The Tour was excellent from the start. Prompt pickup at the Airport and went directly to Pearl Harbor for a great experience. On to the Dole Plantation for a quick stop for Dole whip. Finished up at the Polynesian Cultural Center and saw several great cultural presentations. Then it was back to the Airport to head to Maui.

Summer was AMAZING! From pick up and taking photos, to supplying water and giving tips to make the most of our time. They pointed out the cleanest restrooms… essential when traveling with 2 young kids. The shrimp lunch spot was delicious, and the tip to skip the extra spicy option was appreciated as more than one member of our party would have encountered that problem. All of the information shared was wonderful and the dad jokes were great add one.

Papa P was a great guide. He went above and beyond by not only providing snacks and drinks but also adding to the experience with personal stories and even showing off his guitar skills. Papa P really cares about providing the best experience he can and was a joy!

Overall a fun experience. We enjoyed our guide Summer who was very informative and had great energy! We liked the tour but felt it was overpriced. For almost $1000 for a couple food should be included. When we stopped for lunch at the food truck it was not clear that we had to pay which I felt forced to buy and wish it was included. I also wished for more time at the Dole Plantation given that the itinerary advertised the train ride which I was really looking forward to and when we arrived we were told we didn’t have time to ride it and it all felt very rushed. We had the perfect amount of time at Pearl Harbor but Wish we had more time at the Cultural Center because it was so amazing with so much to do but glad we were able to do so much in a day:)

I’ll start by saying this was easily the highlight of our trip! From the breathtaking scenic drive around the island to the thoughtfully planned stops, everything about this tour exceeded our expectations. Even with the rain, our guide, Summer, made the experience fun, engaging, and incredibly informative, there was never a dull moment. We’re also so grateful to Jason for coordinating everything ahead of time and for his warm hospitality. Both Summer and Jason were knowledgeable, professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough and I would gladly do it again!

Fantastic trip with lay back extra working time tour. Papa P was keeping us informed about all the history and stories the whole 12 hours. I am impressed he should be more tired than me. He also provided personal karaoke songs and guitar playing during the break. Impressive.

We truly enjoyed our tour and especially our guide, Summer! She was so energetic, kind. prompt and kept us on schedule! Summer was very knowledgeable about Hawaii and told us so many interesting facts. We loved all of our stops (Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, Lunch, Polynesian Culture Centrer, beach and nut shop) we wished we had more time at each stop, but only can do so much in a day! Our Bus Driver was Summererer. She was GREAT! Very knowledgeable about Hawaii 🌸. She has a good sense of humor and made our trip really fun, in her bumpy bus. My boys had a really good time also ❤️ The Blanks. iRene's sister.

Summer was our driver / guide. Very prompt, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Everything moved like a well oiled machine. Plenty of time at each stop… never felt rushed.

Johnny, driver and tour guide, gave a lot of good information while on the tour. He took care of all the passengers. If you get him as a tour guide consider yourself lucky.

My trip was listed under my mother, Patricia and I traveled with my mom and my husband. This was the best excursion that we went on and I would highly recommend it! My husband wanted to visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial and he was very pleased, even though it was sad, but educational. We enjoyed the Dole Plantation and the little train ride around the property. I had no idea how pineapples grew on the ground. The best and our favorite was the Polynesian Center, don't miss visiting this place, it was outstanding! I thought it would be like a museum, but it was not. Live displays and lots of entertainment, food, and they even allow you to rent a scooter if you have mobility issues. Our tour gude was Anthony, he was entertaining, funny and a good driver too. I enjoyed the lunch and water that was included. I would highly recommend Aloha Sunshine Tours, and Anthony. We did many things on our trip to Maui, but visiting Oahu and taking this tour was one of the best things we did.

We loved each of the places we visited and our tour guide Leena was very informative. Something to consider would be offering an option that adds more time at Pearl Harbor and less time at the Polynesian Cultural Center. One couple in our group was late getting back at the Dole Plantation and they were left behind. We’re hoping they made it back to where they’re staying at least!

I absolutely loved the Polynesian Cultural Center!!!!! To me it was the highlight of the trip. I would have loved to spend more time there. Pearl Harbor was a worthwhile experience. Johnny Aloha shared so many stories and took us to the palace and Nu'uanu Pali lookout as an "extra bonus"! WOW the view was AMAZING! The flight from Maui to Oahu and back was relatively quick and was super easy (we even managed to get on an earlier flight back to Maui - barely). Lunch was delicious!

Awesome driver great time , Leena driver very knowledgeable took us to some extra stops and knew a lot about the island and history of Hawaii

Schnider was our tour bus driver and he was so awesome! On time to pick up at the airport, friendly, and great communication. He brought a cooler of drinks (water and juice) and put in an order for lunch so when we stopped after Waikiki for lunch, it was hot and ready! We saw the north coast of Oahu and the Polynesian Cultural Center. People are so nice there, the food trucks and stands are great. Definitely recommend this trip! He took our pic at the Dole Plantation in front of the Rainbow Eucalyptus tree- great work Schnider!!

We had an amazing time! Having Leena as our tour guide made for a very fun filled day! She was amazing and brought so much Aloha to our day! It was a lot to squeeze into one day but so worth it we would have Leena take us around the island again! Mahalo

Let me start by saying, our tour guide Ric was great. He was prompt picking us up at the airport from Maui and provided some history and landmarks in between stops. Ric provided some guidance on the stops of the most liked sites/shows/treats to get the most out of our time. The tour itself fulfilled every point on the tour description. I gave this a 4 star solely because I would have liked more time at Pearl Harbor and The Polynesian Cultural Center as there is much to see and learn that cannot be done in the time allotted. As with all group tours, the other members on the group tour can alter times at stops and the overall ‘Aloha Spirit’. Be back at the stated time. Engage with the tour guide and have fun with the group you’re spending the day with. Last, plan ahead to tip your tour guide 15-20% of the cost the cost of your tours (for any of them, regardless of company). This was a surprise for us, so please heed this knowledge ahead of time. Hawai’i depends on tourism and tips to survive, not get rich.

More stops than just advertised ones. Guide was very knowledgeable and fun! Only wish we had more time at the Polynesian cultural center.

My first Hawaiian visit and tour. Our tour guide Papa P was the best. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we learned a lot. He gave us snacks and even shared his pork kabobs 😂😂. Please use this company when in Waikiki. You will not regret it. The rain was a bummer but Papa P made sure we were safe and well informed and even gave us some entertainment thanks Papa P.👍👍Jackie (The one who tried to snorkel 😂😂)

This review is for the pearl harbor, Dole & Polynesian with flights from Maui. Our tour guide was Johnny, Johnny Aloha as he goes by. We had a wonderful day trip flying in the AM from Maui to Oahu, we were picked up from the airport by our guide. Highly recommend the Pearl Harbor and Polynesian culture center !! Our tour guide (Johnny) pointed our several stories of the views we were seeing, kept us informed on timing and ensuring we stayed on track with the full itinerary. You'll spend a few hours at PH, and Polynesian culture center both are an absolute must see. The Dole plantation is more of a gift shop so less time spend there. We were able to even stop a few times for some breath taking views, and eat at a family owned shrimp farm for lunch (chicken & veg option too). Highly recommend this tour !! Our guide made the trip even better ensuring we had questions answered, stayed hydration and well educated on what we were seeing -- he's even got some great stories that will keep you laughing the whole day !
