Private Tour: Ultimate Circle Island Tour Of Oahu

The tour was great. We hit all the spots listed and Justin was great and kept on schedule. He was very knowledgeable and presented it in a very enjoyable manner. He also added something special at Kalia Ranch and would point out numerous things along the way as they popped up. We also enjoyed the shrimp for lunch and the Dole Whip for dessert. The only negative thing was the stop at Turtle Beach. It was underwhelming especially because we could not utilize the beach chairs and there was nothing in the water to see while snorkeling.

The family had a great time. Damian was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites but also taught us a lot about surf culture, plants/agriculture, and hawaiin history. Since we were ahead of time he made some quick stop offs at some different water spots to talk about wave breaking and turtles. Also him playing the ukulele as we walked was a nice touch. Had a great time overall and the price was great. Especially since we did a couple tours with Hawaiin Pacific Adventures they gave us some great pricing.

Our tour guide Nevin was excellent and so informative. We not only viewed many beautiful sites around Oahu, but he told us many interesting historical stories and facts about the people and culture of Hawaii.

Justin was such a great guide. He was super informative about the history of the island and answered many silly questions we had and fully went along with the joking too. Super professional and we had a great time!! Thanks Justin for a great day!!!

We were picked up in a van that was comforatable for those in the front and middle but not for those in the back/last row. The speed bumps in some areas seem to be made to cause kidney damage. Ryan was an knowledgeable and funny tour guide. The overlooks we saw in the early part of the tour were great. While they did not provide any water, they did provide lunch at a local restaurant on the northern part of the island and the meal was good. The afternoon was visiting working farms but I would have preferred to see and learn more of the operations at the Dole and the cocoa/coffee farm rather than just stop at their stores to shop for trinkets. We did enjoy the tour and as it was mostly retired military, we didn't have the normal issues of people not being where they needed to be on time. The company did cover all the tickets and lunch as part of the fees, so while it was it was $160 per person, given the cost of everything, I do not think it was overly expensive and was worth doing and I would do it again with them.

As advertised. Roberto was knowledgeable and engaging. Lunch was good, hot and quick! Enjoyed the stops, especially the Japanese Temple. Would book them again.

Austin was a wonderful guide He adapted the day to meet our needs and we had a wonderful experience He provided lots of history of the island and interesting stories 10/10

Our guide did excellent job and we love him . The ticket price of $168 per person is pricy . I hope more stops can be added to the trip

My husband, Kok Liang, and I had an absolutely fantastic time on our recent tour with Hawaii Pacific Adventures!Justin picked us up from the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort at 6:30 AM with a huge smile and amazing energy. From that moment until we finished at 1:30 PM, he was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared wonderful, deeply informative insights about Pearl Harbor's history—offering unique stories, local perspectives, and lesser-known historical details that you simply cannot find in a history textbook. He also taught us so much about Hawaii's beaches, local food, fruits, and volcanoes like Diamond Head.What truly set Justin apart was how he effortlessly connected all 13 tour members on our bus. This was a great way to get an overview of the island when we had only 2 days to visit. Roberto was right on time, kind, fun and knowledgeable! We enjoyed our time with him tremendously! The van was small if you are a large person-but exceptionally clean and air conditioned. We had 10 people and enjoyed getting to know each other!The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the beach stop was a bit uncomfortable-it was part of a hotel and we didn’t know we weren’t allowed to use any of the chairs-we were given snorkeling equipment, but it was impossible to snorkel at that beach-no visibility and it would have been unsafe to move out further-Roberto had dropped us off for that one experience-so we had no one to clarify questions/concerns with. Still a lovely day and perfect for what we needed-if we had more time it helped us clarify future places we would visit..

First time in Hawaii for most of us, and this tour was perfect!! Beautiful sights, terrific food, and fabulous guide - Justin was amazing, funny knowledgeable and accommodating!!! Highly recommend this tour with Hawaii Pacific Adventures!

This tour was absolutely wonderful. We could not have had a better tour guide Austin, who not only provided the history and knowledge of all of the area, but participated in all the stops, making sure that we had the best experience as well as taking photos almost every stop so that we had memories to return home. We all agreed that this was the best tour that we had ever went on and I plan to bring my family back in June and will plan to experience the same circle island tour using Hawaii Pacific adventures and would like to have Austin as our tour guide!!

Justin was a fabulous guide. He is a great story teller and brought the history to like. He encouraged question and was very knowledgeable about Hawaii history.

We originally intended to rent a car and do our own tour. Ii was also looking at another popular site. Then I ran across a reel on Instagram and decided to take a risk since they offered a private tour and it seemed like less of a hassle than trying to visit the north shore on our own or going on one of those huge busses. It was seriously the best decision of our trip. We did the private circle Island tour. Justin picked us up right in front of our hotel, exactly as promised. He took us to all the lookout points, talked about everything we saw along the way he was super funny and engaging. There was no way that we could’ve come up with all that information on our own, he was so knowledgeable. We mentioned malasadas and Justin took us to a Leonard’s truck on the way. We wanted shaved ice and he added a stop at Matsumoto’s. He took us to a great eating spot where we had a great haupia pie, loco loco, kalbi and delicious shrimp at Ted’s Bakery. Nothing was skipped. He found a way to squeeze everything in. Yay Justin! The van was a sprinter Mercedes van that he kept cool for us the entire time. The kids enjoyed it just as much as the adults. Justin made sure everybody felt included. He made sure to take group pics and took a hilarious dinosaur pic. It was literally the best day of our trip. The price was totally worth us not having to deal with all the stops and the scary roads that we are not used to driving. I would totally do a private tour again. I should also mention that I reached out a few times to ask questions about the itinerary and each time, they responded within 30 min. That’s great customer service! Don’t hesitate, book it. I have to admit that when I was reading the reviews I thought to myself, they can’t all be that great, but here I am, taking the time to write a review because they really are that good! Book the tour!

