The sunset and cruise were perfect, the food not so much.

The ribs were cooked to perfection, the music and guide were friendly and made you feel welcomed. And of course the sunset was epic.
It was my 71st birthday and my eldest granddaughter 24 and I I wanted the dinner cruise the sunset. It was a little bit overcast, which is no fault out of your control, but it was really fun and the people aboard were really more than compensated and I’m hard to I can’t maneuver all that well so they were very accommodating to me extremely, I think her name was Alicia. So kudos I l would love to come back if I ever get the chance before I pass this world Dianne Cotta
Wonderful experience, delicious food and fantastic entertainment. Very happy that I booked this dinner cruise, it will be a highlight of my vacation.
You may be bumped from your tour with little notice. I received notification within hours of the scheduled tour time my tour was cancelled to accommodate a party that was scheduled to go out the next day.
This was a nice boat ride into the sunset; however, they fail to tell you that everyone has to STAND throughout the entire dinner and eat on a rocky boat. There are seats up top on the deck but it's too hard to hold you plate, climb the stairs and then hold the plate on your lap and eat. Food was ok but not great. Also the signage to the place could be a lot better. We arrived a couple hours early because of traffic like the instructions told us and had trouble finding it. The address they give is the address to the US Coast Guard Station. After standing around and asking different locals questions and having a few more people show up we figured the dinner cruise was on a boat just down from the US Coast Station. Again, signage is vital when you have no idea where you are going. It would also be helpful to know the name of the boat we are boarding, as there are many boats in the harbor. Be careful too about parking. It's best to park right down by the harbor if you can as it's cheaper than up by the Aquarium. I definitely did not think this was worth the money that we paid.
It was very nice. Food was good, crew was friendly, music as great. Overall, recommend booking this sunset cruise.
Great vibe, great crew, and would highly recommend. From start to finish it was great and the food was good too.
If you want non alcoholic beers and wines let them know and rhey will have it for you. Cocktails were delicious
We had a great time. Even though wind was strong, the captain went over to a cove so we could eat and the dancers could do the hula. The food was very good and do NOT MISS the cheesecake. We've never had anything like it!!! Would definitely sail again. John 3:16-17
VIATOR provided the wrong time to arrive, and very poor instructions for where to go and how to get there. Also, it didn’t help that we arrived a half hour too early, so there were only a few other people milling around wondering where to go also. Experience was ok. The food was good, dessert excellent. The staff was nice and friendly and did a good job. They said the boat was designed to hold twice as many people as were on it the night we went, but I don’t know how that’s possible. The only place to sit is on the top deck and it’s VERY windy up there. There certainly was not enough room for everyone on the boat to be seated on the top deck comfortably. The benches up top have a small shelf to put your food (and cup holders otherwise it would be impossible to have a drink). The wind is so bad you have to hang on to everything. However, I think that’s typical-it is generally windy. The sun sets behind another island, so you don’t see the sun hit the water.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this boat company. Due to my grandson’s autism and his inability to comfortably participate in the trip, we were unable to proceed as planned. I explained the situation and requested a full refund, hoping the company would show some understanding and compassion regarding his disability. Unfortunately, the company refused to provide a full refund. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies, but I believe situations involving a child with special needs and a disability should be handled with greater sensitivity and consideration. What disappointed me most was the lack of flexibility and empathy. Families traveling with children who have autism can face unexpected challenges that are beyond their control. I hope this company will reconsider how it handles these situations in the future and show more compassion toward customers and families with special needs.
Couldn't make the event because of a traffic delay, but they are giving us a refund. We will book it next time.
The experience was delightful and captured what we want to achieve. Yoder the beautiful sunset. The brief entertainment was satisfactory and the crew was professional with captain providing adequate safety information and expectations.
Beautiful cruise. Very friendly staff and good eats and drinks. A nice experience for friends or family
They do a great job adhering ti their schedule, make sure you do the same! The ribs were awesome, as was the cheese cake.
The crew did a fantastic job. The food was great and the whole evening was great. We are very glad that we went.
Great experience 👍 staff members are sweet and kind. Very pleasant and lovely performances and overall worth it.
Beautiful cruise with cocktails. Chicken, ribs were delicious. The vegetables were not even cooked. Everything else was wonderful. Friendly staff and great dessert.
We tried the sunset cruise since we've done Luau's several times on different trips. The staff and crew were very kind, but the overall experience wasn't great. I realize they cannot control the wind/weather, but it was so incredibly windy, it was hard to enjoy. The musician onboard could use a louder speaker so you can actually hear. We all ate in the downstairs cabin since it was too windy to eat at the top, which made for a crowded and standing dinner service. So if you're looking to decide between the two, I'd go with the Luau. You can eat comfortably at a table and have an overall better experience.

The Crew, Captain, Guitarist and Hula Dancer and also the Buffet were All Excellent and a Friendly Atmosphere Prevailed!!! Better than going to a Luau on land by far! Would like to do this again with The Pride of Maui!
Beautiful sunset on the boat. Very friendly crew, wonderful music and hula, dancer and lots and lots of food and drinks!
The food and drinks were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, it was very windy on the top deck during our cruise and space to eat on the inside deck was limited. The seating was not ideal for a sit-down meal. The sunset views were great and we enjoyed the entertainment on the boat.
First time in Hawaii, went with my mom. We loved the food and the drinks. The experience was lovely! Great relaxing experience.
The boat was clean. The food was amazing and the servers and the hula dancers were fantastic. If I had to make one criticism, the gentleman who played great guitar and had a great singing voice, was really quiet so even if you were in the middle to the back of the boat on the top end, you wouldn’t be able to really hear him. It also was a really windy day, so maybe I’m not being fair about it but just to let them know to maybe do like a soundtrack or something.
