What a fun and fabulous experiences was! The food was great, staff was amazing and everyone had a good time! The entertainment was first class!

Food was not very good and entertainment was not very good either. The staff was very nice . Would not recommend.

Good food, well prepared. Energetic entertainers, servers, etc. Seating awkward for fireworks and sunset viewing but overall doable. Conversational hum detracts from atmosphere. Would recommend with caveat not for romantic or intimate date.

Great value, the dinner was great, prepare for a big whole lobster! Atmosphere, music, and the show program were amazing totally worth it!

This sunset cruise was phenomenal. It was so much more than I ever expected. We did this on our first night in Hawaii and I don't think we'll find anything to top it! Food was great, the entertainment even better.

Beautiful sunset on the water and pretty good food and entertaintainment. Ship was rolling a bit, so keep in mind if you have anyone prone to motion sickness.

For all da local braddahs: 5 star Hammah cruise!!! Brah was so sick has some of da best Polynesian dancing I’ve seen! Was like PCC. Plus I felt so welcome by da staff and DA CAPTAIN. Go check I’m out cuz no be sled go take your chick eat lobster and steak! Yessah 🤙🏾

Meri and I had a fantastic evening aboard the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise. The food was absolutely exquisite, with the lobster and fillet being particular highlights. Every course was delicious, and the service was impeccable — friendly, attentive and professional. Watching the beautiful Hawaiian sunset while enjoying such a wonderful dinner made the evening truly special. It was a memorable experience from start to finish, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, NOR YOUR TIME. We went on October 1, 2026 and was looking forward to the adventure. First, take your credit card that you paid with the cruise with you (a receipt is not enough to prove you paid for it). Second, we were not allowed to have a table for 2 because we did not pay extra (but there were a few empty tables and the lower deck was empty. When we sat down the 'stage' light was in my husband's face and it seemed to be a bother to adjust it, but they seated us. Third, don't ask your waiter for a glass of water....you paid upwards of $350 for a 5 course meal but you have to get up and get your own water. Fourth, not all of the waiters are tip-worthy (ours (Jo) was less than enthusiastic about waiting on us. Fifth, your meal is already planned (from appetizer to desert), you have no choices at all. And the beef tenderloin is served they way they cook it. The added photo is how mine came out. It was still cold on the inside and the outer layer did NOT even make a good brand mark on the beef. I'm from Texas and couldn't eat the raw meat. The desert was mango mousse cake, not my choice for a Hawaiian desert. How about something pineapple-y. The Polynesian entertainment was worthy of an ovation. The young man and lady that was on the side stage were phenomenal. Even with them being really good, I will not recommend this company to any one. If we did not pay in advance and a no refund policy, we would have walked out when we were told you have to get your own water at the very beginning. Oh, I almost forgot. The free 'champagne' toast is non-alcoholic juice. What a joke!!!!

We chose the plated dinner option. The meal was excellent! The piano player, saxophone player and singer were outstanding. We could have listened to them all evening. Nolan was our server. He took the time to explain everything! The only downside was it was too cloudy to watch a sunset but mother nature does as she pleases. I HIGHLY recommend this tour.

The Sunset Dinner Cruise was recommended by a friend who enjoyed it when he was in Hawaii. It was one of the best event while we were in Hawaii, the cruise was so enjoyable. the food and show was well worth the money.

Great evening. Crew was well organized boarded and disembarking the ship. The food was excellent. Large lobster with both claws and a fillet steak were delicious. Luau show was very nice. And since it was Friday we got the fireworks show. Great evening. Highly recommend.

It wasn’t excellent, my expectations were higher. It was very Asian tourist based. Food was alright. The steak saved the day! Entertainment was mediocre. All the dancers seemed like they did not want to be there except maybe two. Would not book again personally. The views from the boat however were beautiful and the servers were very professional and nice.

There is no AC and we were sweating like crazy. Also it is very confusing when you can walk around the boat. We had fun but you can easily miss the sunset because they are serving food the entire time the sun is setting. Drinks are very very weak and the server didn't tell the couple next to us where to get the cheese and fruit, we had to.

Wow , this excursion exceeded my expectations. By way of performances, delicious food, and top tier customer service. Only points I would deduct would be the overall age of the ship, it seemed a bit rundown/old, but very clean; however, that would not stop me from going again. Honorable mention would be the photographers. They took a picture at our table, but when asked to take a picture of the sunset with my family, she accommodated us when she didn’t have to. She caught a absolutely stunning, beautiful moment.

