Our experience was exceptional! The entire crew was amazing. So welcoming. The drinks, snacks and sliders were delicious. There was a photographer on board to capture beautiful moments. The service was fabulous. There was always someone coming around to get us refills. The boat was beautiful, and watching the crew set up the sail was beyond impressive. The sunset was absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend taking this sunset sail.

So worth the cost , crew were friendly, helpful very attentive to everyone & Captain Jordan knew her stuff! Captain kept us in the best water since the wind was very strong, I felt very comfortable the whole ride. Highly recommend!

We had the best time on our Day’s End Cocktail Sunset Sail Cruise aboard the Alii Nui Sailing Charter in August 2026. The Signature cocktails they advertised were outstanding. They even walked around and took orders and brought your drinks to you. Customer service on our cruise was over the top, not only were our drinks served to us, but the Captain and crew all walked around the decking talking to everyone, they brought me a napkin when I inquired about one, and even came around to clean everyone’s sunglasses. The crew was very personable and the weather was amazing. Also, the appetizers and barbecue sandwiches were delicious. They even had vegetarian. I have been on many cruises, but this one was the best by far. They do not overbook so there was plenty of seating and room for everyone to move around. I highly recommend it.

This cruise was absolutely fabulous. The boat was amazing - so beautiful and clean. But above all the staff was the absolute best. Extremely professional, friendly and stupid on their heads to make sure we had a good time. Having the professional photographer onboard was a real plus too. We enjoyed the evening so much! We did the sunset sail and it was truly amazing from start to finish! The boat itself is gorgeous, incredibly well-maintained, and spacious. What really made the evening special, though, was the crew. They were professional, attentive, and genuinely fun, making sure everyone on board had a fantastic time and a great view. Watching the sunset over the water with the Maui coastline in the background was a dream come true. If you are looking for the perfect sunset sail, this is the one to book. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The wind was a little much however, that was in anyone’s control. They set us up where it was not bad wind. The food was good. Open bar was nice. Great service. The crew was really engaging and attentive. The boat was really nice. I would do it again. We had our older kids with us. They said they had a great time too.

Our experience was amazing. We booked the morning of and wanted to just enjoy a nice evening, watching a sunset with unlimited drinks and this is exactly what we got. The employees were so nice and friendly. We went as a group of friends and we had a great time, family friendly and everything we expected and more. The tour said 2 hours but we were actually out on the boat for 2 1/2 hours. They extended the time, which was amazing. Everything about this company and this boat was amazing. Highly recommend for families, friend groups and even for couples.

My husband and I took this sunset sail on the last night of our honeymoon and it was awesome! The crew was extremely kind and accommodating to everyone on board, it wasn't over crowded and the views were beautiful. Thanks Alii Nui Sailing!

We had an absolute blast during the Sushi sunset sail on Monday! The entire crew was amazing and so attentive! Special thanks to First Mate Logan for a fab night and recommending this trip! The Sushi served was absolutely amazing and to make the experience unforgettable- we even were lucky enough to see some of the last humpbacks around!

The entire experience was amazing! The crew was super attentive, had great conversation, and made sure we were always okay. We were able to see some whales which was incredible and the food was great! Would absolutely book again with this crew. and got some amazing pictures! The view was gorgeous.

We booked this sail right after Maui had extreme rain and thought this sail would be canceled. The sun came out the day of and we were able to experience the best part of our trip. Whales were everywhere, the boat crew was so incredibly funny and sweet, the cocktails were on point and there was great food. If you’re in Maui, this is a must. You will have the best time.

Never went out because of Kona storm. I have been writing snd calling. Ineed to be refunded.. please respond…. My credit card company says I was charged!!!! I need my refund. Thsnk you

The boat was nice, good food to snack on, and the bar was prefect for the event. The crew are very friendly and experienced. The Sail went and then the boat just floated still in the bay. Was able to watch the sunset, not bad. Saw good whale activiity, and in the end of the cruise there were two whales breaching 8 or so times very close the boat. We think the whales were all fake ones though.

What an amazing voyage aboard the Alii Nui! The crew consisting of Ian, Ryan, Ernie and Captain Josh did an awesome job of getting us on to the whales and a beautiful sunset! Food and drinks were great, just an all around awesome experience which we would highly recommend and would book again in a heartbeat. And a special shoutout to Kelly for some amazing photos!! Although billed as a “Sunset Cruise”, the highlight was the whales—the captain finds the whales—-this time, right at sunset, there were a half-dozen breeches!!!

Captain and crew were awesome! Captain made sure we had a mix of sunset cocktail cruising and positioning the boat so we could see as many whale breaches as possible. Two-fold experience!

In addition to premium cocktails and delicious barbecue sliders, we were amazed with whale sightings along the way and a remarkable and beautiful sunset! Thanks to Captain John and firstmate Johanna for their exceptional service and fun interaction! And a surprising bonus when Ian came around to clean our sunglasses before the sunset! This sail is first-rate!! Highly Recommend!

The boat and crew were great. Friendly, professional and fun. It was a great way to enjoy the sun&sea.

We never got to go on excursion because we were moved from original date to another date and then an hour and half before we were supposed to be at the harbor, we got a text stating cruise was cancelled due to mechanical problems. The team we spoke to was very nice and helpful. I’m sure if we’d have been able to go on the trip it would’ve been most enjoyable. They offered us another day, but we were leaving the next day and had already changed plans around twice to accommodate the schedule changes made by the company. It was an anniversary surprise for my husband and by the time it was cancelled the 2nd time, everywhere else was already booked. Kudos to the employees for getting us a refund immediately and trying to come up with another solution- Mahalo! Hopefully they will get the issues resolved soon.

It was amazing! Once in a lifetime views! There were so many whales! The food and drinks were awesome, too, and the deckhands were very knowledgable. Worth it!

Had a wonderful sunset sail; absolutely beautiful - the heavy appetizers and free cocktails were great! The crew was very friendly and efficient in tending to the boat, tending bar and helping serve all the guests! We will definitely book it again next time in Maui!

We absolutely loved our time on board the Alii Nui for the Days End Sunset Sail. Captain Josh, Mackenzie, Ian, and Oli took fantastic care of us. We were unsure of the weather at the start of our tour because it was extremely windy, but Captain Josh expertly navigated the windy conditions and brought us to calmer water for the majority of our cruise and gave us plenty of notice of upcoming weather so we could go to the cabin. They even spotted a HUMPBACK WHALE!! We thought we were there too early to see whales, so it was a special treat to see one. It was tail slapping and even breached a few times! And the icing on the cake was a stunning rainbow that popped out just before sunset. It was a magical evening on the water. Definitely a trip to remember. We would highly recommend this tour to others.

Lovely evening on the boat with Captain Timothy and team. Windy and rough, but the crew found us a calm spot to enjoy sunset on the water. Drinks and food were great. Wide selection of good wine, beer, and cocktails. Highly recommend!

Captain Josh and his crew were amazing. We were lucky enough to see a young whale playing, slapping his tail and even breeched for us. Saw a beautiful rainbow and the sunset was spectacular. The cocktails, food and crew were all top notch. Was a great experience and would highly recommend.

Enjoyed the trip. It was easy to park near the boat. The seats were comfortable. The drinks were nice. They also served food: pork sliders, jackfruit sliders, marlin dip, onion dip and crackers. Overall, it was relaxing and beautiful.

Easy check-in, friendly staff, lots of good drinks flowing. Food is fine and as expected. Very windy! Smooth sailing, clear and friendly directions given. A must do while in Maui. Would definitely recommend.
