The best tour guide, she was very knowledgeable about all the sites we stop at. I would recommend this company to everyone.

Guide was fantastic. Timely, full of knowledge about the location. We really enjoyed our tour. Would definitely book again.
Excellent private tour. Riley our tour guide was excellent. We went at our pace and enjoyed every minute.
Guide was on time , with a comfortable vehicle, knew the island landmarks and history, was a gracious host. Full of information and knowledge
We had a wonderful day exploring Pearl Harbor, Dole and the North Shore. Our guide, Riley, was sensational! She had tremendous knowledge of our stops and of Hawaii, in general! She was very enjoyable and accommodating to our requests!!
Noelani was our amazing tour guide! She was very friendly and informative. We learned so much from her!
Our guide, Riley, was top notch! There were 6 of us and we had ample room in the vehicle and were all impressed by the history that Riley shared with us. She made our trip to Pearl Harbor carefree and enjoyable, stopped at a great local restaurant for lunch and then drove us through the Punch Bowl. We would highly recommend this tour.
Block off a whole day to do this excursion! A great way to preserve the history and share the remembrance of the memorial with others.
Our tour guide, Riley, was fantastic. She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and accommodating. Highly recommend her company
Riley was an excellent guide. She was conscientious and adjusted our tour to my wife’s walking limitations due to arthritis. She was very knowledgeable and thorough with the information she shared about the events leading up to World War II and the significant details for the historic monuments we were going to see. We saw the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific first, visiting these national cemetery’s always makes me thankful that my Great Uncles who served made it back home, although they did carry emotional scars that troubled them throughout their lives. Visiting the Arizona was a very moving experience, thinking about the men who died there and the families that lost them made me both sorrowful and proud of the sacrifices that the American people made so that we are able to live the way we do today. I served in the Army National Guard, but never did anything close to what was asked of these men. The Battleship Missouri was an amazing piece of history. Walking the deck and standing on the same boards that were stood upon to end WWII was an honor. The tour through the crew quarters, dining facilities, and recreation areas, including a snack shop and library, of the ship amazed me. The commitment made to use precious space on a ship to have areas that brought a little bit of normality to the servicemen’s lives was unexpected. I have worked in food manufacturing for over 40 years and the equipment used in the kitchen areas would not look out of place in a modern processing facility. Obviously the guns, size and military might of the ship are awe inspiring. Sixteen inch guns that can fire a more than 2000lbs shell 26 miles every 30 seconds from 9 separate rifles and not move the ship because of the masterful recoil system is unimaginable for those of us who never experienced it. This is a private tour that I feel privileged to have gotten the opportunity to experience. There was much more to see and experience, I only touched the surface of the experience.
Noelani, our guide, was outstanding. She was friendly, pleasant to be with and very knowledgable. In addition to the Pearl Harbor tour, she gave us a quick tour of the other side of Oahu as well as several historical and cultural sites in downtown Honolulu/Waikiki.
Perfect setup for our group of three couples! Picked up and taken directly to Pearl Harbor, tickets to Arizona, then picked back up and taken around to Missouri. Then he was right there to whisk us back to our hotel. Driver was awesome and it made this incredible experience even better!
Had a great day with Noelani visiting Pearl Harbor and driving around the island. We weren’t able to visit the USS Arizona due to work being done at the memorial, but don’t miss the USS Missouri.
We had a great experience on this trip. The tour guide was very excellent. She gave us instructions on what to do once we got to the Arizona and how to catch the boat. She walked through the USS Missouri with us and really knew her details in explaining things to us on the tour. Afterwards, she took us on a great drive to see the other side of the mountains via the tunnels with a drive through of the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. We loved the whole experience. Our tour guide made us feel like VIPs.
Yolanda was fabulous! Tour exceptional and so knowledgeable. We were able to see so much in a six hours.
Waited more than three hours to do the one thing we wanted to do- see the Arizona and didn't get to do it.
Rich was very knowledgeable and able to explain every site. He offered helpful hints which made our visit more enjoyable. Our family especially enjoyed his personal tour of the Missouri Battleship but would have like more time there.
Amazing! Made this stress free; did not have to worry about tickets or logistics. Billy was so knowledgeable and interesting. Definitely worth every penny!
Fantastic day. Rich was a superb guide with a wide knowledge of Pearl Harbour and the USS Missouri. Would recommend this tour. Very well organised.
Appreciated the flexibility in scheduling with our guide (we started at 8am) and the earlier start meant no lines. Noelani gave us lots of great info o walking us around the USS Missouri and during our drives.
