Great guide who took us to see places we had not been to before. Nice beaches and lava field. Snorkeling we saw turtles and other marine life, but highlight was playing with octopus! Awesome ! (I would suggest a step for short people)

Our experience was great! Our tour guide, Alex, was very personable and showed us a side of the island that we didn’t get to see at our resort. We saw three sea turtles and a bunch of other wildlife. Definitely recommend giving this tour a shot if you’re looking for things to do in Maui.

Our guide for the day was Payson, an absolute legend, we saw amazing places and got to learn about some of the interesting history and trivia about the area. The snorkeling was honestly mind blowing, lots of huge sea turtles and tropical fish. Would recommend this experience to everyone.

This is an adventure! We got Robbie as our guide. He was great, very relaxed and super friendly. He also took some amazing photos. Not having to worry about taking pictures is awesome, you can just focus on the experience. We went to some beautiful places, even went back to one another day!

This was a great time! We got to see the beautiful white coral beach hidden in the lava fields, tips on where to see Spinner Dolphins in the am. The secret beach and black sand beach. Our Snorkel trip was the best part, we got to see a turtle, lots of fish and a baby octopus! Robbie was the best guide, he was very helpful with my daughter for her first snorkel trip. 10/10 best trip we booked!

No vehicle off roading. No food, as listed in the description. Robbie was an excellent guide, photographer/videographer and historian as we journeyed through the tour. His calm demeanor was very helpful when one of us took a little longer to adapt to snorkeling. He found turtles, and offered hands-on with sea urchins and an octopus! Robbie definitely made the tour! The "lifted off road vehicle" had no running boards or step stool available. Very difficult to get into for shorter customers. Very frustrating-certainly detracted from the experience!

Not a off road adventure just a ride in a 4x4 vehicle to the snorkeling location. Robbie was awesome and the location he took us to snorkel was the best we experienced he was totally chill and very attentive and made all of our time in the water perfect.

Had a fantastic time with Alec. This was our family’s first time snorkeling. Due to some unforeseen conditions in South Maui, Alec drove us all the way up north to Honolua bay after a quick tour of some of the beaches in the south. Alec was very patient and helpful with one of our kids who was having a little trouble getting fully comfortable. Everything was awesome, got to swim with a lot of turtles, and he sent us hundreds of pictures and videos of everyone. Great way to spend the last day of our trip here, and we’d recommend it to anyone.

Robbie was an amazing tour guide, me and the boys had an amazing time snorkeling! We got to see sea turtles and even an octopus snorkeling in Honolua Bay! Cruising around in the open top bronco and learning some history about the island was fun. My boys said snorkeling was their favorite part of the trip for them! Thanks so much for an amazing time!

Tried reaching out to this tour operator several times and the owner doesn’t communicate. I booked the tour with the special deal pricing they had on TripAdvisor then he messaged me three days before our trip to say we need to cancel it and pay for a more expensive tour. Bait and switch.

Robbie was amazing. He not only showed us great local beach sites near our hotel (Wailea), he was the greatest snorkel instructor for our family’s first time. We saw amazing sea life , coral, etc…such a great experience!!! Thank you Robbie.

We had a great morning exploring hidden beaches, lookout points, and Turtle Town with Robbie! It was a really laid-back tour and we enjoyed the stories he shared about Hawaiian history, too. He found starfish and sea urchins for us to hold, and we pet an octopus! We’ve loved sharing the many pictures he took with our family and friends and will remember this morning as one of our favorites on our first trip to Maui!

Derrick was our guide and there is no better way to see the island and snorkel the secret beaches than being driven in a doors off bronco. Everything was chill, low pressure and we got to swim with turtles. Way less stress when your not the one driving.

We took this trip today for my bf’s birthday. Derek was our guide. We were supposed to be with another couple but they canceled last minute so .. happy birthday! Private tour! All I can say is AMAZING. Since it was just us he let us guide the time we were at places and what we wanted to do. I am very claustrophobic and he was extremely patient and encouraging when I had a small panic attack at first when I put my mask on. He put my fins on because I kept falling down🤦🏼‍♀️. The scenery cannot be beat and he took us to the most beautiful place to snorkel. We even snorkeled in Adam Sandler’s back yard. He was a very knowledgeable and fun guide. He took us to several beaches and the lava fields and we saw where the natives first lived. Highly recommended!

This tour is a fun adventure, but keep in mind that it's a step above beginner level. While it’s advertised as an off-roading experience, there’s not much actual off-roading involved. You will get to hike to some unique spots that you might not otherwise visit on your own. For the snorkeling portion, it's important to be more than a beginner swimmer. We swam out a little over a quarter mile to the snorkeling site, where we had the chance to hold some fascinating sea creatures. The highlights were spotting a shark and a turtle—oh, and swimming in Adam Sandler’s backyard! Robbie and Joe were fantastic guides, making the experience even more enjoyable. Be sure to bring extra water and a snack, and be prepared for a cozy ride in the truck.

