the marketing is extremely misleading. We enjoyed ourselves despite that. But please change the language of your marketing! We did get to SEE a ton of dolphins and a handful of turtles. Slide was fun, food was eh (it’s a sad turkey sandwich), and got a small bag of Cheetos. But I appreciated being picked up and it was still a fun day. Pack your own lunch if you don’t want their food!

Crew was amazing!! Captain Shanti and Brooke were the absolute best and we can’t recommend them enough. We got some pretty amazing drops with huge dolphins but regardless of what yall see the crew makes the experience worth it and really puts the effort in. Felt like hanging out with friends

This is a really excellent excursion, probably the highlight of our trip to Hawaii. The crew were knowledge, friendly and keen to give us a great experience. We saw some incredible sights with dolphins, turtles and even a manta ray. This was by quite some way the best boat excursion we’ve ever done, you won’t be disappointed, highly recommended!

An amazing experience! We took the 7:30 am experience. Our 2 crew members were excellent. They helped everyone on board feel comfortable about snorkling in the 9cean with the dolphins. We snorkled several different kinds of dolphins - pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins and spotted dolphins. We also saw a good size white-tipped oceanic shark. The tour included snorkeling at a nearby reef where we were in the water with numerous tropical fish and Green Sea turtles. A white-tipped reef shark appeared also. Truly a memorable experience.

Amazing experience and the best boat tour we’ve had by far! It was great way to culminate our trip before we fly off tomorrow. We saw spinner dolphins just within 5 minutes from leaving the harbour, then got to swim with pods of spotted dolphins an hour thereafter. The trip finished off with snorkelling with turtles and the small group experience is definitely worthwhile ! Both Shanti and Lucas were amazing!

We had Lucas and Captain Stef as our guides. They were absolutely amazing! They made us all feel comfortable and explained every tiny step by step. We saw dolphins almost instantly and got to swim around with the pod 3 times! The reef experience was out of a movie. It was so majestic and magical. They ensured we saw everything we wanted to and more! I highly recommend this experience!

Highly recommend this tour. Great captain and crew. They put us in the middle of a huge group of dolphins 3 different times during our tour. We will us them every time we come to the island.

This was a fantastic experience and I have nothing but positive things to say about the crew, the captain, the boat, the scenery, the time spent on the boat and in the water. The guides were great, we found lots of animals and swam with them. Highly recommend this captain and outfit. It's a small boat which I prefer.

We had theee best time with aloha ocean. Captain Shanti and Koa were very knowledgeable and super kind. We felt safe and enjoyed the whole trip out! My 7 year old daughter came out and we got to see a bunch of pilot whales up close 🥹 it was nothing short of amazing and a moment I’ll remember forever. We will definitely go out again with shanti! We also loved how this is a smaller boat. More personal and much better! The boat was extremely nice and clean and we could relax and just enjoy being out there. Can’t wait for the next dive! This was so worth it. Wanted to support a small business so we did the drive and had the best time. Semi-private tour with Koa and Stefan made this an unforgettable experience. I wish I brought my GoPro. The snorkeling was to die for! We saw 1 turtle and lots of fishes in the water. Unfortunately we did not swim with dolphins but I will be back with the 50% lifetime discount we received because we weren’t able to swim with the dolphins as planned. We also got some storytelling and history from our guide! I will be coming back. The water was so blue and the dolphins were so cute!! We saw so many and I guess our good energy had some swim around us. Best birthday activity.

Awesome experience we got right up on the dolphins they were swimming right under the boat it looked amazing we got to dive in and swim right by them then afterwards swim with turtles it was a awesome experience Peter and Koa were amazing host 10/10 would do it again

Captain Stefan and Mate Koa are fabulous! Both are very knowledgable about the boat, the water and the history of the area. They welcomed us and made us feel like family from the start. The smaller boat experience is definitely with the price. On our trip we saw a pod of spinner dolphins, a sea turtle and a monk seal. We will definitely book with them again on our next visit to the island.

Koa and Stef were awesome! They really went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible and we did! We have done turtle excursions before and they did come close to matching this experience. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Lucas and Shanti were gems on this tour. Great boat and definitely beats the catamaran crowd. They were also very helpful with our 2 year old. He ended up loving the boat ride and water. Best crew and worth every penny!

We had a BLAST!!! Seeing dolphins in their natural habitat was absolutely unforgettable!! They were playful, beautiful, and came so close to the boat—it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime moment. The crew made sure we had the best possible views while still respecting the animals and their environment, which we really appreciated. We even saw an Octopus!

