You will get wet, but the lit paddle board is very cool and it’s a very unique and pleasant experience. Kelsey the instructor gives a relaxing meditative session. Local flavor in the public park might effect the experience but eventually we did find inner peace.

We will move through a gentle yoga flow on the boards on the water. For this class, most participants don't fall in the water (although you will get a little bit wet). We move slowly through our yoga poses while enjoying the illuminated water beneath our boards, the city lights around us, as well as the stars and the moon above us. A truly magical experience!

Jody is the best instructor. So kind and she made it such a fun experience. It was truly a fun Hawaii adventure!
Jody was a wonderful instructor! The session was relaxing and gentle—doing yoga on a paddleboard under the stars was such a unique experience. It was also a fun way to practice balancing on a board. It ended up being the perfect way to prepare for my surf lesson the next day.

It was great a nice night on the beach and a great class the instructor was very friendly n always had a smile on her face
Yoga at night was ok even for a beginner. The girl we had didn't make me feel welcome and was more like a robot & seemed irritated, that was teaching this class. Half way through the instructor mentioned it was photo time and took pictures of some of the people doing yoga and not others. I thought she was going to get pictures of everyone and thought she might do more at the end. No more pictures were done, when questioned why only some people's pictures were taken to send to family or friends she replied you have to pay an additional 10$, but several of us were unaware of this. The instructor said not all sites have this information and we should have asked when she was doing pictures, that she announced photo time. How would someone know. All 5 excursions I had been on to this point took pictures of everyone and if you wanted to purchase them at the end you were given the opportunity. How would we know there were going to be no mre pictures taken. Rather than try to make it right or apologize for the misunderstanding, it was dismissed wich left several of us very disappointed. She could have announced would anyone else like pictures, we won't be doing anymore. If you want to run a business and not have people leave feeling disappointed, do pictures of everyone and if they want to purchase them they can pay, if not move on. In addition one person in our group took a refund because the instructor didn't bring enough anchors for the SUP so one person couldn't participate. I just didn't have the experience I thought I would. My husband got a picture and I was able to share it with the person's that did not get one. I just left feeling very disappointed.
Very knowledgeable tuition excellent teacher the right amount of challenge ( balance on the board🤔😜) and calm
The BEST way to end my solo trip to Oahu! I traveled to Oahu solo, and sought out a bunch of wellness experiences. My trip came up really last minute, and a lot of the Yoga Floats sessions that fit into my schedule were already booked, but the owner Kelsey was so nice and went out of her way to help me arrange a private Light Up The Night experience. Everything is so professional and clear with Yoga Floats, from the communication and confirmation email with clear directions on how to get to the location no matter how you’re arriving, to the awesome drone video showing you EXACTLY where to park and the meeting point (I was so impressed by this), to the class and instruction itself. As soon as I was out on the water, I was in heaven. Class began at 6:30 just as the sun was setting (in February) and it was the absolute perfect time because I got to enjoy the sunset and do the glow experience. The water at this beach is so calm and was perfect for SUP yoga. My teacher made it accessible and fun, her and I had a blast. She was so kind and guided me beautifully (as a long-time yoga teacher, I’m pretty critical of a good teacher!), also giving me some time to try things on my own. She took some great pictures for me and I’ll treasure them forever. Being on the water in this way was the most magical experience - it took both the yoga and the sunset to an entirely new level. The sunset and full moon were stunning. I loved it so much! I can’t wait to be back in Oahu and book take more classes with Yoga Floats!
Beautiful and fun experience! Easy for beginners and a great way to see the beach at night. Our instructor Sariah took awesome pictures!
My family and I were beginners to SUP paddle board yoga and loved the experience! Imagine doing yoga on a paddleboard with colored lights with beautiful views and sunset lighting. People on the shore was very intrigued by what we were doing. Our instructor was very accommodating to all levels of ability. Make sure to wear your swimwear in case you fall into the water and wear swim shoes to get past the rocks on the shoreline. We were only waist deep, so no worries about falling in there. It was very peaceful and fun! I highly recommend this activity!
This was an amazing experience! Julie was absolutely fabulous! Her class was perfect for our beginners and advanced. She was truly a gift! The atmosphere was breathtaking and magical with the sun setting and the city lights behind us. We were a group with ages from 8 to 43. It’s a must do experience!!
Julie was incredible! She was so kind and helpful! Appreciated the beginner level skills to more advance moves!
A magical experience! Would definitely do it again. Fantastic instructor who also took great pictures.
