Our Pearl Harbor tour with Kanoe was wonderful. Her knowledge, kindness, and thoughtful storytelling made the experience meaningful, memorable, and truly special for us both.

The King Kamehameha Statue is a monumental bronze sculpture located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It depicts King Kamehameha I, the first monarch of the Kingdom of Hawaii, standing majestically with a spear in his left hand and his right hand extended, symbolizing peace. The statue is about 18 feet tall and weighs over 15,000 pounds, making it an impressive and iconic landmark in the city. It was commissioned in 1878 by King David Kalakaua and sculpted by Thomas Ridgeway Gould, a prominent American sculptor. Today, the King Kamehameha Statue is a symbol of Hawaiian heritage and a popular tourist attraction.
Iolani Palace, located in downtown Honolulu, is the only royal palace in the United States. It was built in 1882 during the reign of King David Kalakaua and served as the official residence of the Hawaiian monarchs until the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom in 1893. The palace is a masterpiece of Hawaiian architecture, blending elements of European and Hawaiian styles, featuring grand halls, elegant rooms, and intricate woodwork. Today, Iolani Palace is a museum that offers tours to visitors, showcasing the history and culture of Hawaii's monarchy. Its rich heritage and regal charm make it a significant historical landmark in Hawaii.

The Hawaii State Capitol is a striking architectural landmark located in downtown Honolulu. Designed by renowned architect John Carl Warnecke, it was completed in 1969 and serves as the seat of government for the state of Hawaii. The building's unique design features a distinctive volcano-inspired shape with two legislative chambers resembling lava flows and a central rotunda symbolizing the eye of a hurricane. Surrounding the Capitol is a lush open-air courtyard filled with native Hawaiian plants and a reflecting pool, creating a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city. The Capitol is home to the Hawaii State Legislature, Governor's office, and other state government agencies. Its modernist design and cultural significance make it a must-visit for tourists and a focal point of political life in Hawaii.
The Mission Houses Museum in Honolulu is a historic complex consisting of three restored missionary homes: the Frame House (1821), the Chamberlain House (1831), and the Printing Office (1841). These houses offer a glimpse into the lives of American Protestant missionaries who arrived in Hawaii in the early 19th century. The museum's exhibits include period furnishings, artifacts, and documents that showcase the missionaries' daily activities, cultural exchanges, and contributions to Hawaiian society. Visitors can explore the museum to learn about missionary life, Hawaiian history, and the impact of Western influence on the islands. The Mission Houses Museum serves as an educational resource, preserving the heritage of Hawaii's missionary era and fostering an understanding of its complex cultural dynamics.

