The experience was amazing! It was my husbands and Is first time snorkeling as well as visiting Hawaii. Our guide Payson brought us to a turtle cave and almost instantly we saw 10 turtles. Tips for success The waves can be very choppy so don’t eat too much before hand and take motion sickness medication I know from my personal lack of preparation After snorkeling Payson brought us to two different secluded beaches (black then white sand) we definitely will come back to enjoy these next time in South Maui. The best part is our guide was able to provide many photos and videos so I didn’t need to bring my own camera, they are all so cool it’s for an added charge but very affordable and worth it! My family and I had an absolute blast on the snorkeling trip. We felt very safe even with our limited experience, so I definitely recommend it to beginners! Alex, our guide, did an amazing job leading us and sharing fun facts throughout the trip, which we really enjoyed. In my opinion, it was also the most cost-effective option, especially for the length of the visit. We got to see at least six turtles and a lot of other sea life, which we were content with. For more confident snorkelers, I highly recommend the underwater scooter. It was super fun to use and helped us get underwater with ease. Our guide was easy to contact and great at communicating what to expect and everything we needed for the trip. Again, a big shoutout to Alex for an awesome snorkeling experience!

We had an amazing snorkeling experience with Alex! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating and made the whole experience fun and comfortable for our family. We saw tons of sea turtles up close, along with lots of beautiful fish, and even got to hold a purple pincushion starfish and a red pencil urchin. Alex also took some fantastic underwater photos and videos for us, which gave us great memories from the experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or snorkeling adventure. Definitely one of the highlights of our Maui trip!

Absolutely amazing experience! Alex was our guide and he went above and beyond for us. This was our son's first snokeling experience and was a bit nervous. Alex continued to make sure he felt comfortable and was having a good time. Throughout our time on the water, Alex pointed out various fish or cool things to see. We got to see so many turtles up close!! We were so blown away by this experience. We'll be recommending this company to anyone going to Maui! Simply cannot say enough good things about the experience!!

THIS IS A WALK-IN FROM SHORE TRIP, NO BOAT TAKING YOU OUT INTO THE WATER TO JUMP OFF AND CLIMB BACK IN BY LADDER. Many people had trouble getting in and out of the water by being knocked down by waves and dragged along the shore. My legs were bruised and bleeding by the time I got out. I’ve been on many snorkel tours and have never heard of one not going out by boat. I see many other complaints of the same thing and each time the owner states “It was clearly stated what the tour was.” We booked our tour through Viator. CLEARLY THERE IS NO SUCH STATEMENT. True, there is no mention of a boat,-is that supposed to be a clear statement that there will be no boat??? On top of that our guide was very unprofessional. Joe talked about how he and his coworkers would go to the bar at night and make fun of their customers. Also, we were all together as a group when the guide suddenly swam way ahead of us and yelled there was a turtle. When the first person (young and athletic) caught up to him the turtle was gone. The guide kept saying we had to swim faster, but he was the one with the hand held propeller. I know turtles can quickly swim away, but I couldn’t help but wonder if there was a turtle to begin with, thus the “turtles guaranteed” would not apply in this case. We did not see any turtles on this swim, just some small fish, a sand dollar and a spiked orange creature that we could’ve seen on our own swim from the shore. I feel this was a waste of money and do not recommend this tour.

Amazing time we got to see turtles and even other wild life pretty good stuff on this activity i would recommend, Alex is super understanding and watches for everyone on the journey. Overall 10/10 experience would recommend, yes its guaranteed turtles haha.

It’s was great! I love being able to swim without a life jacket. The water was great, swimming with turtles (don’t touch them) was awesome! Alex was incredible! Great tour, highly recommend!

Alex is the best! We had a pretty small group of 8 people, and Alex was extremely patient and kind with us. On our drives, he would point out different landmarks and nature views. He took such amazing pictures and videos, and we got to see 4 sea turtles! Best priced snorkel tour I saw on Maui, and definitely who I would recommend.

We had a blast! Swam with multiple turtles, held starfish, and swam along the beautiful coral reef. The instructor was awesome and took great underwater pics of us. He was also very safety conscious. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing experience. We have done snorkeling with turtles off boats previously but this adventure was unique. We were brought to a cove where we swam out with appropriate equipment to get to the turtle cave. We saw 6 turtles! They were swimming close to us and even followed us back to shore! The coral and fish were also beautiful. Payson was a wonderful guide. He provided a thorough orientation. He is clearly knowledgeable about snorkeling, turtles, wildlife and Maui. He also brought us to two breathtaking beaches. We. including our daughter and grandchildren, were thrilled with this unforgettable experience. One of the tour guides called me the morning we were supposed to snorkel and cancelled our tour for the afternoon. He said the water was too rough and we would get a full refund. Totally understand the conditions were not favorable but I have never received a refund. It’s been a week now and no one will message me back. It cost me almost $300 for 4 people so very disappointing that I can’t get ahold of anyone.

