Luxury Snorkel Cruise With Dolphin Watch And Hawaiian Meal

It was an amazing experience…the captain and crew were wonderful. It was my first time snorkeling and I was amazed by all the fish & turtles. They also made sure we saw some dolphins! The food and drinks were delicious! Would definitely go again the next time we come to Oahu!

Not recommending for solo travel. Got food poisoning after. Definitely overpriced, do not meet any of my expectations. Lack of customer service.

It was beautiful. The captain was knowledgeable and the crew was very helpful and continuously checking if we needed anything. Highly recommend Garret, Noah and the rest of the gang!

This cruise was excellent! We saw so many dolphins!! It was wonderful. We also saw a turtle while we were snorkling! The area for the snorkel was not amazing, coral was quite deep and not very lively, but the dolphins we saw from the boat more than made up for that. The lunch was delicious (pork, chicken, rice and many other things too). Tons of drinks too!!! Awesome way to spend a half day, do this!!!

Our crew on our boat yesterday were so amazing! They made it such an amazing experience! Adam made the snorkeling such a fun experience. His expertise was impressive and we got some great pictures!

This was an amazing trip. The spinner dolphins are so different from the bottle nose dolphins. There were so many of them swimming in small groups. The large catamaran motor boat was very well equipped and comfortable. The captain, crew and photographers were all outstanding. Although not as close as the Honolulu snorkel trips, it much better in all aspects.

This tour was so fun!! We saw dolphins, turtles, tons of fish, and even got to hold an octopus and other sea critters! I would 100% recommend and would definitely do again!

Crew was the best, an experience to remember. Full service, relaxation and fun. This crew goes the extra mile to make it a memorable experience. Dolphins, turtles, octopus and fish were present while we were snorkeling and even starfish.-great views. The food was unexpected with a great local flare.

I definitely recommend not only were the staff knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely opportunistic. The views are amazing. The boat is clean and safe. On top of all of that you can have an unforgettable experience all with the pictures to match in and out of water!!!

Gorgeous day on west side of Oahu! Headed out early from the Marina- on-time at 8:00 am- great trip up the coast- sittings of Spinner Dolphins, a turtle, and loads of flying fish! Two pods of dolphins - so we were really lucky. Snorkeling stop was fun- and trip was topped off with a really good lunch; very welcome with cold drinks after sun and water! Thanks to Captain Garrett and morning crew!

What a fantastic tour. The crew couldn’t have been nicer, the views spectacular, holding an octopus amazing, food and drinks yummy. No dolphins this time but the rest of the trip made up for that.

Garrett, John, Jacob, & Noah were amazing! They made it so fun for all! From a 10 month old to folks in their 70’s- they were patient, funny? Informative, and polite! I HIGHLY recommend this excursion!!

Price was good. Didn’t get to see dolphins but a lot of different kind of fish.

The crew were exceptionally friendly and attentive even to those of us who had some fears. They were informative and definitely service oriented. We loved it. The pictures are fabulous that they took too.

I love the boat ride they guaranteed to see dolphin and that happen. The staff was amazing. The food was amazing. The drink was amazing. I cried my eyes off when I saw the dolphins. They took pictures and they were so good too thank you guys.

We absolutely loved our morning snorkel and sightseeing cruise with Ocean Joy! This was the #1 highlight of our time on O'ahu. The crew was fun, thoughtful, and all-around just a good vibe. We saw a green sea turtle, dolphins, a day octopus, and of course plenty of fish by the reef! The food was delicious, snorkel equipment clean and easy-to-use, and the boat comfortable and accommodating. The warm-water hose off after being in the salt water was a nice plus too. There were maybe just 4 or 5 other couples on board with us, so it never felt crowded. The photographer on board got so many great pics - including of us underwater! We did not hesitate at all to purchase the photo package at the end - they were so cool, and definitely worth the value of now having to worry about your own phone the entire time. We'd originally booked our cruise with a different company -- "Ko Olina Ocean Adventures" -- but then they texted us the afternoon before our tour saying they were cancelling it because they couldn't fulfill "the guest minimum" to make it worth their money... So we quickly pivoted to booking with Ocean Joy Cruises (and even saved about $50!) and are SO happy that we did! We'd choose Ocean Joy over and over again! 5 stars!

Fairly limited range of snorkeling once we hit the water. Not a lot to see, not permitted to find more. "Premium lunch" was far from it and not enough to go around, quality not considered. Crew was amazing, joyful, pleasant to ride with, but the description on the tour and the price really miss the mark for what was delivered.

