The experience says 6-7 hours tour. We were picked up at 6:30 but was asked to return to the van at 10:45. We drove back to the hotel by 11:35. So that is a 5 hours total. The driver was friendly and the city drive-by tour part was fine. We could have stayed at the Pearl harbor complex longer so that we could have seen either the submarine museum or the aviation museum. As such, we returned on our own to see the submarine museum on a different day. The Pearl Harbor Memorial was a great visit.

Our Drive/Tour guide (Hansome) was great. Very personable gift of knowledge about the Island. Pearl Harbor tour was pretty much self guided accept trip boat ride to the burial site. That area is so sacred and special. The site is very clean and well maintained.
They did a great job we were pleased we had a great day and a great time!
A must for every American. Respect and honor for the past and thankful for the life we all live today. Our guide was informative and on time Mister handsome :) ran a tight schedule and kept the group on their toes. Good job and thank you
We had an amazing Grand tour with our guide Jack and our driver Shan. They went above and beyond to make our day enjoyable. Jack was knowledgeable, friendly, and made every stop interesting with great stories and local insights. Shan was an excellent driver—safe, professional, and always courteous. Together they made a fantastic team and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. Thank you both for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this tour!
Me and my wife booked this tour as it is our first time visiting Hawaii. We wanted to see Pearl Harbor and we booked this tour from the street. Our bus arrived and it had no air conditioning running and it is July so it was extremely hot. Everyone was complaining about how hot is was inside the bus, so my wife stood up and went to ask the driver to turn the AC on, but she got yelled at by the crazy bus driver. When I tell you this guy was absolutely INSANE, he really lost it. He started yelling at my wife to sit down and there was no AC. He YELLED and started shouting for no reason. We got to Pearl Harbor and I went to ask him why he was yelling, she was simply asking to turn the air on. This driver now started to shout at me saying to get away from him, this is his home country and he became utterly racist towards me because I am not from Hawaii. But it gets worse, while this is happening at Pearl Harbor this man starts to yell and shout and CALL THE NAVY on me. Facing sheer embarrassment this was absolutely unacceptable. He started to threaten me and say I am a dangerous person and for them not to let me inside Pearl Harbor. I spoke to the Navy officer in charge and they let us in we went to Pearl Harbor but from how the morning started we didn't even want to continue the tour. The driver told us we are not welcomed back on the bus and he would leave us stranded in Pearl Harbor. We called the company but there was no answer and we left a message for the owner of the company. We decided to leave and take a taxi and abandon the tour because of how horrible the experience was. The taxi cost us $78 USD back to our hotel and eventually the owner of the company called back and apologized. The owner issued a refund for our taxi for $78 but we were never reimbursed for the tour money which we didn't even do. The horrible part was this driver has done this in the past with other tourists and this isn't the first time. He did this 2 weeks ago to another woman. The owner informed me that he fired the driver but facing the sheer embarrassment and racist remarks we left Hawaii on a completely sad note than we went in. We will never be returning to Hawaii due to how horrible this experience was and how the locals treat tourists.
We had an amazing time on the Grand Tour Harbor + City Tour in Honolulu! Our tour guide, Huma Huma — or “Handsome” as he told us to call him 😂 — was absolutely incredible. He grew up on Oahu, so he knew everything about the island and shared so much history, local knowledge, and fun facts throughout the entire tour. He made the experience so fun with great music, a great personality, and kept everything running smoothly and on time. He made sure we knew where to go, when to be back, and answered all our questions. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and loves sharing the island with visitors. One of the most unforgettable parts of the tour was visiting the USS Arizona Memorial. It was such an emotional and powerful experience — it literally brought me to tears. Seeing it in person is something I will never forget. If you get the chance to tour with Handsome/Huma Huma, do it! He truly made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour! 🌺🌴
Amazing tour with Hamuhamu! Incredibly personable and full of love and knowledge for the history of the city and events about Pearl Harbor. Can absolutely tell they loved their role and sharing the islands history in a respectful and fun way.
