Kelly is a great guide and the tour is interesting. The bikes each have a speaker attached to them so you can always hear what he's saying. He takes lots of pictures and gives them to you at the end of the tour so you don't have to worry about missing anything. This tour is a great way to see Honolulu.

Kelly was an amazing bike tour guide giving great instructions and detailed information. The bikes were wonderful to ride, the route was very interesting. Highly recommend booking any tour with Kelly!
Kelly is a fun and incredibly personable guide. He educates his guests about the Honolulu area and current events. This is a great 3-4 hour tour that we highly recommend to everyone. Definitely give this a try if you available time in your schedule.
Our tour guide was fun and informative. We highly recommend Kelly; he took us to some beautiful places and we have great pictures and memories.
Book this tour…it’s top notch! Kelly is super knowledgeable about the area and has a wealth of history & local information to share. You get to explore so many different parts of the city that you would likely never otherwise come across on your own. He even builds in fun snack stops to try unique fruit in China Town and a delicious uniquely-Hawaiian doughnut, too. So much fun and well worth the money. I’d suggest doing this early in your trip so you have more knowledge of downtown and can also take advantage of some of Kelly’s local dining recommendations while you’re in town.
My teen daughter and I did the Historical Honolulu Bike Tour and we loved it! The tour was a great way to get oriented to Honolulu and see parts of the city we would have otherwise missed. We enjoyed hearing about the history if the island, tasting local produce, and seeing the important sites. Kelly was a fantastic guide who knows the island very well.
Kelly was super knowledgeable about the area, current and its history. It was obvious that Kelly had a passion for his customers safety and enjoyment during the entire trip. He was positive and funny throughout the journey. I would strongly recommend this tour with Kelly!
Really enjoyed my bike tour with Kelly! He took me through parts of the city that I hadn’t seen, including a fruit market in Chinatown. I learned so much about life on the island and its unique culture, as well as the history you would expect on a city tour. The pace was casual and time was built in to really absorb the environment. The aspect that I most appreciated on this tour is the way Kelly facilitated engagement with locals that we encountered on the street, from Kevin, a friendly man who was feeding fish at a pond to e-cyclists en route to work. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who thinks that the best way to discover a city and its residents is on a bike! Mahalo, Kelly!
Trip was worth the price. Kelly was a knowledgeable and friendly leader. We saw many sights and enjoyed the exercise. Recommend it anyone who likes to bike and learn.
We hit it all on bikes … 13+ miles around Waikiki, downtown Honolulu, the Palace, State Capital, Chinatown, port, marinas, newly gentrified areas, water front parks, …. And more! We had yummy donuts made of taro - he had lots to share!
10 points. Kelly is a very personable guide. I highly recommend him as he is head and shoulders above his competition who try to imitate his services but fall far short. I will not go into detail as they try to clone him. If you want the best go with Kelly. Ignore the clones.
Kelly met at the assigned meeting place with a new bike and helmet He got me geared up and rules of the road were discussed . Kelly was full of historical facts . He shared them thru a speaker connected to the bike . We drove safely and stopped at many historical sites and even a few food spots to emphasize the areas visited. He took photos and airdropped them at the end of the tour . I would highly recommend this tour to all who want to know the people that influenced the grown and development of Hawaii
Kelly was an excellent tour guide, his knowledge of the area and exceptional. He constantly took photos of us on the tour and tour highlights then air dropped all the photos to my wife at no charge. He provided snacks, water and exotic fruits in Chinatown. Highly recommend tour and Kelly as your tour guide.
Fantastic experience with Kelly who is a great story teller and shows the local sights with passion and local knowledge. The bikes were easy to ride and the route was flat and safe for those who have not been on a bike for a while. Lots of water and local snacks to enjoy along the way and the pace is just right. The locals you meet along the way are always up for a chat and willing to share their Aloha. The best way to see Downtown and China Town and the route in and out of Waikiki was very interesting and a different perspective to what you would normally see on the well trodden tourist route. Instructions and communication before hand were comprehensive and easy to follow. Thanks Kelly for a great morning.
We had an enjoyable day, biking around town and by the ocean. We saw a lot and learned a lot. Tasted some new fruits, Saw some cool murals, saw some historical buildings. Overall, a fun experience.
This was a great tour my husband and I are bicyclist adventurers and enjoy doing bicycle rides on our vacations. So coming to Hawaii we knew we wanted to get in a ride. This was great because we got to ride and learn lots of things about the area. Kelly takes you at a nice pace where it is not boring but also not so fast that you are working too hard. He shares fun little insights on the area and sites. We got to visit the China town market and enjoy some fresh fruit. Kelly is great to take pictures that he shares with you to document the sites and the ride. I highly suggest this tour for any and all who can ride a bike.
Tour was top notch. Friendly place to ride, great sights to see and history to learn. Our guide/leader Kelly was outstanding. He knew the area like the back of his hand. Knew a lot of people that we were able to stop and visit with. The tour moved but was very relaxed. Perfect for a bike ride of almost every skill level. Highly recommended.