We loved our time sailing with this crew! Everyone was sweet and attentive. We got to see dolphins, Manni found us an octopus to hold, and it was overall a great time.

I booked this tour because my husband lives the dolphins and the last time we were in Honolulu we went to an aquarium and swam with them in a controlled environment, this was a completely different experience. I read that it was on a nice boat - inside and outside sitting , snorkeling , good food and an open bar !! My husband and I are extroverts with people we know but are very private in public settings. I saw this because this entire crew made us feel comfortable front start to finish. Every crew member from the snorkel crew, photographer and shipmates and captain were all dedicated to make sure we are all super comfortable and have what we need and want. The 3 1/2 hour tour was good timing and movement. The pros: absolutely worth the money. It’s like having a private boat with a full crew and some new shipmates- just the right amount of other people - many are couples or families - very comfortable. I don’t know where that meal came from - but it was delicious and on time - especially that salad dressing - I wanted to snag the bottle ;) - I like when everyone works together to make things run smoothly - awesome crew. The only Con (and this is 100% my problem) is that we had to meet at 7:30am , meaning I had to be up by 6am in Vacation - but no worries - they have different departures times- we chose the 8am (7:30 check- in) because we were leaving the following day and wanted to enjoy the entire day. If you’re having any doubts - don’t. I tend to be associated with having high standards and would probably be more comfortable in a private yacht - I can tell you- they are right up there. Their attention to detail and their detail to customer service - with everyone working together makes this better !!! I give it 5 stars ⭐️ !! My only regret was not taking more pictures together - a they have an option for you to have access to all the pictures- although We only took a few of us in particular - it was worth it because it was a great deal. Other highlights - a they have 2 very clean bathrooms - I know - sounds like a small detail - but a very important one. To me, the price was reasonable for the service, in fact I would have paid more. Saying this - make sure to TIP your crew - after this adventure we went to the local supermarket to get water and some snacks and WOW I though prices in Los Angeles are crazy - Hawaii’s everyday costs of living are CRAZY - so til these super hard working guys ! BTW- I’m not a robot or paid/compensated review - I don’t have any social media at all - but when I was looking at the pictures and I saw a section for a review - Absolutely!!! I think this is so worth it and amazing - remember - the more you participate- the funner it will be ! I got more comfortable towards the middle - enjoy yourself

Loved the care they took with all the parties at the boat. Snorkeling, seeing lots of dolphins and sea turtle with their turtle cave was just wonderful. Food and staff was wonderful. Very good experience.

My wife and I had a great time on our snorkeling experience. The guys and gals on the boat were very professional and made sure were well taken care of.

The crew was amazing. I especially enjoyed having the photographer available to provide professional photos at a reasonable price. The hot meal was delicious. We saw tons of beautiful fish and turtles. Highly recommend this excursion!

Transport from Wakiki was easy and our driver was very friendly and shared lots of interesting information on the drive. There were less than 20 of us on the cruise that day so there was plenty of room for everyone. The crew on the boat were friendly and attentive and checked in frequently to see if we needed anything. At one point I was given a pool noodle without asking to use as a pillow to make lying down on the deck more comfortable! We managed to see a pod of dolphins as well as a few turtles up close. My husband and I had never seen turtles in the wild before so this was very exciting! The snorkeling was a bit harder than expected due to a strong current but the crew did what they could to make this easier for us. I enjoyed the buffet lunch, there were a couple of meat options and a couple of a sides. There were a few people on our boat who had dietary restrictions and they were given their own boxed meals.

So glad we did this! The crew (Garrett, John, Jacob and Kiwone) were so much fun! We saw dolphins, turtles, and one of the crew even dove down and picked up an octopus to let the kids touch/take photos with. Food was delicious and drinks were strong 🤙🏼 Would definitely do it again.

We had a great trip! Saw lots of Dolphins. Unfortunately the water was too murky to snorkel, but we cruised around looking for other sea life. No snorkeling meant the bar was open earlier and the passengers liked that. The lunch was particularly enjoyable, and the crew was super friendly.

Can’t say enough good things about this tour. The experience was well organized from start to finish! The staff was friendly and very attentive to all the passengers. They took extra care to assist my husband and I to be successful when snorkeling. The lunch was a pleasant surprise. We left the boat happy tourists!

Very laid back relaxing experience not too grouted, great staff, not a lot of fish to see but we did see the dolphins which were abundant. I recommend it just for the chill. I suggest going without expecting to see much in regards to fish. Not shallow enough really to snorkel.

