Kona Coffee Farm Tour

Our guide was delightful - experienced on the farm, knowledgeable and good-humored. We learned and observed a lot through his hands-on approach.

My husband and I had the most wonderful tour of this beautiful coffee farm by Ben. He was so knowledgeable, well-informed, friendly, and funny. We loved every moment of it. what a magnificent location too. Coffee was delicious and all of the staff were so friendly.

Our tour guide Rick was very knowledgeable about the farm and gave us a whole bunch extra interesting information! We really enjoyed this tour! My husband isn’t a coffee fan and still enjoyed it.

We had a fantastic tour with Reese. She was very knowledgable and gave plenty of time for questions. The quality of the farm and coffee was excellent!

The chore was great. Ben was a super Tour guide very informative, funny and attentive to our group would recommend.

The gentleman who gave us the tour seemed very uninterested as he told us that the next day was his last at the farm. Expected a lot more.

Oir guide Rick was so knowledgeable. Make sure you have walking shoes. Roads are narrow but worth the trip. We drove from Hilo so 1hr 45 minute drive.

Good tour informative friendly tour guide. A little challenging to get to up mountain road. Great place! Great coffee! The only issue was my wife has mobility problems and could not do the tour. I should have found that out beforehand.

Excellent and highly recommended! What an excellent value and fantastic tour. Our tour guide was a gentleman who has been working that farm for many years. He gave us a personal tour (there were 4 of us) and explained all about coffee growing, harvesting, drying and roasting. He began by showing us the real coffee trees and how to determine the best ripe berries for picking. He was able to show us the equipment used for each stage and we got to "rake" the beans that were drying. He answered all of our questions with patience (we had many). He was friendly and his knowledge and expertise was really evident. At the end we were able to taste 3 of their coffees. This is the type of tour that makes me really appreciate the product and I felt really good about purchasing from them.

Bryce was an amazing guide and definitely helped make this tour fun and memorable! The grounds are beautiful and all of the staff were very welcoming. There were plenty of coffee samples upon arrival as well as some chocolate samples. We enjoyed learning about Kona coffee and would recommend this tour to others!

It’s a little out of the way but totally worth it. The tour guide was very informative and fun . Everyone I met there were super nice and friendly. Definitely recommend!!

We were greeted with a plethora of samples. I was impressed with how knowledgeable our tour guide was about not only coffee but the environment of the Big Island in which it was grown. And he knows how to take great photos! You must try the cocoa tea!

It was such a cute and fun experience. Bryce was our tour guide. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He took us around the farm and gave us plenty of information to take home with us. The coffee sampling was at your own leisure which was nice. We also got a sample of some delicious tea at the end of the tour. It is a nice location with a beautiful view. Would recommend.

Booked this on our last day on the Big Island and it was a great end to our vacation. The coffee samples were great to try (we loved the fire roasted) !! And we learned a lot about the process from starting a tree, all the way to the un-roasted bean. (would have also liked to hear about the roasting process). Everyone was there was friendly and our guide was very knowledgable, and entertaining. So why not a 5 ? We arrived about 30 minutes before the start time, and when chatting with one the employees, he just happened to mention our group was above average, at 13 people (no problem yet). But when our tour started ( a bit late), there were 25 people. I can only guess there were some people that showed without a reservation, and they were added on at the last minute. 25 was just too many. I could see our tour guide working hard to keep everyone together, and making sure everyone got to see the various things (kudos to him !!), but it was a hard task. As with any group there were stragglers, and people who weren't listening to his instructions...which for an anxious person like me, caused extra anxiety. They should have just had these people without a reservation wait for the next start time.

For an authentic learning experience of what goes into making coffee this was amazing! Appreciated the welcome by Autumn as we came into the farm. Our tour guide Chase was very informative and gave us a great insight on the process and how the coffee beans were produced. Overall enjoyable!!

It was a wonderful experience. We learned so much about coffee especially Kona and all the varieties and the process that goes into making the perfect coffee. It was lovely to have the free sampling as well as the lovely lanai to sit while drinking our coffee and tea. People were so lovely. Just a warning, you may want to wear bug spray depending on when you go.

