Crew was great…good day at sea.

The snorkeling trip with Captain Dave, G, and Quin was wonderful! Really friendly guys. We enjoyed talking with G and finding out things about Hawaii that we did not know since he is a native of the west side of Oahu. Quin was awesome at leading us snorkeling and even led us to a school of dolphins who swam right by us. Captain Dave did a great job, as well. The boxed lunch (made locally) was good. We’ve been on a lot of snorkeling trips all over Hawaii and the Caribbean. Best lunch, hands down. I definitely recommend Hawaii Nautical’s snorkeling trip out of Ko’Olina Marina.

Had an amazing experience snorkeling and sailing out by West Oahu!! We were guaranteed to see dolphins and we saw them! The crew was effervescent and friendly - gave great recs, took pictures, and routinely asking if anyone needed anything. Quin, Sophia, and Macarah were outstanding!

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Hawaii Nautical. Our crew- Quin, Keoni and Sophia were knowledgeable, professional, courteous and also really fun and friendly. They were great at taking care of all of us. We were very lucky to have a perfect day, see lots of sea life and have a nice small group. We saw even saw pygmy killer whales which are very rare. Highly recommend .

This was such a fun and welcoming experience! The boat was amazing with a lot of room to move around. We saw dolphins within the first 20 minutes of the trip. We also do a few turtles and eagle rays. The crew let us jump off the boat and swim for a while as well. The drinks were amazing as well!! 100% will be doing this again!!!

Amazing sail ride with beautiful views & captain is very attentive to the guests! Highly recommend & will be referring family to this experience when they travel to Oahu.

This is a great team. They make the entire experience a learning one and you have a good time doing it.

It was amazing from pickup at the hotel to the last drop off back at the hotel. The driver was so nice, pleasant and really made us feel welcomed! The boat was on a dock (instead of loading from a beach) was so helpful and made it more assessable. The boat crew were friendly, and showed they were passionate about taking us on a trip. They were funny, offered to take pictures and helped everyone on board and in the water. We saw so many dolphins!! Very pleasant and enjoyable. Highly recommend it! Thank you!!

This was an excellent tour! We saw two different species and pod of dolphins right away! One group was called Spinners. Then we saw a school of Pigmy Killer whales right in front of the boat! Once we were out snorkeling there were Green Turtles and many different variety of fish. The diver brought up a starfish that we were able to take pictures with. The tour provided drinks and lunch as well! Well worth the money! This was the most inexpensive tour and we got the most for our money! Thank you Hawaii Nautical!!

Best thing we did on our trip! We payed for a dolphin cruise and not only did we see Dolphins we saw a whole bunch of turtles on our snorkel and caught fish and ate fresh tuna on the way back to the harbor! Thanks to the crew, Dave, Quin and G. These guys are all legends. Mahalo.

Wonderful way to spend a morning doing something very memorable. For sure, the crew found us dozens of spinner dolphins We were surrounded by their delightful frolicking. No disappointment there and by far the most I've seen. Gorgeous views of the cost line with this epic mountainscap playing with the clouds. The snorkeling was nice even if the current made it cloudy. We still saw a bebe turtle and lots of fish. Nice to be out in the water and boat for a good half hour or more. The boat sales smooth and clean with both inside and outside options for seating. I was really happy to have the shuttle bus from Honolulu to myself as the driver was a local born and raised on the west side of the island. He was full of recommendations and stories. Wonderful time.

The Dolphin Watching canceled on us twice. Once for mechanical issues and once for not enough passengers.

They canceled my dolphin tour twice because of which we had to re organize our trip. They said there was a mechanical failure in the boat for 2 days. I don’t understand how such a big company that has great reviews could not resolve a mechanical failure for 2 days. I booked because of good reviews but only got disappointment. There are many other companies that can provide the same service. This one is not reliable.

Excellent crew and driver who picked us up in Waikiki. We saw whales, dolphins, sea turtles. Lunch was provided as well.

