The driver Leena was murmuring though out the trip, but none was audible in the fourth row and back, even though the sound system was good when musicwere played. She didn’t correct herself even after she was told.
The driver is not in a condition to operate a bus. She has issues with her temperament, health concerns, and limited flexibility when it comes to handling and resolving situations Additionally, the company does not take responsibility for completing the full tour or for resolving issues that fall under its responsibility, such as providing a functioning bus and ensuring that the tour is carried out as scheduled and in its entirety.
The island tour was an absolute disappointment for my husband and me. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to snorkel or see fish or turtles like we had hoped. The day felt like a lot of driving with many unnecessary stops, and we ended up wasting an entire day of our vacation. Honestly, we could have taken a bus around the island ourselves, spent more time at the beautiful beaches, and had a much better experience. The final stop was especially disappointing. It was supposed to be the location where we would spend over an hour snorkeling, but the water was brown and unappealing, and there was no way we would even consider getting in to swim. That being said, our tour guide was incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and took amazing pictures for everyone at a beautiful beach stop. The lunch was also very good, although it cost an additional $20. We also got a laugh out of how often the driver pointed out chickens and 7-Elevens along the way — it became a running joke during the tour. The highlight of the entire experience was the Dole Plantation for local dole whip with la’hine powder, looking back, I truly wish we hadn’t spent our first day in Hawaii on this tour. I would highly recommend getting a bus pass and tour, The island yourself.
Tour guide was well informed had a good itinerary planned with plenty of stops and points to interest to visit got a good feel for the island
Tour guide Sarah was polite, prompt and safe. The shoreline route was very scenic. However: The lunch stop was decent but infested with flies. Annoying and just not ok. We could barely hear Sarah over the van’s loudspeaker. Sarah did not offer any background to places we saw or passed by. for example: “cemetery on the right”, or “school on the left,” or “white sand beach on right”. Very little or no context / understanding of what we viewed. Sorry, tour could have been better & more engaging.
Except for our tour guide Summer and the scenery everything was not as advertised. Except for our tour guide Summer and the scenery the rest was a disaster . Vehicle pictured was the same as our three other reservations that held 1-12 passengers making our family of 8 think we had a personal tour. Not even close. Bus that came made multiple pickups for more more than thirty people. With a family of eight and a wheelchair we sat furthest back. Big mistake ! The air conditioning was not working ! The bus needed new shocks very hard ride unlike our other 3 tours. Snacks and cold drinks were promised on our signup sheet when I paid for this tour but none were provided. Waiting to hear from Viator as to a refund.
We had a wonderful day touring the city and seeing and learning about the culture and areas of the city
We had a good day with Mr. Schneider, allways friendly and helpful, open for everything possible during the tour, excellent background. The tour fully met our expectations! Good luck for future and keep on ...
It was wonderful to share the experience met some local and they have the kindest heart I’d ever seen, really love and enjoy the culture
It was a tool worth every penny. The tour guide. What's funny, relatable, entertaining? With a great personality, my phone was out of battery, and I was not able to leave a message. So i'm glad you guys contacted me
Cousin Guy was our tour guide driver. He did an excellent job of instructing us on the rules and information on the history. He made everyone feel cared for and protected! Like we were family! The tour itself, not enough time to fully appreciate the sights but it definitely gives you an idea of the island. Which was stunning and people are friendly and helpful. I wish I was still there!
Saw all the sights that we expected to see and they were gorgeous. But rushed through the northern beaches and stopped randomly at other places. The lunch was awful - dry and tasteless. Our driver was not fully acquainted with all relevant facts (A-bomb dropped on Nagasaki in 1942, over 1,000 killed in Maui fire, as two examples) which made us questions all his other statements.
We were picked up on time and our friendly driver gave us a wonderful full day out seeing the best of Oahu. Also had time for a swim which pleased my grandson! There were many stops on the way and sufficient time to enjoy them. Highly recommended.
