Private Intro Or Refresher Dive Kaanapali

I can’t recommend Austin highly enough. He was our scuba-diving instructor in Hawaii, and he made our experience underwater nothing short of amazing. My brother and I were complete novices, and Austin taught us with such patience and good humour that we felt comfortable and confident from the beginning. He explained everything step by step, checked in with us constantly, and never made us feel rushed. The discovery sessions were absolutely fantastic. Austin was clearly passionate about what he does, and that energy was contagious. He took us to some truly great spots, and it was obvious that he has an exceptional eye for finding the right location at the right time to turn a dive into a memorable experience. And the marine life! We saw tons of turtles gliding around us, a family of stingrays, and even the silhouette of a baby shark passing in the distance. Moments like these are what every diver hopes for, and Austin made sure we were in the right place to see them. His professionalism really stood out. Austin recommended the best time of day to dive to maximise our chances of seeing great marine life, and when the weather shifted, he adjusted the timing without hesitation so that we would get the best possible viewing conditions. That kind of care, judgement and flexibility shows a real commitment to safety and to giving guests the best experience possible. Thank you, Austin, for such a fantastic experience. I booked an intro dive for my wife and I today as two non-certified divers in Kaanapali. The instructors were amazing! Knowledgeable and serious about safety but very friendly and funny. We got personalized, thorough instruction and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. I couldn't recommend them more and we can't wait to go back!

What a great experience. I co-ordinated with Ty who was friendly and helpful. Then my dives were with Austin. My first dive i was rusty as I had not been for a while, but it was a good experience as it was my child's intro dive. The second dive I was smooth again and what a magnificent dive. Dozens of turtles, stunning reef and endless variety of sea life. Austin is a cool guy and was calm, experienced and also helpful. Would recommend this outfit to anyone looking to dive in Maui. Would also recommend Maui!

Had a great time on a couple dives with Sam. We dove Airport Beach and the Mala Wharf. Saw a lot of sea life including white tipped reef sharks, turtles, rays, eels and all kinds of fish. He was super chill and easy to get along with. Very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions we had. The gear worked great as well. Highly recommend Sam and In2Scuba, they were great communicators and the paperwork and scheduling was a breeze. Thank You!

Ty was great! You could tell safety mattered. He was patient and thorough with the dry land lesson and practice getting familiar with the gear. Once we hit the water, we felt prepped and ready to go. The actual dive was amazing! We 100% recommend Ty for your next scuba trip.

We have been snorkeling/free diving on Maui since 1990. I was afraid to try scuba diving because I felt more in control of my breathing with a snorkel. My adult children talked me into taking a chance on scuba and we book our intro course with In2Scuba. Wow! what an excellent experience we had with Ty from the moment we met him. He explained everything clearly and I was surprised by how comfortable he made us feel. He truly sets the tone to the level of experience of the group, and we couldn't get enough, our time flew by as we were so engaged and comfortable under the water. Me and my daughter went for some amazing dives. We were very good taken care of and the sea life was truly fantastic. We both loved it.

Our guide for our dive that I booked for me and my husband on our 20 year anniversary was a no show. When I finally got a hold of him, he said he had a head injury. He sounded like he was hung over. We booked our trip months ago. F you trip advisor and f you scuba company. This was supposed to be the highlight of our trip and instead we drove and waited hours for nothing.

We did a great dive along the Warf with Kevin as our guide. It was awesome and we saw so many things, including turtles at the "cleaning station" and 3 whitetail reef sharks. We had so much fun that we booked another night dive the next day and had a blast on that one too!

This was my daughters (age 11) first experience with SCUBA diving. Mike (her instructor) was fantastic! He was very thorough covering all the required skills. He communicated this perfectly for my daughter to grasp and understand. Mike made it fun and not intimidating. It was a great experience and I highly recommend In2SCUBA in Maui. GREAT JOB Mike! Best dive in Maui baby beach. Instructors were phenomenal pointing out the everything and assisting everyone to have a great dive.

Absolutely fantastic. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Kevin was our instructor and was warm, knowledgeable, helpful, and very fun. Teen kids loved it. They took us to an amazing spot that was easy for beginners, on a beautiful beach, but was also great diving. Would give more than 5 stars if it were an option. Highly recommended!