The dinner cruise was fantastic. We purchased the package with transportation and everything was extremely organized. We were picked up from our hotel, a staff member was actively looking for customers and checking everyone in, and the driver, Ayden, was very friendly and professional. Once we arrived at the pier, we were directed to the cruise ship, shown where to go, were greeted at every section of the ship, then escorted to our table. Everything from pick up to table seating was organized and efficient. This made the start of the cruise welcoming and we knew it was going to be great. There was plenty of food. Our salad was already at our table. The charcuterie board for light appetizers was already laid out for the guests. We were offered non alcoholic champagne and had been given 4 drink tickets for our beverages during dinner. The 5 course dinner was very good. The lobster was excellent and all other dishes were very good. The entertainment was excellent. There was jazz music and plenty of modern songs to appeal to all ages. The Hawaiian dancers were very good and got the audience involved at the end. The gentleman on the saxophone was outstanding. Overall, 10/10. Service was excellent from all staff members. Shout out to Desmond, our server. He had plenty of tables to serve but was professional, friendly, and efficient throughout the night. I highly recommend this cruise. You won’t be disappointed. Mahalo to the business for organizing such a great event.

It was an amazing dinner, sunset cruise, and show. The show was spectacular. The crew was very friendly and accommodating. The views were breathtaking. The food and drinks were both so delicious. I highly recommend this experience if you are visiting Honolulu.

I went on this cruise to celebrate my 50th birthday. It was so much fun. The pick up was timely and organized. The food was pretty good, well seasoned. The lobster was a little overcooked but very flavorful. The tenderloin was tender and well cooked. The drinks were a little watered down. The desert was interesting. The performances were amazing. The performers were very energetic. They put on a great performance. The ship’s course was well thought out and timed well. It was a great experience. Sam, our waiter, did such a good job. He tended to our needs very well. He came to check in regularly and was prompt when we made a request.

Awesome activity!! We chose hotel pickup which was great. The staff was attentive. It was a five course meal. The lobster and steak was great. I treated my father for his 80th birthday celebration. And it was something he’ll never forget. The sunset took my breath away. Great amount of time on boat not too much. The entertainers was great to watch and listen. Worth every penny!!

We did the cruise years ago and it was a very enjoyable experience. We returned this year and we were very disappointed. Too much people with no room to move. Staff very rude. I have no idea if the show was good: a couple of dancers hidden among the crowd were almost impossible to be watched. Buffet food was just average. We will not be back.

This dinner cruise was amazing. The food was delicious and the shows were very entertaining. This cruise provided for great views of the city and of the sunset. I would recommend going on Friday as you get an extra hour for fireworks. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Just book it! We booked through Trip Advisor (cheaper) with the hotel pick-up. It was so nice that we didn't need to worry about transportation. Everything was more than I expected! The food was amazing. For some reason, I thought you would select lobster or steak, but you get both! The steak was cooked perfectly...so tender!!! You will not go away hungry! The entertainment was also great! The sunset was beautiful. We even had a professional photo-bomber! 😅

The sunset cruise was awesome, the staff kept checking in to make sure we were okay and that the breeze from the water wasn’t too much for us. I loved the shows and atmosphere, they kept us entertained. The food was pretty delicious and we have three complimentary drinks including the champagne. There was a photograph that snaps your pics for only $30 bucks can’t beat that, we also got to dance towards the end , this was very relaxing, I would say kid friendly and classy all in one!

Had a great experience on dinner cruise. Wasn’t lucky enough to get sunset due to clouds but even sun going down behind clouds presented some cool colors. Food was really good.

Wasn't really that great of an experience. The food was beyond terrible, I would compare it to hospital food honestly. The steak was a JOKE, it was boiled, not grilled at all. Lobster was OK, it was cold and I had to break open the claws, not what I was expecting to do & it created a mess. Plates were small so I didnt have any room to put all the broken shells in. The feel of the boat decor, carpeting, lights, chairs and tables made it feel like I was in some kind of retirement home, just feels really old. Our server seemed like she didnt want to be there at all, no facial expressions, no warm aloha greeting...nothing, even when all the servers were dancing as part of the entertainment, she seemed annoyed that she had to do it...being in the hospitality line of work doesn't seem like it was for her. On the positive side, transportation was great/easy, boat was clean, bathroom was clean, and the entertainment was decent/good. Would I do it again...absolutely NOT. Would i recommend it, absolutely NOT. I wouldn't even take this Sunset dinner night cruise even if it was offered for free. At the end they gave a comment card, but I couldn't fill it out since nothing was given to write with and when looking around, I saw them flying around the boat and all over the floor. So even if they are filled out they just flew all around. I would look for a different sunset cruise vendor/company.

We had brought the whole family of 11 to Hawaii. This was a Great cruise and sunset experience, dinner was fabulous! Staff was very accommodating!! The kids loved the entertainment. Mahola

I think food, especially the steak is overrated. The salad dressing is tasteless and the Brie was stale. They could also improve their sound system. Their cocktails are not bad. The place was also packed there was a private party on one end so people can only use the other end of the boat to go on top. Lower your expectations so you will less likely to get disappointed
