Itinerary
(Diamond Head Lookout, not crater) Diamond Head is a volcanic crater and was formed more than 300,000 years ago. It is now one of the most popular visitor attractions in Oahu. We will stop at the lookout on Diamond Head Beach Road for you to enjoy the scenery of the beach.
Pass by - Famous for its beautiful natural landscape, Hanauma Bay Lookout is located on the southeast coast of Oahu Island. It is a cone-shaped volcanic bay, and a marine ecosystem full of coral reefs and fish thrive here.
Halona Blowhole is a rock formation formed by lava flows that made natural holes in the rocks thousands of years ago. The rock formation shoots up the sea water into the air when the tide is strong and windy. Next to the Blowhole is the Eternity Beach, where From Here to Eternity was filmed.
Sandy Beach, also known as Breakneck Beach among locals, is a popular bodysurf spot. Big shorebreaks cause many injuries to inexperienced bodysurfers. This will be the first restroom stop.
As one of the hidden gems in Oahu, Byodo-In Temple was completed in 1968 to commemorate 100th anniversary of the first Japanese immigrant to Hawaii. It was built to replicate a Buddhist temple, Byōdō-in, in Japan. The temple is also featured in American drama LOST.
Tropical Farm Macadamia Nut is located on the east coast of Oahu and is a great place to shop gifts and snacks. The outlet offers Kona Coffee and Macadamia Nut tasting stations.
Kualoa Regional Park is a famous photo spot with a background of a small island called Mokoli’I. Mokoli’I, also known as Chinaman’s Hat to locals for its unique shape, is a basalt islet. You will have the opportunity to take photos of Koolau Mountain in the background.
(Subject to change depending on traffic and schedule) Hawaii's staple dish, Garlic Shrimp Plate is one of the must-try food items when visiting Hawaii. Lunch (North Shore): Casual outdoor dining at famous local food trucks (not a sit-down restaurant; at own expense).
Sunset Beach is one of the three hosting beaches for Triple Crown of Surfing, which takes place in December and January of every year. As a famous beach for great surfing location, Sunset Beach boasts big waves.
Dole Plantation is one of Oahu's most popular tourist attractions and welcomes over a million visitors a year. There are many unique souvenir items in the gift shop. You can enjoy a variety of snacks, sweets, and beverages. Don’t forget to try a refreshing Pineapple ice cream!

Overall, most of the information in the listing was accurate, and we enjoyed having the opportunity to see different parts of Oahu in one day. The driver was also helpful and did a good job improvising when certain locations listed in the tour itinerary were not visited. However, there are a few areas of the listing that need attention and should be corrected. For example, the listing states that bottled water is included, but water was not provided during our tour. This was particularly important for me because I have a health condition that makes staying properly hydrated essential. Additionally, we did not visit some of the areas that were specifically included in the advertised itinerary. While I appreciated the driver's efforts to adjust the tour and provide alternative experiences, it would be helpful if the listing clearly reflected what guests can realistically expect to see. Overall, the tour was a good experience, but I recommend that the company update the listing to accurately reflect the inclusions and itinerary, especially regarding bottled water and the locations visited. The driver’s ability to improvise was appreciated, but guests should be able to rely on the information provided when booking.
Lee was very knowledgeable and fun. We had an awesome time!!!!!! I would highly recommend this tour.
That the bus driver was every informative and he was also great he new a lot about Hawaii and it was fun
This is an outstanding tour to see the island and learn about the area. Mr. Lee was our driver and very knowledgeable. Incredible lunch spot too.
Great tour of the island. Lee was knowledgeable and very helpful. Tour was organized well for our own set of 15 people
Very interesting tour, a bit too much time in the van. We visited every place as described in the description of the tour. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and made things a little bit uncomfortable, as we weren’t prepared for the rain and cold temperatures. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time and learn lots about the island.
Me and my family enjoyed every second of this tour. We loved the tour guy, he was so informative! The group was small so he made more stops then usual. The other group kept showing up so late whenever we stopped somewhere which was so disappointing. While we were waiting for the other group, our tour guy told us stories and facts about Hawaii which kept us intrigued.
Very little time is spent at each stop. Our tour included 2 non-English speaking groups who spoke continuously. Might be good to have individual headsets so we could hear the tour guide. When the guide is not speaking, appropriate music could be playing. For a six hour tour, van space is cramped for passengers over 5'7".
This tour was super enjoyable. Just about the right amount of time at each stop. I wouldn't have been able to see all these great locations without the tour. This is a great way to see a lot in a day. Our Tour Guide Kaps was super fun and engaging as well. Highly recommend.
Great way to see the island and its beauty. Tyler was our guide, and his local knowledge and love for the place shined through! Saw things we might not have seen otherwise. Tyler enhanced the tour with his historical knowledge and sharing personal experiences. Highly recommend this tour!
