Cousin Elaine was a great host. Made us all feel the ohana spirit. She was full of knowledge and facts. At the Dole plantation she did not get flustered when she got us bogged in the fields, she remained calm. Chad from Dole did a great job explaining the pineapple process. The factory plant was fascinating. All very hard workers. We received some cut pineapple instead of a whole pineapple due to Australian customs laws. We thought that was great & made our day. We can not speak more highly of the attention Cousin Elaine gave to all participants of the tour. She is an asset to Robert’s Hawaii. Mahalo

Our tour guide “Georgia” was the sweetest and knew so much about the island and its history - she’s a local island girl! shout out to you cousin! As a farmer, and to see what they do there on the plantation - to feed the people from all around the world - was such an amazing and humbling experience. I enjoyed seeing the pineapple crowns being planted, to its early stages of a small cute pineapple, to harvesting the big bright yellow sweet smelling pineapples. And most of all, I enjoyed getting our own TSA approved packaged pineapple, and a treat to drink the juice and eat some fresh pineapple at the end was worth it all. The only thing about this tour was I wish we got to do is to go across the street to the Dole Plantation where there is the famous dole ice cream I keep hearing about. Other than that, we got to go visit a cute town for lunch in Hale’iwa. It’s a tourist area with many surf shops and eatery. There’s also the famous Matsumoto Shaved Ice which is cheaper than any other shaved ice on the island and very ono!
Lots of local history given and we went to several places. Our guide was Georgia (cousin) and she was great. Very knowledgeable in the history of Hawaii.
Canceled x2 due to lack of participants and rebooking took forever! Still have mot received my refund
We had a fun time learning about more history and culture of Oahu and the Hawaiian Islands. Began with some coffee tastings, then a tour of the Dole farm fields and packing facility. We each walked away with a full pineapple before going across the street for some Dole Whip, sampling some flavored Macadamia nuts and then stopping for some photo ops at Iola I palace and the King Kamehaha statue. Highly recommended!
Be prepared to have a relaxing tour. Everything we did was top notch. Getting fresh pineapple was a treat. Vivas was the best tour guide.
The experience was great. All staff was so kind. We got picked up at the ABC store in Honolulu. The ride was easy and full of cool facts about the area. And of course Hanauma Bay is a gorgeous place to visit. I will definitely be coming back.
We were picked up at a hotel a couple of blocks from our hotel and we enjoyed the experience, but one in our party was sick and was not able to make the tour. We did not get refunded the money, but we were also not allowed to take the pineapple he would have received if he had taken the tour. He was so upset he was not able to take the tour, but thought he would at least get a pineapple to try. It seems that the $155 that was not refunded would have easily made up for the free pineapple. We were extremely disappointed that we were not able to take him his pineapple, especially since they did not refund any of the tour money. The driver did drop us off at our exact hotel so we did not have to walk the blocks, and the tour was interesting, but left with a sad feeling bringing home no pineapple for my sick husband.
Great tour. Elaine was very knowledgeable and shared about every part of the island we visited. She was possibly the best tour guide of our trip! Pineapple fields were interesting and the other stops were nice. Would definitely recommend!
This is not the average Dole Pineapple tour! First it’s a small group with a very comfortable smaller tour van. This is not a huge bus. Second awesome thing is the tour is literally in the fields! You see up close how the 🍍 are planted and harvested! And packaged in the plant for shipping! And you get a free 🍍. Don’t worry, you do stop at the huge retailer across the street. There are other places and stops along the way to enjoy, including Green World coffee farm, North Shore. Our tour guide, Loren, was great, funny and extremely knowledgeable about the island and all the sights along the way!! He was the best! I highly suggest the tour if you’re interested in seeing the 🍍 property/process.
Such a fun experience! We loved every minute of it. Our driver was amazing and fun, kept the energy up! I took my mom on this trip and she couldn’t stop raving about it! Love love love!!!
Wonderful experience - thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Lisa the tour guide was fantastic so knowledgeable and personable and went above and beyond. The dole plantation farm was so interesting. Be prepared for a lot of red dirt/dust - would not recommend that you wear white clothing. Overall I highly recommend this tour especially if you are lucky enough to have Lisa as your tour guide.
