Dirk was amazing and deserves a raise

We purchased a Groupon for this tour since we were only in Oahu a couple if days and weren’t renting a vehicle- it was well worth it. First of all our driver/guide Dirk was great. He was just a real positive, upbeat, fun guide with some great knowledge of the island. He had a little freedom to change up our route a bit to beat the storm that was predicted and also get away from all the other tours that had the same stops as us- which had us at each stop before the crowds arrived- that was great. The route we went took us to and through places we most likely would never see even if we did rent a vehicle. This was a long day on the road, but it was a really fun day.

Our tour guide, Dirk, was genuinely positive and personable. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does and loves sharing his passion for Oahu with others. His enthusiasm was contagious, and all the stories, history, and local knowledge he shared made the tour even more enjoyable. What stood out most was how well Dirk connected with everyone on the tour. Our group was made up of people from different places and backgrounds, yet he found ways to relate to each family and each person, even through small conversations. He made everyone feel genuinely welcome and included, which created a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout the day. This tour was exactly what we needed. Although this was my third time visiting Oʻahu, it was my first time booking a guided tour because I was traveling with family who were visiting the island for the first time. I’m so glad we did. When I was comparing different island tours, Aloha Fantasy Tours was one of the most affordable options, making it an incredible value. The tour bus was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary drinks were a nice bonus. The itinerary was perfectly paced, not overwhelming, but packed with enough stops and experiences that we felt like we saw so much of the island. There were even a few added surprises that made the day extra special. Another thing I really appreciated was that Dirk intentionally adjusted the route so our bus wasn’t always arriving at the same stops as the other tour buses. This allowed us to enjoy each location with fewer crowds and made every stop feel more relaxed and enjoyable. Everyone on the tour was friendly, polite, and respectful, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend Aloha Fantasy Tours to anyone visiting Oahu, whether it’s your first visit or your third. Mahalo, Dirk, for making our family’s day so memorable. I joined this day tour with my mom to celebrate her birthday, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our Hawaii trip! Our tour guide, Dirk, was incredibly informative, engaging, and hilarious — there wasn’t a single dull moment throughout the day. We learned so much while having a great time, and everything ran smoothly and on schedule. The tour was absolutely worth the price, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore Hawaii in a fun and memorable way!

The greatest thing about the trip wasn’t the beautiful view or nice skyline. It was our amazing driver Derick. Out of all the excursions we have done I have never had a great driver like Derick. I don’t mean to exaggerate this, he really is the best!

We did our trip with Dirk and had a blast. He was so friendly, telling us all about the history and nature around us. The atmosphere was fun and playful, it wasn’t too crowded only 10 people and we got to see some amazing sea turtles eating in the water.

Derek was a great tour guide, the scenery, tour stops were great and we enjoyed the snorkeling and it was neat they were by the sure so everyone could see them. The treats were wonderful and have the drinks available was great. The descriptions, scenery, and his way of making everyone comfortable and laughing and caring about each person made a wonderful day

Derek is an awesome driver and tour guide! He knows everything! But no one can really go to snorkeling I think, there’s always a reason (we got is bacteria in north shore, and customer service says weather reason). Without snorkeling, we return at 5pm, don’t know how longer it will be if go for snorkeling. And no Hanauma Bay Area bc someone if filming there so have to reroute.

One of the must dos on the island! Dirk is an amazing human being! He is super knowledgeable and very very modest. Basically his goodness reflects in his good work! The trip was super super fun! Highly recommended!

Dirk was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. He was so funny and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. He was always smiling and welcoming. I enjoyed all the information and learning about the history of Hawaii. Taking this tour was a better option than renting a car as we saw/covered so much of the island. Of course if one wants to spend more time in a spot then a rental car is an option. This tour gave us in about 8-9 hours a good sense of high level geography and locations. Thanks Dirk!! You’re “WOW”!!!
