North Shore Farm: Anahulu River, Kayak-sup, Turtles, Lunch & More

The Tsue Farm staff were great, it's more a family business so they treat you individually are pleasant and helpful. the dinner package was wonderful large portions and great, had to bring most of it home. The paddling along the river was wonderful, very tranquil and relaxing, got to see a turtle and beautiful scenery.

Wonderful experience for my kids and me. After a quick orientation we were set loose and had a great time. The food at the end, while a bit pricey, were scrumptious!!!

We had a great time. Very personal and we really enjoyed the farm. We saw several turtles swimming a beached. The food was great. it was well worth the money.

Really fun relaxing day on the river. Saw a number of turtles both on the shore and in the water. Paddling was not hard or intense as the river is easy to move around. Really fun day that felt secluded and private.

No guide was there. Had to call the business to open the gate. Eventually went up to the cook and asked what's up. Sent us behind the building to be if ignored even more. Piss poor service. If you care at all you can at least act like you give a crap.

We had a fantastic experience in our double kayak paddling down the river. Also had a great garlic shrimp lunch to end the tour. Can’t wait for our next trip here!

We saw lots of turtles. The weather was perfect and floating the river was very relaxing. The lunch was delicious. We had a fun time!

We had so much fun, even in the rain! Friendly staff, delicious lunch, beautiful scenery and we even saw turtles while on the river!

My son and really enjoy the river was mild and easy to paddle, got to see some turtles. We took our time to relax around and enjoy the views and spending time together. The people who work at Tsue Farm were helpful,. pleasant and courteous. The food was great and was large servings.

We arrived at 10:30 am and rode on a kayak for two up to the 2nd bridge towards the ocean on the Anuhulu River. We turned around and paddled downstream for a total of 1 hour. The view along the river is pretty and serene. At the end we had a coconut shrimp and a garlic shrimp lunch (rice, green salad and coleslaw). The shrimp luncheons were the best that we had during our stay in Oahu. Afterwards we drove to Haleiwa to try the shave ice at Matsumoto, worth the visit.

We had an awesome time kayaking. They were extremely friendly, very thorough with explaining directions. We had such an relaxing time as the channel opens up to the ocean. The lunch they provided after was amazing. My husband had Coconut Shrimp and I had Kahlúa Park. Both were very delicious. The best part was seeing all the sea turtles. Thank you for a great experience

The food was delicious and worth the trip. We really like talking to the owners and enjoyed the time on the water. It was not as long as we usually go on kayaks and for us wasn't as adventurous as we liked, but was a nice beginner experience. Would be good with kids. Only reason not 5 stars was when we bought an item they added 5 dollars, plus taxes. So beware.

No direction or instruction. Very unorganized. Food was okay.saw I turtle in a cage by the front gate. .

So much fun !! All the staff is amazing and was a GREAT day !! Highly recommend - garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp was just as good as food trucks !

Great place for kayaking. Very scenic and lots of turtles and fish throughout the kayaking excursion. Comes with lunch and the grounds are nice to walk around in.

Nice paddle down the river. Braden was helpful with the boats. We spotted several turtles sun bathing 🤩. The staff were excellent and lunch was good. The kayaking and lunch took about two hours.

This was such a relaxing way to see honu swimming along side my kayak or basking on the shore. the river isn’t long but gives you time to repeat areas looking for the adorable sea turtles. Wendy made me coconut shrimp among many options that was so good! Rain handled getting the kayak into/out of the water and held it steady as i climbed in. He was very knowledgeable of the river and joy to be around. He is an avid source of knowledge on local food fare at a good price. It’s about 1.5hrs to paddle so plenty of time to explore the North Shore.

5 girls from California, never kayaked in a river. The scenery was amazing, very quiet and serene. Didn’t see any turtles except for one that popped his/her head up the water. Crew and owner were so accommodating and informative and lunch was superior and onolicious.

Such a nice easy ride. Quiet and not crowded in the mornings. Staff is super nice and the food was so good. I would definitely come back here again.

We loved coming here for kayaking! The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our lunch and shaved ice :) I loved knowing that we were supporting a family business too. A great experience and I would definitely recommend!

We had an awesome kayaking experience. Rain, the young man that works there was so nice. Would recommend this to everyone.

I arrived at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start. There was no sign, and I wasn't sure if I was at the right place. At the scheduled time, someone came out and confirmed that I was indeed at the right location. The tour description states that we can use the kayak for 5 hours. When I asked the staff to confirm this, they said no, you can only use it for an hour and a half. Now about the equipment. The paddles do not have adjustable angles, and the rubber rings meant to keep water off your hands are not fixed, so water runs onto your hands. The organizer does not provide waterproof bags for your belongings; instead, I was given a trash bag. After 1.5 hours, a staff member approached us and said it was time to free up the boat. The lunch was average but acceptable. Overall, I am dissatisfied as I expected to use the boat for the time stated in the tour description.

This place is great. Our kayak experience was fantastic. Very nice and friendly staff. The lunch they servef us was very good. I will definitely come back. Customer service is A+

Had so much fun doing this activity. The service was great. I switched from a kayak to the long board with no issues. The food was also really good. I highly recommend this if you’re visiting the islands!

First of all we missed the turn off when we followed google maps. It took us to the Hailwea sign on the freeway instead of turning us into Tsues Farm. Had a lot of fun exploring the river and seeing turtles. This was a self guided tour (you don’t need a guide). The lunch was some of the best garlic shrimp we had on the island and we were treated to some delicious dragon fruit juice and even some shaved ice!! Over all we loved the experience. The tour said 5 hours but we were done in 2!

Event was so fun and I loved the employees. They were so genuine and knowledgeable about the trip. Made kayaking super fun. They even attended us earlier than our start time which was lovely since we were able to do their things around the area. There’s small games for children like connect 4. Overall, I loved everything and would come back!