We did the bike tour with Kelly and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The tour itself is about 14 miles but is on mostly flat terrain and easily navigated. Kelly is extremely knowledgeable and personable and really ensures that you are well looked after. The itinerary takes you to places such as the murals ,Chinatown and along the waterfront to areas that you would never discover on your own. The little stop offs for photos and snacks makes the tour feel so personal. Kelly’s interaction with the locals and the wildlife only add to the enjoyment of this tour. My wife and I have taken bike tours in many different cities throughout the world but this one was probably the best one we have ever done. Do yourself a favour and book this tour. I guarantee you won’t regret it
Kelly was great! In addition to visiting the sites mentioned in the tour, Kelly was constantly narrating as we rode with a mic and speaker system attached to the bike. He took plenty of photos that I really didn't need to take my own. As a cyclist I thought about renting a bike and going out on my own, but I'm glad I took the tour instead as Kelly really knew his way around the streets, knew when take sidewalks, etc. to keep us safe, and of course knew the history that I couldn't have gotten on my own.
Had an amazing 14 mile bike tour of Honolulu. Guide was very informative and was surprised that he took countless pics of myself and various locations around town. Was very helpful since I was traveling solo and didn't have anyone to take pics of me. Would strongly recommend!!!
Kelly was incredible. He knows a ton about Hawaii - I learned so much! Definitely worth the tour!!!!
Our guide was Kelly... Very informative and interesting different view of Honolulu. We were the only ones on the tour so it was "private". Very easy riding with lots of stops for narrative and pictures. Kelly knew many of the locals, including the birds 😊 Bikes were in excellent condition and came with water and snacks. Highly recommend!
Kelly, our tour guide was excellent. His knowledge of the islands was impressive. We was very aware of others and safety of all.
Kelly was a wealth of knowledge and a terrific tour guide. I had seen the Supreme Court building on both editions of Hawaii Five-0 and always wanted to see that building. The capital building was different, as it does not have a dome. We saw China Town and many other historic places during this interesting and relatively flat tour. Make sure you take this tour with Kelly-it's a once in a lifetime chance to learn much about the area. Good luck and have fun!!
Fantastic time with the most knowledgable and amazing guide!! I went by myself in hopes to experience Honolulu from a local, “boots on the ground” perspective and so happy I did!! It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Highly recommend!!
Informative ride in a spectacular place. Well planned. Kelly was fun and knowledgeable. Rode through a few pineapple showers and a small rain.
Oahu is full of life and beauty. The bike tour enhances your visit with Hawaiian history. The tour guide was great! Covered all parts of Waikiki.
Great tour, Kelly was friendly and knowledgeable. A highlight of my trip to Oahu. He took photos during the ride and made them available for download.
We had a fantastic time touring around the city and learning its history. Kelly was an exceptional tour guide. We loved it!
Great tour guide! We were able to see many sections of Honolulu that we have never seen before. We did not have to take any pictures since our tour guide took them for us and downloaded them to our phones. Lots of wonderful pictures!
This was a trip my husband went on . According to him , Kelly was knowledgeable and worked hard to make it a good experience. It was a good day!
There is so much more to Honolulu than Waikiki! The Historical Honolulu Bike Tour allowed us to explore the city and see sights we might not have otherwise seen. Our gregarious tourguide, Kelly, knows the ins and outs of the city while providing historical information and anecdotes. He took many photos of the trip capturing the sights including historical monuments and buildings, beautiful parks and interesting murals, and a stop in Chinatown for Hawaiian fruits and pork. If you're hesitant because the tour sounds long and tiring, it was not. The bikes are in excellent condition and the terrain is flat. We stopped several times along the way. This tour was a highlight of our vacation and we highly recommend it!
Our tour was recommended to us from some friends who had Kelly as their guide. They were right! It was outstanding and Kelly is amazing. He is thorough in his prep and guidance throughout tour. Completely engaging and we loved all the interesting bits of history and current info about Honolulu. So great to have a local view behind the glamour of Waikiki shops/ beach. Best experience of our holiday here.
One of the most exciting things we did while we stayed in Hawaii. We have come to Hawaii several times and we are very familiar with Hawaii and its culture. Let me tell you , Kelly is spot on . The history , culture, food and people he knows. We went to place that I haven’t seen in year. Local food that was excellent. And people we meet that Kelly know were full of history and local culture , I wish we could have stayed all day. My wife and I highly recommend this tour, you will not regret it. We also booked his Diamond Head Tour for Saturday. . . What an adventure
We love our Historic Honolulu Bike Tour with Kelly, our tour guide. Not only was he personable, caring, but also trekked us safely through Honolulu via bike paths, sidewalks, and bike lanes. We would have never ventured on our own to see most of these places. We cycled to the palace, Aloha Tower, the murals, Elvis’s statue, Chinatown, the Marina, and the beach to name a few. Stop and smell the roses! This is a leisurely 14 mile bike ride with Kelly giving you a wealth of information. They were photo opportunities at every turn, and Kelly, the guide, used his phone to take many pictures. Not only did we receive over 100 photos of our tour, but he later emailed a short video of our adventure. I would book this tour again in a heartbeat! A great way to explore Honolulu on two wheels!
