Itinerary
The first-ever Polynesian Cultural tour combined with the adventure of an ATV. We offer a fun opportunity to learn about the magic of Polynesia while figuratively visiting the "islands" of Hawaii, Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji. Enjoy hands-on activities and lots of laughter as you adventure through the jungle during your Big Island ATV tour. We also offer a Polynesian Wood Carving tour that allows you to learn how to carve a tiki from a Master Carver from Tonga. We are conveniently located 10 minutes from Kailua-Kona on the western side of the Big Island of Hawaii

We had a great time! The tour guides were fun and we enjoyed the activities. I was the winner of the island warrior competition. I wish we hadn't bought the pictures as they were not great. Overall, it was really fun.
I have mixed feelings about this tour, firstly I really appreciate our actual tour guides on the UTV's who led the whole tour. They were very friendly and helpful, at one point on our trail we came across a tree along the pathway blocking us, they had to call back to the front office to let them know and no one was able to come and "rescue" us and they were going to have us turn around and come back however one of the guides had a machete in the UTV and literally started chopping it up so we could continue. The flip side of this was when they called the front office manager to let them know they were able to clear it you could clearly hear the office tell the guides to skip over parts of our tour to cut it short because we had essentially wasted too much time clearing the tree. This was shocking to me, why should we have to have our experience cut short because of a tree down on your trail, also begs the question why did someone not run through the trail before we went through it? Anyways, our guides tried to make the best of it for us, which I appreciate. The last thing I want to mention is this is a rough trail, its unpaved and very rocky/steep at certain points if you have any back issues you might want to skip this. If you feel like you cannot safely operate the ATV the guides have two UTV's and you can hop in there which was great, because I did not enjoy the ATV at all I was too fearful once I got onto the UTV the tour became so much more enjoyable. So give the ATV a shot but just know you are not married to that decision. Lastly, as so many people mentioned bring bug spray seriously. the mosquitos were incredible and the only lasting souvenir I have of this tour, ha-ha.
Lawrence and Dani were absolutely amazing, informative about the cultures and beyond! They gave us even more history than that of the tour! I recommend Aloha Adventure Farms to adults and families! ATV was fantastic and so fun!!
Chris and Matt were the best!!! We somehow got lucky and it was just me and my husband on their 8am Polynesian culture tour. Chris led my husband on ATVs and I joined Matt in their UTV for the tour. We got to “visit” Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, and Hawaii. You can tell how passionate Chris and Matt are about sharing the culture of each island. We had a great time being hands on at each stop. Thanks for having us!
My wife and I enjoyed the ATV tour. Our guides (Dani and Lorenz) were excellent in keeping the ride fun throughout the rainforest mountain side and sharing their knowledge about the Polynesian culture. You won’t be disappointed!
Can participate even if you aren't comfortable to drive an ATV. Tasted local coconut and pineapple. So tasty.
One of my favorite tours by far. They did an excellent job. I will say it is important to follow their instructions. They warn people about the mosquitoes and I was the only one in our group who listened, lol. I shared my mosquito spray of course. They are very clear with instructions but people just have to follow them. I strongly recommend this tour. It was super fun and we also learned a lot.
We had a blast on this excursion. My husband and I rode the ATVs and my older mother rode in a buggie. We booked last minute and unfortunately this lead to the reservation time overbooking. My mother was going to be squished in the backseat with some children but then the guides went above and beyond to ensure her comfort by bringing another buggie which allowed her to ride more comfortably and have her own guide to talk to. We really appreciated this accommodation. The actual tour was interesting with the stops at the different "islands" and the ATVs were fun! It's a group tour so this is not for you if you want to just ride fast, full throttle. I really enjoyed the stops and talks though!
Our family ranged in age and we all agree the ATV tour with Aloha Adventures is one of our most memorable part of our trip to Hawaii. The guides and the knowledge shared was absolutely amazing. We truly loved our time here and would recommend it to people of all ages! My son will never forget his time cracking a coconut or seeing the painted trees up close. Don’t miss this tour!
Was a great experience. Atv ride was great as was our guide showing us cultural history. Ranger guide was great with our grandchildren. Highly recommended.
Dani and Lorenz were both amazing super friendly and knowledgeable. Pineapple was amazing and history spot on.
