Our Half-day Road to Hana tour with Stacey was awesome! She was a wealth of knowledge, providing us with interesting information about Hawaiian history and culture, flora and fauna, and everything in between. She was smart, friendly and fun! Because of her expert driving abilities and knowledge of every twist and turn, we were able to relax and enjoy the ride without worrying about the challenging road. This is the best way to experience the Road to Hana!

It would be a mistake not to take this excursion. Our tour guide, Danielle, was amazing, energetic, informative, and an excellent driver. Our favorite part of the tour was the Bamboo Forest but it was all magical and beautiful. You will not be disappointed. Ask for Danielle. She’s the BEST!

Dayanidhi was an amazing guide! If you have kids he’s incredible with them! He was so informative and kind hearted and a great driver. Recently returned from a Maui family vacation and booked the half day road to Hana trip. The day was absolutely magical and our guide Cody was magnificent and so informative during the entire trip. He even went on and above with other details, snacks and drinks. The waterfall swimming was the best. After we returned home our ten year old grandson mentioned it was his favorite part of the vacation. Thank you Cody for a magical experience!!!

We were met by our guide Nichole at the Lowe’s in Kahului. Nichole was very informative concerning the trees the origins of Hawaii and everything in between! I highly recommend this half day to Hana tour! Nichole was a great driver, knowledgeable and a pure delight, we enjoyed every minute of our time with her! I strongly recommend this tour company

We did the Half Road to Hana and Haleakala Sunset with the Magic of Maui Experience. Stacey was our personal guide and she was absolutely fantastic!! So knowledgeable about the area from black sand beaches to rainbow eucalyptus trees to waterfalls to turtles and banana bread. Yummy! And the sunset was absolutely beautiful!! I was looking for something exciting & different from normal tour groups that might appeal to my granddaughter when I came across this particular excursion. We were not disappointed, loved the private personal tour. Our tour guide, Stacey, was fabulous, she was very informative and knowledgeable pointing out cultural and historical facts as we journeyed up the winding road on our 1/2 day tour “ Road to Hana” (The Magic of Maui Experience). The sights were breathtaking, from turtles, to black sand beaches, to seashores, colorful foliage, humongous rainbow eucalyptus tree, cascading waterfalls it was incredible. Definitely recommend, this private excursion, you will not be disappointed.

Such a relaxing tour! We had Danielle as a guide. Such a nice person, she genuinely cared about the things we wanted to see and do. She had snacks, drinks and towels for us. Making it that much less I had to bring. We stopped at several locations and we swam in the waterfalls. I didn’t have to deal with parking 😎

This private tour was one of the best things we did while visiting the islands. Danielle was amazing at listening to and creating an experience that fit us perfectly. If you are on the fence, go for it! Worth every single penny!

We were a group of ten and were very comfortable in the two Sienna vans. Journee and Jackie were our guides and did an excellent job. For young adults, their knowledge of the island and the areas we visited was amazing. Their driving abilities were second to none on the winding Road to Hana. It was truly an excellent day that was enjoyed by all!

Even though the Road to Hana was only partially open - Jackie still delivered a FANTASTIC tour. She was so knowledgeable & a VERY good driver. We had a blast! Dana was so kind to refund a portion of our tour, as we had booked the full day. 100% recommend!!

We did the Half Road to Hana and Haleakalā Sunset. Robin and Stacey were our guides and we couldn't have asked for better guides along the Road to Hana and the Sunset tour. I would highly recommend anyone to do this tour with Magic of Maui!

Had a great experience during our private tour. My mom is 86 and was able to enjoy the tour at our pace. So thankful that we had a driver that knew the roads and how to safely drive them. No way I would have done it myself.

David was a great guide! Conditions hadn’t been the best but he was a confident and very capable driver! Stopped at all the places we wanted. Had a lot of knowledge and a very subtle sense of humor!

This was a wonderful experience that I felt was best enjoyed with someone else driving. Our driver Journee was an excellent driver and tour guide. She even knew of a "secret" spot that she took us to. We saw beautiful waterfalls and huge turtles along with gorgeous scenery. I highly recommend this company. I'll start out by saying, "Awesome". Yvonne was our tour guide and was wonderful, knowledgeable, and respectful. She, and the beauty of Maui, made this the best day ever. Yvonne took us on a drive I wouldn't have dared to do on my own. She explained the history of the area as well as the fauna. She told many delightful stories of her experiences there. She took us to local eateries to get banana bread and local food. She had snacks, bug spray, suntan lotion, water, towels, etc. The van was nice and clean, and comfortable. She also took great pictures for us. I highly recommend Magic of Maui for your Road to Hana experience.