A must do experience! We’ve traveled to Hawaii several times and this tour did not disappoint. It was our 25 year anniversary so we booked several events for the week! John, the tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. John, the driver, was very courteous and kept us safe throughout the trip. During the tour, we visited lots of locations and it gave us ideas of other locations where we’d like to revisit. It was a great way to tour island. I’m glad we booked this trip. Thank you so much to both of the Johns! You truly made the trip truly enjoyable.
We enjoyed the places the bus stopped at. However, there were several other places on the itinerary that we would have liked to stop at instead of just driving past: Diamond Head, Hanauma Bay, Sunset Beach, Sandy Beach Park. The guide was very attentive and gave a lot of information.
Wonderful experience the tour guide was very helpful and very informative. Saw many wonderful sights on the island.
This was an amazing tour. It was our first time in Hawaii and this tour gave us the opportunity to see many of the sites as well as learn about Hawaii's history and culture. Lunch at the Polynesian Culture Center was included.
This is a must do tour. RJ was great very knowledgable, entertaining and told us about the island culture and language. The dole plantation and macadamia nut farm was awesome as well as the temple. We had a great time.
It goes to sights as advertised. We heard “ wiki wiki” at most locations by our tour guide. Not sure why? We finished tour 1 hr early? Could have used the time watching surfers or turtles.
Great way to see and learn about the island, knowledgeable and friendly tour. Would recommend to anyone b that this is a must to do
We love everything in our tour, in every stops he let us take a picture. Make to book this tour to have IAN as your tour guide, he can explain everything. We are so satisfied in our tour.
Tyler was an extremely knowledgeable guide. He was very accommodating stopping for photos often and taking our picture for us There was only 4 of us on the tour, so he was able to provide personable attention. He took us to a great lunch place, made bathroom stops as necessary, provided ice cold water and made several great suggestions.
Spectacular day! There were only 4 of us so it was a very personal tour. Our driver was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information. My goal this trip to Oahu was to see Byodo-in Temple and found very few options to get there from the ship pier. This excursion typically picks up at Waikiki hotels but made an exception to come to the pier because of a quiet day, I guess. We really did a whole Oahu circle loop. Diamond Head, Halona Blow Hole, Byodo-In Temple, Macademia Nut Farm, Dole Pineapple ranch, best and most popular food truck for lunch on the north shore, quaint town of Haleiwa for shopping. Because we were just a few people, our driver asked us our wishes and timing. Sunset Beach was to be a drive by, but because it is my favorite beach and we had time, he allowed us a few minutes there (don’t count on this tho). Spectacular day!
Me and wife came to Hawaii to for the first time to celebrate our honeymoon. We were extremely grateful to have Tyler as our tour guide. He made the long journey a very fun one to say the least. He pointed out so many cool facts about the islands and trees. We would definitely recommend to book with Tyler!!
We had initially booked the tour that included the botanical gardens and Waimea waterfall, but the tour company called the day before to inform us that our driver was ill and we were switched to the Byodo-In temple tour. We were disappointed as my wife was particularly hoping to see the botanical gardens (she is a florist), but we understand that these things happen. While we didn’t get the exact tour we had wanted, our guide RJ and driver Shaun made for a great day. RJ was extremely knowledgeable , entertaining and personable and Shaun stayed cool and collected while navigating us through some tight parking situations. Great work guys! Hopefully I’m remembering this correctly … hunu hunu nuku nuku a`poa 🙂
Touring the temple and the drive along the North Shore were spectacular. This is an easy paced tour that lets you see the real Oahu, especially if you are fortunate enough to have a native born driver like Tyler. Great knowledge and funny.
Our group was small and Tyler was our driver. Very knowledgeable and added great commentary to what we were seeing. Offered to take our pictures too. Saw a lot of beautiful scenery. Well worth the money.
The Driver was so knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Each stop provided spectacular views and the bus was very comfortable. Highly recommend this tour!
It was awesome and our driver was tops Anytime again We saw an awful lot with great explanations, my friends and myself would do it anytime again, for sure next time I’m in Hawaii
The tour guide was not a tour guide, he was a driver. He was very nice and a very pleasant man but he was NOT a tour guide. His contribution to the tour was to point out at least 20 times his sightings of wild chickens and the occasional cow. It was raining and the tour should have been cancelled and money refunded. But they wanted the tour money apparently. Trying to alleviate the boredom we began asking about things we saw. His response; "I don't know, Google it."
It was awesome. Our tour guide was so informative. All the stops were great. Many places tp take family photos with beautiful scenery
Driver was friendly and tried to be informative. The lunch at the food truck was awful. Had to use your hands to peel shrimp, smelled like garlic all day. Too long at the dole factory. Not much to see at the Byodo Temple Not enough about the lifestyle on Oahu. I would not recommend this to others
This was a very comprehensive tour. There is no part of it that I would say overshadowed the rest as each experience was excellent. Actually, there was ONE aspect that truly stood out above all the rest. That part was called Matthew. Our tour guide, Matthew, was a true gem. His driving kept us safe and comfortable, his commentary excelled, and his answers to all our questions were interesting, complete, and often witty. Thank you, Matthew, for our wonderful first day in Honolulu.