It was an amazing experience, the yoga instructor was a sweetheart with us. We are an amateur on paddle boarding and we didn’t fall from the board. I totally recommend to do SUP yoga it’s magical
Great experience! You don’t have to be a yogi to participate! While it is a yoga class it is a more relaxed environment. You will fall just accept it, there is no shame in it and you are only in waist deep water. Get the pictures!
Couldn’t find where to go and never was contacted until I was supposed to be there verses when I went surfing I was contacted right away after my reservation so I knew where I was going and time, to feel comfortable.
Julie is a wonderful instructor. This was my first time to do SUP yoga and I would love to do it again! It was such a great way to reap the benefits of yoga while in the water-peaceful, serene and the perfect amount of challenge. Loved it!
It was such a great experience. My 21 year old son and I did this together and were not sure what to expect. Neither of us practice yoga regularly but we were able to follow along and feel appropriately challenged. Julie does a great job of instructing and making everyone feel comfortable. Awesome and highly recommended!
Our instructor Julie was top-notch. She had everything ready and has perfected her remarks as to what to expect--everything you wanted to know and nothing you didn't. The experience was perfectly timed so that we could watch the fireworks afterwards. Julie had a really soothing voice as she walked us through different moves. I never fell in the water but I did fall into a deep sleep that night!
This experience was awesome! I took a trip to Hawaii alone, and this was one of the first things I did on my first night solo. It was very therapeutic and wonderful at night. You are under the moonlight and the instructor was so helpful with all the body movements and positions. I highly recommend for yoga lovers!
We did light up yoga last night with Julie. We loved it. Yoga on the ocean with a beautiful sunset. What’s not to love. Julie was really great and took us through SUP yoga poses with ease. She even took heaps of photos while guiding us through our class. Highly recommend doing this. Best thing we’ve done in Honolulu.
We had an amazing last night in Oahu taking a SUP Yoga class with Julie!! First of all, everything is very orderly and Julie even text me to make sure we had no issues finding the meeting location. Once we were all present, Julie walked us through the boards and for our evening class, the lights. Julie explained how the class would flow and tips on how to balance on the boards. Julie told us about the yoga moves and demonstrated them. She also made sure to offer people alternate positions of the pose was too challenging or if you were not physically comfortable performing the pose. We had an awesome time laughing and encouraging each of our classmates on, even when we each fell into the water! We will definitely be taking more classes on our next visit and I highly recommend the SUP yoga classes for all yoga levels!!! Mahalo Yoga Floats!!! 🤙
Yoga. On a Paddle board. At night with LED lights. So cool!! Absolutely loved the experience. Being late November, I was worried about feeling cold but I wasn’t, despite the wind. Julie the instructor took us through a great flow. Great photo ops. It was a terrific experience.
We had so much fun with Julie! It was our first time doing SUP Yoga and she made the experience amazing. It was well guided and a good class for both beginners and intermediate students for yoga. We did the night class and the view was beautiful. Julie also took some awesome pictures throughout the class. Was worth the price!
What a great way to end the day! We gathered at Magic Island beach park and took our paddle boards into the water. The class was doable for yogis at any level - do as much or little as you want! Plus the lights below the boards were so soothing in the darkness that some stretches and meditation alone made it worth it!
The yoga instructors were fantastic and supportive - great for yogi's of all skill level! The experience was relaxing and refreshing!
For somebody who does yoga on a regular basis, but only paddle boarded once before, this looked scenic and relaxing and perhaps challenging trying to do poses on the paddle board. It wasn’t as hard as I thought- my teen was also able to participate and she’s never done either activity. The views were amazing, water is warm, Karin, our instructor, was super friendly and made everyone feel comfortable regardless of their level. I highly recommend this to anybody who wants a unique and refreshing experience while in Hawaii.
Our session was beautiful. The weather was perfect , water temp was warm and our instructor was a sweet heart! We had a blast!
We had great fun doing this with young kids- the stretches and positions were easy for us beginners. The boards are big enough to stay stable so we never fell and they look great lit up with the setting sun behind us. The instructor was patient and took photos for us.
Absolutely amazing experience! Every yoga lover (novice or experienced) would enjoy! The waters on that beach are beautifully blue, clear and calm so there isn't a big sway in the waves and the environment was gorgeous. Our instructor brought fantastic energy and very clearly guided the class through the poses. Would HIGHLY reccomend taking this class!
Absolutely fantastic experience 🤩 I went two times and both times felt magical ! It was my first time in paddle but I really liked it. The lights and evening atmosphere make it something truly special! Definitely recommended !