We did the Halfway to Hana tour and it was absolutely incredible! Our guide, Tea, made the entire experience unforgettable. She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and fun — sharing stories, history, and local insights along the way that really brought the island to life. The scenery was breathtaking — lush rainforests, waterfalls, ocean views, and tropical plants everywhere. Tea knew all the best spots to stop for photos and sightseeing. We never felt rushed and got to enjoy each stop, including a few hidden gems we never would have found on our own. Even going just halfway, it felt like the perfect amount of adventure and relaxation. We came away with amazing memories and a true appreciation for Maui’s beauty and culture. Highly recommend this tour and especially Tea — she made the day so special!

Half-day to Hana was awesome with our tour guide Te'a! This private tour allowed us to make many suggested stops along the way, but Te'a also asked us what we would like to see so that the tour would be personally tailored to our preferences. She was well supplied with drinks and snacks, which we enjoyed. We ended our great day with a sunset view at the top of Haleakala volcano with provided warm jackets and hot cocoa! Highly recommend!

Road to Hana Lite was a highlight of our Hawaiian vacation! Stacey was fantastic! She entertained us with local history and customs. She made sure we saw beautiful scenery and made many stops along the way. She took numerous pictures for us, answered all of our questions and even provided snacks. An absolute perfect day!

Had the best time with Jackie from Magic of Maui! I was hesitant about doing a Road to Hana tour due to motion sickness, but Jackie was a great driver and was so wonderful showing us all the hidden jewels that we would never have found on our own. She even ordered our banana bread ahead of time so we would not waste time standing in line. She picked it up for us while we kept exploring. Jackie even allowed me to use her new iPhone to take pictures since mine was not focusing very well and then sent them to me. I can't say enough about how perfect she made the trip for us. The Magic of Maui with Nicole was a great half day to Hana. She personalized the tour after we visited and we saw everything we wished to see AND MORE! I watched u-tube videos and did online research and am so happy with the decision to go with The Magic of Maui Experience

What an Amazing day!! Our private Road to Hana tour in Maui was everything we wanted and more!! This was our first time in Hawaii, so we wanted to experience all that we could! I spoke with Dana at the Magic of Maui Experience. She went above and beyond for us to have the best time! She was so helpful and very friendly!! I can't say enough good things about her. We did our half day adventure with Dave. He was the Best!!! He was so friendly and catered to what we wanted to see. He took great pictures of us along the way as we got to see so many amazing sites! He took us to places we could have never done on our own. We saw beautiful waterfalls and even got to swim at one!! The beaches were beyond beautiful, and we got to see large turtles at one!! The black sand beach was breathtaking!!! It was Awesome!! We got to see rainbow trees and stopped to get fresh banana bread. We even went through a bamboo forest! What an amazing tour with our wonderful guide Dave. Everyone needs to take the Magic of Maui Experience!! Thank you, Dana and Dave, for the trip of a llifetime!! We will never forget you!!!

Wonderful trip! Saw turtles, rainbow eucalyptus trees, black sand beach, a cool lava rock area on the ocean and the cliff and waterfalls. Ride was great, driver was knowledgeable and took care of everything for us. Snacks, cold drinks, towels and the wealth of knowledge of the area and Hawaii history. We went on the half day road to Hana with Jackie. It was beautiful and just enough. Jackie was a great guide. Very knowledgeable . She stopped along the way to show us views as well as took pics of us with scenery in the background . Super sweet! The best!

This tour was amazing! Our family was looking to do a tour that included half Road to Hana and visiting Haleakala. This tour was perfect and also personalized to what we wanted to do and see. Our tour guide was Charlotte and she was great! She did a spectacular job of showing us Maui and making this such a fun experience. It was definitely the trip of a lifetime!

My family and I were looking for a tour that included the road to Hana and a trip to Haleakala for either sunrise or sunset. The Magic of Maui Experience, Half Day Road to Hana and Haleakala sunset tour was worth every penny! This private tour allowed us the freedom to choose what we wanted to spend more time or less time at. Our guide, Yvonne was very knowledgeable and provided us with the experience of a lifetime! She took family photos all along the way that we will cherish forever! With stops at Black Sand Beach and Aunt Sandy's for banana bread as well as being able to see rainbow eucalyptus trees up close, not to mention the breathtaking views from Haleakala at sunset! We were even well prepared to do a quick change into warm clothes so that we could truly enjoy the sunset from the summit of Haleakala. Yvonne provided us with snacks and waters throughout the day and even had coats, hats and gloves just in case! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the true "Magic of Maui"!!

Our private tour in Maui was truly a highlight of a lifetime for our family of five with kids ages 18, 19, and 20. From seeing sea turtles up close to exploring stunning waterfalls and driving the breathtaking Road to Hana, every moment was unforgettable. Dave, our guide, went above and beyond to make the day fun, relaxing, and packed with adventure. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—absolutely perfect in every way!

