This tour was a great way to see the island highlights in a day! Our tour guide Nevin was great and it was the little things like playing the ukulele at some of our stops and using a conch shell to let us know when to come back to the tour bus that was memorable. There were some power lines that came down in the road we were supposed to take as well as brown water from the storms on the North Shore that prevented us from snorkeling but Nevin quickly pivoted and changed our itinerary. We still ended up going to all of the spots named in the tour but added in Waimea Valley and got to swim at the waterfall-it ended up being better than we expected! The tour ended up going about 1.5 longer than planned but the group really appreciated the accommodation. It was also a small group-just 11 of us so felt like a private tour. Would highly recommend!

Our shuttle will arrive at 7:20am for pick up in Waikiki, with a local guide to help you prepare for a day of exploring the island of Oahu. Pick up times vary by hotel and will be automatically assigned when you input your information into our online booking platform.
The first lookout we visit is an elevated view perched on the eastern side of Waikiki’s famous Diamond Head Volcano, This lookout grants us a great opportunity for pictures of the south eastern coastline of Oahu, with notable sights as far as Hanauma bay and Maui on a clear day. The location is more formally known as Amelia Earhart Lookout, known for where bystanders gathered to watch Earhart make her first solo aviation journey from Hawaii to North America.
Molten lava tubes from volcanic eruptions that occurred from Oahu’s Koko Head crater formed the natural occurrence known as the Halona Blowhole. This lava tube extends into the ocean with a very narrow opening at the top, and when the surf is just right, water pressure builds up within the lava tube and erupts through the narrow opening creating a special Hawaiian Geyser for your viewing pleasure.
Witness Waimanalo’s dramatic sea cliffs as we turn into Oahu’s windward side as we begin our journey to the North Shore of Oahu. Look off into the azure blue waters of the bay and you will see Oahu’s famous Manana Island also known as Rabbit island due to its Rabbit like shape.
After a beautiful drive along Oahu’s eastern coastline, our next stop is a local shop that finds itself tucked away under aged Banyan Trees with macadamia nut and delicious Kona coffee tastings, along with very tempting Hawaiian chocolates amongst other treats.
Chinaman’s Hat, also known as Mokolii, is nestled right next to the Kualoa Valley Mountain range. This location is known for its dramatic landscape filmed in a number of Hollywood movies; most notably and fan favorite Jurassic Park. The island has earned the nickname Chinaman’s Hat from its resemblance to the straw hats that the Chinese immigrants wore when working Oahu’s sugar plantations during the early 1900’s.
Famous North Shore Shrimp Lunch on Local Hawaiian Farm Our guide will walk you through a local taro patch on a farm located at the base of the Koʻolau Mountain Range . Get a first hand look at how ancient Hawaiian agriculture practices live on and how to this day still manage to provide for local families to live off the land using the techniques and traditions passed down through generations. We also eat lunch at the farm. The farm has a restaurant that can prepare all of the famous North Shore delicacies. Garlic Shirmp, Coconut Shrimp, and Kalua Pork are just some of the mouth watering plates available for lunch. Vegetarian options are available. Please bring cash for lunch.
Tropical Fruit Stands After lunch we make a stop at North Shore tropical fruit stands, which offers ice cold coconuts to drink from, fresh mangos, and other tropical treats.
A change of pace from the crowded beaches of Waikiki, The infamous Sunset Beach on the North Shore offers tranquility and is the epitome of a beautiful Hawaiian Beach. However don’t lets the summer months fool you, during the winter months, swells of 30 to 40 feet can be seen from the safe confines of shore.
Hawaii Green Sea Turtle Beach Snorkeling Hono is the Hawaiian name for our beloved Green Sea Turtles. Our Honu are very Hawaiian in that they love to lay on the sand and bask under the warm sun. We take you to a beach where we spend 90 minutes hoping to spot this incredible occurrence and we will also provide snorkeling gear so guests can go for a swim and hopefully snorkel along side a green sea turtle as well. Snorkel Gear is included in the price of the tour. Please alert your guest to bring sunscreen and a towel.
Outskirts of Haleiwa Town, Pineapple, Coffee and Agricultural Fields
A historic pineapple plantation home to pineapple magnets, pineapple t-shirts, pineapple keychains and most importantly pineapple ice cream aka Dole Whip!! A great way to end the day and get some pineapple themed souvenirs for your friends and family back home.
Sandy Beach is a beach on the South Shore of Oʻahu in Hawaii. It is known for its excellent bodyboarding and bodysurfing opportunities due to shore break and consistent barrels.
Waimanalo have gorgeous white sand beaches, snorkeling with near-guaranteed honu (Hawaiian green sea turtle) sightings, several hole-in-the-wall but worth a stop eateries, roaming bands of wild chickens, and a handful of family-owned farms

This was a wonderful trip to do on our first day in Hawaii. Our guide was Raul and he was fantastic!! He was very informative and fun and he made the day very memorable for us. We got to see so much, we took great photos and the smaller group was ideal.
I was greatly looking forward to seeing the Oahu north shore. And it did not disappoint. But... Our minibus was old and we were crammed in. No shock absorbers. I have spine issues and the ride was beyond uncomfortable. The guides were sweet but offered no real information about the island. The whole thing was...that's where I like to surf...that's a nice hike...that's a nice beach we're not stopping at... I would have liked some history. We passed where captain cook landed with no explanation. Even a history of surfing in Hawaii would have been cool. Stopped for a mediocre lunch overlooking a truck park. Meh. Conditions for turtles not great. Not tours fault! Also 2 annoying stops. No education about how special macadamia nuts are. And the dole stop was so short you had no time to even take a tour. Just buy an overpriced dole whip that you can get anywhere. I'm glad we went but not sure about the enthusiasm for this tour. Great guys...meh experience.