First off, I would have hoped you would have thought to not send out the text to fill out a survey given what took place today. During today’s snorkel tour, one of the guests on your boat had a medical emergency and required immediate medical attention. A member of my family who is a registered nurse was the only person competent in providing CPR and operating the AED. From my observation the crew was not knowledgeable in any sort of first response aid. One of the crew members was heard saying they didn’t know how to use the AED nor did anyone know how to do CPR. My family member who again is a registered nurse was the only one who knew what to do. The crew was panicked. When we got back to the dock and the EMTs were able to take over the owner came on the boat and was more concerned about not wasting the food they had made and being able to go out on the sunset cruise later that night. The owner also addressed the guests saying this has happened before a long while ago and then offered the guests to partake in dinner. There was no compassion for all the guests including young children that just witnessed what is assumed to be a death of one of the guests and a grieving daughter who witnessed this. This owner was more concerned about business than showing empathy. Emergencies happen when you least expect it and the captain and crew should be competent to handle these situations. It’s a physical activity and regardless of the waivers we all sign there is an expectation that the crew is prepared and able to care for the guests when these situations happen. On a perfect day when all goes right I’m sure the reviews would be overwhelmingly positive but when things don’t go well is when we expect those who are responsible for our wellbeing to shine, and Ocean Joy Cruises fell very short. I encourage you all to retake any required certifications to be ready when this ever happens again. Do it for your guests who deserve it.

Was absolutely fantastic! Swam with a turtle, saw Spinner dolphin and Pygmy killer whales. The food was also delicious!

Fantastic day on the water The three crew members were outstanding, so happy and helpful. The food were amazing, so tender and tasteful. Saw dolphins, snorkeling with reef fish and saw a sea turtle. We both enjoyed our time onboard so much and would highly recommend it. And went home with a great photo package. Will be doing it again next time in Hawaii

Captain Garrett and his crew did an awesome job finding dolphins, turtles, fish, squid and all sorts of marine life. The trip was one of the best snorkeling trips we have ever been on.

So our first excursion got canceled the day before we are suppose to go, and a friend of ours said to check out this company that docks at the same location. With a hope and prayer we were able to book within the hour of finding out about our cancelation. The day came and the whole crew went out of their way to welcome us, on our way to location we were able to see dolphins which they guarantee when you book. Once we got to location we saw so many fish and got to take pictures with the cameraman Adam, it was an absolute dream to see so many fish, a black tip reef shark and my wife’s favorite sea turtles. After an hour or so of snorkeling we were treated to a delicious Hawaiian buffet. And I highly recommend you purchase the picture package the pictures came out perfect and at such an unbeatable price! Usually photos from these excursions aren’t great, but as a photographer my self I was skeptical…but Adam crushed it!! So glad we did it. Next time we’re in oahu we will for sure book this again. This was a great event. It started off with us sailing out to an area where we were able to see spinner dolphins in their natural habitat, with a number of them swimming by within 4-6 feet from us. We witnessed them doing their signature spin. The view of the coast was breathtaking. After spending some time there we went to another location where we went snorkeling. The crew walk you through safety procedures and provide everything that’s needed. It was a pleasant experience with all the different species of fish around us. Following that we ate a delicious meal. This is an activity my family and I would definitely be repeating when we return to Oahu.

This was the highlight of my families trip. The workers on the boat were all welcoming and friendly. We saw so many beautiful things snorkeling. The dinner was delicious even for my picky eater. I would highly recommend doing this.

Had a great time cruising with the excellent Captain Pat and his crew. A professional photographer on board captured every moment so we didn't have to worry about juggling our phones. The tour opened with Pat spotting a pod of about 2 dozen dolphins that ended up swimming along the boat for half an hour. Eventually we broke off to go for a snorkel. Loads of fish, sea stars, and a sea turtle. After snorkeling we had a delicious meal and cruised along the coast with cocktails until heading back to the Marina. It was a great time and the crew was super attentive.

Captain Patrick and his crew did a fantastic job. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. We saw the beautiful Hawaiian terrain; giving us a positively different perspective from the water. We saw Hawaiian Spinner dolphins with babies, turtles, manta ray, absolutely stunning flying fish and beautiful crystal clear blue water. Well worth booking this excursion.

Fantastic day! The water was cloudy, so fish were hard to see; NOT Ocean Joy’s problem (Hurricane Lala is headed our way.) The dolphins and flying fish were wonderful!

We had it all....a turtle, dolphins, sun, wind in our hair, great views, safe snorkeling, delicious buffet, great fun captain, crew and photographer. Left exhausted and happy! Our 2 year old fell asleep on the way to the car.