Our family had the BEST day! Charlotte was amazing and knew all the cool places to show us. We loved seeing so many different things along the way. Charlotte knew the area well. She showed us local stops such as where chocolate was grown and made, Aunt Sandy's Banana Bread, The best Bona Trees, caves, waterfalls, beaches, Sea Turtles, lovely communities along the way and wonder lunch at Hui Hui Chicken. This tour was everything my husband and I wanted and MORE! We saw beautiful waterfalls and beaches, lush jungle landscapes and SEA Turtles !! Our guide, Matt was amazing. His knowledge of the road to Hana with the various sights and stops was impressive. He kept us engaged with interesting stories and fun facts throughout the tour. She was friendly and courteous and shared good information in relation to the sights we saw and stops we made during the trip. Her vehicle was modern, clean and comfortable. She provided cool drinking water and snacks and had towels and sunscreen on hand for our visit to the waterfalls and swimming places. She was a responsible and careful driver, which we appreciated, given the roads travelled were narrow and winding. Matt our guide and driver was awesome! He was friendly, shared great and interesting knowledge of the islands and was personable. He took us to several amazing spots on the road to Hana. He took great pictures of us along the way and for sure took us to some secret spots. We enjoyed our time with Matt and the road to Hana was memorable and better than we expected. Worth every penny.

This was our first trip to Hawaii, so we wanted to experience as much of Maui as possible. After some research, we chose The Magic of Maui Experience, Halfway to Hana, guided tour. The owner Dana will become your BFF before, during and even after your Maui vacation. She is so sweet, nurturing, and makes sure that there is everything on her tours you probably wouldn’t even think of taking such as sunscreen, snacks, cold water bottles, towels, raincoats & umbrellas, and even warm coats if you take a tour to the volcano. She makes these tours so carefree and easy. We were picked up on time by a nice van with lots of room, snacks and water. Our tour guide Matt was very knowledgeable about both local history in general and the stops along the way. He was so personable, engaging and our time with him couldn’t have been any better! He wants to please you and will bend over backwards to make this a once in a lifetime experience. What a way to start a HI vacation! We chose the half day tour over the full tour and were glad we did and we still saw so much! Black sand beach, turtles, waterfalls and so much more. Yes, could have driven it ourselves, but then the driver really doesn’t see too much, do they? Our guide, Kendra was just so nice and personable. This tour was a highlight of our entire trip to Hawaii. Nicole was extremely knowledgeable and we learned more about the area than we ever would have on our own. Plus having someone experienced with the road drive let us relax and take in the beautiful scenery. Two unexpected surprises - delicious, warm banana bread from Aunt Sandy's and Nicole's music play list. When we weren't talking, we were all three singing oldies together. I can’t recommend this tour enough! Matt was my personal tour guide as my husband wasn’t able to join us due to illness. He made sure I was comfortable, and personalized the 1/2 day tour just for me. Matt was kind, personable and was a wealth of knowledge about the trees, plants and scenic points. I feel like I have gained a lifelong friend! Had a great time traveling the Road to Hana 1/2 day tour. Stacy was a great guide and driver (and she even took all the photos for us!). Knows the road well and even my wife, who can be leary of road trips, thoroughly enjoyed herself. Saw so much beautiful scenery. So many highlights but too many to list. We especially enjoyed meeting Coconut Kai on the road. Loved his $5 coconuts and other fruits that he prepared for us. Dana was excellent to book and coordinate with. Highly recommended if you want a half day tour. Wanted to upgrade to full day as we where driving but other commitments would not allow for it. Stacy was willing to accommodate us though!!!

We loved our day with Kendra. Yes, this is an activity we could have done by ourselves but we wouldn’t have enjoyed it half as much! We just showed up, and Kendra took care of the rest. Great comfy clean car, waters in ever seat, snacks to last a week and a flamingo floatie. We got the best of the road to Hana - watching surfers and sea turtles, enjoying a hidden black sand beach and arboretum, meeting George, and the most adventurous of us cliffs jumping. We just got to sit back and allow the day to unfold, even taking pictures for us. Thanks so much. My entire family said it was a five star day. We would absolutely do this again!

We have driven Road to Hana twice previously with locals and still learned so much more riding with Stacey on the 1/2 day tour. She catered the trip for our needs and took us to places we had not seen before. It was a perfect day!

My husband and I took a whole day excursion with Magic of Maui Experience and loved it! Jackie was the best guide; very knowledgeable, knew all the best stops, great photographer and encouraged us to make the most of our day! We’re so glad we chose this vs driving ourselves so we could both enjoy the day to the fullest! Dana was also super helpful in deciding which trip was best for us and had great communication throughout the whole experience!
