James was a thoughtful and kind guide. He made sure everyone was able to keep pace and was kind enough to assist the less strong swimmer when needed.

James made this snorkeling experience one of the favorites from our vacation! This snorkeling experience for fairly new snorkelers was wonderful! James’ calm explanation and easy coaching made this such a wonderful experience. Having the wakeboard to hold onto when needed added that extra layer of security. Swimming a safe distance from two sea turtles was sure a bonus! Would highly recommend!

We did our beginner snorkeling session with James and it was awesome. He is very nice and helpful. Me and my wife doesn't know swimming but our 10 yr son knows. He attend everyone accordingly and ensured everyone is safe. Since we are not great swimmers, we had to hold the raft and he was always there. He kept eye on all the people. Thanks James. Due to weather conditions they changed the location to Mala wharf and it was much calmer location than Weilia.

This was a fabulous experience. James made sure we saw a number of fish and coral and he took pictures and videos. He was very helpful in navigating the snorkeling experience.

We loved this! We went with another couple. Two of us had never snorkeled and the other couple had tried without much success once many years ago. I am not a strong swimmer at all and was VERY nervous getting in the deep ocean water. James was terrific. He was just so nice. He got us all geared up, made sure fins, masks, life jackets all fit, and once in the water he showed us what we need to know. It was just wonderful. We saw at least 6+ huge sea turtles (some may have been the same one passing by more than once, but we didn’t know the difference LOL). We saw many sea creatures, beautiful fish, James brought some creatures up for us to hold, and even pointed out an eel. He took wonderful photos of us from under water and we got them from him from air drop immediately after the tour. I cannot say enough good things about this. I was so nervous, but it ranks up there as one of my very favorite things I have ever done! You do not need to know how to swim, as the life vest keeps you floating, but you need to be comfortable and relaxed in the water. The more relaxed I got, the easier it was. I was tired afterwards, though not really sure why as I didn’t feel like I was working hard. 10/10 recommend this experience and James as your guide. Loved it so much - all four of us did!!

This is perfect for beginners in snorkeling, especially those who are not strong swimmers or a little nervous in the ocean. Our instructor was James and he was so great from start to finish. He taught us all the basics of snorkeling and took us on his paddle board, where we saw so many different types of fish, coral reefs, and even two sea turtles. It was truly a wonderful and magical experience and I’m so glad we did it. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you are new to snorkeling! You will not regret doing this.

What an experience! My husband and I went for guided non-swimmers experience and we had the best time. When I say I don’t know how to swim I mean I don’t know even basics but I was able to part of the whole experience and that says a lot about Seth and James who guided us and everyone in the group. They were patient, kind and super funny! Given this was the first water experience, it was insanely amazing! Thank you both for making this probably the best memory of the trip!

Amazing experience. This was the first time experience for me, my wife and our 8 year old. Wife and I had limited swimming experience so we were nervous at the beginning. Seth did a great job with the instructions and made us feel really comfortable. We saw lots of marine life including sea turtles. It was definitely a memorable experience and would definitely recommend it for anyone with limited or no snorkeling experience.

We booked the “snorkeling for non‑swimmers” experience for our family of four. My wife and I can swim, but our kids (ages 5 and 7) had never snorkeled or been in the ocean before, so this felt like the right fit and was recommended when we called ahead. Our instructors, Sarah and Jasmine, were fantastic. Jasmine in particular spent nearly the entire session working with our daughter, who was so nervous at first she didn’t want to get off the large paddle board they used to take us out. With patient, thoughtful coaching, Jasmine had her in the water and snorkeling on her own within an hour. We saw sea turtles, moray eels, and so many colorful fish, it was incredible, and our kids were asking to go again the next day. Even our 5‑year‑old picked it up quickly and, with a life vest, was exploring on his own. Highly recommended.

A great introductory small group snorkeling experience. We wanted a guided trip for our 11 year old grandson and wanted to ensure there were professional eyes on him in the water. There were 6 of us in the group and 2 guides which worked out beautifully. The instructors gave a great overview of the snorkel equipment and we walked into the water using a large paddleboard we could sit on till we got to the snorkel spot. Downside was a large boat with 100 snorkelers - was right near our destination, but our instructors were able to keep some separation. We did experience a pretty heavy swell off Makena Beach, but that's nature! Our grandson was able to follow a sea turtle and snorkeled all the way back in to the beach. Instructors made us feel secure that he was being watched.

Seth was AMAZING! He was so good with our 8 year old who had never been snorkeling. Little did we know he would take to it like a fish. We saw so many cool fish and several sea turtles. Seth and our son chopped it about sea life and he made the whole experience fun and educational. We will definitely be back and recommend this experience to any family with a child who has never done anything like this before.

