Great tour! Lynne was super knowledgeable and well prepared. We were a bit scared because of the waves, but Lynne was very patient with us and very helpful! We saw a lot of fish!

The guide was so patient with everyone which I appreciated because we had no experience in Snorkeling.

We had a blast! Lynne is great- knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. The spot was exactly what we wanted, calm and low key. And there were so many fish! The process from booking to finding the meeting spot to the snorkeling experience was easy and fun. Highly recommend!

Given all the positive reviews, I'm sure many people have had a good experience with this tour, and enjoyed their time with Lynn, as she was very knowledgeable about the area. but I'm writing this review specifically for people who are hesitant, nervous, or inexperienced with snorkelling. I booked this tour after doing a lot of research on beginner-friendly snorkelling tours in Waikiki because my sister was snorkelling for the first time and was very anxious about being in the ocean. Based on the reviews and description, I expected more support and attention for beginners and nervous swimmers. To start with, the equipment is very old and visibly worn out, as a few reviewers have mentioned. While I understand equipment may be sanitized, it still looked outdated and poorly maintained. One of the floating belts even had a broken buckle. Unfortunately, my sister had a very traumatic experience. During the briefing, Lynn mentioned that some of us may feel fearful once in the water, but when my sister became overwhelmed, there was very little support offered to help her feel comfortable or safe. She eventually decided to leave the tour and walk back towards shore. While trying to get out, she tripped and fell on the reefs and screamed for help multiple times, but the guides did not notice her. Luckily the life guards were there to help and clean the wounds on her leg. I am sure the response will be that we should have booked a private session or followed the map more carefully to leave the water, but the at the end of the day, if you are bringing groups of people into the ocean, especially beginners, there is still responsibility to ensure people are safe regardless of their experience level. I would strongly recommend avoiding this tour if you are not comfortable snorkelling independently or if you are nervous in the water, because you likely won't receive much assistance once you are out there. Also, snorkelling itself was underwhelming. The water was very cloudy and we did not see many fish. But to be honest, this might be the case in all of Waikiki. The briefing lasted just over 30 minutes and the actual time in the water was only around 20 minutes. Overall, if you are already comfortable snorkelling on your own, you would probably be better off doing some research and snorkelling independently. you do not need this tour.

Great experience for swimmers and non swimmers! Able to see lots of fish. Private area to enjoy peacefully.

My experience was very good mainly because Lynne took such great care of me and made me as comfortable as possible. I’m a senior citizen and hadn’t been snorkeling in quite a while. Mahalo many times over!

We never had never done this before so we were a bit nervous about it. Lynne explained everything in detail, helped us with our gear and showed pictures of the fish we might see. And we did see a lot of fish. It was the most amazing experience!! Lynne gave us the time we needed to get comfortable under water with the mask. Highly recommended.

We had a great time this morning snorkeling with Lynne. She came prepared and stocked with fish food😁 She was very knowledgeable about the fish and area. She took video throughout the hour and was all-around a pleasant guide. It lasts an hour and was a great value.

This was a great snorkeling experience. Even beginners had an easy time of it. All the equipment was provided and the price was a bargain. We got some great pictures and saw a ton of fish. We also got to feed the fish which was fun. I would highly recommend Lynne to anyone who wants to go snorkeling in Waikiki.

Great experience!! Lynne made sure we were all comfortable in the water and that we all got a full experience. Got to see many fish, including many of the rare ones, it really was a great day🐠☀️ Even got to see an eel and a sea cucumber. Getting a video and photos made this a full package for a very affordable price.

Lynne is patient with newbies and made this a fabulous intro to snorkeling for my brother and his wife! My hubby and I (veteran snorkelers) also had a great time! Much less stress than trying to get to Haunama Bay.

Just did this tour with Lynne this week. She made everything so easy and accessible for my family. We were first timer and didn’t know what to expect and what to do. She knows the best location, explained everything to us clearly and supportively, showed us the pictures of fishes. When she said we will see hundreds of fishes before we went in water, I couldn’t believe my ears. Indeed. We were surrounded by hundreds of them. This is such a fun experience without the hustle and expense going on a boat. The pictures and video she did for us were just sweet. Strongly recommend!

Lynne was an amazing host! She was very knowledgeable with the reef and we always felt safe and informed about everything we needed to know. The fish definitely showed up for us! Came with my 3 grandsons aged 8,11, & 13. Lynne was most accommodating and provided a great experience for them. We saw many fishes and even kissed a sea cucumber for good luck. Lynn also did a free family video and photos for everyone to download. Equipments were provided as well . I highly recommend this activity.

We had an amazing time! It was intimate, personal and Lynne was absolutely amazing! Lynne is extremely knowledgeable and I loved that we had a short review of the type of fish we would see! If you’re looking for an intimate setting and yo see a lot of fish, then look no further, Lynne is your girl!

Lynn is very accommodating and makes sure she meets everyone's needs. I would definitely book another tour with her next time we're around. I actually seen more fish than when we snorkeled in Hanauma Bay. You just gonna have to time it so the water could be much clearer.

I went to this a couple of days ago and I can honestly say that it was a wonderful experience and I really enjoyed my time. She was so accommodating and understanding and even though my sister even came a few minutes late, she waited kindly and explained everything so thoroughly and I was kind of scared since I actually don't swim but I had a marvelous time and it was one of my favorite parts about traveling to Hawaii! Would do it again!!!

I had a great time with Lynne. She explained all the fish and route ahead of time (granted not all of it was remembered but it was easy to follow and enjoy once in the water). The beach she uses is beautiful and the chosen spot isn't crowded, but not isolated, so you can still see others enjoying their time. She was very accommodating with equipment and easing nerves. You get food to feed the fish to get them to come closer and be more interactive, but you'll definitely see plenty before that. Lynne is in the water with you and can point out notable fish and answer any questions. I also liked the photos she took and the nice compilation video she edited. The price for it all can't be beat.

Our snorkeling experience with our two teenage grand-daughters was incredible leaving us all with memorable laughter, silliness, beautiful surroundings and a sense that we were all safe with your pre-instructions, guidance and watchful eye as you gave our family personal space but monitored our safety. My family and I had such a fun morning snorkeling with Lynne and Bob! They were both so patient with my 6 year old son who was struggling a bit in the beginning, and they made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. I have never been so close to fish before without the fish being in an aquarium. This was a very well organized and extremely fun snorkeling experience. Lynne is an extremely professional guide and shared her valuable knowledge for successful snorkeling. We gained immense knowledge from her about the ocean's waves and various types of fishes we would encounter.

We were able to schedule less than 24 hrs advance. Yay! Unfortunately though the session was canceled due to high wave warmings. Lynne reached out to us to advise us. She was so kind and professional and refunded our reservation. Sad for us and sad for her losing business. But better to be safe than sorry.

The scuba tour was amazing! Lynne was so informative, kind, and professional throughout the tour. Lynn was friendly, kind, helpful, full of knowledge, but not a know it all. She was able to relate to young kids and our 16 year old son. She supplied floats for non swimmer, and made everyone feel comfortable in the water

Lynne was amazing and took so many photos and videos of us, we were taken out to a place in the water where we could clearly see so many fish, my 11 year old daughter and I had an incredible time! She was also very knowledgeable and taught us about the different fish we would see, and it was a definitely highlight of our trip. Lynne is literally the coolest, kindest, most knowledgable host I’ve had for an experience on a vacation ever. Not only was the snorkeling beyond cool, but getting the specially edited video at the end was so cute I almost teared up lol. She goes above and beyond for the price you pay, plus bringing the food for the fishies made them all swim around you so it was even more fun than I expected.