We had a great experience at Heavenly Hawaiian Kona Coffee Farm and would definitely recommend stopping here while visiting the Big Island! We actually didn’t have a reservation and decided to just stop by. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming. They were happy to accommodate us and added us to the very next tour that day, which we really appreciated. The tour itself was both fun and informative. We learned about the entire process of growing, harvesting, and producing 100% Kona coffee, and it was fascinating to see firsthand what goes into making one of Hawaii’s most famous products. The beautiful setting and views from the farm made the experience even better. Everyone we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. Of course, getting to sample some delicious Kona coffee was a pretty nice bonus too! ☕🌺 Between the warm Hawaiian hospitality, beautiful surroundings, great coffee☕️, and informative tour, this was a wonderful stop during our time on the Big Island. The cats were cool too. 🐈‍⬛🐈

We had an amazing trip to the Island of Hawai’i, but I think this was my favorite activity. First, the property is gorgeous. The tours are so well organized - you check in with the welcome desk then immediately get to sample some delicious chocolates and coffee. The tour was just the right length to learn a ton of interesting information without getting tired or overwhelmed. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable, and so kind with my kids who also enjoyed the tour. We got to see not only coffee growing but a ton of other plants and crops on their farm. I highly recommend this amazing experience.

Great experience! The tour started with a little intro and unlimited coffee samples. The tour was very informative, Rick was very passionate and knowledgeable.

We had a great experience on the coffee tour. Higgs was a wonderful tour guide, so knowledgeable and fun. He made learning about the coffee process super interesting. We were treated to different chocolate coffee balls at the start of our tour and a refreshing tea at the end. We also were able to have unlimited coffee tastings, which were delicious. You’ll love the whole experience. Worth the price!

Rick was a great guide! The tour is designed around a small area of the property so very easy to navigate. The coffee samples are great and amazing views. They have a gift shop and glad no one is pushing for you to buy anything. Nonetheless, we bought some 100% Kona Coffee and are enjoying it at home!

And our tour guide was incredible—so knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly someone who genuinely loves what he does. You can feel that aloha when someone truly loves their work. Great couple of hours. We were walk ins so wasn’t an immediate tour but we paid for the next tour an hour later. It was a lovely hour drinking 5 taster Kona coffees, relaxing and taking in the view. The tour was really interesting and our guide Rick was very knowledgeable. Tour came with a mac nut chocolates and a tea cooler at the end of the tour where you could sample yet more free coffee. Bonus was meeting the farm cats

We had a great time visiting the coffee farm. The unlimited free samples were great and we learned a lot. The setting of the farm is just gorgeous.

Tour was great! Started with a coffee tasting before we learned about the coffee process. Overall a great time, our guide was as vary knowledgeable, plus the beautiful views made the tour even better!

That was a lot of fun, our knowledgeable tour guide was very entertaining. Loved the coffee samples and seeing the prices of how it was created.

Don’t let the road or signs to this quaint coffee farm fool you. Off the main road you will travel through what looks like a jungle only to come to a beautiful coffee farm. Coffee was some of the best we had. Bought lots of coffee beans to bring back home. A great laid back place to visit surrounded by coffee trees all around .

Gorgeous location up on the hillside in Kona. So interesting leaning about the coffee growing process that makes pure Kona coffee. The staff were informative and friendly. Coffee tasting is delicious and they have a great selection of coffee and tea drinks in the on-site café. Gift shop has a lot of gifts by local artists in addition to the coffee.

My family and I went here for the farm tour, and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide was very good. He had a ton of info about the process from tree to cup. I learned a lot and really liked all of the samples. We did a lot of farm tours while we were on the big island and we all decided that this was the best one. I would definitely recommend!

The property is beautiful, love that you get to sample coffee and get delicious chocolates. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee shop there had a good selection of drinks and the view to sit down and enjoy your coffee was incredible. This tour was worth the $33. Next time I would like to take the brew class they offer. Eat first if you are hungry, not many food options. You will be doing a little bit of walking so wear comfortable shoes.

One of the highlights of vacation! The guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and welcoming. We learned about more than coffee, though the coffee details he shared were incredibly interesting. All the information made it clear why you pay a premium for 100% Kona coffee. And after tasting the coffee, it is 100% worth it. We're so happy we decided to take this tour!

Rick the guide was very informative and passionate about not just the farm but about coffee growing in general. We learned a lot. The tour was very worth it. We even had a cat tour guide following us the entire time.