Great sunset, nice boat. Mediocre food and entertainment. The food was bland and room temperature and the entertainment was boring.
Such a wonderful sunset and dinner cruise. Staff and entertainment (guitarist and hula dancers) were very good. The food was delicious and plentiful the chicken was superb! It was a beautiful night with friendly guests and staff. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience Maui from the water to book with The Pride of Maui tours!!
It was a nice, casual experience. The crew were very nice and the food was good. We lucked out with beautiful weather and a gorgeous sunset (June 9). The wind was a bit wild, so we stayed close to shore making eating dinner easy even though most guests opted to stay down-below out of the gusts. The lone singer and two hula dancers were a nice touch and frankly I enjoyed them more than the full scale luau we attended earlier in our vacation. The drinks were fresh (again MUCH better than our luau) and the food good. There weren't an overwhelming number of food choices, but it was prepared well and plenty of it. Dessert was cheesecake and fruit and again very good. I would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the ocean. It was a wonderful way to end our stay in Maui.
The sunset was beautiful. The captain knows exactly where to stop the boat to get maximum view of the sunset.
The crew on this cruise was amazing! Everyone was extremely friendly. The hula dance was a nice touch. There was also live music. The drinks at the open bar were great. The food was also very yummy. They took good care of us. It was the perfect amount of time for a cruise.
It was a great time overall and the food with absolutely delicious. We got pretty good pictures and seats. The crew was very nice and attentive.
If you think you may get motion sick, this is not your dinner cruise. There were about 50 people on our cruise and 6 of them were green and/or vomiting, which makes it hard to enjoy eating dinner if you have any empathy. The dancers were beautiful. The scenery was breathtaking but the food was mediocre. Most people really enjoyed the open bar.
Very lovely we laughed and we ate and we enjoyed the water and waves. 10/10 will hopefully repeat yay
This was a good cruise. They took us to a view spot in a small cove to see the sunset. Good drinks and tasty food as well. Nice friendly atmosphere. Very windy! Hang onto your belongings.
The sunset cruise was good. Decent food and good entertainment. The only problem we experienced was the time we were to check in. Viator told us to check in in at 4:30 for 5:00 start time and cruise operator said check in was 5:10 for 5:30 start time resulting in myself, my husband, brother and sister-in-law waiting for almost an hour until check in by smelly dock with no where to sit. Get your timing right!
Peaceful and laid back- great activity for end of day or if your energy is low. Do it at the end of your trip (we did). Open bar and food was good. Pretty views, kind staff.
The crew was amazing! Very friendly and fun to talk to and very attentive to the guests. One crew member even got in the water with a guest and helped her learn to snorkel. The snorkeling spots were awesome.
Great food and entertainment, sunset was gorgeous, very windy that evening but overall experience was wonderful.
Hula show was not really a show it was a performance of the girl who cleaned the toilet earlier then prepared the food and danced for one minute. I am not exaggerating I recorded it 3 30 seconds. Food not good chicken was only dark meat not even combination of leg and thigh it was only dry thigh . Baby back rib was ok for $160 pp the could come up with at least better food We had a baby the discrimination of the boat said stroller accessible. Well it wasn’t we had to take the baby out and lift the stroller up to be able to take it over the ramp as the ramp was so narrow a large persons couldn’t even go through. And they didn’t let us take the stroller on the upper deck so the parents didn’t even see the one minute dancer and the horrible boring one man operation singer Overpriced False advertising all over the place about the food and the performances
From the beginning to the end we had the biggest welcome and the best night. The food was very good, they had chicken and ribs with sweet potatoes. The food was warm and delicious. Dessert was fruit and a cheesecake. The entertainment was perfect and we had the best weather and sunset. The drinks were wonderful and plenty,. The captain and his crew were so inviting and so helpful. I’d recommend and go again !
For people with balance issues this may be a tough activity for them. The buffet and bar are on the lower level of the boat. So if you cannot find a place below to sit with your plate and drink, you have to carry it up the stairs to the upper deck. Also the hula dancer had to cancel, they did get a man to sing, but looked forward to hula. But overall it was fun.
Beautiful views, great service from crew, surprise dolphin sighting. Music needs an upgrade, need back up hula dancer - ours was unable to make it so that was missing. Also we were told to arrive more than 30 mins earlier than check in.
It was a nice evening and the crew was so friendly. The singer/guitarist provided nice music for the event. The crew members who did the hula and many other duties were really good. The food was just so-so but did not ruin the outing by any means.
So amazing! The staff was amazingly friendly and the food was delicious. The hula dancers were very talented and being on a boat it was a very close, intimate setting. I loved it! Watching the sunset from a boat was pure magic. I highly recommend this event. It was wonderful!
Lovely experience from the start to the finish the crew was excellent music and hula dance very enjoyable great drinks and tasty food and the view around the island was breath taking unique experience
It was a great experience. The staff was wonderful, the food and drinks were great. Not overly crowded.
I would not recommend anyone take this cruise. The Entertainment lacked greatly. The singer looked as though he rolled out of bed & came straight to work. He did not sing well & the hula show was one woman. Nit really a hula show. The drinks were extremely watered down. All in all I would not recommend this cruise to anyone.
Wonderful staff and delicious food. Great way to see the island and have a nice time.
Was hoping for a better experience. One hula dancer, not really a show. Food was not great, no fish or poke, cold and bland. Drinks pretty weak. It was super windy (they can’t help that) was trying to try something new and wish we would have gone to a luau.