We had a great time on Oct 23,24 doing the Grand Circle Island North Shore, specially because our tour guide was so welcoming, a happy and kind young man, very knowledgeable of Hawaii landscape and history. From the moment we stepped in the van we felt very comfortable. The scenery was breath taking, the whole experience was wonderful! I highly recommend this fun filled day of sightseeing ! Unfortunately I don't remember our driver/ tourist guide name, since we did other day trips while in Hawaii, and it's being a few months since we did that trip, but it was lovely 😍 👌
We had a lovely time on this tour, seeing several attractions. The guide was a local and had wonderful stories. There were enough things for our kids to do and stops for local snacks which helped too. We picked this tour over others because we felt the cost was worth it for all that was involved but not too much with us going as a family. The bus was small and hot without AC. The guide let their political views show a few times. Overall we would highly recommend this tour and company. Cost plus local guide was worth it. Just mind the temperature when you book.
We booked this tour on arrival in Hawaii . On the day we were at the collection point but the driver was on another adjacent street . I explained that my wife was waiting there and he said go and get her ! We got on the bus but could not secure our seatbelts . I pointed this out to the driver and he said it was an old bus . He was right about that . It was old and dirty . Anyway travelling around Waikiki we picked up a total of 5 more passengers . The driver then introduced himself as Cousin Guy and tried to be funny . The last lady to board the bus was wearing a string perfume which affected my wife and led to her putting a towel round her face . Our new found cousin asked was she ok and she said no but he just ignored it . We then asked the driver could he stop to let my wife purchase a mask at one of the ABC stores . He refused and said he couldn’t stop . We then decided this wasn’t going to work as my wife felt sick and we decided to get off the bus and leave the tour . We did get an immediate refund which was good . I would suggest for people not to use this tour company as they have old vehicles and their drivers don’t understand customer service . We did go on another private tour a few days later and it was great .
Great place and wonderful people. Had a great trip with them. Stopped at various places and got enough time to take pictures and relax.
Booked the tour through the typical random street vendors around Waikiki. They were very kind but inevitably messed up our booking, finding us sitting roadside the next morning at 630am with no actual tour booked. Called the tour company at 7am and the kind gentleman dropped everything, found us 5 seats on a bus, and had us all on the tour in no time with nothing lost. The tour was beautiful with the typical stops accompanied by amazing, knowledgeable local guide, but the most memorable moment was how the company went above and beyond to quickly reverse failure and turn it into fantastic! thank you!
Uncle Gus was knowledgeable communicative about points of interest supplied us with cold beverages just for us he won’t even allow his boss to have one lol saw a lot in a short time interesting seeing the Panda Express compound wasn’t expecting that
We had a wonderful time so much to see and tons of pictures. We did this on our last day as we left at 11 pm. It was great be able to see more of the island.
Excellent tour to see many of the highlights of Oahu Island. Plenty of opportunities for pictures, sightseeing and shopping. Bus driver was very knowledgeable and accommodating to passenger requests.
Returning to Oahu after 9 years I looked forward to the Circle Oahu tour as one of the memorable days in previous trips to Hawaii. Not with this company. We spent time chasing down rest stops and allowing people to overstay time shopping at rest stops. My memories of the north shore beaches were dampened by the lack luster swoosh through the north shore with bushes along the road and no surf seen. The day was windy but no surf? WE just did not stop for a look. Shopping appeared a major agenda as too much time was spent at the Dole Pineapple store. if not shopping there was nothing, not even a sample of pineapple! The macadamian nut store at least had samples but was not Mauna Loa brand or a sealed can store. Just bags of loose macadamians in a road side stand. Not great gifts. so we drove 122 miles to see lots of fancy houses, some coastline and occasionally an overlook. Not stopping for any awesome expereience in the 8 hours Lackluster day.
I just loved this tour! It showed plenty of places and it was just amazing! I especially loved the visit to Pineapple man Jay, such a cool person! I also enjoyed seeing plenty of turtles
This is a Great Tour. Very much Recommended for family, couples, solo, anyone. We had a great time last December. Would do it again.
The tour around the amazing Oahu was nothing short of spectacular. I highly recommend jumping on the tour bus and being shown the places and beautiful culture! My highlight was Perl harbour museum and the cultural heritage centre.
Our tour guide cousin guy was knowledgeable and funny. We had an excellent experience on this tour and my fave is lunch which is spicy garlic shrimps.