Captain Jack and Kapono were absolutely incredible tour guides! The weather was extreme — heavy rain and wild conditions — but they completely made up for it with their positivity, knowledge, and constant support throughout the tour. They kept the energy high, made us feel safe, and turned what could have been a rough day into an unforgettable adventure. As Mainers, we’re no strangers to tough weather, but this was next level — and still so worth it. Their professionalism and passion truly stood out. This is an experience we will never forget. Highly recommend this business, especially with guides like Captain Jack and Kapono leading the way!
Our driver was full of knowledge about hawaii and is history. After the pearl Harbor tours, the driver took us around downtown honolulu and stopped for a brief picture taking time before doing is back off in waikiki.
All I can say it was a very expensive Uber ride because that is all we got, value for money, definitely not.Catch the local bus out for $3
Jake and Stewie did such a job organizing the whole tour. From the sight seeing,to lunch and bathroom breaks. Overall, great tour! We were able to cover a lot of things in one day.
Our family of four recently took the Pearl Harbor and Honolulu City Tour, and we had a great time! Kapono, our tour guide, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. He did a great job of sharing the history in a way that was easy to understand and kept us all interested, including the teens! The stops were well-paced, and we appreciated the mix of solemn history at Pearl Harbor with the scenic and cultural highlights around the city. The only downside was the limited air conditioning on our bus, which made the ride a bit uncomfortable at times, especially in the afternoon heat. That said, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience. Would definitely recommend this tour—especially if you get Kapono as your guide!
Kapono was wonderful! He is very informative and has a great sense of humor. We will definitley recommend this tour to all our friends and family.
Kapono was very patient with the tour group. Very informative city tour and Pearl Harbor memorial is always a great place to visit.
Robert is a great tour guide. The tour was very informative and enjoyable. We saw some amazing sights on the city tour as well.
The tour was awesome and rob was funny and great. He had great information about the island. The pearl harbor tour was great.
Rob was amazing and so informative and all of the knowledge he has and he was fun too the family really enjoyed the tour and our tour guide Rob.
Was a awesome experience our tour guide was excellent very knowledgeable and patient. Would recommend this tour to others plan to participate in more in the future.
Kapono was amazing, he added value to the tour. I strongly recommend it if you are interested in Pearl Harbour history..
Kapono did a good job. He was a great tour guide and gave us a lot of information. We appreciated the water and snack that were included with this tour.
Kapono was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and kind. We were on time for everything and had a chance to try Leonard's famous malasadas.
Our tour guide, Kapono, and our driver, King Mike, were amazing! They were both super friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. They both did a great job of keeping us on track and on schedule. My only suggestion would be to go to a cleaner place to snorkel, since there was a lot of trash around the beach and it was difficult to see underwater because of the murkiness. Overall, I recommend this tour to get to know the beautiful island of Oahu.
Kapono and King Mike are amazing at what they do. They were very informative and family friendly. Enjoyed every minute. The best parts where the turtles and the nut farm with the animals
We had a good time and good experience in O’ahu. Start at GRAND PEARL HARBOR, world historic place, then go grab Malasada it’s very good!! (Don’t miss at all) Finally, CITY TOUR in downtown and stop at Iolani Palace.
Kapono was a great tour guide! Offered water / chips. He gave us Hawaiian flowers to drop at memorial to all those that lost their lives. Great info on the drive back. Appreciated his kindness.
Loved the rich cultural history of Hawaii, Kapono was a wonderful, and personable host!! Absolutely loved my time. Reccomend to anyone looking to learn more about Hawaii and its complex history.
This is the worst tour on God's creation!! I booked this tour reviewing the TripAdvisor page. MISTAKE!!! If you go elsewhere, you will see the true reviews. Robert Fernandez rants on and on about his family and his life, which is insignificant to the tour. He keeps sharing about his mistakes, doing the best he can, and negativity. Then he goes on a tangent talking about ignorant and insignificant things. Expectations for this tour have not been met. If this tour was free, I recommend renting a car and doing it yourself.
