We had an amazing time on our Circle Island Tour with Steven! He was patient, kind, friendly, and made sure we had a wonderful experience. He took us to so many beautiful and interesting spots around the island, giving us plenty of opportunities to explore, take pictures, and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii. His warm personality and patience made the tour even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated his hospitality and would highly recommend Steven to anyone visiting Hawaii. We toured Oahu from Waikiki Beach through the North Shore to Pearl Harbor and back to Waikiki with Tyler as our guide. He was an excellent tour guide telling us about the Hawaiian peoples and their cultures. We saw many amazing sights including Shark's Cove, Turtle Beach, Sunset Beach, Halona Blowhole and the most expensive neighborhoods in Hawaii and its ties to the Mafia! We learned about the US military presence and drove past the U.S.Army Schofield Barracks. Tyler added his own touch to the tour telling us of his growing up on the island and he and his family's favorite places to surf, fish and "hang out". Our tour also included visits to a macadamia nut farm for coffee and nut samplings. We passed by Kualoa Ranch where very famous movies such as Jurassic Park, Jumanjii and Pearl Harbor were filmed. We were able to see more than we could have on our own during our short stay in Oahu and Tyler made every moment truly enjoyable! A must do tour!!

Tour guide Tyler from Daniel Hawaii was very good with information and history and added some humor. The only problem was if you sat in the last seat in the back it was difficult to hear. But overall tour was great!

Malea was so warm and knowledgeable! It's a long day, but very informative and you see a lot of very beautiful things!

Guide did not have much knowledge of the places we visited or Oahu in general. Only lived there for 6 months. Tour was only a drive by most places with the Guide not even knowing the names of the beaches etc. Macadamia Nut farm was very good, with the coffee being fantastic, Dole plantation pineapple whip with fresh pineapple was delicious definitely the highlight of the trip. Please if you are this tour guide, take some time to research your craft and learn about your area and the places you are actually showing tourists. It doesn't take much to read the plaques yourself whilst there so you know more for your next tour. He didn't seem interested in learning it anyway. I was really looking forward to this small group tour and coming away with some valuable insights into the region, but was very disappointed.

Had a great day on this tour with a fantastic driver / guide who is a local by the name of Tyler. Wealth of knowledge and was great fun. Small group tours are really a great idea. Tyler is a credit to the company. Keep up the great work....

Our registration, pickup and drop off went seamlessly. We didn’t register until the day before (I don’t recommend this) but were made very comfortable through the correspondence we received. The tour itself was great. A thorough experience of Oahu. Our guide, Bodhi, was absolutely amazing! The only thing more impressive than his knowledge about everything Hawaii, was his unique method(s) of sharing what he knows. His delivery was interactive for anyone who wanted to participate, and for those who didn’t, they could sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery and soak up what others had to offer.

We really appreciated the "shortcuts" to reduce wait time at lunch and the Plantation that our guide, Tyler, provided. The food options were limited to one business (with 8 options, not counting sweets). I thought having a menu to look over in the van prior to arrival was smart and a good time saver. At the food location, Tyler make a passive aggressive joke to one person who had allergies (and couldn’t eat the one business option) but could have shaved ice and fruit. The food was said to be fresh, which I agree, but I spent time removing some of the shrimp veins. There were a lot of stops around the island and I loved the overlooks. Some jokes from our guide were political, which could fall differently than he might anticipate. He also talked a lot about how tourists weren't very smart (| get it when it's unsafe behavior and I'm thankful to now know them). Other comments were negative regarding some local food truck vendors at the sugar mill location. We didn't have great timing with all the locations so the plantation was cut a bit short, unfortunately. I suggest kindly letting the group know at every stop what time we should return including and especially lunch. I think it would help a lot. I was very upset with a particular comment stating we needed to return to the van on time at the Plantation ("Right, ladies?') indicating the women in the group could not keep time. That was offensive.

Having travelled extensively in many countries, I’ve learned that a great guide can make all the difference between simply seeing a place and truly understanding it. Tyler Marsh was one of those guides. His knowledge of Oahu, Hawaiian culture, history, and local life was outstanding, but what really stood out was his ability to present it all in a relaxed, engaging, and entertaining way. He kept the entire group interested throughout a full day of touring and was always happy to answer questions. The scenery around Oahu is spectacular, but Tyler’s commentary, stories, and local insights added a dimension that we would never have experienced on our own. He was professional, friendly, punctual, and clearly passionate about sharing his island with visitors. This was one of the best guided tours we’ve taken in Hawaii. Highly recommended, and Tyler deserves every one of these five stars

This is a nice small group, so it is more efficient than larger bus tours. Our guide, Tyler, was born and raised on Oahu. He is very knowledgeable and entertaining! My 17 and 22 year old daughters really enjoyed this, and they are hard to please!

