Easy peasy way to get to Hanauma Bay. Skip the lines and get right to snorkeling at one of the best spots ever.

Hanauma Bay is one of my favorite places to visit on Oahu. Unfortunately Hawaii has made it more difficult to go with higher prices and limited parking so you might not even get in, but this tour at least took away some of the uncertainty. It was great that the bus picks you up and brings you back and you could watch the nature video on the bus, although I wish there was a bit more flexibility on which bus to take. I originally booked the tour to be picked up at one resort, but Roberts switched us to a different pickup location. My TripAdvisor and Roberts emails did not match, so I had to call Roberts directly to make sure which location was correct. We also wanted to return earlier, but were unable to get on the earlier bus. But overall this was a great tour and I would recommend it for anyone who likes snorkeling.

This was a great way to get to snorkel at this great bay! The pickup was easy, the large bus was well maintained, the drive to the bay was beautiful( passing by homes owned by famous people), and it was a good experience !

make sure you check details/ I had made reservations to be picked up at ABC store. fortanutaely I called Roberts to verify and they said "we don't pick up at that location" though it was offered through Viator when I made the reservation the pick up spot was no longer active...from there it was all quite smooth.

Hanauma Bay is a must, overall experience was a 10 including transportation. The drivers were informative and kind.

Great communication, very nice bus ride! Was nice getting a bit of a tour on the way there with some interesting info about the areas we passed by. Very nice driver and service and made the whole experience stress free.

It's a beauty place,would have liked longer there. The bus did,nt turn up for us ,so got an Uber to the bay ,it was like gaining entry to Area 51 !!!!!.

It was a great experience. We unfortunately didn’t counter a little bit of bad weather so the surf was a little rough, but very nice easy to get to.

It was extremely well organized. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The pick up was timely and the couch bus clean and air conditioned. Hanuama Bay was pristine, lovely and perfect! I highly recommend this tour.

This was an OK experience. It was a bit pricey for what we got. The biggest problem, was that we booked a pickup for a specific location. In the confirmation email, they gave us a confusing list of routes, then booked us on a route that conflicted with the location that was even printed on the confirmation. We had to call, and the first person was of ZERO help. Then we called again, and they rebooked us for the correct route. Problems: 1) did not provide correct route for pickup, 2) rude and unhelpful phone call, 3) confirmation email does not provide which route applies (just your selected pickup location and a random list of all routes all day). DO NOT RECOMMEND.

It is a really beautiful place. Great for photography. That said, there was too many people when we went. In some places the water was a bit “murky” for snorkeling, but still pretty cool.

Went solo. Chose Roberts Hawaii and did not look elsewhere so not sure what other price and access options were available. The allowed gear to be stored in cargo bay so people could bring chairs etc, not sure what the limit is on bringing things on the bus, but do mind the limits the preserve places on what is allowed inside. I was completely satisfied with my experience. Reason for going with Roberts was to ensure advance reservation for snorkeling as well as avoiding potential parking issue. Also Roberts allowed their patrons to skip the orientation line at the preserve as we were oriented on the bus ride to Hanauma Bay and given wrist bands to show and gain quick access to tram or walk down to beach. Hanauma Bay is a gem and all that they do there to keep nature thriving/recovering and informing users to clean-up and treat the preserve with respect including limiting the number of people per day will go a long way to making this a very good experience for all of us and nature too. Not to mention, taking the bus keeps the car trips and parking lot situation manageable, can't imagine if all the bus riders were taking their own cars rental or otherwise.

The tour bus was easy to find. The guide and the driver were great. They’d provided useful information and showed some interesting houses on the way to Hanauma bay. The bay was beautiful and we had an amazing experience!

The tour made it easy to get there and back. They did the video and gave us our wrist bands on our way there so we were ready to go as soon as they dropped us off.

This is the only way to do Hanauma Bay. This package includes guaranteed entry to the park, transportation and skipping the line at the park. Yes you pay a premium for that but it is worth it. Our bus had plenty of storage for our chairs and umbrellas, and the guide on the drive to Hanauma bay made the trip interesting with the insights along the way. This package is highly recommended.

This great activity was efficient from start to finish. The bus was comfortable and clean. The bus driver was very nice. We watched the mandatory educational video during the trip to the Bay – not at the Bay. So, after we got off the bus, we walked through a less-crowded entrance gate – directly to the Bay. There is no need to make park-entry reservations on the government website in advance. There is no need to find a parking spot. If you would like to save time, then book this activity.

We had the best day out at Hanauma Bay booking through Robert’s Hawaii. Mahalo for the excellent customer service, and the beautiful buses that took us there and back. The staff were so nice and we enjoyed our activities for the day and the welcoming feeling we received going back home. Great service! Would definitely use again!

The bus driver gave us so much information. It was so nice skipping the training line and going right in. The bay is phenomenal. So many fish and such a feeling of safety. Would recommend for convenience

They change the picking up unexpectedly and poorly communicated and then you have to struggle to reach the new point.

This is a simple and very convenient tour. They picked us up near our hotel, and took us to Haunama Bay. We watched the required video on the bus, so there was no delay when we got there. The tickets for the bay sell out in a flash, so it was great to have guaranteed tickets without having to join in that melee. They were flexible about the bus we returned on. Haunama bay itself is amazing and well worth the visit.

Well worth it!! To see all the amazing fish was truly amazing. And the scenery can’t be beat - so beautiful.

The bay is gorgeous! The water was clear, clean, and beautiful; we were even able to see a sea lion! The bus was clean and the tourists were kindhearted. Loved this place, it was an amazing experience! Would love if there were more umbrellas to cover yourself when you chill in the sand since there were so little and not everyone was able to get one.

