Trip was very interesting. Jay Lee was a great guide and taught us so much about the history of the area and we saw many interesting sights.

The Pali Lookout is also famous for its powerful, howling winds. As you stand at the Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout, you’ll quickly see why it’s considered one of Oahu's top scenic spots, feeling the wind press against you, hearing it whistle through the mountains, and taking in the stunning views of the island’s lush Windward Coast. Perched high above Oahu, the Pali Lookout holds deep historical importance. The word “Pali” means “cliff” in Hawaiian, and this site marks the location of the 1795 Battle of Nuuanu, where King Kamehameha I secured victory and unified the island under his rule. The intense battle resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives, with many warriors driven over the lookout’s steep cliffs.
The Byodo-In Temple is located at the foot of the Ko'olau Mountains in Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. It was established on June 7, 1968, to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii. The Byodo-In Temple in O'ahu is a smaller-scale replica of the over 950-year-old Byodo-in Temple, a United Nations World Heritage Site in Uji, Japan. Discover the serene beauty of Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, nestled against the majestic Ko'olau Mountains. Our lush gardens, stunning vistas, and sacred temples create a tranquil setting for eternal rest and reflection.

Our guide Keoki was fabulous. We went to all the spots we wanted to see. The food at Pounders was great.
This was a great tour around Oahu! Great tour guide who shared a lot of knowledge about the island! Love the island!
Our guide/driver was Kilimi and he was congenial, punctual, knowledgeable, and very funny. He was also accommodating. We really loved the small group tour. There were only 4 of us and Kilimi. It was the perfect way to see the island!
Great complete tour. Tour guide was great, friendly and knowledgeable. What I would’ve liked to know is they don’t allow bags unless they are clear. Knowing this I would’ve packed a clear bag from home.
Very informative and breathtaking views had a great time driver was the best could not have been better will do it again when we come back
We had a fantastic day with Anthony. We were looking for a North Shore tour with several stops. Anthony was more than accommodating and very, very knowledgeable We were a family of 14 including a 3 month old, a 3 year, 4 year and y year old along with 10 adults. I would 100% recommend this company.
Very interesting full circle island tour. Getting out and seeing more of the island and learning more of island life and hawaii history and culture was great. Ian was a very friendly and professional guide, I would definitely recommend this tour and guide.
What an absolutely incredible day our driver and guide provided to the group. Love that is was just five of us. He was informative, in gagging, professional, respectful with a great personality and attitude. Probably one of the best tours I’ve been on. Waikiki, Honolulu and it’s surrounding areas are very busy with traffic, we ran into a couple traffic jams but our guide was able to navigate in a way that insured we didn’t waist anytime and made sure we spent or time taking in this beautiful island.. Thank you so much for an incredible exhausting day, in the best way and to the four other guests that made this day a complete joy and blessing.
Chuck was great and entertaining took his time and we learned a lot about the island and history Awesome time had by all
Driver Chuck deserves 5 stars, great personal stories. Viator, the itinerary I signed up for was not the itinerary we received. Half of the stops were places we'd already seen. The list on the web site doesn't match what we actually got.
this was so amazing, our guide Randy was amazing, we hit all the must stop places, i am so very glad we did this and we enjoyed every stop !!
A good overview of the island. So many spots, we would not even know about had we not done this tour. It’s a long day but Eric are Driver/guide made things go quickly. He was very knowledgeable.
It was great that we went around the island but the tour was not very informative nor there was any educational background.
Awesome tour guide. Great day seeing the beautiful island of oahu. Wonderful waves. Loved pineapple plantation.
It was cancelled the day before bue to low booking. We booked another island tour through pur hotel which was disappointing.
Our tour guide was brilliant, engaging and funny! The coastal sights were breath taking and the tour of the Dole Plantation was educational. The Island Circle tour was definitely a favorite excursion and we highly recommend it to others.
Our tour guide Arlaine was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. This tour was well worth our time. The scenery and stops were excellent.
Had a great time ! Learned a lot and got some to see the beautiful views. Definitely recommend ,So book .
Tour guide was very friendly and describe about the places we toured at. At the beginning of the tour I was looking for the license plate that was sent via email. He stepped out and explained what happened. Luckily the weather was great at the beginning and slightly raining at the end of the tour. Tour guide gave us enough time to tour the different places. Thank you!
Not worth the cost~ first few stops were nice because they were local scenery, but all the other stops are at tourist trap locations that feature gift shop items / souvenirs with “free coffee”. Most of the items for sale at these shops can be found at the ABC Store. If souvenir shopping is your thing, you might not mind the trip….. just wasn’t ours. If you go on the tour on a Sunday, note that many places at the food truck stop are closed, so your options are limited. The Kualoa Ranch stop only allows you to look through their gift shop, nothing beyond. The temple stop is a drive through a cemetery and then a stop at a temple which is owned by a Texan - it isn’t an active temple . There isn’t anything to see other than another gift shop and some Koi fish. There is a big gong you can ring if you stand in a long line. If you have a rental car, you can easily do this drive on your own without having to stop at souvenir shops and wait on the others in your group to show up late to the van. Our tour driver was sweet, but didn’t usually drive this route, so there wasn’t much island information given.
Excellent tour. There were a total of 4 people on the tour. I really enjoyed the small group. The tour guide was excellent. We got to take a trip around the island all in one day and we walked away with plenty of pictures to commemorate the experience.
Our tour was spectacular seeing such aa huge part of Oahu. I woukd highly recommend. There is so many beautiful areas to see.
Roro was the best tour guide we ever had! Very knowledgeable of the island and delivers everything with a smile on her face and a giggle 🤭 we had so much fun during our tour no dull moment all throughout. Highly recommend her. She’s awesome 🤩
We never went on this tour due to a major miscommunication on the part of Karma Tours and Viator. Please check any tours that are booked as viator contracts with local tour companies. Very disappointed.
