Easy meet up, everything you need is provided, we really enjoyed the boat ride there. The guide was great very down to earth people. Smaller group than some of the other companies which we really liked. Saw a handful of mantas. Over all really cool.

My spouse couldnt stop talking about his experience with manta rays. Soon as we arrived @ our designation a Manta appeared jumped out of water.(rare) & amazing.The cool thing is you can either experience the Manta by riding along or getting in the water & snorkeling...the recommended way to get a better experience & a chance to see some Manta, there were snacks & drinks ( hot cocoa was offered & enjoyed..manta history was told by our tour guide,.both the boat captain & our guide in water was very professional & attentive to both the ride along & snorkeling w/ manta customers...highly recommended if like being adventurous & love water tours by boats :)

Bobby and Mitch were fun, hilarious, knowledgeable, and patient. We were able to see a young manta ray circle by our group multiple times. Highly worth it!

Great experience, we stayed out longer than the other boats. Definitely worth using this group vs the larger boats.

Robert and Bobby were fantastic, it was super impressive how they helped swim us around to help get us the best manta views. Brian also helped book us at the last minute when our other tour had to cancel.

This was the best excursion of the entire trip. We picked this one because it was a small group and locally owned. Dustin and Bobby were excellent. With it being a small group Bobby was able to move us around to where the Manta Rays were. The larger groups that were there only stayed in one spot. The videos that Bobby took were amazing and downloaded to us as soon as we got back at no additional cost! They provided us with snacks and hot chocolate when we were finished. Much appreciated. Anyone visiting the Big Island must do this. It was so great we booked a day snorkel while we were there with the same charter.

What a great experience!! The water was warm, the ocean was fairly calm, and we got to see mantas VERY close up! We also saw a few sharks, which was cool too. Definitely worth the money and the only way I’d get in the ocean at night.

Great experience! Bryan and Brice were extremely friendly and shared lots of stories and fun facts about manta rays. Apart from many mantas we even saw a very cool and rare monk seal! The hot chocolate afterwards was also a great plus.

The tour was exactly the right length and it was worth every cent! Captain Mitch & Bobby were excellent!! We felt so safe and taken care of and it was clear they went above and beyond to give us a wonderful experience, especially since the weather is unpredictable and the majestic Manta rays are wild animals! We saw SO many mantas - at one point I couldn’t even see the ocean floor there were so many in our life of sight. It was the highlight of our trip and one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. The hot chocolate and snacks on the boat ride home were the perfect way to end such a euphoric experience. To top it all off, we even got to take home photos and videos of the mantas swimming right up underneath us and barrel rolling - what a treat! Thank you so much!!!

The two-hour ride was a delightful and breathtaking experience, especially since we went during the sunset. The guides were incredibly helpful and made the journey even more enjoyable. Seeing the manta rays was an unforgettable moment, and we also had the pleasure of observing other types of fish.

The manta ray snorkel was absolutely amazing! Mitch was a great captain and navigated the waves without problem. Bryce was a great historian and made sure we felt safe. Intimate and unforgettable — this tour blew away every expectation. I’ll admit, the thought of getting in the ocean at night had me nervous, but it turned out to be thrilling and exhilarating. Bobby kept things light with his comedy, then got right in the water with us — guiding us by fins and expertise to find the rays. This was one of the coolest experiences of my life. Amanda, the ray, was clearly putting on a show — she glided within inches of me, a gentle giant of the sea. Even though we were provided wetsuits, the ocean chill started to set in about halfway through so the hot chocolate and rice crispy treat waiting afterwards were the perfect warm up reward. 10/10, would highly recommend. Bonus points for the video footage the team captured, so I could really enjoy myself. P.S. — loved the zodiac boat! 🤙🏽

Absolutely incredible experience. We say 8 manta rays doing barrel rolls right below us. Absolutely nuts. Top 10 lifetime experience and these guys do it right. Hot chocolate on the way home was a wonderful bonus! Seriously, do this, you won’t be sorry.

We were given snorkels and wet suits and they took us on the boat to the location. After a few mantaray facts, we got in the water. The mantarays got so close! In fact they bumped into me I think a few times. Afterwards they gave us hot chocolate and snacks. It was an incredible experience in the ocean, mantarays are such beautiful creatures.

I hopped in the water with an idea of what was going to happen but it was so much better. As someone nervous about the ocean at night, this experience was breathtaking and truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Mitch and Riley were so friendly and took great care of us. We saw manta rays the entire time we were in the water, and it was truly unforgettable. Captain Mitch and Riley were incredible. They made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the entire experience. I especially appreciated the small-group experience. While some other companies had much larger groups, I definitely think smaller groups are the way to go—it made the experience feel much more personal and enjoyable. We also got to see other marine life, including eels and a variety of fish. And the fact that they provided photos and videos **for free** was such a fantastic bonus! If this is your first time booking a manta ray excursion, I highly recommend this company. What an experience! A sunset fast raft ride over to the snorkeling spot, followed by the exciting float with the Mantas and a star lit night sky ride back. It couldn't have been any better. Cap'n Mitch and Bobby were fantastic hosts. They provide videos of your experience at the end of the night free of charge. Highly recommend booking with them for an unforgettable adventure.

