Such an amazing experience with Maui Plane Rides! We flew past Lanai and around the West Maui Mountains, and the views were absolutely unreal. Seeing Maui from a little plane is a completely different experience, so beautiful! The best part was getting to actually fly the plane for a little bit, which was equal parts exciting and slightly surreal 😂. The pilot was awesome, super friendly, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and fun. Definitely one of those “only on Maui” adventures we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommend!

While the flight itself was technically fine—we managed to see several islands and many beautiful spots around Maui—I left the experience feeling quite disappointed. Two of what were supposed to be the biggest highlights of the trip for us were completely missed. First, we didn't get to see the Molokai cliffs at all, which was one of the main reasons we booked this specific tour. Second, despite the description explicitly stating that there would be an opportunity to take the controls and fly the plane for a moment, this never happened. These two aspects were the things we were looking forward to the most. I know they are usually part of the experience because I saw numerous reviews and photos from other participants who got to enjoy both. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of what was advertised. It was a decent flight for sightseeing Maui, but it definitely lacked the core elements we actually paid for.

This was an amazing experience! We did this instead of a helicopter. It was our last day in Maui, and none of the helicopter companies had other people going. So they couldn't promise us we could go up. However, we then discovered Maui Plane Rides, and I'm so glad we did! Not only were they able to get us in last minute, it was more intimate. It's just you and your party... No strangers. The flight was smooth, amazingly scenic, and informative. We saw sights we would have never seen from the ground, especially on Malokai! The cliffs and waterfalls were breathtaking! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience! Do yourself a favor, and book this incredibly memorable experience.

Wonderful tour! No other way to see so many islands in one morning! The views were absolutely amazing! Our guide made sure we were able to get pictures of the Beautiful Beaches, Mountains, Islands, Volcano Lava Trails & Ocean! It is a must do if you want to see more than what you can see from the ground/road!

Pilot was amazing and so detailed and showed us so much more than we thought we’d see, and overall such a wonderful one in a lifetime experience.

Eric provided a great flight around the islands. He has a very comforting presence and keeps you relaxed if you are new to small planes. The views are like nothing else you can see while on the island and the camera window is great for getting those once in a lifetime shots of the islands.

Such an amazing experience seeing the islands from a view nobody else in the world was seeing at the time! The tallest sea cliffs in the world and so many waterfalls! Our pilot was amazing 👏 and so nice and positive especially good with the kids! My son got to fly the plane! I couldn't have asked for a better pilot. He was knowledgeable about the islands and always making sure we were having a great time. I booked this because it was plus sized friendly unlike many helicopter tours and you really get the bang for your buck! I'd definitely do it again! Mahalo

Lovely tour of the island with a really friendly and knowledgeable guide - bumpy but he kept us reassured through the whole ride and showed us places you’d never see from land!

This was such a special experience! The view from above provides a gorgeous perspective for appreciating the beauty of the islands and the ocean. The turquoise water, the dramatic landscapes, and the incredible aerial views of the humpback whales were all awe-inspiring. Highly recommend!
