We loved this dolphin excursion. It was our favorite tour on the island. We want to go back for the whales. The guides were friendly and funny. We saw so many dolphins, it was amazing. Definitely make this part of your visit to Maui!
We had the absolute best trip with Zach and Bri!! We were booked to see dolphins but thanks to their knowledge and watchful eye, they spotted one of the very first whales of the season months before the season even starts. Couldn’t have been better!! Highly recommend for anyone considering!

Meeting point is not at the dock so you will walk a short distance to the boat. This is because of the fire destruction that happened.
Captain Zach and crewmember Meredith could not have been more knowledgeable or helpful. They were both so engaging and had so much interesting information to share with us. We got lucky and saw dolphins shortly after we departed and boy did we see 100’s of them. Fantastic excursion and Zach and Meredith made it better because of the interesting things they shared with us!!
This was a great experience! We saw 50 or more dolphins at least...many very up close and personal! The crew were knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommended.
A fun experience for the family. Saw many dolphins and some babies. We also saw turtles as the raft takes off by a popular turtles cleaning station. We enjoyed it.
Overall it is a good experience. they told you to be there 30 mins ahead of time. We went there earlier and it felt a bit wasted of time while waiting. The search for dolphins was good and fun. Jake and Nicole were good. I wish the ending was more with dolphins instead of seeing other things. I also felt it ended a bit earlier than schedule time.

My family and I had an amazing experience on the Eco Raft dolphin tour! Even brought our three year old 🥰 We saw so many dolphins….it was absolutely incredible and far exceeded our expectations. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and did a wonderful job sharing educational information about the marine life and the local environment throughout the tour. We also really appreciated the snacks and drinks they provided, which were a thoughtful touch. It was the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and relaxation. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!
Incredible experience. Dolphins were right next to our feet. Saw baby dolphins and even an out of season whale. Guide and captain were great. Absolutely must do!

Captain Zack and deckhand Cy were amazing!!! They were knowledgeable, kind, funny and my kids loved them!!! We booked this activity last minute and we do not regret it!! So much fun, saw tons of dolphins and even cleaned up some trash in the ocean!! If I could give 100 stars I would!
Outstanding trip: we saw late-season humpbacks (female, offspring, two trailing males) plus a dolphin escort, in addition to the spinner dolphins more usually seen this time of year (early to mid-May). The pilot and assistant were knowledgeable about these mammals and their behaviors, and knew where to look for them. And the assistant dispensed snacks and beverages besides--much appreciated!
Captain Jack and Nicole did an awesome job. They did a great job explaining the island and the sea life. We got to see whales and dolphins upclose. Captain Jack did a great job making sure folks on the boat were comfortable and not getting to green in the waves.

Amazing experience. Saw many pods of dolphins and our tour guides were amazing and knowledgeable. I wish encounters were a little closer but with boat engines I don’t blame dolphins shying away. Had a really good time.

Great experience. Captain Jack and our guide, Bree, were awesome. It was a beautiful calm day on the water. We found a large pod of dolphin with minutes of leaving the dock. we also saw spotted Eagle rays as we were boarding and a few sea turtles. Both Jack and Bree provided commentary and color to the experience. i would recommend this tour and come again. Debbie and Shane
We had such a great time! We saw sea turtles, a bottle nosed dolphin and a pod of 200 Spinner dolphins!! The crew was knowledgeable and accommodating. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. It was well worth the price!
We just had the most amazing dolphin watching trip with Captain Jack and Val! We went out on the 9am tour and they started by taking us over towards Lanai to try to find that pod of Hawaiian spinner dolphins. While on the way there we saw some sea turtles and flying fish. When we got to Lanai, we couldn't find any dolphins, but the guides shared with us some history and legends of Lanai and pointed out some things on shore. When we turned to head back, however, we had to pass through a small storm, so it was raining, wet, and a bit of a bumpy ride! Throughout this though, the guides were very calm, informative, and funny. They were going to refund us our trip due to the weather, but as we approached Maui, the sun came out and we stumbled upon a pod of dolphins! They extended the time of our tour so we got to spend time with this pod of about 200 dolphins all around us! While we were there, Val taught us about the Hawaiian spinner dolphins and they even put a Hydrophone in the water and we got to hear the dolphins clicking to each other! The guides were great and made the most of the weather, but then we got lucky with dolphins too, so we thoroughly enjoyed the trip! This will be a Maui vacation highlight for me for sure!

What an exciting 2hour adventure this tuned out to be. Jill and Jess were so knowledgably and the perfect crew to locate the whales and give us so much information about the marine life we were seeing. The tour staff was great! They even stopped to get a large sum of trash out of the ocean and rescued fish trapped in it. They live up to being an eco-friendly tour! Also got to see a momma and baby whale! Would book again
We were unsure if we would see any whales, since it's close to the end of the season. However, the crew, Jill & Jess, gave so much great education and we had a many sightings, even a turtle! Found moms, babies and escort whales. These creatures are so awe inspiring and the babies are curious and playful. The best was saved for last when one of the whales breached out of the water! Truly an experience to remember!!

Our guides were Jack and Val and they were THE BEST!!! Great stories, fantastic at finding the whales for us, and they made the trip such a blast. We got to see all types of whale behavior, breaches and comp pods and even whales swimming under the boat! This was my second year going out and I will definitely will be returning next year!!!!

Great time with Jack and Val! We went for an early cruise. The water was a little choppy due to the light rain, but the overcast skies didn’t dampen our spirits! Great context, facts and conversations from Val and Jack. They were extremely knowledgeable and lead us to some great whale encounters.
What a way to start your day! A beautiful sunrise and whales…..so many whales! and the experience was truly enhanced by having Jess & Levi as our crew. I usually go out whale watching on the inflatable style boats, but the monohull was my only option on this early morning run…..and it did not disappoint. A very smooth ride, not crowded at all (even though it was a sold out tour!). I was nervous that I would not be able to get underwater shots with my GoPro because we were a few feet above the water line - but it was fine - I got some great underwater footage thanks to a little help from Captain Levi :-). Jess was very knowledgeable about the whales, and very patient with the many questions from a couple of young kids on board. It was truly a magical morning on the water. Next year I’m buying a one week pass with Hawaii Ocean Rafting

A ton of fun. Val and Country were amazing guides. Being in a smaller boat with just a handful of people made the experience so personal. We felt so close to the whales and turtles. Hands down, best bang for your buck on the island. Book it!!!

Able to see quite a few whales, mostly from a distance. Relatively close baby whale breaching though. Country and Jess were knowledgeable and helpful. It was pretty hot sitting in the sun, but I was allowed to move into the shade for a while. Wear your sunscreen!
We actually took 4 trips with this company, so we really did like them. Three were on a monohull boat and one on their raft (which I reviewed separately). I always prefer a raft but sometimes they are not available. In view of the tragedy of the fires to Lahaina, we were thankful to go out and this company seemed to work hard to accommodate us. We did have the most action on the raft, but that's probably just by chance. The others did work to get some good action. My only suggestion would be that they should make drinks/water available on board. Only a few people could be in the shade and after two hours, it can get tough. They asked us to mention the crew and two rides were with Jack and Val and the first one was at 11:20 on 2/21 and I can't remember. But all seemed knowledgeable (and I've been on a LOT of whale watches) and wanting to give us a good experience. We would definitely recommend them.