Absolutely amazing! Loved the small group we got so much more out of it than a big company. Wet suits, snorkel provided. Watch the beautiful sunset and then get in and you hang on to a handle on the board and Bobby pulls you around the bay to find the Mantas. This is why the tour is superior to others that floor 40 people next to the big boats. They go above and beyond to give you the experience of a life time. Bobby filmed with the go pro and shared video clips of the awesome action. It took awhile to find the group but once we did the show was majestic. A must do experience with marine life charters! And a snack with coco on the way back under the stars!

Amazing experience. Bobby lead us around as we hung onto the board with lights until we found a great spot. Loved the small group with our guides and the personal touches. They videotaped and shared clips of our experience as well as had a snack and hot coco when we got back on the boat. They do everything possible to find you the mantas for a great experience. Some of the bigger tours left even if they did see much. Everyday is different but these guys will do the best they can to get you to have a great show, we had a boat of 10 and daughter who was ten didn’t have any issues of course she is very comfortable in the water. Unforgettable experience! We were lucky enough to go out on a full moon night and saw SEVEN manta rays! Watching these gentle giants glide just inches below us was truly one of the most incredible things we’ve ever experienced. Captain Mitch and our guide Bryce were outstanding. They were knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and so great with our kids. From the moment we got on the boat, they made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. There are a lot of manta tour companies to choose from, but Hawaii Marine Life Charters is the one to book. Their smaller group size makes such a huge difference. You get personal attention, never feel rushed, and it really helps you feel safe and relaxed on the water. A couple of times our kids needed help with their snorkel gear, and Bryce was there in seconds to save the day. This was such an incredible experience. Mitch and Riley were very kind and knowledgeable. We loved that it was a small group. The mantas were incredible. Riley did a great job of pointing out all of them as they were approaching us and making sure everyone was safe and comfortable on the board. This was the highlight of our time on the Big Island!

It was an amazing experience! Well worth it! When you arrive you are met with two really nice guys (Riley and the captain) working out of the back of a van so initially you are asking yourself yourself “what’s going on here”? But they were well organized and the boat was clean and well cared for. Once you get on the boat and head over to “the spot” you are traveling in darkness for about 15 minutes while the zodiac occasionally jumped off the waves. It was fun and exhilarating and you felt safe because you know these guys know this terrain extremely well. You arrive at a spot where there are a number of other boats lighting the ocean with their lights and floating contraptions. And then you go “Wow! This is gonna be super cool!” Once you are in the water and hanging into your lighted floating device, the “show” begins. So many manta rays were coming up to the light under our flotation device doing flips within inches our face masks. Unbelievable! We were out there for likely an hour just marveling at these wondrous creatures. We felt safe and well cared for the entire time. Really an incredible experience! Once we got back in the boat we were given hot chocolate (really good!) and snacks amd headed back. All in all a FANTASTIC experience and we highly recommend it!

This was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had! I was a little nervous, but Riley and Dusty were great. It was so beautiful and amazing to see! We saw so many and they did barrel rolls all around us-getting so close. And bonus, we had 4 bottlenose dolphins swim under us too. I highly recommend this tour!

Wow. Wow. Wow and more wows!!!!! What an incredible trip with Captain Mitch and Bobby. We did the sunset cruise. Beautiful sunset and plenty of local information on the way. Kitted out with wetsuits and for me as I didn’t want to wear one they were ok with that too. 15 minutes ish and we where there, quite a few boats already there and captain Mitch found our spot. We then watched the beautiful sunset and took our photos. Then Bobby took pictures of us before we got in. The other boats were already in the water but Bobby got out his “information” book and explained very well what to expect and said let them go in early and attract the rays to the plankton and we will wait and get out later than them. He gave us a lot of information about the manta rays which was great. Then took more photos. Then it was time for to me to get in. I was in the water for less than 20 seconds and a manta ray was there literally 1-2 inches front m my face. The small group (10) of us all got in. Bobby got anyone who needed assistance comfortable in the water then wow (expletive) word it was incredible!!! The manta rays where everywhere. There was always 5-6-7 all around us and must of been 20-25 different ones who came to us. I got swiped by one on my ribs and another one hit my leg then went all the way up my torso. A manta ray blessing as they say. I cannot recommend this trip enough. It was magical and unforgettable. My wife does not like the water when she can’t see what’s underneath her but it was 15ft and with all the you could see the bottom and I’ve never seen her happier in the water ever. This is one trip you can’t miss. Still happy smiley face emoji.

AMAZING!!!! Definitely the best adventure of our trip! Bobby and Brian were great at communicating what to do and we had a time to remember with rays so close and giving us a show with their graceful presence and barrel rolling right at our faces! On the way back we warmed up with hot cocoa and snacks. Truly, a perfect time! Thanks guys! We’ll for sure be back next time we are here!