Our driver was Nevin, he was a bit late picking us up but this did not ruin our experience. Nevin is a great tour guide/driver. He was even willing to help us take photos and talk about life growing up in Hawaii.

Christine was very knowledgeable about the island. We covered a lot of ground. It would have been nice to stop at more north shore beaches, but time doesn’t allow for that.

It was a first class trip to North Shore of the island. Uncle Benny was so friendly and helpful. Full of knowledge about the area. He took us to the best spots to see the island’s natural beauty. A small group of 8 so that was very easy to keep us all together and it felt like a more initimate experience rather than en masse coach trip. Lunch was delicious at a restaurant he recommended and he took us to a quiet spot where we found a turtle resting on the beach. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable island tour with 10 people in a comfortable van with driver/tour guide named Tyler. He made it interesting, fact filled, and entertaining. Right balance of number of stops and length plus a wealth of information from a local is the best way to enjoy a tour. A polished guide aware of his audience and accommodating to their needs like asking about AC in the van, noise level, and comfort. A short 10 minute ride from the cruise Pier to a local hotel for pick up. Great for cruise passengers looking a way better option than the ship tours especially given the small group size and economics. Recommend highly - enjoy!

Did not follow the itinerary. We really wanted to stop in Haleiwa town as advertised but it did not happen. I suggest Viator get in touch with Daniel’s and advertise the accurate trip. Was a good way to get an idea of the island and see some highlights. Christine was very informative and knew a lot about the island.

Tour did not follow iternary. Disappointed. Tour guide was nice and where we did stop was nice. People in group treated the tour more like a taxi than a tour... may talked during the ride while guide was trying to share information of sites. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. I only saw review that mentioned this but it was an important review. Driver seemed completely shocked when brought to her attention. I will not recommend this trip until the iternary reflects the tour truthfully. Please do not make excuses regarding traffic or people did not adhere to time for stops... this would not be true.

The Small Group Excursion Provider (Daniels) charged extra for pickup, and Was late. The Company of Daniels (employees) were not on the same page, which made it difficult to advised my 14 Family members of instructions, payment and time of pickup. However, the Driver apologized, and was quite friendly, and cooperative to fulfilled contract set forth by Viator. There is much confusion within the Daniels' Office among the employees. This makes it difficult to do future business with them.

Time is an estimate. Be flexible and gracious. Do not get the pineapple whip where you stop for lunch, wait til you go to Dole. It is the best!

Over the years we have done this tour a few times and this was right up with them Tyler our guide was Knowledgeable and entertaining.would highly recommend.

I did it solo because my friends were at a conference and it was a great thing for me to do to see other parts of the island. It was very enjoyable!

This was amazing! especially for solo travelers who have a day or two extra and want to still get out beyond the main strip. The samples, the shops the locations, the information of history was immaculate! Our driver Tyler was absolutely the best and took great care of us! i wouldn’t want it any other way ❤️✨

Big waves on the North Shore are seasonal and unfortunately we didn’t go in the right season. The rest of the tour and our guide Nevin was great. Dole could have been skipped as it was too crowded and too short. My only complaint was they don’t pick up at the cruise port.

This was excellent and personal. There were three of us on the tour. All from Perth Western Australia so there was a connection already. The tour guide talked about being a local and his experiences growing up as well as his present family and the places they go to swim, snorkel and surf. He talked about the flora or lack thereof. He showed us Tommy the Turtle and friends. The differences between the geography/geology of the island and comparison with other islands in the Hawaiian Chain. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and I would recommend it to any tourist who wanted to see more then the beach at Waikiki.

The stops are spectacular views or touristy bathroom breaks. Both appreciated. The van is a little tight if full. Tyler did his best to provide a memorable trip.

This tour is great for first time visitors but this was not the tour I paid for. I booked the Small Group North Shore Circle Island Tour that included stops in Haleiwa Town and Giovanni Shrimp Truck which were mainly my interest since I’ve visited the other stops in my previous trips. I only found out that these were not included when the driver mentioned all the stops inside the coach when we were on our way. I showed the driver the itinerary of the tour I paid for and he apologized that he’s unable to accommodate us for those places since he’s doing the Oahu Circle Island Tour. I’m presuming that if there was not enough booking on the tour I paid for, Daniels Hawaii could have just cancelled it and refunded me so I can book with a different company that offered the tour instead of putting me on a different one which I’m not interested in. I’m really disappointed and feel like I’ve been ripped off and I think I’m entitled to a refund. On top of that I did not bring my water bottle coz the tour shows bottled water is included in the price but there was no bottled water in the bus. I’m never going to recommend Daniels Hawaii Tour to family and friends.