We had a wonderful experience with Sara and James! During our original 9:30 AM snorkeling tour, the winds picked up and the water became rough. Safety was clearly their top priority, so they made the decision to turn back early. We were really impressed by how calm, professional, and reassuring both instructors remained despite the challenging conditions, and they got everyone back safely. What truly stood out was that they didn’t stop there—they went above and beyond by offering to rebook us on another tour at no additional cost. Our second snorkeling trip at 7:30 AM was absolutely incredible. The water was calm, and we swam alongside several sea turtles, including a mother and baby pair! It was an unforgettable experience. James was an exceptional instructor—patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging throughout the tour. Sara was equally fantastic, making everyone feel safe and welcome from start to finish. This was a true five-star experience, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui!

Our snorkeling tour was supposed to be on June 30 however due to current condition it was decided that it wasn't safe to go into the open waters. We had to rescheduled and MySplash quickly accomindated us and rescheduled our snorkeling tour to July 3rd. MySplash was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The crew Seth, James and Sarah were friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the entire experience feel safe, relaxed, and fun. They explained everything clearly, checked everyone’s gear, and made sure even first‑timers felt confident before getting in the water. Once we were out at the snorkeling spot, the views were breathtaking. Crystal‑clear water, vibrant coral, and an amazing variety of fish everywhere you looked. I even spotted a few sea turtles gliding by, which was a definite highlight. The guides were great at pointing out different marine life and sharing interesting facts without ever making the tour feel rushed. Overall, this was one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Maui and want a memorable, safe, and stunning adventure on the water, MySplash is an excellent choice. We saw two turtles and got to hold a starfish and a sea urchin. It really is non-swimmer friendly experience. Our tour guides Sarah and Jammy are awesome! They made sure everyone has fun and felt safe.

The crew is very friendly and knowledgeable. They prep you well and boost your confidence before heading out to actual snorkeling spot. Benjamin and Sarah were super nice and made sure our tour was safe and wonderful. I highly recommend it if you’re a non swimmer.

My first time snorkeling with my daughter. I am a non-swimmer. My instructors are James and Ben. Both of them are very professional instructors, especially Ben, he was helping and teaching me how to snorkel. A lot of fun! Highly recommend this tour!

10/10 would recommend and 10/10 would do it again! My 9 year old son was a G in the water. He has limited experience snorkeling but the instructors did a great job! I think my wife was a little more hesitant but she got over her own fear of the water. Overall, the instructors were all friendly and seemed like they really loved what they were doing out there!

Did not have equipment that fit. Sizes were provided well in advance but operator failed to have equipment that fit. Guide was unapologetic about lack of equipment and basically told me to just go without

Had our experience with James & Jasmine and it was hands-down, one of our favorite experiences!! Jasmine had a really calm, soothing voice & manner that immediately puts you at ease. Even if you are a non-swimmer /novice swimmer you Can do this!! They both got us into our gear, explained how to use the equipment and every part of the process, stayed nearby in the water with us and were just really, really good instructors. 10/10 will book again! They also took underwater photos of us.

Amazing experience for first time snorkelers! I went with my 5 year old son. Our guides were James and Jasmine. They were both super kind, patient, and thorough in explaining everything with how the snorkel gear works and what exactly we'd be doing. I want to highlight that they were both amazing with my little one, and went above and beyond helping him snorkel while I needed a moment when I was feeling a bit queasy (which I think was my own fault, I hadn't had enough water) - if you're thinking about booking this, do it! It was a fun and safe experience!

Best for non-swimmers! We were a family of four—two adults and two kids (ages 12 and 6)—and none of us are swimmers. Thanks to the team’s guidance and support, we had an amazing experience. The staff were awesome, kind, encouraging, and incredibly patient throughout the tour. We were part of a small group of just six people, which made the experience even more comfortable and personalized. Our 6-year-old had an absolute blast and said it was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend this tour for families and first-time snorkelers, especially non-swimmers.

My absolute favorite snorkeling tour to do while in Maui ! It was my second time doing it and this year we were even able to take the life vest off and felt more comfortable than ever ! We will be back next year to do the scooter but if your eerie about the water or not a swimmer this is the perfect snorkel to book!

Took our 5yr and 7yr olds to first-time snorkeling. None of us are experienced swimmers, so we were worried how the kids would handle it, but Tristan (kids called him Mr. T) was amazing with the kids. Very patient, accommodating and knowledgeable. We didn't catch her name, but the female staff was also accommodating as well with kids. I highly recommend for the family with young kids trying out first time or parents who are not strong swimmers. Duration was perfect too. Not too short, not too long.

First time in Maui and this was the highlight for today. Early morning was great and I am so glad that I chose this one. The two staff members were so patient with us beginners and took their time to ensure that I feel safe to actually enjoyed the adventure. I got to swim with turtles ❤️

We were on this tour yesterday, and it was one of the highlights of our Maui trip! We had a great experience snorkeling with myslpash team. The crew was very patient with me as I am afraid of deep sea water. But they understood it and made me really comfortable. They let me take my timr o explore water and when I did go in water, it was amazing. Thanks team for helping me go under water to see beautiful turtle!

