Kaanapali Beach Parasailing: Soar Above Maui’s Stunning Coastline

Easy access, great safety precautions, very knowledgeable operators. Got us up in the air smoothly and back down safely.

89 degrees everyday without air conditioning. We had to leave windows open to get wind to flow through. The window cells in master room were never cleaned out from all kinds of stuff. So are nights without air and listening to the Roasters all night because windows had to be open. And when there nights with the heavy wind it sounded like a tornado coming through the open window. Ice maker did not work. 10 steps to turn the tv on. The slider in the master when we open it fell off the track. Couldn't get internet.

Ummmm how do you spell FUN! Crew were friendly, helpful and very safe. We even saw a shark!! They took us from seated on the back of the boat to flying and back... I guess we could have asked to get wet, but they kept us completely drive. Highlight of the trip. Oh, and they made great recommendations for breakfast and lunch later that day.

It's very fun and scenic but it doesn't last very long. Kinda expensive for such a short ride. It was cool though

My daughter and I had a great time, they were very friendly. Except I never got my pictures, I emailed, called and tried to contact them through Viator. They finally emailed me back a link to see my pictures and when I entered my number it says no pictures were found. I emailed them again and no response. It’s been over a week. I really wish I had the pictures of this experience because it was amazing.

The entire crew was incredibly friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make everyone on board feel safe and comfortable before we took off.Floating 1,200 feet above the crystal-clear Pacific Ocean was pure magic. The ride was unbelievably smooth, peaceful, and offered breathtaking bird's-eye views of the stunning Ka’anapali coastline, Lanai, and Molokai. We loved that they gave us the option to get a quick, refreshing dip in the ocean at the end before a perfect dry landing right back onto the boat deck. If you are visiting Hawaii and looking for a safe, thrilling, and beautifully organized adventure, this is an absolute must-do!

The experience at the boat ride was excellent, except when we arrived in Lahaina it was a mall parking lot, so we called customer service if we were in the right place, but they treat us like we are stupid people the way the male customer service representative answered. I asked if we were on the right place since it was a mall. I asked where the place is, we are not from this area. he answered, " will you won't be parasailing in the mall". I answered him in a cold voice "we know, we are not stupid that is why we are asking" If I could just cancel my trip that day, I would. We came from a different State, they could had been nicer or more welcoming. but maybe because of my accent, he thinks he can make fun of us. It was not a great experience with the customer service people.

Everyone was amazing! I live in Wahikuli and always watched them go by and my partner came from Colorado and I finally had the opportunity to play tourist. It was so much fun, I can't wait to do it again.

There was 3 of us that went on the ride. It was $150 each. Per person. And the whole trip was about 30 minutes. We were only in the air for ~12 minutes. Would never go again at the price for only getting 12 minutes in the air.

Skillful, friendly staff who took us out. The environment was relaxed and about our experience. The view was beautiful and relaxing.

My family never did this excursion- it was cancelled by the parasailing co the day of due to high winds. I’m still waiting for my refund! Tried reaching out and auto response says someone will get back to me soon, and never has and it’s been 12 days thus far.

Our parasailing adventure was wonderful. The ride was smooth and very safe. The boat driver and attendant were exceptional and it was the best parasailing experience I’ve ever had.

The entire experience was marvelous. None of us had ever done parasailing before. We all felt safe, informed, and had the best time. The views were unlike any other. We could see the currents and saw dolphins! The staff were fun and professional. Just do it if you haven't!

I had ordered in advance and when I went they said that they couldn't do the time I ordered and they were canceling the order or they had to provide another day and time.

We were really looking forward to parasailing on our Maui vacation, but unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing experiences we've had. Our original reservation was canceled because the company said they don't schedule departures on the half hour. We spent nearly two hours getting everything sorted out and were rebooked for the following morning. They easily could have just moved us back a half hour and everything would have been fine. Instead they just canceled the reservation with zero notification. When we arrived for our new reservation on the next day, no one was there. The operation had already packed up and left for the day, and we received no phone call, text, or email letting us know our reservation had been canceled again. We ended up planning two separate vacation mornings around this activity and never got to go parasailing. Whether this was due to poor communication or operational issues, the complete lack of notice and disregard for customers' time was extremely frustrating. If you're planning a vacation in Maui with limited time, I'd recommend booking with another parasailing company that has a reputation for reliable communication and honoring reservations.

Fun experience, but $600 for four people to spend six minutes in the air was disappointing. (They advertise each flight is 6-9 minutes, but I figured that was the amount of time we’d spend 1200 feet up, not from when we left the boat to when we returned. Plus, since the guys are working for tips, I would have expected them to be generous with the amount of time in the air, not give us the bare minimum. (We purchased four flights, they paired us up into two doubles and each flight was only 6 minutes long.) And they weren’t even running late or needing to get back for another group, as we were their last clients of the day. Overall, fun but incredibly short and disappointing.

Viator scheduled the event as observer tickets only. We had to upgrade the tickets at the time of the event for an additional $120. What seemed like a good deal became an uncharted compared with purchasing through provider.

We had a blast and the guys were fun and experienced. They do this all day and everything was enjoyable. I was not nervous at all and it was so smooth and relaxing all the way up...so calm and peaceful. Smooth sailing and would do it again!

If you’re on the fence, do it! It was wonderful. Everyone from the first encounter to the guys on the boat were welcoming and encouraging. They took their time with each of us and cheered us along the way. Any fear or doubt that I had was immediately gone.

Look for the small, single yellow umbrella to check in and beware that another parasailing company may mistakenly think you’re with them. 1200 feet in the air is super peaceful. If you go with your family, take your own pictures…the onboard photos are more zoomed in, but not really much better than what you can capture on your own.

They called me 2 hours before our scheduled sail time and said they were running behind and wanted to push our time back 2 hours which would make us miss our departure time to get back to ship so they cancelled our reservation. We walked about 50 yards to the UFO parasailing umbrella and got to parasail with them which was great!

Crew was top notch. Unfortunately winds were outside of safety parameters and most of the boat wasn’t able to ride and so the activity was cut short. Greatly appreciate the crews attention to safety even at the expense of their own pocket books. Don’t let any negative review due to weather stop you from booking with this team. We will absolutely return.