We chose a private tour because we had limited time, needed to get picked up at hotel with all of our luggage (incl golf bags) and dropped off at airport at end of tour. If we did it again, I would choose the same private tour and request the same tour guide! Viator was quick to respond to all my questions throughout the process of selection/booking/confirming. Our tour guide Noelani was exceptional! She arrived early, was extremely personable and had a beautiful comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van. Noelani was extremely knowledgeable about the history, site and is a native of Honolulu. Pearl Harbor, a National Historic Landmark, was so much more than we expected! Feelings of pride and sadness, as we honored the memories of soldiers who fought on the Pacific front of World War II. Ending our visit exploring the surrender deck of the USS Missouri Memorial, or “Mighty Mo," where the treaty ending WWII was formally signed (so cool). But it didn’t stop there. Noelani took us around the hillsides and town of Honolulu, pointing out landmarks along the way. She drove through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl crater – a beautiful veterans cemetery, pristine grounds and a sweeping view of Diamond Head to the glistening bays of Pearl Harbor. We can’t say enough about this experience. Thank you Viator and Noelani, we’ll never forget…
Billy Crowe was an outstanding tour guide. As a former park ranger and professional diver who has explored the USS Arizona, he brought unique insights that made the experience even more engaging. His deep knowledge never felt overwhelming—instead, he shared compelling stories and tailored the tour to our interests and questions. He also provided us insights into what to check out first and how we should position ourselves to avoid crowds at the different sites we toured. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and having a tour guide (especially one as great as Billy) was definitely worth it.
Yolanda did an amazing job guiding us thru our day. The USS Missouri and Arizona and Cemetary of the Pacific experiences were educational and awe inspiring for the sacrifices of our military personnel. Yolanda made our day extra special and was super knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
The private tour with Yolanda was wonderful and more than expected. However, the communication prior to the tour was nonexistent. Several attempts to reach Viatour went unanswered and we weren't sure we were going to picked up until a phone call at the last minute.
Excellent tour of the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Missouri, Punchbowl Crater, the National Cemetery. Noelani is one of the best tour guides that we have ever had the pleasure of touring with! She has a vast knowledge of local and military history, and did a great tour of Oahu and the major sites. Highly recommend a private tour with Noelani!
Would highly recommend this. Our tour guide was amazing. The sights and education was on point. We would do this again for sure
There was not enough time to do all the things that we were supposed to do. We were rushed and the guide was great. She rushed us and wasn’t prepared to accommodate our young granddaughter.
Visiting the Arizona memorial where so many of our sailors died. Have wanted to visit the memorial my whole life. My father and grandfather were World War II veterans..
Our guide Noelani was just awesome! She was very knowledgable, kept us on schedule and was flexible at the same time with what we wanted to do. We just adopted her into our Indiana family. The Bowfin is a must see along with Big Mo great to see how our service men and women lived onboard the ships. The Arizona is always something special to see!
The Pearl Harbor and USS Missouri were excellent and very interesting. What a way to learn about our history. We did those two all by ourselves. We were dropped off at Pearl Harbor by our guide - and took a small boat ride across to see the museum / memorial. Then when we came back we saw a 20 Minute move. It was excellent! We walked through 2 museums with Ph story and memorabilia. We met our tour guide outside and she took us to the USS Missouri. Again we were dropped off and got a tour by the USS Missouri. Our guide was not the best and talked to us like we were babies. I would have preferred the guide we paid for to give us the tour. We walked along the ship and saw where the treaty was signed, as well as other interesting things. Our private guide came on after the tour and gave us a tour of the lower level of the ship where the officers lived, and daily life activities were performed. We got back in the van( private tour so just the 2 of us) - went to the punch bowl cemetery and drove around. My disappointment with this tour was that our guide really was not that involved. I wish she would have done the whole tour instead of driving us and dropping us off. It never said in the description that she would not be our guide for the whole thing.
Shared information by tour guide-very knowledgeable and generous with her time. Would recommend going this tour for vip access and ease.
This is a really cool ship to visit if you have time. The size of it was impressive. You can pretty much visit every part of the ship, crew quarter, mess, control decks, guns, etc... Plan for at least an hour or more to do this right and not rush it. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our trip started with our amazing guide Noelani. The history, her knowledge and her passion was the best part of our trip to Pearl Harbor. Our tour of the Harbor was solemn, heartbreaking, and yet beautiful. Everyone from everywhere should get to experience this at least once. Our tour continued to the USS Missouri. Noelani helped our Mom pushing her around the ship in a wheelchair so she could share in the experience which also allowed my sister and I to be able to see and do things we wouldn’t have been able to do without her. Hands down I would recommend her and this tour any day, every day. The absolute best experience. Thank you Noelani.