My family did a total of three dives with Mike and Kevin during our weeklong Maui trip in January 2023. The last dive we added on at the last minute because we had such an awesome time on the first two. We can’t thank In2Scuba enough, Mike and Kevin especially!! They were such fantastic guides and made the entire experience so much fun! Both of them had a great sense of humor and were clearly diving experts- we felt very safe with them. And my gosh, the diving was incredible! Mike and Kevin knew the best spots for the specific surf conditions while we were there, and man did they deliver- octopi, turtles, sharks, and eels were some of the highlights. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to In2Scuba again (and requesting Mike and Kevin) next time we’re in Maui! Thanks a bunch, Mike and Kevin!

This was the first dive ever for my husband and I. Mike, our instructor took such good care of us and helped me overcome the anxiety I was feeling about going under - and we did it! It was such a cool experience and I’m so glad we went with this company. Great instructor and helped calm my beginner nerves!

I was terrified at first to go scuba diving for the first time… The instructors prep class helped my anxiety under water. All of the instructors were extremely friendly and made my experience enjoyable!! Going scuba diving felt like I was diving into an aquarium and I was a fish. It felt like I was on a different planet! I saw 4 sea turtles and multiple colorful fish! This is a MUST do!! I would recommend IN2SCUBA highly! An amazing group that will make memories last forever!!

Had an exceptional time with Mike who got us back in the water after a 10 year hiatus. Great shore dive off Mala Wharf. Saw 10+ turtles, some sharks and tonnes of fish. Mike made us feel extremely comfortable getting back into our gear and in the water, after which we had a fantastic dive. He explained the itinerary exactly as it happened and is cool and calm demeanour were just what we needed!!!

Went on the introductory dive with Mike and it was excellent. We went with new and experienced divers and everyone enjoyed it. Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful with the new divers and helped everyone feel safe and ready to go. He was laid back which made the younger ones feel more at ease and made everyone laugh.

Our family of five had an incredible time diving with Mike and Ethan! The adults in our group are certified divers, and the kids (ages 10, 12 and 13) wanted to give it a try, and they had an amazing experience. Mike is a talented teacher. I learned so much practical information from him during his 30-minute tutorial; it was great to have the refresher course. Mike and Ethan helped our kids feel super comfortable with the gear and were awesome guides under water. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The small group size was fantastic. This was a great way to get a refresher! Mike and Ethan did a great job, and were very informative.

Ethan and Mike are absolutely the best. Treated you like family. Never felt more welcomed. Very experienced duo. Very clear with instructions and really give you hands on attention. They never leave your side and really showed us a outstanding time. If you going to dive In2Scuba is the way go. I will never go with anyone else.

This was really such a wonderful experience! My husband, who is a certified diver but hadn't done a dive in almost ten years, REALLY wanted to do a dive while we were in Maui. Our private lesson with Kasia turned out to be totally perfect for both of us! My husband was able to get back into gear right away, while Kasia worked a little more closely with me. On the reef part of our excursion, I was a little bit nervous (scuba is definitely not super easy!), but Kasia held onto my air gauge and really was a huge help. The day after our lesson, Kasia took my husband an additional, more advanced dive which he LOVED! For others who do a refresher course with In2Scuba, definitely ask about other dives they might be offering as well. You won't regret it!

This was a great family experience. Highly Recommend. 6 of us in varying ranges of experience from never scuba dived to certified and all of us walked away with great training which lead to great confidence in and under the water and enjoyment at 25 feet below the surface. Thank you.

What an incredible experience!!! Ethan was a wonderful teacher and so patient. This was the first time my sister and I ever tried scuba diving and I highly recommend!

Ty was awesome to work with! He was responsive and communicative when scheduling. He also was very up front about conditions in the locations we wanted to dive as some were not ideal due to the weather. He took the time to introduce us to all of our new personal dive equipment and helped us set it up. I am a new diver so Ty went back to the basics with me and did a complete refresher course even though we didn't ask for one. He took his time in the water and made our dive experience extraordinary. Any time in Maui we will dive with In2Scuba and highly recommend to anyone else wanting to dive.
