Driver was on time and provided waters. The tour hit all the high points but it was very rush rush. Not enough time to enjoy Pearl Harbor and way too much time at pcc. Felt like being bused around to be held captive at the pcc.
Our driver, Brian, was very accommodating and friendly. Great day!
We had an amazing experience! Our tour guide was so helpful and knowledgeable! Made extra little stops on the way!
Leana was a very attentive tour guide. She was knowledgeable as well as considerate. We stopped at a coffee farm, which was delicious. Leonard’s a bakery had the best malasadas I’ve ever had in my life. The Dole plantation was a must stop for the Dole whip with fresh pineapple. We stopped for the best shrimp at Tanaka. It was so fresh and awesome. The Polynesian Culture museum gave out so much information on the individual cultures with mini presentations. I am so happy we chose to do this. It was a long day but well worth all the information and food that we ate. Leana provided water and a variety of chips to munch on. She is a gem!
Be ready to hit the ground running a lot to do and a lot of ground to cover all crammed into one day !! excellent outing
This experience is strictly a bus that takes you to each location. Our guide was not even knowledgeable to specific operating of each site and gave us conflicting information. We were provided the incorrect pickup spot both via email and when they called to confirm. They kept telling me to meet at the front of the hotel (the address of the hotel), luckily we didn't listen and were in the back where the designated tour bus locations were. He did not leave the bus with us at any location, it was very much just a drop off. The driver was pleasant and told details of the island as he drove, although much of it wasn't history, more of just random commentary. Pearl harbor was good, he provided a pickup time and was where agreed on pickup. It may be useful for someone that they book you out to the Arizona approximately 1-1.5 hours after arrival so you could fit in the submarine museum and tour if you hurry. We were too late by the time we decided we would have liked to do that, not the fault of the tour! As we were going to the Dole Plantation, he told us we had to get off and go to the train right away. We asked more information about what we saw on the train and for details and he admitted he had never ridden it or what it saw. Of course, upon mentioning a train, our children grew very excited, so we and several other families pulled the site up on our phones and booked train tickets (trains departed every half hour). As we arrived, precisely at 10 AM, he tried to only give us until 10:45, to which several of us explained he had bought train tickets for 10:30 as HE told us to, and so he frustratingly told us pickup at 11. It would have nice to have a little more time to explore the plantation, we really only got to walk into the gift shop, walk around the grounds for 10 minutes and then rode the train. Would recommend the train, its a tour and train ride all in one. The Polynesian Cultural Center took almost until noon to arrive, its important to note that there are restaurants there at the center, we packed some snack packs for everyone because we weren't sure what the food options were, but there are tons of food trucks and a few sit down options for eating there. It was raining when we arrived so we went to a resturant. As we were dropped off, he had to go pick up our tickets, and he brought them to us while we ate. He forgot to provide a pickup time and called me later to let me know when to meet back. The amount of time at the Pear Harbor and PCC felt appropriate for us. Would have liked maybe 90 or 120 minutes at Dole. The last stop was really just a store, and would recommend to the tour company to scratch that for more time at Dole. Overall the day was fine, we mostly adhered to the schedule as presented on our the tour. The guide was nice, although seemed unfamiliar with the spots he was taking us tour and unable to answer questions that felt very typical from tour groups. (Where to go, what is there, etc.) The communication of both the company and the guide would have made the experience much better and titling and describing it appropriately would set expectations better. You presented this as a tour, it was a bus.
Our guide, Papa P, was absolutely fantastic and made the atmosphere welcoming and encompassed our small group as his “Ohana” . He took us to so many great places and made sure that we saw the best parts of it all despite time restrictions or crowd size. The only downside was not being able to go to Dole due to Dole “closing early for inventory”, and they did not inform the tour company. Thank you!
Papa P was an amazing tour guide! Dole plantation closed without notification so our guide was able to pivot and continue our great experience.