Was an amazing day. Robbie and Alex were our guides today. We had a party of 7 mostly in our 50’s. We went to 4 different beaches, lava fields and beautiful sandy beaches. We then went snorkeling for the first time. There were beautiful fish and reefs. The highlight was by far seeing the octopus and turtles for me. Highly recommend this company and would book again

We had a wonderful time on this tour and truly appreciated the enthusiasm and knowledge of our guide — they really made the experience special! Hearing the backstories of the different places we visited, getting the chance to take beautiful photos with the stunning sea life, and enjoying the overall atmosphere made it a memorable day. It definitely felt like a luxury experience and offered great value for what we were looking for. That said, I would suggest the tour provider consider adjusting the way the experience is titled or described, particularly regarding the “off-roading” aspect. While it was included in the title, the off-roading portion was very limited, and because of how it was highlighted, it set expectations for something more substantial. If it were simply mentioned briefly in the experience details rather than emphasized, I believe it would better align with what’s actually delivered — and avoid any disappointment for guests expecting a more intense off-roading adventure. Overall, it was a fantastic tour, and if you’re looking for an enjoyable, behind-the-scenes snorkelling and sightseeing adventure with great storytelling and photo opportunities, I would definitely recommend it. Just go for the full experience — not specifically for the off-roading.

This was an amazing off-road, snorkel adventure, Robbie was great, to have this personal experience couldn’t have gone any better. We highly recommend this experience. We went places that we didn’t even know about and history that was so interesting. Again one of the best trips we ever went on. Sea turtles we got to hold an octopus and the starfish native to Maui..

We booked a private tour with Robbie. We went in the blue Bronco to the white coral beach and walked along the lava fields. Then we went to Secret Beach and Big Beach. Along Big beach, we took a small trail for a beautiful lookout to the whole area. This also includes a snorkeling adventure at Turtle town. A very nice tour for us! Robbie was able to accommodate to our needs as my husband has a serious illness. Very much appreciated and I would highly recommend this tour company! This was our second trip to Maui and I went to areas I probably wouldn’t have gone to if not for this tour. We booked a private tour but they also do regular bookings as well.

This was such an amazing day! It truly was one of the best tours we’ve ever taken and my husband said it was the best snorkeling experience ever. The off road coastal tour was the perfect tour for my husband and I. Our guide Robbie showed us many “secret” beaches and was a wealth of information regarding the beaches and the area. I didn’t know Maui actually had lava fields and black sand beaches (or a nudist beach either!!). Our last stop was to go snorkeling at the turtle caves which was a highlight! We saw many big turtles, sea urchins and even a white tipped shark. I loved how Robbie took lots of pics and videos of us and the sea life and sent them all to us after!! Great keepsakes of a great day!

The owner of this small company, Adam, worked tirelessly to accommodate my family after our first tour had to be canceled due to ocean conditions. We did an off-road tour to quaint beaches with black sand, tide pools, and perfect light brown sand to enjoy the ocean. After, we went to the lava fields where we walked along a path and out to a beach. We saw two goats and beautiful blue waters. On our way back, we stopped for fresh coconuts and sweet bananas. Derrick, our guide was personable and knew a lot about the island and some of its history. We are eager to schedule another tour the next time we’re in Maui. Mahalo.

Family trip with our 2 college aged boys, ooked for something different. Robbie was our guide and showed us some amazing off the beaten path beaches. Then snorkle from the rocks and shores...just wow! Robbie took some amazing pictures and videos of us with over a dozen sea turtles and found an octopus we could hold. Robbie is so knowledge and personable, a once in a lifetime.

This was one of our most memorable excursions from our trip to Maui! The Bronco is in top notch condition and a blast to drive. The offroad trail map provided was great. It lead us to some locations we certainly wouldn't have found or been able to access otherwise. Our snorkel guide led us to some great spots. We may have gotten lucky, but turtles and fish were everywhere! In general, this tour was great. Highly recommended!

I went with my girlfriend and we had the best time! The lava fields were incredible, the pull offs for 4 wheel drive were just the right amount to get the experience and fun of off roading but not make you sick or anything. My girlfriend loved sitting on top of the bronco rails by the ocean for pictures, and the snorkeling was amazing as well. 10/10 would recommend, mahalo team 🤙🏽

We had a fabulous time on the Coastal 4x4 Tour with Robbie. We have two teen sons and wanted more than just a typical snorkel tour with a lot of other people. This tour was exactly what we wanted! We got off the beaten path to see things we wouldn't have found on our own and certainly not on a big tour. Robbie is also excellent snorkel guide. He led us to the spots where we would most likely see turtles (and we did!) and other fun creatures. As an added bonus, Robbie is an amazing photographer, and armed with just a phone camera got some fantastic videos and pics of our family. If you want a very small-group or private tour for your family, this tour is a great deal! It was the same price as a giant snorkel tour. I have been on big snorkel tours before and this was WAY better than any snorkel tour I have been on! I recommend to anyone going to Maui!
