I had such an incredible experience with Hawaii Adventure Diving! My friends and I went snorkeling with Galapagos sharks, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the entire experience. I was SUPER nervous going into it. This was my first time being out in open water like that, and I’ve always been terrified of sharks. But our guides, Lauren, Megan, and Terry, were absolutely amazing. You can immediately tell how passionate they are about the ocean and about educating people rather than just taking them out on an excursion. They explained everything so clearly, answered our questions, and made me feel safe and comfortable enough to actually get into the water. Once I did, I’m so glad I pushed past my fear! We saw so many sharks, and instead of being terrified, I was completely in awe. This experience genuinely changed the way I see sharks and the ocean. It was one of those experiences I know I’ll remember forever. I already can’t wait to come back to Hawaii and do more dives with this amazing crew. Unreal close encounter with sharks! We had a group of just 5 of us. So we each had a lot of personal interaction with the sharks. They got pretty close. The guides were great and made us feel comfortable around them. They really just seemed curious. Got a little sea sick. The boat crew expected as much as they take you in deep waters. Highly recommend this tour!!

Absolutely amazing trip. The crew was awesome. We had two large tiger sharks, some smaller sharks, and a barracuda with us the whole time we were in the water. Our cameraman took amazing photos and because it was a small group only our family was in them. I would recommend this small group tour over all the others.

I had the most amazing time with Hawaii Adventure Diving, It took me a while to get used to the snorkel and they were incredibly patient and kind to me, even gave me extra time at the end when there were only 3 minutes left so I could see the sharks, I got seasick and they were also so kind and giving me tips on how to overcome the seasickness. I will never forget this experience and this crew made it all possible. I’m forever grateful to them to be able to have had this experience. Not once did I feel unsafe or cared for. True professionals who know what they’re doing and are truly passionate in what they are doing as well. 100% recommend. I love seeing the sharks, I love sharks, it was an unreal experience. This two-hour excursion was one of the highlights of our Oahu trip. The guides were absolutely amazing, Stacy, &Terry — one of the best underwater professional photographers out there and Caption Ronnie! They were all incredibly informative, knowledgeable and passionate about sharing facts about the sharks and ocean ecosystem. From start to finish, I felt completely safe thanks to their professionalism, support in & out of the water. They made the experience educational, exciting, and truly memorable for a great price, & easy to find. I Highly recommended for anyone seeking an adrenaline-filled adventure with peace of mind. We had a great time! It was fantastic! We rode with Annika, Terry and Kevin for our group of 6 divers. I felt like we received a great amount of personal attention. My wife was very apprehensive about getting in the water, but the staff were all very encouraging and supportive of her and she ended up getting in and loving it. We felt like we were in good hands with our tour guides. Terry took us out each individually away from the rope and helped us dive down with the sharks and took excellent underwater photos. Annika is very knowledgeable about the marine life and did a great job, explaining the habits and expected outcomes with the sharks.

My kids will never forget swimming with 12-20ft tiger sharks in the open ocean without a cage. So exhilarating.

Great experience. Crew were nice, but not outstanding. Some conversation but 2 out of 3 looked like they didn’t really want to be there. Guy in the water with us was full of knowledge and we did feel safe with him. Full experience was less than two hours.

This was one of the best experiences! The staff was very helpful, supportive, and fun and made you feel comfortable and safe entering the water! Our group was lucky enough to see over 20 sharks on our dive which is rare! The picture package is definitely worth purchasing as our pictures turned out phenomenal and captured the experience! We’ll definitely be back when we get the opportunity!

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. The captain and dive master were incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel safe and well taken care of the entire time. Special shoutout to Terry, who is an amazing photographer—he can truly make anything happen and capture it beautifully. I might not be the best diver, but somehow the photos still turned out incredible (lol). Highly recommend this team!

If you want a great friendly staff, amazing photos, and epic shark encounters. Hawaii Adventure Diving is the company to go with. They take the safety of every diver and the sharks serious. Spend the extra money and get the phot package. You won't be disappointed. Terry is an amazing photographer and safety diver. He made sure to take each diver on a dive to get them amazing photos. We will be back to for more dives with Hawaii Adventure Diving and Terry.

We had the absolute best experience with Hawaii Adventure Diving! Stacy our guide and Sammy taking photos are seriously the best!! My husband, myself and our children ages 14,11&9 all did it and loved every minute. The kids did so great. Stacy and Sammy made the experience so awesome. It is never something we would recommend everyone doing!

Just went out with hawai’i adventure diving and it was a blast. stacy the captain made sure we were informed of all the safety procedures and made the ride out great. nick the safety diver taught us all about sharks and helped to make me feel comfortable in the water. sammy the photographer got us great personalized pictures in the ocean. overall an incredible time, would highly recommend to anyone visiting north shore!

Had an awesome time on the shark dive. Nick did a great job explaining everything and keeping the sharks at a safe distance. Sammy is a great photographer and has very reasonable prices. Stacy explained all the equipment and safety measures well. Definitely recommend the dive

Nick was very knowledgeable and I felt very safe. There was a really cool picture option for $85 and Stacey did a great job explaining safety and making us feel comfortable.

