The best tour whale watch kayak with Gabile on 13th. And my name is korawan. GPS male maker 14 on map with Uber map. Everything is wonderful and amazing day and see you again. Next time I will come back for this tour again.mahalo
Great whale watching experience! Jason, Gabriel and Nicholas are super! Being out in the ocean, you feel like you are one with the whales. No rush, paddle about and let them find you. We saw at least 2 mother/calf pairs and a few escorts. Breaching and tail slapping. And a turtle swam by just to say "Don't forget about me!" And a couple of flying fish and a jumping tuna livened up the morning. Maybe we were the ones on display to all these local residents! "Hey guys, look at the funny things on plastic logs with sticks in their hands that keep coming out in the water!"
Great kayak and snorkel excursion! We learned a lot about the reef, the surrounding islands and the sea life. Gabriel and his mom were wonderful guides. The clear bottom kayaks were cool. The snorkeling was our favorite part. Gabriel didn’t rush us, always made sure everyone was doing well. He dove under to find us some cool creatures to hold and went out of his way to dive down and video a turtle for us! He stayed out with us for as long as we wanted. It was great!
We had such a wonderful time Kayak whale watching. Gabriel was a wonderful guide. We were able to see a large male turtle surface right next to our Kayak and we had multiple whale sightings. This was one of our favorite memories from our trip. Gabriel's Ohana is a small local business that is staffed by family who are so friendly and knowledgeable. If you like the peacefulness of kayaking in a serene environment, I highly recommend this tour.
We loved every minute of the experience. The Kayaking was amazing and we saw turtles and whales swim around d and with us. My only suggestion, grab a life jacket on the way out snorkeling.
There is exemplary service…and then there is the kind of service Jason, Gabriel, Nick and Sabrina will provide you. There is a bit of a story behind our time spent with these fine folks that I won’t go into here. I’ll let them tell you the story if questioned about it. What I will say is that you will come to see their passion for the Hawaiian ecosystem and desire to see that each and every person receives a truly exceptional and memorable experience. Here, you understand the full meaning of “Ohana” We are blessed to have had the opportunity to meet these wonderful people and cannot recommend their services enough. We will most certainly come back and visit with them again and are certain you will feel the same way. Aloha!
Loved going out with Gabriel. He knew exactly where to look for whales and gave us an experience of a lifetime! Much better experience than on a big boat.
This tour is a great way to start your Maui experience. We started by learning to use reef safe suntan lotion provided by our guides. Jason explained the significant improvement this one change has made to the coral in just a few years! Jason and Gabriel also provided us with life jackets and then helped us launch their clear bottom kayaks. I was able to get great underwater pictures of the coral through my clear bottom kayak! As we paddled away from the beach, Gabriel spent as much time as we wanted talking about the geology, plants, fish and animals around us as well as the island's history. When we were ready, our guides helped us out of our kayak and into our snorkeling gear on and then assisted us into the water again. Gabriel brought up urchins and a sea cucumber for us to touch. He pointed out octopus and sea turtles. He identified the fish as they swam below us. Gabriel explained each of their habitats. He helped snorkelers learn to dive deep. Jason and Gabriel were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guides. We highly recommend this tour to enhance your Maui experience.
Absolutely great time with the family led by Jason and Gabriel. Very laid back kind and knowledgeable. If you enjoy not be held to a strict time schedule and having freedom to explore and learn, this is the right place.
My family had such a great time! Everyone felt like they got something from it from the 6 year old to the 65 year old. It was educational and a great experience. We saw almost everything the reef had to offer. It was fun way more than we expected. The guide was the friendliest person I met on the island.
This was the perfect kayak and snorkel tour. Absolutely amazing for beginners! Jason was extremely knowledgeable about marine life and the islands. Gabriel and Nicholas were extremely helpful and it was a wonderful day. We all felt very safe and I would highly recommend them to anyone who will listen. My sister in law and daughter snorkeled with Jason and he dove deeper to stir up some marine life and teach them about it. They were able to hold a few even. My daughter was also able to see some turtles right in front of her. We also seen whales breach during our kayak adventure!! Sooooo fun and will do it again when I return! Aloha!!!!
Just got back from an amazing experience. Had such a wonderful time with our guide Gabriel. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He went above and beyond in every which way. Kayaking was a little challenging but extremely worth it when getting to be up close with the whales. Would definitely recommend and go again
Gorgeous trip snorkeling and kayaking. We had a blast and saw so much fish, some turtles and a probable eel. Jason, Gabriel and Nicholas were knowledgeable, fun and efficient. We had a great time!
We had an awesome time with Jason, Gabriel and Nicholas. They were very knowledgeable about the area, took us to some great reef locations and showed us some unique sea life. It was a beautiful trip!
My daughter and I were heading to a different company, but through a series of mishaps (aka God's plan) we accidentally went to Gabriel's Ohana. By the time things were sorted, we had missed our original tour. Last nice day before expected rain storms. Our last chance to do any kayak/snorkeling. Jason, the owner, had compassion, and was able to send us out with his son Gabriel for the 3-4 hour whale watch kayak tour. Our original plan was snorkeling but God had something better for us. We went way out but was very relaxing waiting for whales to pop up. Cloudy but warm weather was perfect. Gabriel was great to chat with (and the owner Jason taught us a lot about the island while waiting for tour). Whales came close, very cool, and then near the end they were right next to us...then right under us. Could see the fins as it was a family group of 3 whales with rare white fins. So amazing!! Thank you Jason and Gabriel for making my daughter's belated high school graduation trip such a blessing.!
Fabulous time with Gabriel’s Ohana. Friendly guided tour, we saw whales, turtles, and tons of fish. We’ll be back!!
Truly an amazing experience! Perfect activity for family, friends or both. (Jason) and his son Gabrielle were amazing tour guides! We had a private tour with this family run business and all I have to say is what an experience! This family run business will make you feel at ease and truly get a feel for the Hawaiian experience. They are very personable, chill and knowledgeable of the land and ocean and truly are there for you to have the best experience possible. We got to see some beautiful lands around the area during the kayaking and the snorkeling was even better! We saw many different sea life and the beautiful nature of the sea. You will become one with nature. We even swam/snorkeled with a sea turtle! If you are ever thinking of taking a trip to Maui, please check this tour guide/business out for kayaking and snorkeling. They will not let you down
My tour guide was Mia. She was such a sweet person and informed us of the history of the small lands around us. She helped me with my snorkel mask when I was having troubles with putting it on. They also had great service and had a plate of snacks for us ready to enjoy and suggested to even bring one on the kayak because I have issues with motion sickness, but that was never a problem that occurred during this trip, time flew by and I had a great time. I highly recommend this to people who aren’t experience in kayaking. Mia had shown me the brittle star fish that mainly resides in that particular area we went and I was even able to hold one! I hope in the future I get to book with them again.
From the beginning to end it was all picture perfect. Morning began with smiles, hugs and yummy breakfast. Taylor and Jason really made us feel like family. Kayaking was so much plus learning about the coral and history of Olouwalu was so cool. Make sure to book with Taylor 😀