My wife and I booked this ATV tour on a whim (we were ALREADY at Aloha Adventure Farms for the Tiki Carving Experience = HIGHLY RECOMMEND as well) and we were not disappointed. Our guides, Dani & Crys, were AWESOME!! Both guides were very friendly, knowledgeable, easy going and just all around fantastic examples of the Aloha spirit. The ATV tour cuts a path through their rainforest property and each stop along the way comes with a little history/cultural lesson about each of the Hawaiian Islands (along with some delicious coconut/coconut water, poi, and a fun game smashing a pineapple). Their knowledge of and respect for the Islands and culture comes through 100%. The ATV tour has varied terrain, but isn't too difficult. I rode in the UTV while my wife drove her own ATV. I flipped an ATV last year (NOT ON THIS TOUR) and was a little gun shy about 10 minutes after leaving the parking lot. HA! :) :) Both Dani and Crys took notice and suggested I hop in the UTV. No shame in my game and I enjoyed the tour much more from the comfort of a chauffeured UTV. :) :) Dani and Crys made sure everyone had a good, SAFE, time on the tour.
We had an excellent time, tour guides were very informative and professional. Best time yet. My 3 year grand daughter really enjoyed this in the UTV.
This was truly amazing, my son and husband absolutely loved riding the ATV, my grand daughter and I rode in the UTV, tour guides were informative, and we had a great time. Photos were taken by the tour guide, in which was great in case you missed something.
Both guides, Chris and Dani were exceptional! Very knowledgeable, enegergetic, funny, skilled vehicle operators and on a personal note, very attractive.
Chris and Lawrence were amazing guides. Very imformative. Very wise to island History. Very professional, personable, and friendly. Chris was a really good driver. Front desk personell was da kind as well. Mahalo Aloha Adventure Farms!!!!🙂🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Also thank you to the coffee tour personell. Tasty Coffee.
Dani was an amazing guide. I didn’t pay close enough attention to the information that was sent so my 12 and 8 yo were a little disappointed that they had to do utv with guide but they loved the cultural stops and activities.
It’s very informative, nice people and good tracks . You will become very familiar with ATV after this tour
We all 4 in our family had a fun time! Our grandsons 8 and 13 enjoyed riding in the UTV with our guide. We all enjoyed the cultural experience. The fees were what we expected for a fun 2 hour experience that gave our 2 older adults , 41 and 69, a ride on the ATV’s.
Amazing! So much fun for the kids and family! We were worried the kids might get board, but they (6,8,18) LOVED it, learned and had a great time. Beatiful farm, wonderful weather and nice break from the humidity closer to the coast.
Great time. The tour guides were great and knowledgeable. The whole family did ATV’s and the trail was fun, beautiful views, the stops to learn about the Polynesian islands and culture.
Excellent experience and superior tour guides. Lorenz and Crys were great!
Well organized fun experience with the family Would make recommend to anyone coming to the big island. .
Guides were excellent. Made the trip interesting with three stops discussing Polynesian culture.
Amazing experience. The whole family had a blast. The trail was a bit rough but so much fun! Great way to wear out the kids. Our tour guide Dani was great and very helpful
My husband and I took our 7 year old grandson on the UTV tour and we had a blast. Worth every penny spent. Highly recommend.
We had an excellent time on this excursion. Our guide was wonderful and really got everyone involved.
My husband rode the ATV and I rode with a guide named Ranger in the UTV. He was awesome to talk to and realized we had a lot in common including our birthday. He was a great kid and I wish him all the best in WA. We enjoyed each stop learning something new about the island culture. The guide did a great job teaching us about coconuts and music. Although I thought it was a bit pricey, we still enjoyed ourselves.
This is a great time! Ride ATV’s to different Polynesian villages up the mountain in tvd rain forest, stop at each and learn about their culture and engage in group activities. Family fun at its best. Great guide, easy to find, excellent service.
It was a beautiful trek through a local jungle. The history and information shared was great. The guides were informative and friendly. The reason why 4 stars is because the listing and confirmation emails state the tour is two hours, but we were done after an hour and 15 minutes. 45 minutes short is not good. There were no weather issues either. Also, this is a slow ride and you will not go over 15 miles an hour and average 5-8 miles an hour. That was disappointing.