Our group did the light up the night yoga and had a fantastic evening. There is no better way to experience the ocean at night and take in the stars. I did find that even with ~3 years of yoga experience, this class was extremely challenging due to the need to keep your balance as the gentle waves rock your SUP board. Our instructor gave variations to our group to account for the different levels of experience to make sure everyone was able to enjoy themselves while still having a fulfilling experience. It's worth noting that the water can be a bit chilly for the evening yoga classes, so I would recommend wearing yoga leggings/dry fit tops opposed to bathing suits. Whether you're a seasoned yogi, or trying it for the first time, I can't recommend it enough.
Had a great time, highly recommend! Most memorable Yoga class we have ever done, instructor was terrific!Thank you! -Richard
The yoga was beginner friendly and super fun! A great experience and easy to find. Would definitely do again.
This is the most amazing experience! It was my first time trying yoga and my second time on a SUP and although I was slightly nervous, I felt like a pro. The instructions are so clear and easy to follow that I was standing and posing before I really even comprehended that I was actually doing it.
Great instruction and fun. I've done paddleboard yoga before but never at night. Lights made it more like a party! Be aware, this is yoga and the instructor took us through a flow (e.g. warrior two, plank, downard dog and so forth). You will be worked out. Highly recommend.
An evening yoga class on SUPs under the stars was the perfect way to unwind and end my first day in Hawaii. Thank you Kelsey and Yoga Floats for an incredible experience. I will definitely do this again.
I thought the activity was great...the yoga was a great basic class appropriate for the paddle boards, the lights made it extra fun, and the instructor went totally out of her way to engage, take photos, position us and give personalized attention from the water while she was walking around to each person. The setting was beautiful as well. I thought it would be too kitchy but I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. In particular floating shavasana under the stars and moon was very special. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
This was a must! It was beautiful doing yoga in the ocean, especially at night with the light up paddle boards. My favorite part was laying on my back looking up at the stars listening to the water. Kelsey (the instructor) was great also! She made sure to get pictures of everyone too so no need to bring phone with especially if u want a true relaxing time.
Amazing and fun for the family. We had a wonderful time. Great location to view the skyline, sunset and even the fireworks
Very friendly instructor! Kelsey did a great job at keeping us comfortable on the water and throughout the lesson. The water was calm and relaxing and the lights under the board were so cool! Great for beginners in yoga, and offers some options for harder techniques. The fireworks at the end were a great addition and so fun to watch from the water. Kelsey also took pictures for us throughout the lesson that we were able to access through Facebook the next day!
My friends and I took the “Light up the Night” class. It began just at sunset with a beautifully, breathtaking Magic Island backdrop. The staff took tons of photos and it was an amazing way to start our trip to Honolulu. It was relaxing and challenging to perform the standard yoga moves on the paddleboard. Of the 4 of us, 1 fell in. She didn’t mind getting wet. You are in the shallows, so the water is only about waist deep.
This was so much fun and good for beginners and advanced yogis. It was such a great experience and we had a great view of the city anytime we looked up, and Friday night fireworks. Highly recommend doing the night SUP yoga!
This is perfect for yoga beginners, my partner and I did the night time glow yoga which was cool having the water light up. Kelsey was a great instructor, everything was well explained and she gave us options for different levels of experience.
This was a highlight of our trip, it was super cool doing yoga in on a paddle board in the water. I was convinced I'd fall off but no one in our group actually fell. The night one ends with fireworks off in the distance and the boards light up on the bottom with neon lights, which looks really cool. The instruction was thorough and the instructor was super nice. Highly recommend!
What an awesome and unique experience. Kelsey the instructor was amazing. The whole experience was incredible. Beautiful, great location, a very chill and relaxed yoga class on high-quality beautifully lit up boards ending it all with fireworks. For a unique adventure and something totally different I would definitely recommend. The cost of the class, plus the paddle board rental, any unique experience of when the heck else do you get to do this? As well worth it
Our instructor was great. We arrived early to enjoy the beach and sunset. The lights on the paddleboard were a cool touch. It ended with fireworks (Friday nights only). Hard to beat!
Everything was perfect such as beatiful sunset, winds and calm ocean. Kelsey was so nice and instructed very easily.
We really enjoyed our sunset yoga experience. The feeling of floating on an ocean with the water illuminated by the LEDs below your paddle board while relaxing into yoga poses is quite different. Our instructor showed us how to modify poses to cater for being on a paddle board and encouraged everyone to enjoy the experience, working at their own level and to not worry about falling into the water. Definitely a memorable and recommendable experience.
Doing yoga on the paddle board was the best fun I have had in a while. There were of few laughs as nobody wanted to be the first to fall off. No previous yoga experience necessary as the instruction in the yoga poses was so easy to follow.