Noelani was wonderful and shared her amazing families stories which really brought perspective to the Island culture. While she had to drop us off at the locations she briefed us on all we need to do when and how. Much more personal experience then a general tour bus but consider it more of a private driver than a private tour. Either way loved this event and would highly recommend.
I have always used Viator in the past and have always had five star service. This “private” tour is the worst tour that I have been on. We also had to wait while they shuttled some other people and put back in our two infant car seats. If you are traveling with small kids check ahead of time what you are permitted to bring. I don’t feel this tour is properly advertised.
Awesome and humbling experience. Everything was wonderfully coordinated with it! Highly recommended!
This was an amazing tour with our excellent guide Noelani. Her knowledge was very impressive. We learnt so much from her that we didn’t know and we are history buffs! The tour itself was wonderful and poignant and the length was perfect. Would definitely recommend this tour and guide.
Fantastic. The tour was super smooth. Noelani our guide was superb. Tina was marvelous for arranging all the meet up and pickup at AC HOTEL BY MARRIOTT. Please let them know. And be on time for pickup. Oh by the way regarding the visit on Arizona and Mo. Do not bring bags. Passports in side pockets. Handphones too. Camera no issue. Thats it. I really recommend this tour company. Seriously you cannot go wrong. And I was not wrong. By the way I had a massive gout attack the tour guide was very helpful and accomodating. We had a truly wonderful experience with Noelani. Oh also when she played the story about the ipod on the Japs attack and how it lead was a very educational history piece. Very long piece of history. Oh yes go to the Mo and hear what the Mo guide explains. Fantastic and wonderful trip. Thank you Tina and Noelani and staffs who arrange for us this tour and accomodate us despite 2 of us only. Thumbs up.
A visit to Pearl harbor and the USS Arizona would not be complete if you did not visit the USS Missouri located on Ford Island. Ford island used to be completely off limits to civilians, but has now opened up to allow visits to the USS Missouri and the aircraft museum located by the historical air tower that still stands. The island is still a working base, so the rest is off limits unless you have military credentials. Again I must visit to honor a place where world war 2 started iconic USS Arizona and the place where it ended on the deck of the USS Missouri.
This was a great tour. Our driver tour guide was very knowledgeable. Also a great driver. Wanted my great grandsons to understand this part of our history. Would recommend this tour
What a very insightful tour. It was neat to hear about the ship’s tours through its years of service and the monumental signing of the surrender from WWII. I highly recommend taking the 30 minute complimentary tour with a guide. The information they give is amazing.
Our tour guide Rich was so amazing and really made the tours exceptional. My husband is handicapped and uses a mobility scooter and he was so helpful with that by knowing the handicapped access areas. Rich was so knowledgeable about the Arizona and the Missouri and knew all the history. He even pointed out little things we had missed but were so interesting. This tour was the best thing we've done while in Honolulu.
Waited a long time to get back to do this trip and loved it! Our host guide Noelani was the best. On time, easy going, very knowledgeable and kind. ❤️ Definitely worth the private experience.
Scott’s parents live in Missouri - actually where we are from - which gave special meaning to his Engineering Tour of the USS Missouri battleship. Scott was knowledgeable, cared deeply about the subject matter, and helped us learn a lot about the ship and the lives of the engineers during the war. We enjoyed our afternoon more because we also experienced this tour, so thank you.
Noelani was amazing! From our pickup to drop-off, she took care of us ensuring we knew exactly what to do and where to go. We had a short weather delay seeing the Arizona that Noelani helped us through and got us back on track with ease. Felt very well taken care of the entire time. Thanks, Noelani for making our day in Honolulu so remarkable!
Noelina was our guide. She was awesome. She knows her island. We were so glad to have her guide us through the Pearl Harbor Memorials. So glad that we did a private tour. I highly recommend it.
The Missouri is so full of history . To know you walked where the Japanese surrendered and to see they lived and worked on the ship
Our private tour guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we were well taken care of. everything from our pick up to drop off was wonderful.
We had a wonderful experience and our tour guide was excellent. We did run into some issues with checking our bags, so please be mindful that there may be some wait time involved. Our guide was incredible helpful in resolving our issues with the bag check. The tour was very moving and not for everyone, but we enjoyed the history and the respectful memorial to our country's heroes.
Being on ships that had such a huge part in our being able to be a free country. Very emotional. The people were so nice helping us to know what we were seeing. Would go again and again