Amazing experience and the staff was fantastic! The only confusing part is finding the pick up location as the hotel we were getting picked up at had multiple entrances. A street corner or direction would have been helpful!

Unprofessional and disrespectful experience from bus drivers to loaders and guide. Unclear meetup points. When we done with swimming, I went and checked in with the loaders, put down out names. The loaders told us to wait until she called our names. We waited, however she managed to sent us to the wrong bus, that didn't take us to the right hotel. I'm with my family and my mother is 86 years old. All they said was sorry, you have to walk to your hotel. Is this how you guys operate your business? It's disgusting and never again with this company.

My wife and I love this trip out to Hanama Bay. We have been multiple times and taken our own car, taken a taxi, taken a 12 passenger bus, and none of these compared to the experience with Roberts luxury bus. Pick up. Was perfectly on time and we left right away. The lady who drove and narrated did an amazing job and was so interactive.

Exactly what we needed. The communication was clear about where and when the pick up was, and wasn't changed in the 24 hour lead up like a lot of other companies. We were dropped off at Hanauma Bay after having watched the mandatory video on the bus on the journey to the Bay. Very pleased.

Wonderful experience! Everything is so smooth. We don’t need to worry about reservations and the bus pick up/drop off us right in front of our hotel. Since we watched the educational movie on bus, we bypassed the crowds and got a pretty good spot on beach and started snorkeling earlier. The price is also unbeatable.

I booked a trip to Hanauma Bay for June 26, 2026, at 11 am. The bus never arrived. After several calls to the company and 45 minutes after our scheduled pick-up time, we were told that the bus had broken down and they were working on sending another one out. Luckily, we had a rental car and were able to drive there ourselves. We didn't get there until 1 pm, and we still had to watch the required video, so we didn't get into the water until 1:45 pm. They close the Hanauma Bay Beach at 3 pm. So basically, we got to snorkel for an hour. I was told that they were considering giving us a refund, but as of today (July 1, 2026), I have not heard anything.

This tour was disorganized. Our tickets stated our meeting place would be at Ross at 9:35 AM. We arrived early by 9:15 AM. When buses started showing up they told us we were supposed to be picked up at a different location. Our tickets and everything on the Viator app said pick up at Ross at 9:35 AM. They got us on a different bus at 10:10 AM, 45 minutes late. Got to beach and by the time we got the snorkel equipment we had about an hour in the water before we had to get back to return bus. Same issue trying to get back as they told us the drop off was in a different place. The beach is nice but I would go directly through the park instead of using Robert Hawaii tour group. Was not worth the money. Highly disappointed!

Our bus driver Lee was amazing plus knowledgable and all staff were nice, answered any questions we had. Getting to pick up spot from our hotel was easy. Once at Hanauma Bay it was quick and easy to get from parking lot to bay for amazing snorkeling.

I scheduled a snorkeling trip to Hanauma Bay for the next day, and I called the reservations which I was connected to New York. Since I called late at night on Thursday Hawaii time, it was Friday New York time. Long story short, Viator scheduled me for Saturday and not Friday. We arrived on Friday at the pickup location and it just happened to be raining hard and Hanauma Bay was closed that day. I immediately called Viator and discovered they had scheduled me and my family for Saturday. Well, we were leaving Hawaii Saturday morning and could not go that day. After numerous phone calls to Viator, explaining that the booking agent must have made the day mistake due to their time zone difference, Viator refused to refund my money and accepted no responsibility. Viator even marked the status of this booking as 'Complete', which it was not. I am very disappointed with Viator for this unprofessional conduct. For this reason, I will never book with them again.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Pick up and drop off was seamless. Great little tour of Ohau while on the way. Elaine was the perfect host and driver. Watching the required video while on the shuttle saved a lot of time. Bus was so comfortable and cool. We went straight through and by-passed those waiting to get in. Well worth the money and so easy- no worries navigating busy Honolulu traffic . The best part? Most tours are 6 hours. With tide fluctuations it’s hard to snorkel for that length of time. 2-3 hours is plenty. You can schedule a pick up and drop off to suit your needs. We left at 8:15 (and right on time) and came back at 12:30 (again right on time ) I recommend this tour over all others - it is perfect in so many ways.

It’s worth it, no need to fight for parking, snorkeling gear are included, super convenient . Get to see famous people houses along the way.

My waiting location indicated in my email is at Marriott hotel Waikiki but ended my name was at Hilton hotel at 8.15am. We had been waited at 8am at Marriott and I had spent overseas call to Viator agency staff , billing came today is Sgd 153.10 for 19 mins verification about the location and showed the tour guide and bus driver my email indicated waiting location is at Marriott not Hilton then they allowed us to go up the bus. I wondered my phone bill can be compensated?

This is an amazing experience, enhanced by the wonderful personel that get you to Hanauma Bay and back. Our guide, Katherine Yuan, was knowledgeable and helpful getting the entire group into Hanauma Bay from the bus, ensuring and confirming pickup times for heading back to Waikiki, and giving us helpful tips for enjoying our time. While you can drive to Hanauma Bay independently, this tour does all of the background application / reservation work required to visit for tourists. On the bus ride from Waikiki you also complete the mandatory 10 minute informational video, saving you time once you reach the bay. You get a wrist band that is your continued admission into and out of Hanauma Bay for the day, so you can visit the snack bar, gift shop, and scenic photo spots. Cost for admission is included in the tour price, so once you are at Hanuama Bay you don't need to spend any additional money, unless you want to rent snorkeling gear, beach equipment (chairs / umbrellas), or purchase food, souvenirs, etc. The bus was full but spacious and did not feel crowded. Go as early as you can to beat the crowds and have more time exploring and enjoying the reef and animals that make it their home.