Highly recommend Go Tours! Our guide, Kanoi, was excellent. She funny, had great stories and unbelievable knowledgeable. She seemed genuinely happy to be with us. Her level of passion for her heritage and the sacrifice of our armed services was very clear to us.
Wonderful trip couldn't have had a better tour guide very impressed 😊
The tour was wonderful. We saw everything we had hoped to see. Our guide Kanoe was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, funny and gave us lots of insight into the history of Pearl Harbor and also Hawaiin culture. Would highly recommend
The driver Eric was not very knowledgeable about the places inside the Pearl Harbour He admitted not knowing much inside the area.
Kanoi (I apologize if it is spelled incorrectly) was wonderful. Knowledge on history and culture. Also very entertaining and remembered everyone’s name and where they came from. So enjoyable
Rocky was a wonderful tour guide. So glad we had him. He made it special
Rocky was great! Very informative!!!
Rocky was an amazing tour guide. He was super informative and I learned a lot from him. Not only things about Pearl Harbor but advice on day to day life. I would 100% book with him again!
Are driver and guide Rocky was absolutely amazing couldn’t begin to even think of something that would have changed. Absolutely amazing person would suggest him to anyone.
The Pearl Harbor experience was very good, interesting and informative. It’s a great memorial to those who lost their lives during the Japanese attack. My only issue was that I was expecting more from the Kingdom History tour where we just drove past a couple of old buildings
Very well organized, run and presented. Guide was very knowledgeable and professional.
Kanoe was the best!! She was so informative and gracious to us. Would want to go with her again.
Rocky is the best, upbeat, knowledgeable and dedicated tour guides we have had the courtesy to be with!
Rocky was awesome. Fantastic driver. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything we saw on the tour. Lots of great stops along the route. Would highly recommend to others.
We were very pleased and recoment this travelling guide
This was an amazing experience for my family. Very informative tour loaded with several different spots to visit. The pick up location was a short walk from the hotel and very convenient. Our tour guide dropped us off at our hotel afterwards. Our tour guide was amazing and very energetic. Would recommend to any history, military, or aviation buff.
The tour to Pearl was emotionally moving. I enjoyed learning the history of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
Self guided tour at USS Arizona was the right amount of time if you don't include submarine museum. Guide was helpful and pleasant. The brief drive around Honolulu pointed out interesting places and facts. We had plenty of time to go to other sites in the afternoon
This tour was a great experience. Both John the driver and tour guide were very nice and informative.
eric is awesome guide with hella knowledge
There is a lot of history to look at. It’s not just about Pearl Harbor, but much of the naval history and causes leading up to the bombing.
We had a great driver, Miss Canoy who was extremely, friendly, knowledgeable & funny!!!
This tour made our experience in Pearl Harbor easy to navigate. Very informative and our tour guide made it even better with her commentary.
Changed our pickup place without any confirmation, so our tour never happened. Only positive is that we could reschedule it,
Our guide/driver was courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and fun! Viewing the memorial was a moving experience and the ride to the site and back was quite enjoyable, giving us an opportunity to see some of the sites we might have missed!
Honestly you could do this on your own. Will be a lot cheaper on your own but if you don't rent a car may be hard but uber is a thing. Driver was late to pick us up from pearl harbor when we all completed our activities. We all were very hungry and didn't stop for food as he was already an hour late. Do it yourself.
The tour guide was excellent, took the time to know everyone, a great sense of humor and shared Hawaii history, as well what happened in Pearl Harbor, on the way, and the humbling experience of honoring the service men who were so young that lost their lives that day in Pearl Harbor. Worth the $ and time, highly recommended.
We had a great experience on our Pearl Harbor tour. Taking the boat to the Arizona Memorial and touring the Missouri Battleship were both incredible and memorable highlights of our visit. Pearl Harbor itself was a powerful and moving experience. Our tour guide was very informative, organized, and did an excellent job keeping everyone on schedule, which made the day easy and stress-free. We appreciated all the historical information and logistical support throughout the tour. My only minor critique is that the guide seemed to feel the need to fill every moment of silence with commentary and off-topic commentary. A little more downtime during the bus rides would have been nice. That said, it was an excellent tour, and I would still highly recommend it.
Go Hawaii tours treats you like family! Stan helped us get the perfect plan and Jay’s driving and guiding was great!
The history lesson was excellent
Pearl Harbor was a very phenomenal experience. The guide (driver) Coi was such a pleasure. She is very knowledgeable about Hawaii’s and other states’ historical facts. She had the entire bus feeling like one happy group.
Lovely trip to Pearl Harbor memorial. Our guide, Canoe, was wonderful and highly informative and very helpful. She added a little humor and engaged the group in conversation. Would highly recommend.
Information shared was perfect and entertaining.
Excellent service and extremely knowledgeable guide kanoi.
Great day out and guide was so informative and professional
This was a well organised tour from start to finish, helped enormously by Kanoe’s introductions of fellow passengers and non-stop running commentary on the journey to Pearl Harbour. This was both informative and entertaining, further helped by Kanoe’s wonderfully dry sense of humour. Once at Pearl Harbour Kanoe explained the geography of the site, must see exhibits and procedure for visiting the USS Arizona Memorial before we were left to our own devices for 3 or more hours. For the return journey to Waikiki, Kanoe worked just as hard, fielding questions from passenger and telling us more about the history, the local area and the Hawaiian language. We thoroughly recommend a visit to Pearl Harbour organised by Go Hawaii, especially with Kanoe as tour guide.
Our group had an unforgettable experience on our Pearl Harbor tour, thanks to our guide, Kanoi. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive, and she brought the history of Pearl Harbor to life with clarity and respect. Her storytelling made the experience both educational and deeply meaningful. She kept our group engaged throughout the entire tour, answered every question with patience, and added thoughtful context that helped us understand the significance of the site, including the local area (and where each of our groups were from!). What stood out most was how she made the tour feel personal and special for our entire group. The information was rich, and her passion for the history truly elevated the experience. We left feeling informed, moved, and grateful for her guidance. Highly recommend booking a tour with Kaoni if you want a memorable and impactful visit to Pearl Harbor.
Excellent value, Kanoi was a great guide. Easiest way to see the national historic site.
Friendly, patient and helpful
We just did a Pearl Harbor tour but that isn't listed, so I'll cover it here. Pearl Harbor itself is amazing and thought provoking. The tour included the USS Arizona memorial and the USS Missouri. Go Tours Hawaii basically provided the transport, no specific guide, although I don't think one was needed. Time was limited so there really wasn't enough time to see everything in the museums, the submarine or all of USS Missouri. The driver drove us through the city cemetery on the way back, which seemed unnecessary. I would rather have spent more time at Pearl Harbor.
Here humbling and knowledgeable fun experience
Kanoe at GoTours Hawaii, is AMAZING! She is extremely knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor and navigated atypical traffic, with alternate routes, so we were on time for our tour of Pearl Harbor & The USS Arizona! Mona, New York City
My 1/2 day tour with Go Tours, led by Anoe, was a wonderful experience. This was a bucket list trip for me and I was not disappointed. I learned a lot from Anoe, as well as from the museums and video at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. The Arizona Memorial is quite moving.
The was a fabulous, well run tour. Our guide Kanoe was incredible! She was very friendly, easy to understand and provided a great amount of interesting history.
If you are independent travellers uber or public transport out instead. Very expensive for really just a standby entrance ticket (which is $7)( i think) and a ride there and back. Guide told us to hurry and scan for memorial boat as soon as we arrived. However i would suggest watching the movie and going into the museums first then to the memorial. Some interesting fast facts on drive back into town. Long 5 hrs, could do in 2 .5 with uber from Waikiki. If not an independent traveller then, its just o.k. Still had to pay extra for Aviation museum/sub USD27
My daughter flew me in to Hawaii for my birthday, and we had a great time.
As a history lover it was amazing to see Pearl Harbor and an actual submarine! Eric was great, giving us a lot of good information about the city and history of Pearly Harbor. Getting out to see the ‘Iolani Palace up close was a dream, it’s beautiful!
Driver was polite, funny and knowledgeable