Papa P was absolutely amazing and made the entire tour such a great experience! He was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, sharing so much interesting information throughout the entire trip. You could tell he really knew what he was talking about and genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. He was also so kind and thoughtful, providing candies and drinks for everyone, which was such a nice touch! He did an excellent job keeping us on schedule, and because we were on time, he even managed to fit in two extra stops. He also knew exactly what was worth spending time at and what we could skip, which made the whole day run smoothly and allowed us to get the most out of the experience. You can tell he has a lot of experience and knows how to make the tour enjoyable from start to finish. If you get the chance to tour with Papa P, you absolutely should! He truly went above and beyond, and I couldn't recommend him more.
The time at Pearl Harbor was limited. The Polynesian Culture Center time was longer than expected/needed. Our driver added 3 extra unplanned stops due to timing of things, which was very generous and nice of him.
Needed more time at Pearl Harbor, much less time at the Cultural center (3 hours) way too much time. Driver did NOT ask people to silence phone and people have zero respect for others and made it difficult to hear driver with the phone noise. Van seats are very small and needed stronger sun shades on window. Extra stops were nice and August, the driver was nice - but will not do again and would not recommend
Had a fantastic day! Papa P was a fantastic guy, funny informative and watched out for us the whole time he made the day fun and made it flyby. Our group of 22 was sorry when the tour finally ended. I think Papa P for a fantastic day and hopefully someday I’ll get back to Hawaii and get to take the same tour again with the same guy!
Tour guide papa p was very knowledgeable, funny I will definitely recommend him
Papa P (Paolo) was an amazing guide! He shared a wealth of knowledge about the history of the island and the sites we visited at Pearl Harbor, Dole Plantation, and the Polynesian Cultural Center. This was our first full day on the island, and it got our trip off to a wonderful start. What made the day truly special were the personal stories Paolo shared. He spoke openly about his family, including his Japanese father, the hardships his family faced, and his father's military service in the aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Hearing that history through a family's lived experience was moving, and it gave the Pearl Harbor visit a depth and perspective we never would have gotten from a guidebook. Paolo also thinks of everything to make sure you have an enjoyable day. He gave great suggestions on which shows to see at the Polynesian Cultural Center and helped us navigate each site so we didn't miss anything we hoped to see. His warmth and enthusiasm made the long day feel easy. If you're staying in Waikiki and want to see the best of Oahu in one day, this tour is a fantastic choice, and Papa P is the guide to ask for. We would book with him again in a heartbeat. Mahalo, Papa P!
Papa P was an AMAZING tour guide! He was so fun, full of knowledge and gave us a fantastic tour experience! Would definitely recommend him to family and friends.
Very well paced day. With a few extras thrown in. Papa P was a great host and a talented singer! He provided snacks through previous customer'd tips. Lots of good information and very knowledgeable.
What an amazing excursion!! Leena was an amazing tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and ambitious to show us around. If I come back and do a tour, I will absolutely be requesting to have her as our tour guide again!!!
Leena was absolutely amazing, she picked us up on time, gave us the warmest Aloha as we entered her bus. She is very knowledgeable and shared her wisdom about the island with us. She is an excellent driver, it was raining cats and dogs that day and she returned us back to our hotel safely. If I could I would give her a 20 star rating, but for now she gets the 5 well deserved star rating, at the end she gave all of us a big envelope with a surprise inside, if you want to find out book a tour with Leena. Mahalo Leena!
Papa P, was very educated, good knowledge, went out of his was to make it good.
Enjoyed every part of the tour. I learned a lot from Papa P. He shared a lot of historical facts, stories of his family and of the islands overall. I can listen to his stories all day. All the places we went to were organized and just spent enough time to enjoy them.
Papa P did a fantastic job of making the whole day enjoyable and teaching us SO much about the island. We made a few extra stops that were also really enjoyable and we grabbed some delicious snacks. He was warm, welcoming and extremely kind…not only to us but also to everyone else he came in contact with. I think that speaks volumes about his character. He treated my family with such sincerity and shared many interesting details about his own life. We will not forget this wonderful experience. Thanks, Papa P.
Papa P. Is all you need to know, better yet who you need to know! He made this experience a fantastic one for our family of 6.
Papa P was a great guide. Anyone who gets him will be in for a treat!
Nice tour where you will see a lot of different things. The tour guide Papa-P was one of the best tour guides ive ever had on a vacation tour!
