Viator misrepresents this tour. Viator doesn’t give options for activities once you get to the North Shore. Activities had to be purchased once there.

Cousin G is an amazing guide! This tour was a lot more than expected. Lots of knowledge from Cousin G, stories, facts and many jokes. Didn’t feel rushed on any of the stops. Nice group of 20 and for a solo traveller meant that it was easy to chat to everyone. Highly recommended!

Paul drove us on our Oahu tour to Byodo-In Temple, Waimea Falls, and Dole Plantation, and he made the whole day awesome. Super friendly, gave great tips at each stop, and even shared some cool Hawaiian history along the way, made the trip feel way more special than your typical bus tour. If you're booking this excursion, hope you get Paul as your driver. Highly recommend!

Super fun and easy way to get around the island and to check off some fun things without having to drive. We did snorkeling and kayaking for our two adventures and enjoyed both so much. Our kids are 9 and 11 and it was the perfect way to spend the day with them!

My husband and I decided to spontaneously go on a tour of O’ahu and we were not disappointed. From the beginning, our tour guide, Sam, was engaging and shared with us his deep well of knowledge on the island. He was professional and met the needs of all the guests in his care. The tour itself was organized and kept to the timelines as outlined in the itinerary. If we had time, we do another tour with them. Very impressed.

We had a great tour with Sam. Well worth the assist to tour the North Shore. Lots of information and great options as well. Kept us on pace, cove snorkeling was fantastic and we had time to ourselves as well.

These folks are operating a small business and work super hard at it. The first thing I noticed getting on the bus was how clean and modern it was. You'll get to see parts of the East and North shores that would be a hassle to drive to yourself. The time at each stop was the perfect duration. Great banter and insights from the driver. We hit a couple of snafus (no water at the falls due to drought) but nothing was a dealbreaker and we still had a fun and memorable day.

Such a great experience!!! My husband and I wanted to get out of the city of Waikiki but didn’t want to drive. This experience was perfect - we were able to snorkel on the North Shore in the morning and the kayak in the afternoon. Sam was amazing and our equipment was ready for us upon arrival and there’s a discount at the Surf Shop for this bus/tour company in particular for extras like fins, life jackets etc. We saw so many fish, turtles and Haleiwa was so fun to explore. Truly the highlight of our trip to Oahu.

Came on the Surf Bus with my husband, 10 year old, and 7 year old. We had a great time! Tour guide Sam was knowledgeable and kept us laughing. We got to snorkel at Shark’s Cove for 3 hours in the morning and in the afternoon we did some paddle boarding for 90 min in a different part of town. I really enjoyed this tour! Great way to see North Shore.

We had a great time with Cousin G! We didn’t want to rent a car while we were on O’ahu - this trip was a great way to see the North Shore area and have fun doing some activities while not worrying about driving (or parking - yikes) Highly recommend!

The driver, Cousin G, was well informed and great fun. There were many options for activities and different personal skill levels. Bus driver was stuck with horrible traffic returning us to Waikiki and he did a great job of getting the bus through the traffic created by Spam-fest with a wonderful sense of humor the entire time!

Uncle Kevin was a great driver and a very engaging,knowledgeable and funny person. The trip was one of the highlights of my vacation!!

Sam was the best tour guide we have ever had! Lots of info about the island, personal stories that didn’t feel like the scripted generic stuff of most tours, and he truly seemed to care that everyone had the best experience possible. I would recommend to everyone and do it again in a heartbeat! We got adventure, cultural history, lovely views, perfectly timed remarks and music to make the atmosphere comfortable and fun. Little details, like where the cleanest bathrooms are, and which food is overhyped and where to actually go. Really great tour overall!

Great tour guide, very knowledgeable about O'hau and Honolulu. We were given plenty of time to enjoy each activity and were given great tips we could use for the remainder of our trip. My 13 and 14 yr old enjoyed the activities as well, it was a day well spent.

