A lovely day for sail. Staff was very attentive, the snorkeling wasn't so great as I was really hoping for more fish, the food spread was fabulous and the sailing was really great going back until it got really choppy 😃

We went on a 4+ hr tour and it was one for the books! Crew were so nice and helpful. Food was delicious. And the snorkeling was A++! We saw a spotted eagle ray and even a pod of dolphins on our way back - thanks to Captain Kevin for detouring a tad for us! The boat was super clean and I was impressed by their safety and their cleanliness! If we ever come back we’ll definitely go with SailMaui!! Mahalo!!

Quality instructions on the meeting spot. Very friendly hosts and continued communication for the entirety of the trip. Very good service and overall an amazing time! Worth the money and lasted the five hours that was in the description. Fun atmosphere while ensuring safety. Had a small crowd and it made the experience much more fun and more personal. Best for a fun day of sailing and snorkeling with friendly people!

Someone gave this excursion to my husband and I as a honeymoon gift and we had a great time! The boat was not too packed so we had room to move around and the snorkel site was equally exclusive giving us all space and time to explore the reef. The staff were very helpful and attentive, even getting my husband a pair of prescription goggles.

Fantastic time. Weather perfect, Boat and crew fantastic. Eager to please. 1st snorkel stop just a short 45 minute ride across the channel. Good visibility, but a bit short of fish. Certainly not the crews fault. 2nd site much much better lots of activity below the surface including plenty of Turtles and even a friendly pack of Spinners! Food was delicious and healthy. Drinks were refreshing and plentiful. Even managed a bit of a sail considering such light winds! A+

I would recommend the island of Maui to everyone, It’s a gorgeous beautiful island. Th people are so kind and treat you like family. There’s is something for everyone from snorkeling, to going to the Aquarium, zip lining, horseback riding, Sunset Dinner cruise, taking the Road to Hana and so much more! You will not want to leave.

What a memorable experience. Everything was just great. The food, beverage and service was exceptional. The hour ride out to Molakini and back was one of the best parts of the day also. But snorkeling amongst the beautiful coral and fish was the highlight of our trip.

This was a wonderful experience. Fun loving and fun giving crew that showed their enthusiasm and professional from start to finish. Everything was explained to the novice snorkeler with ease and directness. And, we saw lots of fish in this gorgeous cove. Go if you can, you’ll love it!

Such a cool trip, got to see lots of wild life and swim with sea turtles. The food was good and the crew was awesome and kept the drinks flowing when they opened up the bar. We had a blast, definitely recommend these guys!

We had a wonderful time out on the water with Captain Chase, AJ, and Ollie. They were a very experienced, friendly, and fun crew. The breakfast was simple but yummy and the lunch was fantastic. Would definitely recommend, one of the highlights of our trip.

We were referred by a friend who takes her family on Trilogy every year. So glad we went with her recommendation. The crew was great and very friendly. Very nice catamaran with plenty of seating and shade on board. We had our own snorkeling gear but they had plenty on board for everyone. The snorkeling experience by Lanai was beautiful. Very grateful that the Trilogy crew facilitated such a memorable experience.

We set sail on the Alihilani on a beautiful morning! The staff greeted us with a yummy continental breakfast. After reaching our snorkeling destination, we were given our equipment and important information we needed for a safe experience. A staff member came out into the water and kept a “lookout” while sitting on a surfboard. This gave us a good feeling of security. What fantastic colorful fish we saw among the beautiful coral and blue sand! After snorkeling we were treated to a delicious lunch of chicken, fried rice and vegetables! Yum! The open bar was a fun perk too!! Captain Kevin and his crew gave my husband and I a wonderful day!

It was the BEST!! Our daughter in law had never been here before and the snorkel trip was the best part of the trip actually for all of us. my husband and I have been on many but this boat was so easy to get in and out of the ocean. captain Kevin, Dustin, and Jess were awesome!! So helpful!’ the boat was soooo clean, the food was delicious! Bloody Mary’s excellent!’ the whole experience was over the top!! We will recommend them and go again next year!’

Excellent arrangements. Very nice, large, and clean boat. I was pleased that they were able to actually sail some of the way on the return. That’s sort of rare in my experience with these trips on Maui.