Absolutely amazing guide! Very knowledge and taught us a lot about Hawaiian culture!! Provided water and a small snack! Highly recommend!
Robert is a very great and awesome tour guide. Can’t get any better than him. He was able to give us such educational and spiritual insights.
They were on time to pick me up . The tour guide was very friendly and very patient everything went perfect as planned . Hopefully I will be back to get others tours with them
Rob was awesome! He gave good instructions and was kind in doing so. He is extremely knowledgeable about Pearl Harbor and the city in general. I would recommend him to anyone going on this tour.
Experiencing Pearl Harbor was great! Robert was ok. He was friendly and had a couple of jokes throughout the tour. Tour was ok, he was funny.
Robert was awesome, his energy on this tour was amazing. We learned alot of history from Pearl Harbor and Hawaii from him. There was a rude tourist in the group that kept being sarcastic but Robert was the bigger man and kept his cool. From the moment in to the bus and out the funny jokes and the history made our day amazing. Robert "a hui hou" because we don't believe in the word good bye. Mahalo!
We attended 2 tours with Robert, he is very knowledged! Our family learned so much about the Hawaiian culture and history! He was very helpful, respectful, and overall very entertaining.
Professional staff. Robert was well informed and offered a historical recount of Hawaii with much native pride. Hearing about the indigenous traditions was refreshing.
Superb performance, he’s very energetic and upbeat, 10/10 would ride again, very nice ride and amazing atmosphere to be in
Robert was amazing and was very kind. He also gave us a tour of the city with very personable with his knowledge and stories.
Robert was a great driver/guide! Pearl Harbor this weekend was amazing to visit and see. He knows a lot of his cultures! Great job
Great quick tour overall. Easy transportation but a little early 7am. Robert was a great tour guide, funny and informative. Pearl Harbor access fee included.
The tall guy was amazing. It was the best explain us everything. We love him so much. God bless him. We really appreciate him
Amazing and very moving tour. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Well organized. Timing was great. Driver Michael was very informative and provided great instructions to ensure all understood the directions and times.
Professional tour guide took us to Pearl Harbor and told us about the history of the attack, the islands, the people and spiritualism of Hawaii. Driver kept us informed, entertained, and gave us water and chips.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable, educated, nice, respectful and very spiritual. He provided water and snacks. My family and I really enjoyed this experience with him. Thanks for everything.
The tour guide was great, Rob. He was very knowledgeable and very funny! had a great time with family . Many places to see on this tour
Worth visiting this place. Rich with history and emotions. Visiting memorial site touched my heart deeply. Respect to all the fallen heroes! Please do the museums too! And city tour also was nice!
This tour DOES NOT visit the USS Missouri or the Aviation Museum. Whether it's the Viator app or Nui Tours, someone royally messed up or has questionable business practices. The city part of the tour did not compensate for anything as the Aloha Tower and surrounding businesses have a apparently been closed/boarded up since the COVID shutdown. The only reason any of the other "city" sites are listed is they point them out because you drive by them on the surface streets while driving between Waikiki and Pearl Harbor. The only positive thing I can say, is the "Grand Tour Around Island 16 Locations plus Snorkeling" hosted by Nui tours did meet our expectations, but if you want to have a decent visit of Pearl harbor, just use a ride share app, and purchase entry to the Memorials and Museums directly from Pearl Harbor.
Rob was our tour driver and because he loves what he does he actually became a tour guide also. He shared information about early Hawiaan history and culture. It was a wonderful experience! Pearl Harbor excellent.
The tour was well organised and it was made even better with Rob's energy and enthusiasm! He was super informative providing us the stories behind all the historic information as well!
The tour was well organised and Rob's knowledge and passion was amazing to experience. So great to hear about Hawaiian history from Rob!