I’m in Hawaii with friends and we wanted a guided snorkel tour to ease into snorkeling for two friends that had never been before. This tour was amazing we saw lots of Spinner and Pan Tropical dolphins as well as turtles. The guides were knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to snorkel in a spot where we found a ray, an octopus and sea urchin. The lunch was fine it was adequate and nice to have a snack after snorkeling. There is a bar on board so it was fun to have some drinks on the boat. I would highly recommend this tour. We are here in the beginning of the off season so it was not crowded. Even though the max capacity is 88 people on the boat we only had about 20. It was worth the price and you are given 45 minutes to snorkel which goes by quickly when you see lots of fish, wildlife and coral.

What a beautiful experience. We saw two different type of dolphins that came right up to the boat. The crew was top notch.

This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The crew were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do—it made the whole trip even more enjoyable. The drinks were top-notch, and the wildlife we encountered was unforgettable! We saw a tiger shark, spinner dolphins, sea turtles, an octopus, and tons of vibrant fish. Just a heads-up: don’t forget to bring (and reapply!) your sunscreen—trust me on that one. Highly recommend this tour!

We were on a large and very nice catamaran and it was a great way to see the scenic west coast of Oahu. Captain Dave and his crew were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we saw plenty of dolphins on our way out to the snorkel spot. The snorkeling was great too as the crew led us to different areas to make sure we saw plenty of different species of fish and a few sea turtles. Highly recommend!

Great sailing, dolphin watching and snorkeling experience. Kids ranging from 8-14 all loved it. Crew was the same both times - Quin, Keoni, Diane - Capt Dave on our first sail and with Capt Jesse the second time. The snorkeling was great- saw so many fish, urchins, sea turtles and even an octopus that the crew spotted. Also watch for flying fish - so cool to see them flying over the water as we sailed by!

No breakfast, but fun trip just got sea sick. In the description it said there would be breakfast with fruit and a biscuit but there was none, couldn’t wear shoes so deck was hot, fun trip though

Snorkeling was fun but lacked any real substance. We saw more fish and swam/snorkled with dolphins during a visit on our own at North Shore.

Nice guys from the boat but the description of the experience was quiet tricky. We was expecting to do snorkeling with the dolphins but it was not possible to go in the water. When the catamaran stopped in another area we was doing snorkeling but just few normal fishes and no turtles. All this is very expensive. We absolutely suggest to do reservation with oder companies!

Easy dock location to meet. Great experience for every level. Snorkeling equipment provided. Crew (captain Jesse, G, and Q) was fantastic. Breakfast and lunch were provided plus two drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol). Best of all the experience of watching so many dolphins danced around your boat! Since I am not an experienced snorkeler, therefore I did not venture out far from the boat so I did not see any dolphins nor turtles while snorkeling but still it was beautiful to look at the sea bed! Highly recommend it!

It was a great experience with the local crewmen! They talked about not just the island but spoke about personal connections with the people on board! We seen dolphins and sea turtle (even if we had to be 8ft from them!) lots of fish! We had adults and children in our group and everyone had a blast!

We had a wonderful time! The crew was the Best!! The food was tasty! We were able to see some dolphins, whales, turtles and many, many fish.

Awesome boat ride. Pulled out of the pier and saw spinner dolphins within 5 mins also was blessed to see spotted dolphins later on the trip. Snorkeling was amazing and we were able to see 2 sea turtles. Crew was awesome and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you!

Had an awesome experience with Captain Jessie and team. We saw humpback whales dolphins, a seal in addition to the turtles and the fish during snorkeling. After we got done snorkeling, they let us use the boat as a diving board for a half an hour. It was awesome.

Awesomely family-friendly crew and activity. Warm and personable sailors, patient with kids (3 and 9). Good equipment. Saw lots of dolphins, some sea turtles and many fish. Steady ride out and back. Both light (but great) breakfast and very good wraps for lunch; drink choices for all. Highly recommend!

It was wonderful, the crew, the driver , the experience was peaceful, only 10 of us on the boat so it seemed private. The boat ride of the coastline was incredible. We saw dolphins turtles, and blow and tails of whales in the distance.