I’ve been on several ATV tours here and ion the other islands and each one has a different “flavor”. This one’s great for trekking through deep forest, farmland and hilly terrain. Well planned stops along the way to demonstrate cultural aspects from the different Polynesian islands. Tremendous variety of plants flowers and birds. I think the ATV riding was exceptional but only part of what you experience. They have ATV people haulers for family that doesn’t ride so nobody gets left out.
We really enjoyed the tour and that it was a small group of people. The ATV ride was not boring and went over multiple types of terrain. It was still easygoing and safe for first timers but not so easy that those of us who ride were bored. It was slower paced mainly because we had to stop to let some people catch up, they did end up making one person get in the utv with the guide because they were going too slow, (our max speed was 10mph). We learned some very interesting things at each stop and our guides were great!
This tour was awesome! We loved the little stops with the cultural information. The area was beautiful and the 2 guides were super fun and friendly!!!
This tour was great. The guides were super friendly and fun! I loved the culture information and little stops we made. The ATVs were a blast. It's a cool trip. I definitely recommend 🤙
The experience was amazing! Great tour, great guides, fun ride! And to top it off our guide Dani recommended ultimate burger and it DID NOT disappoint! Thanks for an amazing day with our sons!
Fun riding the 4 wheelers through the coffee farm and up into the lush tree area. Stopped for some cultural activities and sampling some coconut and pineapple. Well managed activity with fun for all ages.
This was a wonderful fun experience! Our guides were amazing, friendly, and really knew their history of the different cultures. Highly recommend this experience!
tour guide was knowledgeable and gave us an amazing afternoon on ATV’s! the terrain was out of this world!
We loved our ATV tour! My husband I took our 8 year old daughter (we rode in the UTV), and it was her favorite stop on the trip. The scenery is completely different from being at the beach, and it was really beautiful to look at. The guides did a great job of making it interactive with the kids and interesting for the adults. A great family activity!
I had a great time. The machines were well maintained. The safety briefing was good and very applicable. The terrain was just enough that everyone could enjoy. I enjoyed the stops and the activities. Thank you for sharing a little different side to Hawai'i. PS watch for their sign. GPS will take you past their gate.
I had a great time. The machines were well maintained, the terrain was manageable by all. I enjoyed the stops to learn about the culture. The group was just right, 10 people. Any more and it would have been to crowded. Thank you for showing a little more of the Hawaiian landscape 😊
The hosts were friendly and informative. My family enjoyed the ATV ride. We seen cows, turkeys, eucalyptus rainbow trees and other cool plants we’ve never seen before. The hosts shared cultural history and made the experience fun for our family.
Trip was for a bachelor party and the tour guides were amazing and we had great time. Would recommend
Both my kids had a blast! The guides talk about the Island history and culture. They had the first participate in activities and both my kids enjoyed this. You get to drink out of a coconut and taste fresh pineapple. If you have back problems I would not recommend due to the terrain traveling across.
So much fun. We went a couple days after a pretty devastating storm. They are SO nice. Wyatt and Danni were our guides. They were fun, knowledgeable and safety aware. We’ve done other ATV tours on the Island, However this is the one we will definitely do again.
Educational and Fun! Ellis and Lorenzo made this excursion so fantastic. We’ve done ATV tours on the other islands, Sedona AZ, and Washington state, and this one was the best so far! We learned about 4 different islander cultures in an interactive and engaging way. Lots of laughs, super easy ride, great time! Highly recommend.
Had a great time. The tour guides did a fantastic job of giving a few history lessons and demonstrations along the path. Even thought it rained a good deal during the ride it was still very pleasant and enjoyable. I would highly recommend taking part in this great activity.
Such an amazing experience to see the local area and lifestyle. Easy to find, plenty of parking and friendly hosts. Tour the plantation on quad bikes with mini multicultural stops to get a taste of cultures and traditions. Quad Bike instructions easy to understand for first time riders at their own pace. Highly recommend this if visiting Kona.
Very educational on local culture. We had a blast. We will do it again. Wyatt was the best guide and Ranger was wonderful too. We got lost trying to find your place and called, the front desk lady was so sweet. I would highly, highly recommend this place to tourist. Its very safe.
