Maui Snorkeling Adventure To Molokini And Turtle Town

Cruise and crew were great! Food could have been a bit better but honestly was what I expected. Would go again!

Did their tour of Molokini Crater and Turtle Town and would highly recommend them again! It was around $150 per person from 7:30am-12:30pm. I would encourage you to get there early, as parking can take up some time and if you want to get a good spot on the catamaran. We got there at 6:45am and there were people already in line to get onto the boat. They started to precheck in people around 7am so it didn't feel like you were stuck in line for too long. There's covered seating and outside seating, personally i'd recommend outside, but it also rained part way through our trip so we moved to the inside seating. Our boat wasn't full so it was doable to find a spot. - just something to note if your trip is full to probably check the weather and snag an indoor seat. Food was better than i expected. they had breakfast ready - eggs, sausage, muffins, Danishes, fruit, coffee, juice, and ginger ale. Post snorkel at Molokini crater we had a snack of veggie platter with hummus and non alcoholic drinks are unlimited. Lunch there were cold cuts from wholefoods, chips and also pulled pork sandwiches for a hot option. Post second snorkel they passed out ice cream for a snack. Unfortunately for us we didn't make it to turtle town as the weather wasn't great so they found another spot for us to snorkel in. Overall a great memorable trip! The only thing you really need to bring is a towel - they provide sunscreen, snorkel gear, noodles, included in the price. You can opt to rent wet suits but honestly the water is pretty warm I think when we went it was around 70-75 degrees.

Great food! Great activities! Awesome crew!! This was our first day in Maui and it was a great start to our trip!

Captain Kiwi and his crew gave a demonstration of how to use the snorkel gear and were very attentive to new snorkelers. The water was beautiful and clear. We went in the afternoon so Coral Gardens was our snorkel location. Highly recommend!

Staff were professional, helpful, and courteous. We really enjoyed the crater part. Unfortunately Turtle Town was disappointing because when we went there were no turtles. I wish they had a back up place to go if they find out there are no turtles at the first location. Lots of food/snacks. Beverage options outside of water were unclear unless you wanted to buy alcohol. The crater is worth a visit. Very unique with the amount of fish, birds, and landscape.

Overall, this excursion was great, we only had 2 issues. The original excursion was supposed to meet at 5:45, and depart at 6:30 in time to see the sunrise, and the excursion listed a maximum of 30 people. I’m not sure what the total number of people were on this trip, it was quite a bit more than 30. Also we ended up meeting at 6:45 and departing at 7:30am. Those were the 2 items we looked for in an excursion. The captain and the crew were amazing from beginning to end! They definitely had an organized plan from beginning to end. The boarding worked great 1st come 1st board, people didn’t stray from their seat when we saw marine life, and when we went to snorkel. Everything was in a safe well explained experience, something we never had with other excursions in the past!

This was so much fun! The crew were awesome and took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable snorkeling. Food was great! Check in process was super easy.

This was a fun 6hr leisure activity. 2 different swim sites, breakfast and lunch served. Amazing crew. They were friendly, and made sure you were having fun. We even saw turtles at the 2nd site.

We did two stops, one to see turtles closed to the coastline and then we headed to Molokini. There was always a person safe-warding our group from a paddle table in the water and there was a professional photographer on board to take picture on and off the water (this is paid extra if you want the pictures). Breakfast and lunch were basic but good. The team provided guidance and snorkeling fins and googles. Overall it was a very nice experience. We didn't saw many turtles, but we saw a lot of bigger fishes including eels in Molokini, water was very clear.

Amazing! We love to snorkel and wanted to experience an unforgettable snorkeling experience! The water at Molokini is crystal blue and the sea life was beautiful. Our 7 year old loved the slide and jumping off the diving board on the side of the boat. The crew was fantastic, breakfast and lunch and beverages were great, and it was plenty of snorkel time. Will totally do it again!

Boarded the quicksilver. The staff was outstanding and friendly the boat was clean and well organized the food was really good and the decongestant was exceptional.

Amazing clear water and colorful fish beyond description. Turtles were very cool to see as well. The crater was simply the most beautiful water I’ve ever seen. Great crew, great weather, great day!

The crew onboard were good, and the snorkelling equipment and food were also good. Unfortunately the boat was in the dry dock, which we were only informed about a couple of days earlier, and the new boat was very different to what we booked. Then due to weather we were unable to snorkel at a second site, so they took us back to the crater a second time. Despite the description having a backup location listed this wasn’t even mentioned.

Molokini was amazing with insanely clear waters! We got to see octopuses actively camouflaging! It didnt feel like enough time at molokini crater. It was cooling seeing the turtles at turtle town too.

We had so much fun on this snorkeling adventure! We had family members aged 7-60 on this trip. We also had all different skill levels of swimming. The kids had a blast jumping from the top of the boat.

The whole experience was amazing, but what truly stood out was that multiple people were experiencing sea sickness and Eddie was the first person to get water, paper towels, anything they needed.

