We'll begin at Blue Planet Hale’iwa, where everyone will meet Phoenix, our lead, She's a lovely four-year-old Lab who loves people and swimming. We'll do a quick stand-up paddleboard training, covering the basics of paddling: Equipment, Balance, How to Paddle, Conditions, and Safety. Then we'll head out on the water. The Haleiwa River on the North Shore has glassy smooth water, perfect for entry-level stand up paddling. Phoenix and her friends will hop on everyone's board, joining them for photos during their unique and entertaining paddle boarding experience amongst the Pacific. We'll paddle for an hour, and then head back to the beach to shower, share stories and take a group photo. This experience includes a certified Stand-Up Paddle Instructor (PSUPA), ALL necessary equipment, and live-action photos and videos shareable through airdrop or Google drive. All equipment will be prepped and maintained by the instructor. It's a joy to be around dogs and the ocean. Come join us today! All dogs are super friendly and love being around people.
So SUPDog is an amazing experience. If you like dogs, like water, great scenery and a genuine guide you’ll love this. A must do on any visit to Hawaii. If you’ve never paddle boarded before (we hadn’t) the instruction was spot on and loved every minute of it.
We had the best time! Tyler was so kind, and took lots of time to make sure we were comfortable on the paddle boards. He told us the back story of each of the 3 dogs we paddled with, so we felt like we really knew them. The river was beautiful and we got to see lots of turtles, as a bonus. Such a great experience!

One of our favorite experiences during our week of excursions. Our guide, Riley was awesome. The river is super peaceful and it’s filled with turtles and local birds. The dogs are so sweet and funny. Cannot recommend highly enough.
This was such a great activity and surpassed any expectations we had. We were welcomed with friendliness and enthusiasm right from the start. It was fun to hear about how they started and to meet the wonderful dogs. They gave some quick instructions and then we headed out on the boards. We were a little nervous prior and didn’t know what to expect, but our guide put us at ease, and everything was so enjoyable. The water was calm and made for easy paddling. We all went from standing to kneeling on the boards and loved having all the dogs join us. We did not know we would be seeing sea turtles on the trip and that was such a great bonus. We were paddling right next to them, so cool! Our guide took a ton of photos, so we didn’t need to worry about phones getting wet. At the end of the trip, she sent them all to us and not only is she an incredible paddleboard guide, she is also quite the photographer. The whole team at SUP dog made this a great experience for us. Truly found my daughters happy place on the water with the rescue dogs. So glad we made the decision to give it a try! I can’t recommend this enough and am very eager to go back. Thanks so much!

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Out of all of the things we did on our trip this was our favorite! Tyler is very nice and helpful. The three dogs we got to paddle with were super cute and sweet. Dobby is very energetic and hops from board to board for all the treats he can get. Sandy and Phoenix are more calm and sit on your board patiently. This tour should really be called dogs and turtles. In the evening the turtles come into the river you paddle on. We saw probable 35 turtles in the hour we were on the river. The turtles would poke their head up two - three feet from your board. The river itself is calm and relaxing. It sprinkled a little bit while we were on the boards but it added to the experience instead of raining us out. Thank you Tyler for this wonderful experience.! I have already told multiple people about this experience. I hope his business continues to grow!

If you are dog people like us (especially rescue dog people), you will have a blast floating on the river with these cuties. Each one has their own personality—some chill, some a little more energetic! We chose the sunset paddle, and Tyler got some amazing shots of us during golden hour. We even caught sight of some turtles swimming next to us. One of the highlights of our trip, and we are still talking about it!

The entire experience with Landon of SUP Dog went amazing! Super knowledgeable guy about dogs and all things Hawaii and North Shore! The ride up the river with amazing dogs was a magical experience! If anyone is looking to get into nature and wants the companionship of animals, this is 100% the activity for you! Great for kids! 🤙

This was amazing! Tyler is a genuine soul and loves his dogs and people. He has a real passion for rescues in particular and is kind to share them with us to learn how to paddle. Couldn’t give it more stars or I would! Do not miss this if you are a dog lover. 100/10 recommend!
This was an incredible experience for me, my husband and our 15 year old. Tyler was excellent at instructing and extremely motivating! The pups were the best!! We loved learning something new while having smiling doggos encouraging us!

Our family of inexperienced paddle boarders went with SUP dog on an evening paddle and had a wonderful time. The water is flat, and we saw lots of turtles and enjoyed the sun setting. Of course the best part is paddling with friendly and entertaining pups! You get a bag of treats to give the pups as they go from board to board! Easily a favorite Oahu experience!

Wow, just wow! I can’t articulate how this SUP experience with Tyler and his crew of rescue dogs (Yuki I miss you already), was truly the highlight of our trip! I’ve been to Oahu many times but experiencing this with my 7 year old son was a first. Tyler was amazing and patient with us both and this was so therapeutic and soothing for the soul and body. The sea turtles and sunset were all icing on the cake! I’m already planning to book with Tyler on my next trip. Don’t snooze on this incredible memory making experience. Awesome experience. Definitely the highlight of our time in the North Shore. Neither of us has paddle boarded before. Our guide Tyler gave us a quick lesson. After several minutes with shaking legs I got the hang of it and could just enjoy the experience. The dogs were super fun jumping between boards, catching balls. They were so cute. The scenery was beautiful and tranquil and we saw tons of sea turtles. This is grewt for anyone who loves dogs. Truly a treat.
Our instructor Tyler was engaging kind and patient. The dogs are the sweetest and well trained. The water was call and beautiful and we just had a blast. Highly recommend!!