At first we were thinking it’s just like all the other tours, but we thought wrong. The experience with Justin was amazing, very knowledgeable. We learned more than what we were thinking we were gonna learn. All I can say is Justin is the man. Good guide I highly recommend him. He worked with us. He was very knowledgeable so many things. He also was up on current events ( the World Cup) and was do entertaining. There were many stops and explanations about what we were seeing.

We had a wonderful trip to the North Shore with Leo. He was a great guide, sharing insights about local culture and was very flexible and accommodating to make sure we were able to do all the things most important to us. The highlight of the trip was the visit to Waimea falls! The botanical garden was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming under the falls. I would definitely use Hawaiian Pacific Adventures in the future!

Great tour with Justin as our guide. He was very knowledgeable of WW II history as well as Hawaiian history. He kept us on track with time and was respectful and helpful to my husband and I as the walking and heat was getting to us. My grandsons,14 and 11 enjoyed their educational experience.

The best tour of Oahu I could have hoped for. This is a family run tour group and the aim to please on every level is evident. Austin has a rare talent of making every one in the van feel like they are the most important. Island information was presented in an informative tone and not in the typical monotone drone of a disinterested bus driver. Vans were clean and air conditioned. I will take this tour again. These guys are good and know their stuff.

If it were possible, we would have taken our guide Austin with us for the full two weeks and three islands we were traveling. That’s how fantastic he was. We truly cannot say enough good things about him. Starting from the beginning, he was prompt and picked us up from our hotel which was great. Immediately he warned us that there was traffic on the island that could impact us later in the day and was so flexible on what we wanted to do. He not only hit the major spots to see on the island, but showed us some local, off the beaten path areas that were fantastic. He was a wealth of knowledge about the history of the island, the culture and language. Our group of 14 had an incredible experience touring Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri with Hawaii Pacific Adventures and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Justin! From start to finish Justin was so knowledgeable making sure everyone in our group had a great experience. Austin and Justin were the best guides. Very personal able and alot of fun. We toured USS Arizona, USSBowfin, USS Missouri and the aviation museum. The we went downtown to drive past the palace. The guys were so full of interesting facts. Even how to catch a small octopus and how to bite the head!!!! I would highly recommend Hawaii Pacific Adventures to anyone on Oahu. Carly gave us a great tour. She was very knowledgeable about Pearl Harbor and it's history. She got us off to the Arizona tour informed and then added to our tour on the Missouri. She took us to the Punchbowl and the Ioloni Palace and King Kamehameha statue. She kept the conversation interesting, she was a safe driver and quite simply delightful to spend time with.

Our North Shore excursion was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Oʻahu! We packed so much into one day and got to experience parts of the island that we never would have seen on our own. The day started with an unexpected stop at Pali Lookout. We had tried to visit the day before, but the weather was terrible. When Roberto heard we had missed out, he told us it was no problem and made sure we got to see it. The views were absolutely breathtaking and such a special way to start the day. From there, we headed to Green World Coffee Farm, where we enjoyed some delicious local coffee and beautiful scenery. We then kayaked along the Haleiwa River, which was peaceful and relaxing, with the bonus of spotting a few turtles along the way. We also visited a macadamia nut farm and made our way to Turtle Beach, where we were lucky enough to see sea turtles up close in their natural habitat. One of my favorite parts of the day was stopping at the Big Wave food truck. The food was amazing, and it's definitely a stop you don't want to miss! We wrapped up the adventure at the Dole Plantation, where we finally got to try the famous Dole Whip. A huge thank you to Roberto for making the day so memorable. He shared so much interesting information about Oʻahu's history, culture, and everyday life. I especially loved hearing the additional stories and insights about Pearl Harbor. His knowledge and personal experiences gave us a much deeper appreciation for the island. If you're visiting Oʻahu and want to see more than just the typical tourist spots, I highly recommend this excursion. It was the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, local food, and Hawaiian history, and it gave us memories we'll never forget.

Our 19-member family had an amazing time on our Small Group All Inclusive Circle Island Tour. At our first stop, one of our family members collapsed. Our guide, Nevin, remained calm and reassuring as he called 911. He insisted on remaining with us until the ambulance arrived. The medics felt that my son should be seen at the emergency room, so I remained with my son, while the other 17 members completed the tour. All of them assured me that this tour was fabulous. They argued which group had THE BEST guide, Roberto or Nevin. My son was severely dehydrated and after receiving a liter of IV fluids and was discharged from the hospital. PSA - always stay hydrated with water, not sports drinks, while traveling!

Austin was fabulous! So knowledgeable and he was so accommodating. It was so well planned out. We went to Pearl Harbor and the USS Missouri. Private bus was great for our large family.