Loved all of it! 1st time snorkeling and they picked a perfect spot. Crew were fun and engaging, food was good and weather was perfect! Enjoyed lounging in the net on the front of the catamaran on our way back to shore. We want to go again. Shaun and Laura

Outstanding from start to finish. Sailing to Lanai was beautiful and fun. As we travelled around Lanai to our snorkeling spot, Captain Chase took us into a whole bunch of Spinner Dolphins. They raced around the bow of the catamaran and leaped out of the water in a spectacular show. Snorkeling was fun and food throughout the day was delicious……..yum ! So good ! Captain Chase, Ollie, and Bryce were always checking in on us making sure our glass or plate was full and asking if there was anything else we needed !! This tour supports Lahaina’s return to being an active port and the crew is very supportive and appreciative of being able to be a part of this return.

We saw an entire family of dolphins which was unexpected and super cool! The staff at Sail Maui was friendly and knowledgeable - the captain was funny, if you enjoy a dry sense of humor and no nonsense captaining you'll love him. The water was a bit choppy because we visited while Hurricane Fausto was doing its thing so if you have motion sickness, take Dramamine. The breakfast spread was great, fresh pineapple, oranges, croissants, and gluten free banana muffins. Lunch was delicious and my family said the chicken and rice was well above what they expected being in the middle of the ocean. At the end of the tour, they put the chocolate chip cookies in the sun to warm them up - a touch of hospitality I don't think anyone was expecting - my girls thought they were just pulled from the oven. We were a little disappointed with snorkeling, so much time was spent getting near Lanai to only spend an hour in the water with no other stops around the island wasn't what we were hoping for - not sure if this is the normal pace/number of stops or if the hurricane impacted the ability to stop other places but it was less about snorkeling and more about sailing. We've done other tours that focused on time in the water and not as much time going to the location, that are better for snorkeling. The ratings are given based on the overall luxury experience, food & beverage, and staff and I'd recommend this as an excellent tour for those traveling with groups of friends or as a couple.

Wonderful day! My toddler and teenager LOVED it! The catamaran was a great experience and the nets on the front to lay down in were so relaxing! The snorkeling was great and seeing Lana’i was very unique experience. Crew was so friendly!

Marc was excellent tour guide! The sea turtles were everywhere!! We loved the clear kayak and amount of time we had to snorkel. Paddle out was beautiful, 10/10!

First, the boat is beautifully kept. Captain took us north into the wind line and sailed toward Lanai (what an unexpected treat). Crew was very attentive to my small children on board. One of the highlights was kids snorkeling at Manele Bay and jumping off the side of the catamaran. The south side of lanai is so beautiful, rugged, and raw. Bar was open on the way back and with the playlist it really set the ambiance. Most importantly we went out on August 8th which is the anniversary of Lahaina’s wildfires and the crew did an amazing job with a poem in the beginning of the trip and a scatter of a few flower peddles for those who lost loved ones in the fires. Nice touch Sail Maui

The trip was done so well! The food was delish, the boat was beautiful, the views were breathtaking, the crew was fun and knowledgeable, and the snorkling was fantastic! It was exactly how I wanted to spend my birthday.

Amazing experience. Crew was awesome. They were attentive and always available and very knowledgeable. The captain was great. The snorkeling was so beautiful. So many schools of fish and even a little shark. Wouldn't hesitate to go again. Love the fact that they leave from Lahaina. So special to be able to be back there again.

This is a great trip, highly recommend. The Captain and crew were extremely professional and knowledgeable about everything. They honored Lahaina and its residents, both before and after the trip and safety was paramount. We didn't go to Lanai as the ocean wasn't cooperating and the visibility was poor. So we went north to Namalu Bay outside of Kapalua to snorkle. On the way we saw spinning dolphins, while on the way back we saw a whale shark! The food was very good. Once we were all back in the boat, the drinks began to flow.

Loved it. Crew was awesome and so accommodating. We were only able to snorkel in one spot on Lanai I think due to safety concerns but that’s okay because we set sail and had the perfect boat day just chilling on the nets. I appreciate the crew for being so educated and making the right choice for us. Had the best time!!

What a really special trip sailing to Lunai'i and snorkeling with this company and crew!! 100% delighted and happy. The crew was so warm and attentive to everyone's every need or desire, the catamaran spotless and fresh, and the breakfast and lunch delectable! A small group makes for a more personable experience without the crowds. The captain gave clear instructions and tips about the lay of the boat, the safety and safe snorkeling. Our snorkeling location was exquisite...no other tour boats, crystal clear waters and lots of colorful fish and eagle rays. We spotted some "dolphins" alongside our boat on the way back to Maui. I would highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful day for a snorkel cruise. Started off with a nice breakfast and then a relaxing ride to our snorkeling spot. Shark fin cove was amazing. The reef and marine life we saw was beautiful. Lunch was delicious as were the extra big cookies at the end! Bar service was top notch as was the crew. 5⭐️all the way! Will def book with them again on our next trip back to Maui.