Very pleased to see island away from Waikiki Beach. 8-person shuttle was excellent. Great viewing through windows. Enjoyed the natural beauty of the trip. Suggested revision: Minimize the repititive comments. For example, each time we drove by the three to four different golf courses, our driver said: "$30,000 memebership fee each year and $600 cost for each round of golf". Seems unlikely. Not interested. Suggested revision: Change the "dining stop" from Tanakas to other. The outside dining tables were pestered by flies. Six choices of shrimp. One choice of chicken tenders.
We saw so many different parts of the island. Hema was so nice. She shared many personal experiences with us. It gave a reality to the devastation of the lava flows. Very pleasant trip.
Ro-Ro was wonderful! Her storytelling was very interesting, including her personal experiences with her family and the island. We learned a lot during our tour and visited some beautiful places. I would highly recommend this tour. And ask for Ro-Ro!
Great way to start the morning. Good coffee and breakfast! The captain and crew were very friendly and attentive to everyone. Highly recommend.
I cannot actually tell you how the tour was because we didn't take it. We planned to. Booked our reservations 2 months in advance. Only to have them cancel, the night before at 8 pm. (We did get our money refunded and quickly) While I hope they didn't have to cancel for health or personal reasons, it still left us stranded. I tried until late that evening and the next morning to book a similar tour with someone else and was told the same thing by everyone. You have to book these in advance they sell out quickly. We had a very enjoyable day at Waikiki Beach, so I know I shouldn't complain. But we didn't get to see the other parts of the island.
Operator sent an an email 1 day in advance moving the pickup 1 hour earlier (7 AM) then showed up 1 1/4 hours late due entirely to their poor planning around cruise customers needing to clear customs, something every cruise customer knows. Tour guide talked constantly and excitedly but actually conveyed little information , often pointing features out after the bus had passed them. Was quite difficult to understand. I can’t honestly recommend this tour operator, Hawaiian Tours.
Can't really rate the tour it was canceled by the group you contracted out , Karma Tours, about 1 hour before scheduled pick-up.
We had Arlaine as our driver and tour guide. She was amazing. She made the tour way more enjoyable! She was very knowledgeable. It's definitely worth taking this tour. Maybe I'm biased because we had such a great tour guide. I liked that I decided to chose the small group. Thank you Arlaine for the great day!
Unfortunately, the most memorable thing about this tour was everything we did not get to see: Amelia Earhart's Marker, Green World Coffee Farms Green World Coffee, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve (and since your website said it was closed Monday and Tuesday we chose to go on Sunday and even then it was closed so your website was misleading). And even to see the Kualoa ranch, we had to ask the driver to stop, even though it was on the itinerary.. We did not get to see much at all on this tour that was on the itinerary and we would like a refund.
Heme did amazing job. Explained everything on the tour the whole time. Kept us engaged. Took us to multiple sightseeing locations throughout the entire island. I love it.
Hema was a wonderful tour guide! She was so knowledgeable and willing to help us take photos at every stop. We got lucky with the size of our tour group (only 5 people), so the experience was very intimate and felt like a private tour! The tour was comprehensive and definitely worth the price.
Stories about island life. The stops we made were great, some for scenery and some for island culture.
Not impressed seeing Dole plantation since we had 15 mins. Nothing was special in that bldg unless we take tour. All day trip but no lunch or breakfast was provided. Also it would be better if there was a bigger bus or 15 pass van. This was mini van and it was get in and out every stop. Driver was great and very knowledgeable. Thanks again. We enjoyed it
Our tour guide Humu Humu was so fun and made the experience that much better!! 100% recommend to everyone!
Beautiful day and great guide. Alaina made it so fun and personable. She really worked hard at including everyone. What a delightful soul! Thank you
Ian was a knowledgable tour guide who took us to many places and shared the fun facts about them. All the stops had fun things to do or stunning views. Definitely must-do while in Honolulu.
The actual tour company, Karma, was great! The only problem I had was with Viator! Viator gave me a different address for the tour pickup location. Thank goodness Karama contacted me the night before to confirm and that’s when I noticed the address they gave me was different than what Viator gave me. I could have missed the tour.
For first timers, this island tour is excellent. An eight hour tour isn’t enough time to see everything, but what was covered gave me a good orientation to want to come back and experience attractions with renewed interest and focus. All of Oahu’s natural island highlights were covered with the right amount of depth and then some. Kudos go out to Hema, our guide, for her wealth of knowledge, and for keeping us engaged. She handled our small group of six and evenly divided her attention to make us feel valued. I wish there was more choice on the lunch selection however.
This is a great trip for a first time visitor to the island. It gives you a sense of where things are. Just note that it is a full day trip.
A very elated experience. The nine hour tour covered the entire island and made very interesting, memorable and enjoyable by our tour guide cum driver Ms RO-RO with actual first name with 36 letters. Gave us real insight into Island culture, heritage and traditions. Thanks.
Our tour guide was excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the tour and our tour guide.
Stoping at beautiful ocean sites. And having a tour guide very knowledgeable about Hawaii. This being our first visit to Waikiki, this tour was worth it!
It was an amazing experience with Will, our tour guide. We did learn a lot as visitors about Oahu. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the island history. We enjoyed it very much and it was worth the time and experience. If you don’t know where to go when arriving in Oahu, book a tour with Karma Tour. I promise it was a great one!!!
RoRo was our driver and she made sure we had a great experience. It rained literally the whole day. She was so informative and we enjoyed the tour with her.
Ro was a wonderful tour guide! She taught us the history of Hawaii and the Oahu towns we visited! This tour allowed you to see so much in one day and not feel rushed.