The weather was not cooperating with our first attempt. Tristan was so accommodating to switch our reservation to another day. We went today!!! Our guide G was the best! He was so good with our adult special needs son! Took time to make sure he/we all felt comfortable. The tour was incredible. Saw turtles, a sea snake, eel and all kinds of fish. He brought up a sea urchin for us to hold!!! The pictures/videos will be cherished!!! Definitely recommend!!!

It was our first time snorkeling and Tristan made it so easy for us. We had never swum in the ocean before and were super nervous in the beginning. But Tristan made us comfortable with the snorkell gear within minutes. We saw 2 giant sea turtles and tons of sea life! Great experience and highly recommended as an introduction to snorkeling!

Tristin was the best instructor ever, he was so helpful for me. Was scared but once i relaxed it was worth it. Saw things I would have only seen at the aquarium. Love seeing the turtles and all the other fish. Was da best 👍. Mahalo!!

The experience was super fun. The instructors Triston and Jasmine were super welcoming and supportive, great for beginners. Jasmine took good care of us and led us out into the ocean on a giant surf board. Triston took photo/videos of us and let us hold an urchin (which he said the locals used to use as a chalk :) ). Highly recommend this experience.

The best experience ever. I do not know swimming at all and i get freaked out if my feets dont touch the ground but all thanks to Triston. He made it work for me under 10 to 15feet water. Only because of him i was able to see the under water life. If you are not comfortable he will hold your hand and make you see the under water life. My words wont justify how greatful i am that i booked him for snorkel. I dont think so i would have found any better instructor than him

My 5 year old and I have pretty basic swim skills, and I’m quite afraid of water. Seth and team did a phenomenal job of keeping us safe and helping us to get a meaningful experience underwater while respecting our pace. My 5 year went from stressed to absolutely loving it - even after getting water into his snorkel a few times :) we would HIGHLY recommend this for experience who is willing to build a muscle on bravery, and snorkeling. The beauty underwater is sublime, and the experience cathartic.

First off, a big thank you to Tristen and o team for making me feel comfortable in deep water as a non-swimmer. They provide all the necessary equipment and show you the technique with patience. I enjoyed this experience a lot and appreciated the personalized attention and friendliness. Tristen was by my side almost all the time in the beginning, and then as I gained more confidence, he let me float around on my own to see the beautiful creatures below. We got to see 5-6 sea turtles! Also, you get some photos and videos for proof or bragging rights. Don't think twice, book it!

We had an AMAZING time with Tristen. I am not comfortable at all in water and he had me snorkeling in just a few minutes. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and confident. We felt very reassured that he had our safety as his highest priority. My kids had a fabulous time. It will be a great memory for us!

Tristan, the crew, and the experience were amazing. Would do it again. Be early to find parking, reapply sunblock, prep for motion sickness, and have all your questions answered before going into the ocean.

Viator never told us that we were supposed to be at the place 30 minutes before start time so we missed the entire snorkeling.

So much fun and loved our whole experience! Thanks to Triston, Anya, and James for taking amazing care of us!! Seeing the turtle and getting to hold a red urchin was really the highlight of our whole Hawaii trip.

The crew catered to each individual as needed from beginners to experienced. A great time for all. We'll do it again!

If this is your first time snorkeling I don’t know why you would go with anyone else. This team will guide you through the entire process and ensure you have an excellent experience. Thank you guys saw my wife go from zero experience and full of anxiety, to having confidence and a day we will never forget.

Great family adventure. James was an excellent guide who made us feel safe and comfortable in the water, and we saw starfish, tropical fish, turtles and a manta ray! This was the perfect end of our vacation and we highly recommend this crew for beginners and intermediates.

This was great as a gentle introduction to snorkeling for my daughter who is still learning to swim. We saw turtles and fish and it was nice to have some pictures. The guides were nice annd informative about the reef and about Hawaii and the setting is beautiful.

Although the vigor of the ocean proved not to be our friend, we really enjoyed our experience with G as our snorkel guide. He spent the time needed to properly suit us up and prep us for our adventure and guided us out to open water despite the chop. While our trip unfortunately had to be cut short, we will definitely head out again the next time we are back in Hawai'i! The only recommendation we would have is to plan for potentially limited parking at Wailea Beach as a portion of the parking lot was closed so please confirm space availability before heading over.

Great company and a great snorkeling experience! Went out with our family of 4, kids are 5 and 6, and the instructors were so great with them. They were snorkeling without any problems thanks to the instruction they received. We’ll definitely be using MySplash for future snorkeling experiences when we return to Maui. Highly recommend!
