Guides JD and Billy were fantastic, they put us on whales very late in the season and were knowledgeable about the whales behavior.

Awesome expertise about the whales and wildlife in general. It was the perfect amount of people on the boat making sure you never had to miss a whale from someone standing in front of you. Billy and his partner were fun to be with and definitely make it worth it. I’ve done catamaran whale tours in HI before and will never go back to that after this experience! Truly amazing

DJ and Billy were great tour guides. They were engaging kind and funny. They spotted whales all over the place and we saw a ton! Both babies and moms! It was a wonderful adventure!

I enjoyed that it was a very small group. It made it a little bit more personal without having too many people. We saw alot of whales including a mama and baby that was super playful and put on a show. The guides were great and informative.

Convenient location by whaler’s village. But a little challenge to get in and out of the raft and transfer to boat for some. Captain was very personable, but didn’t do much education or share information. He spent time chatting with some guests. We had gone on another company’s trip during this trip. It was far more structured and professional. Both were small group boats.

This is a smaller boat with a max of 12 people so there isn't a bad seat in the boat anywhere. They are also able to get in a little closer because the captain can see better. We saw so many whales, including great displays fun slapping and breaching. Got some really great video.

This was our BEST whale watching experience ever!! One of the whales swam under our boat!! Incredible experience!! The small boat was perfect for the gorgeous views!! Kolton and Billy were awesome!! A person on our trip got seasick, and they were very attentive to her. They gave us a lot of info about whales and answered all of our questions!! Highly recommend this experience and I wish we could do it again!!

This was the experience of a lifetime time ! I have been on several whale watching expeditions previously and this was by far the most exciting experience to date. Unfortunately I became seasick part way through the cruise . Billy went above and beyond to support and assist me when I really needed it the most . I sincerely thank him . If you are looking for an opportunity to experience the raw beauty of Maui up close and personal , I would highly recommend giving your business to this amazing company. You will not regret it !

This was a great 2 hour tour. We saw several whales with a couple coming up close to the boat. The boat was extremely comfortable with plenty of shade. We had Colton and Billy for our tour operators. They were great! Highly recommend!

The staff is very friendly, the boat was clean and the captain of the boat seemed pretty knowledgeable about the whales. We did see whales but nothing too close. Getting to the boat is a little sketchy, you get on a dingy boat at the beach and you get in quickly to try to avoid the waves. It was fine for us and we still had a nice time.

The good things.. Captain was knowledgeable. Boat was roomy. The bad things.. Spent to much time looking at the same whale (mom with baby). Should had use the time more wisely going after bigger pods. The whole group on our boat could see whales breaching at a distance but we never went to them. This is the biggest complaint… We were seated in the back ( no problem with this except the people in front were allowed to sit up on their seats) which meant we could not see the majority of the whales! Also I suggested the captain turn the boat from time to time to allow us in the back to see…this only happen once! My suggestion for this company is to rotate the front 6 people to the back after the first hour. I also suggested this during the trip to no avail! I/we will not book our next trip with you. There is no pictures to upload except the back of people heads!

Great easy location to get on a boat to watch whales. Staff is friendly and informative. Bring water as they don’t provide any drinks.

Best whale watching in Maui! Our captain Justin was so knowledgeable about Hawaii and whales. We saw so many whales. Only 12 people on this comfortable boat that could cruise quickly and also turn on a dime. Don’t fight the big crowds or look through a million reviews! This is the best tour you can find! We saw a double breached whale. It was unbelievable. A mommy and baby whale too that swam right underneath the boat!! Probably saw 20 whales. 1000000% recommend

We had the most amazing time on the small vessel, seeing the whales. We had two at interacted with our boat for at least 20 minutes and we’re close enough that we could kiss them.

It was a perfect morning with calm waters. The captain knew just where to take us to have a truly amazing experience. The whales swam gently right up to and underneath the boat. Wow! The crew was friendly, relaxed, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you prefer a small group experience.

We have done this tour two years in a row and love that both times there were only six people on the boat. We were allowed to move around the boat to get the best pictures and videos. The captain was very knowledgeable about the whales, and we were able to see whales breach and their tails slap. Our grandkids loved it. Would highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this whale watching tour, and we were lucky to have a whale breach close to the boad right in the beginning of the tour. We also had a whale tale-slapping, a mother whale who was carrying a baby on top of herself, and a competition pot with 6 or 7 whales not too far from the boat. Captain Mike and Billy were great! Billy even shared some videos he took with an underwater camera. We were only 8 guests on the boat. Of course it depends ont he day what you will see (I went the previous day with another company, and that day the whales were not that active), but this boat was fast and could go quickly to different places, which was a real bonus. I really can recommend this!! :)

Everything ran smoothly from reservation to end of tour. The captain and crew were fun, experienced and found us our whales! Highly recommend them.

Small boat, only 10 plus captain and guide. Seas were a little rough so we did get wet, but it was worth it to see the whales. The captain was able to manage the waves and bring us within a safe distance to the whales. Great experience!

Maui whale watching in January is truly amazing. We had an expert team take us out and we literally had a whale around our ship for about 15 minutes. It was rolling, spyhopping, and checking us out. I was in total awe. This doesn’t happen on every tour - we just had an incredible experience. Even Mindy and James had never had such a curious whale in Maui. The meeting place is right on the beach and you do have to be able to get into the water to a small dinghy to get to the tour boat. The boat was about 13 people so it was very intimate.

Great tour with Colton as our guide. Tour uses a Smaller boat closer to the water. It was just our family of 4 + a couple, which made it very nice with fewer people. We had multiple whale sightings but according to Colton they were a bit 'sleepy'. He did a great job driving us around in pursuit! (It's a bit like whack-a-mole) The boats must stay within 100 yards of any sighting unless you're lucky enough to have them surface right by your boat. Colton was very knowledgable and shared lots of info.

They cancelled out trip without any intimation one night before. We had a 7 am tour booked, paid for, confirmed twice by viator and by them directly. I got an email at 8.30 pm the night before stating we have been moved to another time at 1 pm. No way to contact them, no one to reach. I called viator but that was of no help whatsoever. Viator asked me to call them at 6 am and that this is mostly a mistake. Next day we went in the morning only to see that they had cancelled us just to accommodate more buyers perhaps for 4 people for extra money - there was no reason for cancellation and they were operating fine - weather was good and all their tours left on time - it was like feeling they chose to discriminate against us only bcos we were 2 people and they wanted to take 4 instead. The people running the show at the beach acted clueless about this and offered to compensate but did not actually do anything - this experience ruined my plans for the day. I had to cancel my other plans for the day just because of such unprofessional behavior. They also said that this happened because this was booked through Viator and not directly through them which is so unacceptable and unfair.

We have been on a number of whale watches. The small-boat experience made a significant difference in our ability to view wildlife up close. We also especially appreciated the expert information shared about humpback whales and the opportunity to hear their underwater communication. However, we noticed it may be helpful for some to provide additional detail about the physical abilities required to board and exit the boats while on the water.

It was an awesome couple of hours. We saw a mom and baby, and a couple of other groups of whales. Super amazing especially for not technically beign whale season.

The captain was great, knew right where to go to find whales quickly, and was very knowledgeable! The whales were quite active and going on a small boat was beneficial to getting awesome views and photos of the whales!