I’m giving this a 4 star because the walk to the van was longer than expected. I thought we would be traveling by van in an air conditioned vehicle.

Even though the weather wasn’t ideal—it was rainy and the water was quite choppy—we still had an incredible experience. We were lucky enough to see several Hawaiian green sea turtles, a puffer fish, and even sea urchins. Our guide, Payson, was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable despite the ocean conditions. He shared interesting information about the marine life and made the entire experience enjoyable. The small group setting was a huge plus, and we really appreciated the personalized attention. We had a great time and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui.

We absolutely LOVED the tour! Everything was smooth and well thought through from start to finish. Our guide, Alex, was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. Snorkeling was a lot of fun and we got to see some amazing ocean creatures and of course magnificent turtles. Alex also introduced us to some very unique locations on the island, where we would not have gotten ourselves. He also took great pictures underwater. Overall, the tour was excellent! We had an amazing experience with our tour guide! From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the snorkeling adventure fun while also sharing interesting information about the marine life and the area, which made the experience even more memorable. We made it a family activity, including my autistic son. He was understanding, never rushed him, and made sure he felt comfortable and included throughout the tour. His calm approach, and reassurance allowed our family to truly relax and enjoy the experience. Such an awesome experience! We saw three sea turtles. They are so beautiful and I am so glad we booked this snorkeling experience. We also saw an eel, puffer fish, and a sting ray. Our guide Alex, was so helpful and made the snorkeling experience smooth for my boyfriend who cannot swim and we had the best time! (life jacket and boogie board for him)

Our guide was Joe-meet up spot was easy to find. i never snorkled in choppy water before so i wld have taken a vest or belly float that was offered. we were able to hold sea urchins he brought up for us-saw a couple turtles. after we were done snorkeling he took us to see a few beautiful sights. he also took our pictures-i have yet to find out how to get copies.

Appreciate the private tour to Maui’s wildlife and scenic spots. We wouldn’t have been able to explore these areas on our own which is off the tourist’s beaten path. Alex is very patient towing a non swimming customer. Discover Maui from a local’s perspective.

The booking experience, the instruction, wildlife education , and snorkeling were amazing. We got to experience Hawaii as it should be. Robbie was very professional, educational, showed great care for the water and it’s habitat. He really made the trip worth it. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Had a great time with Payson as our guide. It was nice to enter the waters at the shore. We saw amazing sea life (sea turtles, tropical fish, urchins, etc) during the snorkeling and visited a couple beaches with gorgeous views.

We originally signed up for Wailea Wildlife Tour With Turtle Town Snorkel & Possible Octopus. We received a call asking if we could change to Turtle town Snorkel with Video and pictures. This was disappointing because we wanted the wildlife tour. Also, the description made it seem like we would be snorkeling from the beach. We did leave from the beach but it was a long swim to the turtle cave. I rented the small motor that pushed me through the water. So the $99 original excursion ended up costing an extra $37 Uber and $50 for the little motor. Thankfully we shared an Uber back with a very nice lady that paid for us. Also, no wildlife tour. All that being said, Robbie, our tour guide was amazing. He was personable and very attentive especially with one guest that could not swim. The photos he took were great.

Alex was a friendly and professional tour guide. We snorkeled in an area that had lots of fish and some turtles swimming around. Alex did a good job showing us around the area while also making sure everyone was okay in the water. The rest of the tour went to a few scenic beaches. My only suggestion is that it would have been nice to get out for photos at the volcano rock area, but that may have been a timing issue since we were in the water for awhile looking at turtles. Still a five star review. I would definitely recommend them.

My wife and I had a great experience snorkelling with Joe. He explained everything really well, he offered us lifejackets and showed us how to use the snorkel equipment, and we got to see several turtles and starfish, as well as other fish, and almost on octopus, but it buried itself in the sand. Joe took many pictures and we got them at the end. Joe was very fun and personable. We definitely recommend this tour and thought the price is very reasonable compared to other companies.

Knowledgeable tour guide. My husband and I had a wonderful time. I tend to get sea sick, and did so our guide was kind enough to drop me at my car after i gave snorkeling a try and continued the tour without me for my husband's sake. I would recommend to all my friends!

We loved seeing the sea turtles, spouting whales and other sea creatures! Payson was a patient teacher for this family of first time snorkelers. We also really enjoyed seeing the beaches and lava fields of South Maui! It was a great way to spend an afternoon in Hawaii! 🌺😎

Payton is our tour guide. He is really nice and well prepared for everything. Beforehand he already ask our sizes for our fins. He is knowlegeable around the area and drive us to the coolest spots. He did go above and beyond. He guided us during the entire trip. We ended up seeing 3 turtles upclose which is pretty cool.