It was fantastic. Crew was wonderful. The only thing was the snorkeling was only 45 minutes out of the 3 hours but I was fine with that because I got sea sick 🤣 but my kids wanted more time.

We saw tons of dolphins, some that actually were riding in the front of the boat. One was a mama with her baby. The crew was incredible! Nick, Caden and Ian. The turkey wraps for lunch were fresh and quite tasty! Breakfast consisted of grapes, strawberries, a slice of pineapple and a wonderful biscuit slathered with a local jelly/jam that was awesome.

The trip guaranteed dolphins, no dolphins were seen. It was supposed to be a snorkeling trip, barely snorkeled for 20 minutes and water was so murky that nothing could be seen underwater. Very disappointed.

We saw dolphins, a whale. And several sea turtles. The crew and captain were all knowledgeable and happy to share stories about island life and culture.

The catamaran was spectacular - clean, well maintained, and large enough to accommodate 40 passengers easily. Major highlights included spinner dolphins, many turtles, a large stingray, and colorful fishes in super clear water. One of the staff, Matt, had a lot of aloha and was very sweet. He was super helpful and attentive. The captain was jolly and talked really fast. We just had a slight issue with one of the staff (donʻt remember his name but he was the most stout looking) - we sensed that he was prejudiced against Asians. It was subtle but made an impression nonetheless. We would make one recommendation - the crew to provide more educational information about the region, the amazing wildlife, and connect the importance of the place/wildlife with Native Hawaiian culture.

This catamaran excursion was awesome! Swimming with turtles was so fun and we were lucky to spot dolphins and even whales. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better. The location was easy to find and accessible, making the trip smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for families or friends!

Ian, Caden and Bronson were wonderful! The only bummer was an issue with our breakfast and lunch but they made up for it! Would totally do it again, as it was all of our favorite adventure of the trip! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It was nice to see dolphins in the wild, swimming close to the boat. The food was ok. This kind of activity cannot guarantee success regarding seeing animals in the wild, so I wasn't too disappointed. I think there should be a knowledgeable, upbeat person able to lead the group, and who can show a little humor and try to unite the attendees in some way. They could have some knowledge of the animals and share these things with the group. Otherwise, I was glad to see the dolphins swimming by the boat.

The sail from start to finish was just so fun and well-done. Laid back but safety-conscious crew, drinks-a-plenty, and we saw spinner dolphins, a couple of sea turtles, and even an octopus. Definitely go with these guys if you’re thinking about a snorkel sail.

We saw spinner and bottle neck dolphins and the crew was entertaining and very knowledgeable. Snorkeling was a lot of fun. The experience and views were beautiful.

Very friendly and helpful crew! They made sure we felt welcome and saw lots of ocean life. They also took the time to educate and answer all questions. Would book again!

All I will say is the crew made this one of the best Trips we’ve ever taken. Ian & I think it was mark were so helpful and extremely knowledgeable.

It was our last day on the island and we decided to spend the morning on a dolphin watch and turtle snorkel. Right out of the bay we saw eagle rays and within the first 10 minutes we were boating close to a pod of 15-20 spinner dolphins. The juvenile dolphins were having fun and jumping out of the water. We also got lucky and were able to see a vessel that traveled all around the world with nothing but the stars to guide them. They said it was a rare occurance for it to be parked there so we took advantage and got an upclose look at it all while hearing the story behind it. After that, we took a great little cruise just enjoying the west side of the island. We were served breakfast, lunch, and drinks along the way and all very good. The staff was great and very attentive to everything we needed. Toward the end of the trip we got in the water and snorkeled for a bit with a sea turtle and all kinds of fish. Overall, this was an extremely relaxing and enjoyable morning. What a way to end our week long trip!

The boat itself was awesome. The crew (Anthony, Ian, and Matt) were so genuine and fun. We traveled with two girls (11 and 12) and they made both the adults and kids feel comfortable immediately. We saw tons of dolphins but just one turtle. Snorkeling was great and the whole adventure was so much fun for our family!
