This was an awesome experience in and of itself, but what made the event even better was the super friendly and accommodating staff. I was very nervous to get into the water, but the guide was really friendly and she talked me through until I calmed down. The entire crew was very observant and vigilant, making sure everybody was safe and accounted for as well as informing us of what was going on around us as far as the marine life is concerned. Highly recommended.

Chris our guide was amazing! She kept our private tour close and away from the crowded snorkelers. She knew where to go and find turtles away from the crowded groups. She was knowledgeable on the flora and fauna. Alex our captain was incredibly nice and called us twice to make sure we knew where to board. I loved the private tour and highly recommend it to anyone who loves turtles. The small group size really allows you to enjoy the experience.

Amazing and educational, this was a great time for the whole family. The length of the swim is just enough without getting too tired or hungry. We went out with Preston and Hollie and had an absolutely wonderful time. Hollie was a fabulous water guide and Preston was such a fun captain. And yes, we saw lots of turtles and fish! Hollie knew them all and even knew the turtles by name. For sure we’ll book with them again next time we visit Waikiki!

Best tour I booked all trip! Saw lots of turtles & fish snorkeling at the reef. Even got to see dolphins and whales on our way back into the harbor. 10/10 would recommend and definitely doing this again next time I am on Oahu.

Thank you to Island Splash Tours for an absolutely unforgettable experience snorkeling with the Hawaiian green sea turtles!! Our captain, Preston, gave our group of four a very thorough overview before we left, of what to expect, drinks available on board and provided us with well-fitted flippers, masks and snorkels. He introduced us to our guide Carlos, who was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor! We saw SO many turtles, at least 20, with several coming up to the surface for a closer look. Not to mention all the colorful fish! There were turtles of all different ages and sizes, mostly females. Throughout our time in the water, Carlos told us many fascinating details about these beautiful creatures. Since they are protected, we gave them at least 6-10 feet of space, so not to disturb them. He made sure we were all having a great time and safely lead us back to the boat. Then it was just a few short minutes back to the harbor. I highly recommend Island Splash Tours for a fun, authentic and informative encounter with Oahu’s graceful honu!!

Preston and Holly were simply amazing! We are a family of four with two kids ages 12 and 10 and it was only us and another mom and daughter on the tour. Holly was so knowledgeable about the reef, fish, and turtles, and she was in the water with us the entire time guiding us to the right spots. We saw tons of fish, and over a dozen turtles both on the surface and below. Holly even brought an urchin up from the bottom for us to hold! While we were expert snorklers, the other mom and daughter had never been before. Preston and Holly were so kind and accommodating to them to make their experience enjoyable. We spent an hour in the water and we had a wonderful time. We HIGHLY recommend you take this tour!

Our tour operators were welcoming, clear, professional and helpful. They were punctual, and called to check in the morning of the tour. We saw turtles and many fish. We learned some interesting information, too!

Island Splash Tours created a special morning adventure for our family. Alex and Preston made us feel safe while showing us humpback whales coming to the surface and getting us close to green turtles as we snorkeled on the reef. We also had a pod of spinner dolphins swim along with our boat. My granddaughter, son, daughter-in-law and myself will cherish our ocean adventure. This was our first trip to Honolulu and we wanted to experience snorkelling with the turtles. Captain Preston and Chris treated us to an amazing snorkel at Turtle Canyon. We saw so many turtles! Chris was very attentive and knowledgeable. It was a great experience compared to some of the other tour groups where you are tripping over each other. As an added bonus we took a bit of a detour after the snorkel and got to see humpback whales! I can't say enough great things about this tour! Truly the highlight of our vacation.

This was a great investment for our group of 4. Preston was super friendly and accommodating. He took us to the area that is used by all of the big snorkeling boats, so there were hundreds of people in the water in one place. However, Preston stopped a little bit away from the massive crowd, so there was some room to swim/snorkel freely. Hollie was an excellent assistant, doing everything from mooring the boat to assisting everyone in the water. After a bit, we all decided to go back on board for a short tour around the cove. Much to our delight, we encountered a huge pod of dolphins! One of the biggest I have ever seen, so we were thrilled to be able to have the capacity in a smaller boat to keep up with them and follow alongside. It was perfect!

We had a perfect morning with Preston and Hollie snorkeling and cruising around the ocean. Preston was calm, informative, and made sure all of us were comfortable and happy. Hollie was an excellent snorkel guide and made the first time snorkeling experience fantastic. We saw a turtle and a large pod of dolphins which was so cool. I would definitely book this over the large snorkel groups- it was a much better and private experience. One thing to note is the drop off address listed is quite far from the actual boarding dock. Rainbow Tower Hilton Lagoon is a better drop off point. Even though we ended up getting a bit lost finding the boat at first, Preston was available by phone and patient.

Captain Preston and Carlos were phenomenal hosts! One of my favorite parts of my trip. Would highly recommend them they made sure we saw everything we wanted to see while snorkeling. Highly recommend snorkeling with them!

Best snorkeling experience if you want to see turtles, lots of fish, and more. The boat crew was very friendly. The boat seats were comfortable. The view while riding the boat was also very nice. They know the good spots to see a variety of wildlife.

Snorkeling is a family favorite and we booked a tour with Island Splash Tours as part of a birthday celebration. It's was such an absolute pleasure going out with Captain Preston and Alex. We are in Hawaii fairly often and are looking forward to future tours with them. We really appreciated their knowledgeable approach to staying safe and making it fun for all of us. It was much more of a private experience compared to the tours we have taken on the larger boats and it made it all the more special. Everything from helping us select the best time of day to making sure everyone had a wonderful experience was done with such thoughtfulness and professionalism. A “little bird” even told Captain Preston about a family song that he made a point to play as we can back into the harbor. We all felt spoiled and we loved every moment of our tour. As a Navy family we also really appreciate the military discount he offers. Completely recommend Island Splash Tours to anyone thinking about a boat or snorkeling tour!!

Preston and Alex were wonderful. The views were beautiful, the smaller group made the tour more enjoyable and the boat was incredibly comfortable. Saw so many turtles and fish - will be coming back again!

My family and I booked this tour to go see some turtles. Amazing experience and you can’t beat the low price. But don’t let the price fool you. Extremely comfortable and nice boat. Boat looks brand new. Crew was amazing. Preston and Kris showed us a great time. We saw SO many turtles. Too many to count. If you’re looking for a private turtle snorkel tour in Waikiki book this now! Super close to all hotels in Waikiki. My family and I stayed at the Hale Koa and were able to walk to the boat. No car needed! I highly recommend. Hands down best tour we had on our vacation.

You can check around for other tours but you are wasting your time. These guys are the best. Don't let the lower price fool you. Not sure why they don't charge more but if you want essentially a private tour to the best spot to see the turtles book them now