10 out of 10 experience with Uncle Kevin, the best tour guide ever! He picked us up from our hotel and we had the best time learning all about Hawaii in general and loved all of our stops along the way! Loved that there were options for all ages, stages and abilities. We opted to do the active options (waterfall hike/swim, paddle boarding, etc), but others on the bus opted to shop and people watch. Will sign up for the Surf Bus next time we visit Oahu! Thank you Kevin for an incredible day with my mom and daughter seeing the North Shore and so much more!

Cousin G was a really cool dude and an excellent tour guide. He had a great sense of humor and knew everything there is to know about the North Shore and Hawaiin history. Not only am I glad I took this tour (which gives you plenty of time to do what you want to do), but plan to take it again with my wife in a year or two.

The surf bus was absolutely amazing and worth every single penny. Sam the bus driver and tour guide was simply amazing as well. We had many stops before the 2 predertimed stops. Sam made the transition into the activities very seamless, and gave us detailed information. Overall, a Saturday very well spent!

Great driving, beautiful views, funny jokes and sense of humor! The list goes on. Pricier than renting a car but absolutely worth it, no doubt. Very accommodating and understanding, patient, kind. Totally loved it:)

My wife and I had an amazing day of touring the North Shore of Oahu, which included swimming in Waimea Falls and body paddle boarding. Uncle Kevin was an incredible guide, so funny and personable! We had such an incredible time!!!! Truly an amazing experience!

This experience was a lot of fun. We got to see so much of the island in one day. Sam, who was our host, was incredibly informative on everything throughout the tour. He pointed out historic places on our drive, and told us unique facts about each place as we drove by. He also accommodated in the best way to everyone as we got out to the wonderful activities that were offered. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Oahu to take this tour.

The trip was fun. The stops at the macadamia farm was cool, plenty of samples. The fruit farm was delicious and fresh. The pipeline was cool, even with 6-8’ waves. Wish we could have seen larger. Did see breaching whales, very cool. Overall a great day trip!

With a 6 AM pick up time and a 2 hour drive to the North Shore Shark Adventures, definitely thought this would be a drive we'd just sleep through. Then came Cousin G and the Surf Bus, and early hour and the drive went by in a flash. He got us all awake with his great sense of humor and the in-depth knowledge of a North Shore local, pointing out everything from mountains, pineapple and coffee farms, and chickens crossing the road during the drive there AND back. We particularly appreciated his on-point recommendations for good eats in the area, as well as his reassurance that he would be waiting for each and every one of us on his bus to get back (too many a tour has been filled with the panic that the transpo would leave without us). Though we thought we were there for the sharks, the ride with Cousin G was an unexpected bonus. Would highly recommend!

Crazy Uncle Kevin was fun and knowledgeable about the island. He answered questions anybody had knowledgeably. Of course there were some planned stops at places to buy things and use the bathrooms but nothing was pushed or forced, and they were quick, nice stops. It was a great trip with great people. He was a safe driver, which is important. I would definite use this service again and recommend it (and I rarely write reviews on TA). I was a solo female traveler, which can have its issues, so would highly rate this service.

We booked this last minute while in Waikiki and it was the BEST experience! Thank you to Uncle Kevin for being an exceptional tour guide! We chose the snorkeling activity and we saw sea turtles 🐢. Highly recommend this tour and Uncle Kevin as a tour guide!

This was an awesome tour. Sam our guide was energetic knowledgeable and so helpful. We participated in the snorkeling which was amazing and kayaking at Halewa. We had an awesome time and saw so much. Highly recommend this tour!!

This excursion was a must-do!!! It was so great to see the local surf towns, do some activities, and get away from the crowded Waikiki area. We stopped at the macadamia tropical farm and tasted different nuts and coffees. We also stopped at a fruit stand which was a local GEM. Best fruit we had on the island. Then made our way up to the north shore where we had different activity options- we did the waterfall hike and snorkeling in sharks cove. Our tour guide, Kevin, knew SO much history about the islands and really gave us such a special experience. He pointed out so many different things and we could tell he loves the Hawaii. Truly such a memorable experience!! We would highly recommend this day trip.

Highly recommend!! The North Shore is a must see in Hawaii and this combination of activities was a perfect way to experience it like a local. We did the botanical hike to the waterfall and paddle-boarding. And Uncle Kevin was the most knowledgeable and funniest tour guide!!