Cousin Lisa is a wonderful tour guide! By far the best day of our vacation! Cousin Lisa took us on a tour to the Dole Pineapple farm where we visited the fields to see the entire process from planting to harvesting and processing in the plant. We tasted fresh pineapple right in the field! The tour also included a stop at a coffee farm, macadamia nut farm, some shopping and a stop at Leonard’s bakery! One of the best picnic lunches with amazing views of the beach at the North Shore was also included. We met wonderful new friends on the tour as well! Highly recommend this tour with Cousin Lisa!
We had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide, Lisa, picked us up and we instantly felt the spirit of Aloha! We stopped at Green Mountain Cigfee on our way to the farm. The farm tour was interesting and interactive. Our seven year old was amazed with alll she learned about pineapples! Getting to taste freshly harvested pineapple on the field was unforgettable! We also got to go inside the processing plant and we each got a pineapple to take home. We had a sandwich lunch at Camp Erdman and had the opportunity to enjoy a beach on the North Shore The whole day was great!
I had a amazing Birthday tour, great customer service and they were very informative. The Pineapple tour was great, the meal was delicious. I got to meet people from all walks of life and shared wonderful stories of our lives. We visited many historical sites on the island tour. My favorite part is when we pasted by a beautiful summer house owned by Barack and Michelle Obama. I received so much information I was not aware of, like The Rock Johnson is from Hawaii, so many different movies were made in Hawaii. We went by several beaches, we visited a historical mountain and the view was breath taking. I would recommend this tour to everyone , I had awesome tour guide who really new everything there was to know about Hawaii.
Cousin Elaine and the entire experience from beginning to the end was absolutely amazing 🤩. I would recommend this tour hands down!!! I hope Cousin Elaine sees our post and knows how much we enjoyed her!! Mahola 🌺
I loved that we got to see a real, working pineapple farm. Our guide, Lauren, did a fine job of giving us a good feel of the island and the places we visited. He was organized, kind, funny and a pleasure.
This was a great tour. They take you out to the field and explain every aspect of the process. Cousin Lisa is the best. She will teach you Hawaiian while she is driving and teaching you the history of the island. I would do this tour again and again just to learn about the history and the language. Mahalo!
Our tour guide Elaine was awesome. Extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Not only did I learn about the production of the pineapple at the Dole Pineapple Farm, but I have more knowledge about Hawaii and the Hawaiian culture. I leave tomorrow back to Northern California, but am planning my return back to the Hawaiian island. Now I understand Aloha! It was like touring with family. Thank you, Elaine for making my time in Hawaii memorable.
Had an amazing time. Georgia was extremely knowledgeable and was a fantastic guide on our tour. The stops on the tour were delicious.
It was the best! We had an amazing time from the start to end. Georgia our guide was a wonderful person, so genuine and knowledgeable. She made us feel like family. We enjoyed it all from the Greenworld Coffee Farm, North Shore Macadamia Nut Company and most of all the Dole Pineapple Farm. We will never forget this fun event that we almost did not do. I can't say it enough that we had the best guide, Georgia!!!
Highly recommend this tour! Cousin Lisa was a great driver/tour guide. The tour around Dole Plantation was exceptional, educational and entertaining. Lunch was provided at the YMCA and the beach beckoned while we ate. A paddle in the water after lunch. The whole tour was brilliant and even a drive by Iolani Palace on way back just made the day great! If you are able, this tour is a must!
I hesitated on this because I thought it would be too 'touristy', but I wound up loving it for 2 reasons: #1: The train ride! I felt like I was seeing a 'hidden Hawaii' going back into the fields and seeing the different types of vegetation. It was like 'old Hawaii' and it was quiet and peaceful and a pretty good ride. That was a pleasant surprise, after waiting in line. and #2? DOLE WHIP! OMG. Sooo good. You must have Dole Whip when you're there. I don't recommend Hawaii in the summer due to crowds, but we had to due to my friend being a teacher. If you can go outside of school holidays, I recommend that due to less crowds.
Amazing is an understatement!! Our tour guide went above and beyond!! Not only did we experience the dole plant we also visited the green coffee farm, and the macadamia outlet! We were served lunch on the north shore beach at camp Erdman where we met lance a former professional ball player in the As club and a professional surfer. The meal was filling, and the beach was peaceful!! Lisa our driver/ tour guide was effervescent and delightful!! Very caring and friendly!!! We Highly recommend this tour with This company!!
This tour is amazing. We had Elaine as our tour guide and she was very sweet and very informative. The pineapple farm is such an experience. I learned so much from it. Just learning about the history of Hawaii was amazing.
Got to see harvesting in field. All stages of growing as well as plant packaging and sampling room. On board tour guide was very informed and social.
