The driver was knowledgeable, funny, and eager to share Hawaiian culture with us. We stopped at many places that he suggested and told us mythos and history of each location.
This was an excellent tour with so many beautiful scenic stops. Lono, our driver and guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and knew the best places to take pictures and was happy to take photos of our group. The food at the little cafe was excellent…a very tasty and filling snack. The temple was such an interesting stop. The grounds were spectacular. This tour packed a tremendous amount of fun into a shorter day. Don’t hesitate to book this one!!

A fantastic tour. We were picked up and dropped off from right outside our accommodation which saved some hassle, and pick-up was bang on time. Our guide Humu was friendly, funny, and shared stories and snippets of the history of the Hawaiian islands, both the good and the bad. The scenery was beautiful, there was a good selection of places we stopped at, and it was a nice smooth ride - speaking as someone prone to getting wretchedly car sick. Booking through this company in particular also means supporting a local Hawaiian business, which is important for those of us who are guests here in a land that has been and continues to be so heavily exploited by outsiders.
This tour is awesome and Aina is a great tour guide. The spots he took us to were amazing, and he provided really good context and history about Hawaii! Food was also amazing, and it’s even better that he’s a local business to support. You have to take this tour!!!!

We loved this tour. Aina has a wealth of knowledge being a local on the island. There were plenty of stops along the way and lots of information about each location and the whole island. Aina is passionate about everyone getting as much as they can out of the tour. There was plenty of time at each stop and breakfast and lunch stops at local venues. Our 5-hour 1/2 island tour with Aina Tours was absolutely great. Our driver, Humu Humu gave us the history of Hawaii dating back to even before Captain Cook. We have done dozens of tours in Hawaii, but he was the absolute best. Our tour included brunch along the way as well as admission to the Byodo Temple. We highly recommend this tour.
Tour guide Humu was great! Very knowledgeable about all of history and authentic culture of Hawaii!! The only thing I would suggest is offering a trip with an alternative to the Byodo Temple. It was not really of interest to us BUT the rest of the trip was fabulous!
Aina very kindly ran this tour when there were only 3 of us booked for the day. Great local tour guide (hilarious). Was great learning about the Hawaiian culture and seeing more of the island of O'ahu if you don't have a car. Very comfortable bus and great breakfast stop. As it was only a half day tour there was plenty of time for more sightseeing for the rest of the day. Would highly recommend.

This tour was the perfect and easy way for my mom and I to enjoy the scenic views of the island and ocean. Our guide took us to several beautiful ocean lookouts, and we also enjoyed the stop for a delicious kalua breakfast burrito at a local cafe. Visiting the Byodo-In temple and driving through the lush forest on the way back to Waikiki were also highlights of the tour.
It was an amazing tour! Our guide Justin was great and very informative about the whole area and cultural significance. Our whole family enjoyed the experience and the itinerary. Would book with them again! The views were great and food was delicious
This was a great experience. Despite the rain and one attraction being closed, it was still worth it. The education and history shared about Hawaii was awesome. The passengers on the ride was great company and our tour guide was so knowledgeable and funny(I forgot his name) but he was the best. He made sure we were accommodated with things to keep us dry from the rain so we can enjoy our trip. Would recommend!!

We waited at the pick up location at the time designated for a while and no pick up. It was raining yet no message before the tour or the morning of the tour from the tour operator. We ended up requesting a refund. Would not recommend this tour.

Thoroughly recommend this tour. Picked up from our hotel in a small mini bus, very early but this meant we could avoid a lot of rush hour traffic and saw the sun rise at the 1st stop. Stopped for breakfast at a lovely little café. Made a few more stops at places of interest the last being a trip to the beach to (possibly) see some turtles. I unfortunately didn’t but some people in the group did! Well worth the money and would definitely recommend.
Perfect 4 hr tour hitting highlights of all the spots I wanted to see on Oahu. Beauty and history all in one. Tour guide was a super cool native Hawaiian who shared personal experience and perspective and solid historical info that was very important and interesting. Highly recommend!
Tour was written as a pick up at the Disney Aulani Resort in Ko Olina at 9:00 AM. At 7:24 AM the morning of the tour we were notified that we would not be picked up at the resort but needed to get to a location in Waikiki (about an hour + drive from Aulani during rush hour. There was no way we could make that time so the driver said he would process the request to refund our $200 payment for this tour. The tour description was grossly misleading and we have not yet received any refund or apology from the tour operator. We accepted their advertisement of the tour in good faith and waited at the Aulani resort until getting a message asking if we were going.to be able to make it to the pick up point in Waikiki. No way.
I have visited Hawaii numerous times since 1996 and I can honestly say that this was the BEST tour I have ever taken! The guide was extremely personable and very knowledgeable about each stop. His engaging information and personable conversations truly added to the day. Additionally, he addressed each guest by name which really made the tour seem like more than just the routine experience. I will be recommending this tour to anyone I know that visits Oahu!
Aina was fantastic! A 6th generation local who shared so much with us during the stops and in between. He answered many of our questions and provided us with a list of favorite local eats. We spent just the right amount of time at each of the 6 stops and enjoyed a local breakfast burrito as well. Highly recommended!

This was hands down one of the best tours we’ve ever taken. We left early in the morning, avoided traffic entirely, and were able to truly enjoy each stop. Our guide was a local with an impressive knowledge of Hawaii’s history, culture, and hidden details. Although the tour followed a well-organized schedule, it never felt rushed. He allowed plenty of time at each location so we could fully take everything in. What truly set him apart was how personal the experience felt—he referred to everyone by name throughout the tour without ever having to ask, which immediately made the group feel welcomed and valued. Throughout the day, we saw other tour guides interacting with their groups, and the difference was obvious. None matched his level of engagement, professionalism, or genuine care for the visitors.