We were only 4 plus one safety diver ( Anika) and one photographer (Danny) plus our boat driver. Although the swell in October in the north shore was quite bad during this time of the year, it was still tiger shark season so we were lucky enough to spot us a 12 foot tiger and about 28 Galapagos sharks. My partner and I took advantage of our photographer and got amazing photos within a week of our dive. We did not want to pull out our 360 given the chaotic conditions so it was perfect having Danny there to capture the experience for us. Thank you for the amazing and educational experience. We will definitely dive with you guys again! 🦈🤿

The crew was so chill, friendly, calming and knowledgeable. We felt completely safe and at ease. Following their instructions, we were able to experience a 12 foot tiger shark for 40 magical minutes and got epic footage of the shark and each other for memories. Worth every penny!

Snorkel of a lifetime with tiger sharks led by Captain Stacy and shark expert Annika! We had the privilege of experiencing Tiger sharks in the open ocean with a total of six snorkelers. We could tell from the start that this crew loved what they do, the sharks that they encounter, and providing passengers with a safe, intimate, and unforgettable experience. It was one of the top highlights of our trip to Oahu! We are divers and have experienced sharks before but to be lucky enough to experience tiger sharks this close up was phenomenal. We felt safe, well taken care of, and more than satisfied. We would recommend to anyone that was thinking about doing something like this to choose this company. They are hands down the best! The owner was even out in the water with us and they had a photographer available so you could purchase pictures of you wanted them. Don’t miss out!

This was an AMAZING experience of a lifetime...An unforgettable mother- daughter outing! I would not describe myself as an adventurous individual but this opportunity was too good to pass. The team was exceptional, incredibly knowledgeable and at all times prioritized our safety. Although this was my first time and I was a bit nervous, I felt 100% confident with the team. At all times, Stacy, Nick and Terry were available for anything needed. I truly appreciate that the max number of guests is 6, thus providing more safety for the participants. My daughter recently moved to Hawaii, we agreed outings with Hawaii Adventure Diving would be a new tradition with us. Thank you Hawaii Adventure Diving team, you are in a league of your own and a model for others.

This tour has been absolutely incredible! Its only a short boat ride from the North Shore of Oahu. The crew was super professional, caring, funny and we felt super safe the whole time, in and outside the water. The safety diver as well as the photographer gave us all a very comfortable feeling around the sharks. And the photos which Danny and David take of the guests are truly amazing! Its only a group of max 6 people which gives every person enough time for individual photos under water. We've seen 11 Galapagos Sharks that day, but I would love to come back when its Tigershark season. Thank you again for this great experience! I'm so glad we went!

This is absolutely excellent, the safety instruction was excellent and made us feel very comfortable. It was really wonderful to see a variety of different sharks in the water. The team was excellent about pointing out manta rays and dolphins when they popped up in our area as well so we could see a variety of life. Highly highly recommend coming and diving with Hawaii adventure diving!!

First, let me say this was the highlight of my trip to Hawaii. My family and I were looking forward to this and it did not disappoint. The crew and the experience itself was the best thing we’ve ever done.. That being said, I paid full price for a family of five to go on a private shark dive for six people. I paid for all six spots on the trip, when we arrived, we found out an additional swimmer on our boat. I paid for six and we are a family of five. No one reached out to me to let me know they had booked an additional person, no one refunded Any money needless to say we were a little disappointed. When you pay full price for a family of five to be on a private short dive, you expect a private shark dive. I paid three times the amount for pictures than the additional person, we received 143 and he was in 70 of them.. I would highly recommend this trip, but if you think it’s only going to be just your family, your wrong. Make sure of this before you book!

It has taken me some time to write this review. It was both one of the best tours that I have ever participated in and also one that I question, from a safety perspective, if we should have been out on the water due to weather. We were a party of 4 (two participants cancelled) that left myself, wife and two 21 year old daughters. Launched out of Haleiwa harbor Wednesday 27 December for the 11 AM tour. Very high sea state. Probably Beaufort scale sea state (SS) 6 or WMO SS 5. The cage shark tours were cancelling (very high sea swell) but we were assured that we would find a place to snorkel in a more benign sea state to enjoy the sharks. The transit to the swim area was rough. Very rough. I knew my wife, after about 5 minutes underway, was not exiting the boat. My 2 daughters and I decided to get take the plunge (wife said no thanks). My 1 daughter lasted about 4 minutes, the ships captain saw she was panicking due to the very high sea swell, (10- 12 feet?) and brought her back aboard. My other daughter and I lasted about 20 minutes. It was more of a hold on for dear life with the safety rope rather than a snorkel. It was very difficult getting back on the boat. The crew was amazing. Ro, Annika and Sammy are professionals, but I do wonder if they should have cancelled the tour due to sea state. Even considering the conditions, they were focused on us having the experience. With regard to the experience, it is an experience we will never forget and a story we will retell for years. Having been dragged through the ocean holding on to the safety rope, I will tell you that you need to be ready for a workout!!!! I would definitely like to do this again when the conditions are more aligned with the conditions/pictures that are per the advertising. The the sharks were amazing. And there were a lot of sharks. Check the weather and be careful!!! If I was the tour operator, I would establish published objective criteria for a go-no-go decision for the tour to happen. And make it available to the potential customer base. It was an amazing experience!! But be sure it is for the right reasons!!!!

Great viewing. Crew was knowledgeable, capable and very pleasant. Was set as a 2 hour event but we were only 1.5 hours. That said, was a great experience. Those Tiger Shark rock!

Best diving experience to date. A truly peaceful experience free diving with Tiger Sharks. We were lucky and had three different female Tiger Sharks join us! The team is professional, safe, and ensures a fun time. We will be back!