The crew (Chase, AJ and team) did an excellent job for us. Beautiful yacht and the food and drinks were excellent. They are working to build back Lahaina with respect for their common recent losses and a look towards the future. An awesome team!

I have skin and scuba dived all my life since my teens. As I enter my senior years I find myself handicapped but still wanting to make one last dive. The captain and safety divers were very professional and safety conscious. A special shout out to safety Diver Brackston who was an excellent wingman. Thanks for a beautiful dive and great time. Sailing with this crew was like sailing with life long friends. From our first interaction in the parking lot where we learned about their commitment to rebuilding Lahaina to the safe and friendly care on the ship, I felt in good hands the entire time. We laughed with them, learned from them, and swam in the open ocean under their watchful care. I will be sailing with them again and recommend them over all the other sailing groups in Maui!

We had an incredible experience. The crew was supportive but let us do our own thing. They gave us a lot of time to snorkel and showed us two places to check out. They took pictures of our whole group in the water and made sure we had a great experience. There was a pod of dolphins and they let us follow them for a bit. They shared information about the fish, animals, and island. Overall an incredible experience. 10/10 will book again!

If you're looking for the absolute best snorkeling excursion in Maui, Sail Maui (Paragon) is it! From the moment we stepped aboard, we knew we were in great hands. The all women crew was beyond impressive. They were confident, knowledgeable, welcoming, and so much fun. Captain Chloe was absolutely phenomenal and made everyone feel safe, comfortable, and excited for the adventure ahead. Everything about the day exceeded our expectations. The snorkeling was incredible, the food was fresh and delicious, and the entire crew was so authentic and genuinely kind. You could tell they truly love what they do, and it made such a difference in the experience. We were lucky enough to spend the Fourth of July with them, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire Maui trip. Beautiful water, amazing people, great food, lots of laughs, and memories we'll be talking about for years. Thank you to Captain Chloe and the entire Sail Maui (Paragon) crew for giving us such an unforgettable day. We can't wait to come back and sail with you again. Mahalo! 🌺

Super big swell and surf while we were on Maui, so snorkeling was tricky! They took us to the very end of Lanai, and we saw so many fish. It was a way better snorkeling adventure than Molokini Crater and Turtle Town. It was beautiful. They took a bad visibility situation and made it work. Staff was phenomenal!!

The experience was great. Every staff member on the boat was great. We didn't end up going to Lanai due to south swells in Lanai and mirky water snorkeling experience in prior days. The food onboard was awesome, and they kept the drinks flowing. The snorkeling was great. They provided the equipment and the guidance. I would highly recommend and look forward to a sunset cruise in the future.

Being out on a sailboat on a beautiful day in Maui is probably the single best thing you can do on the island. It was easily the favorite activity/event for everyone in my family. Having the opportunity to relax in the sun on deck, swim and snorkel… that’s what a coastal or island trip is supposed to be about. Captain Chloe and mates, Jess, and Jen gave us a great ride, and took us to a great snorkeling location, and then they fed us. There were a lot of large catamarans on the water the day we went. Most of these had twenty or more guests, on deck. The Sail Maui boat while still large was a little smaller, and we had only the five with my family plus another couple. While we still had lots of space on the boat, we all felt very well taken care of. Nothing is cheap or inexpensive on Hawaii, but the price we paid seemed very reasonable for experience. We did the morning 10 – 2 trip. They gave breakfast and lunch, which we were unaware was part of the package until we were on the boat, and after sailing a little bit, moored near a collapsed pier that has become a thriving reef. Lots of sea turtles, parrot fish, angel fish, a few very small reef sharks, and even though the spot is very popular with scuba divers and snorkelers alike there was lots of space. Fins, snorkels and masks were provided, but you do need to bring your own towels. We liked it so much my wife and I tried to do it again the next day, but unfortunately they were booked up and also do not do same day bookings. Highly recommended.

Great 1/2 day charter. Ollie had all of the fun facts, Brice was our safety lifeguard and swim gear guru, and James made a nice cocktail. Captain held down the ship. Smooth sailing out, and adventurous ride back. Highly recommend this clean well run boat.