I had an incredible day with Tour guide Benji on this small tour of Oahu as a solo traveller from Australia. Weather to start the day post hurricane was atrocious and raining, but Benji did everything in his power to make sure it was still memorable! When we couldn’t see any turtles snorkelling due to the quality of the water, he drove to every beach and secret location to ensure the people on the tour who hadn’t got to see a turtle, got to experience that! Ultimately finding us the biggest turtle sunning itself on a secluded beach - incredible! Benji was always super accomodating, happy to chat and take photos of everyone and by the end of the the day, the positive energy of the experience brought out the sunshine and we all got burnt, a major turnaround weather wise from the start of the morning! I was 10000/10 recommend this tour to anyone visiting Waikiki, especially if Australian!!

Incredible day exploring Oahu with guide Benji! Weather was not in our favour post hurricane, with rain leaving waikiki and the beaches not as blue as they’d usually be, but he did everything he could to make it memorable. When we couldn’t see turtles whilst snorkelling, he made sure to stop and search every beach for a turtle for the people who had never seen one before, which resulted in everyone seeing a massive turtle sunning itself on a little random beach outside of pipeline! Benji was so knowledgeable, knew everyone and everything and was personable and happy to assist with taking photos at all times. Such a memorable day with a great group of people made even better by a great guide! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hawaii, especially if from Australia!!

Unfortunately due to the recent storms the water was too cloudy to snorkel with the turtles but we did take an extra stop to get to see some on a very nice beach. Excellent tour guide and the lunch was delicious!

Excellent experience! Our family of 5 had a blast. The booking was easy. The small van was comfortable. The owner Benji was great to deal with and our tour guy, Greg, was very knowledgeable sharing information about sights in between stops that made the travel fun. It was a an excellent way to see and do a lot in a half day. Highly recommend it. Our youngest said it was his favorite day of the trip!
My boyfriend and I had a great time! It was so fun and everyone was incredible. Our guide Mike was super friendly and knowledgeable and gave excellent advice and tips and shared so much info about the island. Cousin Wilbur, our driver was really kind and a great driver! Everything was so smooth and easy. Snorkeling was easily the highlight of this experience. Cousin Mole was our lifeguard for turtle snorkeling and he is amazing! He was available to anyone who needed help with their gear and with swimming. There were so many turtles visible for our group and he even helped us to get a better look at them in the water. It was unforgettable. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this tour and this great group of guys!
An Unforgettable Family Memory (Aunt-Approved!) We booked the Turtle tour out of Honolulu for a family morning out, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our time in Oahu. We made many (too many fabulous stops ! Saw turtles ) Benjy our tour guide was great ! Traveling with a multi-generational group-including a young child and my older Aunt- can sometimes make activities tricky to plan, but this experience balanced everyone's needs perfectly.
Raul was awesome. The tour was not only a site seeing tour but informational and educational too. Raul had the eyes to see sea turtles from the road and especially when we stopped. We even saw a seal (very rare) on the beach. The snorkeling was fun and we were able to see many sea turtles. Raul even pulled us aside and gave us neat tips for the rest of our vacation. This is a great way to see A LOT of Oahu!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Turtle Tours in Honolulu! Benji, the owner and operator, is an absolute joy and made the entire day unforgettable. He customized the tour with fascinating Hawaiian cultural information and several scenic stops that we never would have discovered on our own. The snorkeling was amazing, and we were lucky enough to see both sea turtles and Hawaiian monk seals in their natural habitat! WOW this far exceeded my expectations. Nevin was the best tour guide I’ve ever had! We learned so so so much about the island, saw so many sights, and had so much fun. The stops were perfectly timed and chosen. Only 10 people in our bus but I believe it holds up to 13. I recommend going at the start of your trip so you can see everything then choose where you want to revisit! I really can’t say enough good things about Nevin - he was the best! Tip him well! :)
We had a great day out on our tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a wonderful experience throughout the day. We saw a sea turtle up on the beach which was just amazing! The 'life guard' staff who helped us with the snorkeling aspect was also amazing. I am not a confident swimmer and was very anxious to go in the water. He took me aside and helped me calm myself and spent some one on one time with me to ensure I was able to enjoy the experience and see some coral and fish. By the end I was confident and snorkelling off by myself. He was really lovely and I am very grateful for his help. It was a great little day tour. Couldn't spend too long at each stop but it gave a good look into the different parts of the island and was a very enjoyable day. Would definitely recommend :)
They tried but the roads were flooded. Give 5 stars to the driver for trying. A lot of rain. We tried two different roads, and had to turn back.

This is must do tour for all who want to do and hear about Hawaii. Bevin was an outstanding guide, very knowledgable in ALL things Hawaii. He encouraged questions and was very easy going, allowing us to enjoy the stops. We saw whales, sea turtles in and out of the water, and saw tropical fish while snorkling. Best of all, he had a very knowledgable and dedicated lifeguard watching over us snorkling rookies. They answered all texts both before and after the tour. I will be back will the rest of my family and wont go without Nevin!

We had a great experience. Mike is a very knowledgeable, fun tour guide. Pablo is a great, friendly driver. They pointed out many places and gave us insider tips. The weather was a little cool and rainy but we snorkeled and saw lots of turtles. It was a great day and it’s a good idea to do this early in your trip to get ideas for making the most of your stay!