Nice quick stop at Dole Plantation and enjoy their pineapple sorbet. Visit USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor where you stand above the sunken battleship that serves as the final resting place for over 1,100 crew members. Explore interactive recreated villages at The Polynesian Cultural Center in North Shore. This tour is worth booking especially if this is your first Oahu trip and you want to see a lot without renting a car.
We had a great time on the tour. Darcy was our guide and he really did an amazing job with the entire day. We felt like family visiting. It was great being able to experience the island with someone so knowledgeable and fun!!
This was the highlight of our stay in Waikiki. Papa P. was the absolute best tour guide we’ve ever had. He told stories of history, jokes, and kept us well fed with snacks and drinks on the bus. He even accompanied us into the Polynesian Cultural Center and helped us make the most of our experience. Towards the end of the trip, he even played guitar and sang a few songs. What a treat! If you want to turn your tour into more than just places to visit, please consider this tour and request him as your guide. We highly recommend this company.
Papa P was the perfect, playful, positive guide, With plentiful snacks always supplied! His passionate, powerful singing was pure delight, Pleasant, peppy, polished from morning to night! Personable, patient, professional, and prepared, With pretty, priceless memories shared. From punchy jokes to phenomenal cheer, Papa P made our whole adventure a prize of the year!
This is a wonderful experience to see Pearl Harbor and The Polynesian Cultural Center. It was a waste of time to go to the Dole Plantation that was basically stopping at an overpriced gift shop with some candy items made in other countries and no tours or information offered about the plantation. The ride along the coastline was beautiful!
Even though the start of the excursion did not start off well Darcy made the experience worthwhile. He was very personal and just a wonderful guide. I’m so glad you call him into work today.
Papa made this trip so AWESOME! Nothing better than a guide with a lifetime of knowledge, passion for the work and great story telling abilities ( the jokes and singing were ok too 😆). With this type of guide you get all the extras. Only thing I would change is a lot more time at Pearl Harbour and less time at the PCC.
The tour was amazing!! Papa P did a fantastic job taking us around the island and keeping the trip fun and exciting! Near the end of the tour he even serenaded our group with his guitar! The tour started at 6am and takes up most of the day so we’re all pretty tired but it was still a great experience.
This excursion was too costly for the services I received. I was not aware that the Pearl Harbor tour was free. We had a rental car and could have drove ourselves and saved our money. We also never received tickets but only a redeemable voucher that we had to show and stood in standby with people who didn’t pay in advance. The entry process was confusing and not a good experience. The next time I will due more research before signing up for an excursion that really does not include any extra perks besides being driven from place to place. I will not be using this platform in the future.
Our tour guide Arthur was awesome 👌 he toured us to many places even it wasn't part of our package.Highly recommended to visit these places.
Papa P made this tour priceless! We all know the tour guide can make or break your experience. Ask for the Papa P tour guide as he goes above and beyond to make your tour experience a positive and enjoyable one. All the little extras to make sure your experience is as positive as possible! Thank you Papa P and may God Bless you and your family!
The Travel Guide was amazing! Papa P took care of us and was very attentive! We enjoyed the trip!! Would definitely book with them again if we got Papa P!

Papa Tee is an amazing guide. He made the 12 hour journey of pearl harbor, dole and polynesian cultural center memorable for us. He provided us with soft drinks, water and snacks. He also helped us to cope up with the changing weather by providing fans when hot and rain jackets when raining. He also sang and played guitar to bring a whole lively vibe after a tiring day!
Papa P was an excellent tour guide! He was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, entertaining, and even a wonderful singer. He was very friendly and personable, and from the very beginning, he made us feel like we had known him for years. He made the entire day feel easygoing, enjoyable, and stress-free. His energy and personality made the experience truly memorable. I highly recommend Papa P to anyone looking for a fantastic tour guide. He deserves 5 stars!

Papa P was an amazing tour guide, nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of chips and drinks to keep us going 😊 When it rained Papa P provided us with rain Mac’s and a fan when it turned warm. Can’t recommend both him and the tour highly enough. Five stars 🌟
Papá P gave us a great time during the tour, he was very attentive and took care of us. Papa P during the bus drive spoke about history and some cool facts about the island. It was such a great idea to do this, gave us a better idea of Hawái. Definitely I recommend it :)
