It's a solemn and quiet place, designed to allow visitors to reflect on the sacrifices made by the sailors and Marines who were lost during the attack Viewing the Wreckage: Inside the memorial you can look down into the water to see parts of the sunken battleship. The ship's outline is visible just below the surface, and oil droplets, often referred to as "The Tears of the Arizona," can still be seen rising to the surface Remembrance Wall: At the far end of the memorial is a wall inscribed with the names of the 1,177 crew members who lost their lives aboard the USS Arizona. This wall serves as a powerful reminder of the human cost of war

This was an amazing experience! We learned a lot of things we never knew before. Will was so knowledgeable and we had so much fun on his tour. He went above and beyond, driving us around Honolulu and showing us some other sites beyond Pearl Harbor, including stopping at Waikiki Beach. We were picked up in a timely manner, with plenty of info and instructions for what to see, where to go, must-see areas, etc. etc. 10/10 would recommend!
Pearl Harbor museum was a site of awe and reverence. Summer gave us additional history on the way which gave us better context. The grounds were sacred It is a must see in American history
Brian was a wonderful easy going guide. He let us dictate the tour and kept us well-fed. My son was on crutches and he went out of his way to get a wheelchair for us while we were visiting Pearl Harbor. It definitely made the tour much more enjoyable for him!
Best day ever! Our guide “Brian” went above and beyond. Highly recommend! But, make sure you get Brian. He is a native of the island and knows all the great spots. Loved it.
Our day started with Will picking us up at the airport, right on time. We had a small group of 5 for a private island tour that started at Pearl Harbor. The stops suggested were all spot on and exactly what we were looking for. We were most excited about how knowledgeable and friendly our guide (Will) was. Such a pleasure to talk with and get to know. Thanks Will- we had a great time and will be back next year for the large island circle tour. The Kentucky Gang!!!!
We had the best time with Papa P!! He’s a great tour guide and did a wonderful job! Would definitely recommend!! Lots of fun facts, and took the time to make us feel special!
Just had an amazing day on Oahu with Summer! Summer was so informative, fun, and filled with fun facts and tips! Gave us awesome photos to document a trip of a lifetime! Thank you so very much Summer!! Jody
Great experience. The toure guide Papa P is great and he spent all the day and helped us to navigate the toure. I will recommend the same toure guide.
We very much enjoyed our day with Summer. We were able to customize our trip around the island with some surprise favorites that only a local could share. Summer's stories and extensive knowledge of Hawaii's history was amazing. We learned so much and saw absolutely everything! 12 of 10 would recommend! Mahalo Summer! I hope our paths cross again.
Cousin Guy was great for our tour of Pearl Harbor and Mini Circle Tour. We enjoyed every stop on our tour and the good was amazing.
Johnny Aloha was awesome and so much fun!! He entertained us all day! He made the day very worthwhile! Thank you for teaching us about Oahu!!!
It was very moving to visit Pearl Harbor and we enjoyed the Dole Plantation but delays with transportation was a big problem.
* Not good for energetic children * Rude booking agent! I would have given our tour 3 stars, because it wasn’t bad just a little disappointing. But when I called Aloha Sunshine Tours to voice my concerns I was amazed at how “respectfully” rude Jayson was. Our tour guide started by being 45 minutes late, but she was nice and knowledgeable. We visited Pearl Harbor for a somber, once in a life time opportunity and then we were able to do a little shopping at the stadium. We didn’t get to see everything we wanted to, but I enjoyed hearing about the island’s history. Unfortunately our children (ranging 8-12) got bored with the history lesson about half way through the day. It was a lot of riding and site seeing from the bus. Our guide was nice and let the kids have 20 minutes to swim at a beach, when we asked. When I called to voice my opinion about the tour description, Jayson was very vocal in telling me how disrespectful our children were and how they should have appreciated getting the lesson from a native. He also said he would never have given his children a phone to entertain them during the tour and that our expectations were unrealistic (after our family of 8 paid almost $4000 for the day) As a mom and a teacher I can tell you that a child’s attention span is not meant to absorb 6 hours of information while seeing it go by in the window. After listening to Jayson critique our parenting skills and “respectfully” (his words) accuse us of unrealistic expectations, I had to hang up the phone as he was literally screaming to get his point across. As we toured Oahu today our guide told us that only 17% of the natives are left on the islands to spread happiness and the others have gone to spread happiness wherever they go. It’s an island motto! Maybe Jayson should take a tour! She also taught us some Hawaiian words including: Ohana- Family, Pua- Flower, and A Hui Hoe- until we meet again. I can tell you we will never A Hui Hoe Aloha Sunshine Tours again!!!!!
Great tour starting with the Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation and then lots of stops throughout Oahu. Our guide, Johnny Aloha, was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and fun. He let us dictate most of the day for a unique tour. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.
Aloha. OUR tour guide Anthony Mendez ( Tremendous), gave us a wonderful trip around Oahu. We enjoyed our tour so much. He really showed us some amazing sites and great places to eat. We will truly treasure the memories we made that day. Anthony was so friendly, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. ALOHA Sunshine tours communicated with us and rearranged our tour at Pearl Harbor after we had a delayed flight that morning. Everything worked out great. We appreciate the great service from the tour company and our awesome guide. Best wishes to you all and our continued prayers for Maui.
Johnny Aloha had a great attitude and was very knowledgeable. He was great with the kids the whole time and accommodated the time line to our needs. Loved this tour.
Shannon was a perfect guide. His local knowledge and experiences set this tour apart for us. He was very courteous and helpful throughout. Appreciate you Shannon!
Our guide Chris from Aloha sunshine tours was fantastic! He knew the island and all kinds of fantastic information! Because we ended up being his only customers he tailored it just for us! Everything was perfect!
I would give a zero if I could. They couldn’t get a pass to Pearl Harbor they told us the night before. They offered a refund or rescheduled but didn’t do either and kept our $1700. Stay away from this tour.
Seeing all the different areas of the island Would have liked more time at Pearl Harbor but that was my fault for not more research on the tour as we booked at the last minute
Got up early one morning to see Pearl Harbor, The Pineapple farms, The Polynesian Village, we got picked up at the Airport, the guide that met us was very professional, gave us the low down of what to expect. There was a lot to cover and he helped us see so much, it was an amazing experience. What I loved the most was hard to pick of it all, but one thing that was the best was our Tour Guide, Kealoha, he made it one experience that makes you want to do it again, had such a Passion for it all, explaining everything as we went, even though we came from all over that day we were all his family, To the Best, Kealoha Your Indiana Brother
We enjoyed our tour with Dennis. Since he is a former educator, he is a great tour guide. He taught us so many interesting things we did not know! It’s a great way to see the island!