This was my fourth time to Molokini so was excited to return. We considered many different snorkeling tours, but chose this one due to multiple stops, including Turtle Town. Unfortunately, even though it was a beautiful day, the crew decided the conditions weren't safe for Turtle Town. Instead of detouring to another stop, we spent the entire time at Molokini. While it is stunning and has gorgeous views, we unfortunately did not see many fish and there was little coral reef. So while we did get extra time at Molokini, most people had their fill and stayed on the boat long before our time was up. Not a lot of fish, no turtles or other marine life. The boat was also very crowded, so it was difficult to walk around and find a place for our belongings. As for the food, it was okay. Pastries and fruit for breakfast, veggies and hummus for a snack, and deli sandwiches for lunch. Drinks were available for purchase but not included. There was a photographer who took some great pictures during the day, but we were shocked to see the prices ($45 for one picture, or $140 for all of the pictures). The staff was pleasant but didn't do anything to stand out or make us feel special like other tours we've been on. Overall, an okay experience but not a highlight for our trip. More of a boat ride on a beautiful day than a memorable snorkeling trip.

This was a great adventure! The crew was knowledgeable and efficient. We spent about 1 hour snorkling at Molokini and another hour snorkeling at Turtle Town. The time went by quickly but everyone left happy and tired. Mahalo Malolo crew!!!

we weretold to show up at 6AM for check in only to be told they cancelled the trip and put us on a later tour at 7AM check in. we booked a semi private experience that turned out to be a large mass person dxperirnce. staff was amazingly nice! everyone was super friendly and made the experience nice. snorkel locations were pretty bad. just many fish, no coral and no turtles. just like 100 prople on the boat and even though the staff was amazjng it was not a very good experience if you really fsmiliar with or looking for lots of fish snd turtles.

They are great and accommodating. They supply gear, food, and drinks. Be sure to bring a way to pay for things like adult drinks and pictures

Great experience! The views were incredible. Only downfall was sitting in the front on the wooden benches were a little uncomfortable but decided to sit on the open nets on the way back and that was an incredible, comfortable experience. Crew members and service were also great, lunch wasn’t quite as expected but still tasty! Overall would recommend!

It was great fun. Well organized. A little confusing in the early morning to start. Food service was ready when we got on board. Crew was very helpful.

The snorkeling adventure was great but we thought the turtle town adventure was even better! Our captain was excellent and very informative regarding the area. Getting on and off the boat was good because there were gentle steps and it was easy. We were given lots of room to spread out for the snorkeling and overall everything was very organized. For turtle town, my husband and I both got to swim with several turtles and it was definitely the highlight. They were not afraid of us and would swim right up to us which was a delight! We were also served breakfast (muffins) and lunch (sandwiches) which were good and hit the spot with all the snorkeling. This snorkeling trip to Molokini and Turtle Town was well worth it!!!

It was such a fun experience! The crew was knowledgeable, personable, and helpful. The reef and views were gorgeous! I would totally do it again!

Unfortunately, we couldn't snorkel Molokini because of the current, but the captain did his best to make it happen. Turtle Town was wonderful, and the other location they took us to had some beautiful fish. Breakfast and lunch were tasty.

Wonderful experience with Malolo boat ! We enjoyed the snorkeling at 3 sites and Captain added an extra site to snorkel since the weather was perfect than expected. There was breakfast and lunch served. Three kinds of sandwiches for lunch and beverages. Breakfast was also good with different pastries, fruits, coffee & juice. The best part was the price was cheaper than others that only had 2 hours tour. Ours was 5 hours for $159 while others were average $199 and up. All in all, we had a great experience! I highly recommend it!

Very fun trip. Crew was friendly and knowledgeable, saw lots of ocean life. Lots of room to get on and off the boat so there was never a feeling of being rushed. Good food and drinks on board.

So far the best snorkeling trip I’ve ever been on. This was no rush, chill snorkeling with more than enough time to see the areas. They were well organized & had multiple float options for people who wanted that. The food provided was actual food too.. not just quick packaged snacks so they could say they gave you something! Fruit, veggies, deli sandwiches for lunch …. Fruit & pastries for breakfast.

Me and my wife chose to do this activity together while being on our anniversary. My wife is diving certified but this was very new to me. With me being new, I was very comfortable in doing this activity with this charter. They were amazing. The crew interacted while making sure our safety was priority. I would definitely do this activity again especially with this charter.

Unfortunately there was 1 crew member that was less than helpful. The boat had speaker issues and did replay important safety info. When the crew member was told we were treated as it was our issue.He was not helpful. We don't care of he was on survivor. The snorkeling was great beside Mr attitude.

The entire staff was entirely amazing! Everyone was so tentative and the day was filled with so much fun! Breakfast and lunch were also very tasty. The snorkeling was truly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen! Highly recommend, this was such a beautiful day on the water.

We booked this to enjoy the snorkeling. Apparently, the waves were too big so they didn’t take us to the turtle town. And for the fishes, we saw 3 types! Nothing more. There are bunch of other agencies as well which will take you to the same location with better boats, faster boats and assuming better food. While the staff were good, the service was very commercial!