I don’t usually write reviews like this, but I feel it’s important to share our experience. Our tour was cancelled at the last minute due to not enough bookings, I think 4 people were booked on including us. This was despite it being advertised as a semi-private experience. It was especially disappointing as it was something we had been really looking forward to during our honeymoon. What made the situation more frustrating was the lack of notice. Because we were informed so late, we had no realistic opportunity to find an alternative, meaning we completely missed out on the snorkelling experience altogether. We were offered a potential alternative date, but this was after we were due to fly home, so it wasn’t a viable option.

A great experience, very friendly and knowledgeable guides. You will not be disappointed book the private tours well worth the money!

We had the most magical time on this dolphin tour. Stefen and Koa were the best crew- incredibly experienced, fun, while putting safety first. I wish the tour never ended. We absolutely recommend Peter, Skipper & Joanna, mate. They worked well together and insured our comfort and fun level at all times. We saw multiple turtles and swam with one!! Peter always let us know where to be on the boat to avoid the big spray. Joanna was a pro in the water with us. I was a little hesitant and she encouraged me and helped me every step of the way. So grateful for the experience. They both provided us with information and history along the way I hope you go, you will not be disappointed.

This was a fun experience. We had a great time and felt like it was well worth it. Would definitely recommend but if you aren't a strong swimmer, have mobility issues that keep you from moving quickly, or you have never snorkeled before I'd recommend something a little slower paced.

Lots of wildlife to see on this trip! We saw two kids of dolphins two pods of whales. Lots of fish and of course huge turtles. Guides ( Peter and Joanne) were so helpful and skilled. Joanne had all our fins back on the boat while we loaded from the water on the ladder on the boat. Let knew a lot about O'ahu , different fish we saw and spotted fish from far away to go take a look at.

We had a wonderful time with Kaden and Kristin! We snorkeled with bottlenose dolphins (so amazing!), turtles, and other fish. Great music and lots of fun on the boat, complete with fun facts about the island and whales as we saw them. Thank you!!

We had a lovely time with Koa and Kaiden (if I botched the spelling, I’m sorry!!). They were so knowledgeable and made the experience tons of fun. We got to see bottlenose dolphins and a sea turtle up close from the boat! The dolphins were feeling introverted when we went out, so we didn’t get to swim with them. We did get to snorkle with some big, colorful fish!! I loved how our crew paid attention to the dolphin’s behavior and the pod size to ensure we weren’t going to stress them out! They were extremely respectful to all the wildlife, which was one of the most important things to me. I was a first-time snorkeler, and there was a bit of a learning curve. The team was very patient and taught me to use the equipment on the spot, but in hindsight I wish I had done an intro snorkel in calmer, shallower waters first. When the dolphins are nearby you have to hop in the water super fast, so you don’t miss your opportunity, which can be a little overwhelming for a newbie. All in all, we had a great time! One of the highlights of our trip.

Great activity. Our group has people aged 3 to 71. We all had a great time. Kaden and Brooke were delightful…we had fun but also felt safe. Woukd definitely recommend. A couple notes: the “head” was out of order. If you go, plan it it being unavailable. Also, we booked for 5 people, one being a child. As such, we thought we might have a private sail, but alas, 2 other adults joined us making the group 7, even though the max is 6. We would have paid the adult rate for our grand daughter and woukd have paid for a phantom “adult” to have the boat and crew devoted to us and our interests. Just keep this in mind! Nonetheless, we had a great time!

The tour was really nice, we swam with the dolphins twice. After that we saw a turtle and a monk seal too. Unfortunately we found them after 1.5 hours. Ofcourse it’s nature and the tour guides can’t do anything about that. The crew was nice and they gave us good instructions.

Wow! This boat tour is BY FAR the best option. Other companies are cool but they load people on like a cruise ship. This is an intimate experience with chill and knowledgeable staff. 100% worth the extra $20 or whatever it is. Small, local business and great vibes. Enjoy!!

Don’t waste your money. I spent the extra for a small group experience. The girls on the boat were great. Not their fault. We were told the earlier in the day the better chance to swim with ocean life. We booked 0730. The night before we got a text that there weren’t enough people and we had to switch to 1030. When we got on the boat, the other couple said they were told the same thing and they were scheduled for 0730 too!!! Underhanded dealings! Needless to say, didn’t swim with one dolphin! The girls did their best! They looked and looked, we did snorkel with turtles, but I didn’t pay 200$ a person to swim with a turtle. I get it’s not guaranteed, it’s nature…. But the reviews spoke otherwise and the thought that if we did go at 0730 we may have been able to haunts me to today. They did offer to go again at half price, but a little too late.

We had the BEST experience with Brooke and Ali. We had some that had snorkeled as well as some newbies. They made sure we were comfortable and all our needs were met during the excursion. We really enjoyed having our smaller group vs the large group tours we saw along the way. Don’t hesitate to book with these ladies, I know we will again!! Thank you for making this trip memorable!