This was by far one of the best bike tours I have taken. Kelly is knowledgeable and made the whole bike tour feel personable, safe, and really enjoyable! Highly recommend this as a great way to discover and explore parts of Honolulu while biking.
Just recently took the tour with Kelly who was great! We covered a lot in about 4 hours. China Town (with a sample of fresh fruit and pork), Landmarks (the Capitol, Palace, etc, ). I am glad I did it because I got to see a lot of the things I wanted. It was an easy 14 mile ride. Highly Reccommend!
Kelly is an amazing character! We loved every minute of our city bike tour with him. He knows the locals, the cool spots, the great food, all the history. Really amazing half day spent! Experiencing everything slower by bike is definitely worth it!
Kelly was awesome and knew the Honlulu area so well! Took lots of photos and spoke to locals. You get to see so much more of Honlulu on a bike vs. a vehicle. Along with a sample of Hawaiin foods. 10 out of 10 with this guy.
Kelly was awesome. Took photos and spoke to locals. You get to see so much more of Waikiki than you would from a vehicle. 10 out of 10 with this guy.
Kelly was our tour guide for our family and he was superb, filled with interesting facts and stories to share. We did the historical tour and would definitely recommend this tour and also return for another tour when we return to Oahu again. What made the tour great was Kelly's attentiveness to both bike ride safety and making sure with experience was fun. He gave great instructions making sure all of us knew the ride path. He was thoroughly enjoyable to talk to and took lots of pictures for our family. We are so glad we found this tour as it is now a highlight of our trip! We will return for another bike tour with Kelly!
Great bike Tour! Highly Recommended! Kelly was informative and takes you on a bike journey through the city and beach. I always take a bike tour in every city I visit........one of my favorites. BIKE TOUR HAWAII and Kelly give a true experience. You get to know the city...hear it, feel it, taste it. TAKE THIS BIKE TOUR!
We had a blast of a day with Kelly! The man can talk! But he’s full of excellent information and a lot of humor. He also was very gracious to us and to people along our path. We biked about 14 miles and saw a lot of Honolulu we’d never otherwise have known to look for or visit — downtown, Chinatown, a neighborhood of incredible murals, the royal palace, the State Capitol, its Supreme Court, the harbor, the site of Elvis’s last concert … even Barak Obama’s and Dwayne Johnson’s childhood schools and the place of the former President’s first job. If you want to see Honolulu from a different perspective from any other, laugh a lot, get some great exercise, and enjoy the city from outdoors, this is the tour to take.
Kelly was great very informative learnt and saw a lot of Waikiki the pace was comfortable with plenty of stops his mic connected to speakers on the bikes so we had running commentary while riding. We felt very comfortable when riding with Kelly making us feel safe with his directions and road safety. For new people to Waikiki it is the best way to get your bearings.
Pros Kelly - Knowledgeable, Kind, Personable, Generous Price - Use Rakuten Savings Toolbar Tour - Excellent tour of Waikiki, Downtown, Chinatown, and More Bikes - Brand new, easy to ride, comfortable Timing - 7 am works well due to the heat in the afternoon Amenities - Two bottles of water, snacks, hand sanitizer Photos - Kelly airdropped over 100 pictures at the end of the tour Con's None other than the location says to meet at the banyan tree next to the bike rack. It's not the Biki bike rack next to the banyan tree its the hidden behind a wall bike rack to the left of the banyan tree when facing the ocean. Great tour, just do it!
The wide variety of murals that Kelly pointed out where really cool. Down to earth guy with a lot of local knowledge. Would recommend
Loved seeing a different parts of Honolulu. The speaker system was great for this type of tour, everyone could hear the guides narrative as we pedaled along. Video collage was great too
We appreciated Kelly's bike tour around the city. Without it, we wouldn't have seen most of those sites, and certainly would have missed the stories behind them. Kelly was a great guide.
Kelly was a very personable and knowledgeable bike host. He made the trip interesting and took some very good photographs of me biking through the city and offered a lot of advice in terms of places to eat and visit. I give him an excellent rating because he made the trip fun and enjoyable. Thanks Kelly!
This was an awesome tour. It was projected to rain by lunch time or early afternoon, so unfortunately everyone else cancelled and it was just myself, my wife and our guide. It rained a light sprinkle for 15 minutes, otherwise overcast and very comfortable. Kelly was very, very knowledgable about the area, and we went to many historical buildings, biked through older sections of the city, mostly on bike paths and sidewalks, but sometimes on streets. Went up to the top of the Aloha clock tower building, went through Chinatown and even stopped at the market for a walk through and tasting. Saw a lot of different aspects of the central area, wall murals in an old industrial area, schools, government buildings, and areas where filming for Hawaii Five-O, Gilligan's Island and other films occurred. The tour was to last 4 hours and ended up almost 5 hours. We were very happy that we took the tour with Kelly. Highly recommend.