We had the BEST time! Our guide was knowledgeable and personable, just what we needed! It was a great mix of sights and things we didn’t know we needed to know. It was the best tour we did when we were there. I wish all my tours were like this one. If you don’t like crowds, this is the tour for you!
It was my first time in Hawaii and I did not know what to expect. Our driver was amazing!! He was very knowledge, kind, and professional. He also knew the best places to eat. He recommended a couple, and they were amazing!! I was so happy with our driver, and all the things we were able to see in this tour. Highly recommend it
Absolutely LOVED this tour. I wish I could remember my guides name, but he was fantastic. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned. It’s the perfect way to see the whole island. We did this the first day so we could get an idea of what we may want to explore further
Loved this tour! It has been our favorite tour so far. We did this tour within the first couple of days we were on the island. It takes you to so many different areas/places for just enough time to experience it & decide which areas we really loved so we could go back there and spend more time another day. If we hadn’t gone on this tour, we definitely wouldn’t have a good holistic view of the whole island. Naser, our guide (& friend by the end of the day), was awesome! He definitely made our tour special and was so informative. I wish he could be our tour guide for all of our tours! I absolutely recommend this tour! The breathtaking beauty and the fun, non touristy food truck village we stopped at for lunch are great memories we will have forever!
Our family wasn't sure what more we could possibly experience on the last day of our 8 day island stay, but Naser asked all the right questions, had all the right answers, and made our Circle Island Tour one to never forget! Starting with Malasadas from The most convenient place, to ending up 'on top of the world' looking down on Honolulu and Diamond Head to Pearl Harbor from Tantalus Lookout! Thanks Naser for the wonderful tour...with a personal touch!
We had a great time. Our driver was super friendly, and traveling in a small group is great because you don’t get left behind, and it makes the tour a little more flexible. The only issue we had was that as we were the last to be picked up, we were in the back of the van, which is fine, but it also meant we couldn’t hear very much as the driver didn’t have a microphone. He did try his best to make sure we heard, but it was hard for him to be yelling and sometimes we still couldn’t understand anyway. That part was a little disappointing because we felt a little left out while everyone else was listening. But all in all, the locations were great, our driver was really awesome, and we had a great time!
Great tour that lasted the complete 8 hours. Our driver was on time and was very funny. He made jokes and kept us informed about everything we were passing and about all our stops. Nasu was a great tour guide and I would recommend this tour to any one.
The Byodo-In Temple is just wonderful. A great way for tourists to see the island. A great day had by all of us. Thank you to Nasar our tour guide and driver.
Tour was very good. All the stops were great. Check it out on- line. Our favorite was the macadamia farm and coffee. There were several samples of coffee and macadamia nuts to try. All were very good. Do not buy any coffee or macadamia nuts where the hotels are located, way too pricey. Buy when on the tour, much cheaper. The Japanese temple was very interesting.
Loved seeing some of the popular Oahu attractions! Our tour guide Freddie was both knowledgeable and entertaining. And the families we ended up going on the tour with were awesome.
Amazing personal tour with another couple. Oir tour guides was super funny and knowledgeable. I almost wished this tour was longer because we all had such a great time!
Way to long. The places we stopped were not at all worthy of the money for the tour. The guide was great but these tours and stops were worth the money we paid and to purchase and tip was on top of that was outrageous.
One of the funnest and most informative tours we’ve done. So many things to see in one day, yet, our tour guide didn’t rush us at all. And he was an amazing tour guide! Fun stops, like the Dole Plantation. Beautiful stops on the beaches of the North Shore. And an incredible stop at the beautiful Byodo-In Temple. This tour had it all. We had a wonderful time!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and great ambassador for Hawaii. We learned a lot during the tour. Saw so much that we wouldn't have found if on our own, glad we took the tour for sure!
The guide was excellent. We enjoyed seeing the sights and the Dole pineapple ice cream. The stop for famous donuts was great. We even got to see surfers at Sunset Beach as the waves were up.
The entire trip was a very pleasant surprise and experience. Our Guide was superb...personal touches, knowledge, driving skills. Didn't expect to see the ENTIRE island!!!!
Perfect trip to enjoy the natural beauty of Oahu. The drive along the coastal highway is an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend this tour to everybody.
Our guide Naser was very knowledgable and gave us a very memorable tour around Oahu. We saw all the highlights of the island as outlined for this tour and was given adequate time to enjoy some of the special delights on offer around the island like the Dole Plantation whip and the Giovanni shrimp food truck for lunch. Naser also took the trouble to show us a few extra sights not included like the statue of King Kamehameha and the Iolani Palace. He also went out of his way to enable us to get the Malasadas (donut) which was to die for like he said. His driving was safe and comfortable and he was very patient, informative and punctual. Highly recommended and ask for Naser.
Thanks to our tour guide for making our experience really awesome!!! The Itinerary of the trip was planned well to give a really nice experience for first time visitors
