We purchased the Go City pass primarily for the snorkeling excursion and luau, and planned our Oahu itinerary around these activities. Unfortunately, the snorkeling trip was canceled at the last minute, leaving us with very little opportunity to rearrange our plans. We had specifically chosen Ka Moana Luau because its location and timing worked with the scheduled snorkeling excursion, even though Aloha Kai Luau at Sea Life Park was our preferred option. Had we known about the cancellation in advance, we could have planned to attend Aloha Kai instead. Unfortunately, the Ka Moana Luau experience was also very disappointing: there were flies around the food, no shelter while we were eating despite the rain, very short time of food serving, and the food was not even comparable to Foodland. We did use the pass for other attractions, but the snorkeling and luau combination was the main reason we purchased it. Overall, the last-minute cancellation significantly disrupted our itinerary, and the disappointing luau experience further affected our overall experience with Go City.

Located in Honolulu's capitol district, this regal structure and National Historic Landmark was home to the Hawaiian Kingdom's two final monarchs. The palace was built in 1882 by King Kalakaua. It was great because we saved money
Was totally amazing!!! Highly recommend for peeps who want to see all the cool stuff but know where to start! We did the Luau, catamaran, soap tour, snorkel and so much more! The island of Oahu has so many hidden gems to get lost in but this really made them easier to find!!
Amazing! The Go City passes we booked got us to so many awesome places, and it was worth 10x what we paid. Definitely will be using again.
We had good experience with go city tour but worst experience with island beach we had planned we missed the time since we had emergency my mom is diabetic and we had medical emergency in the morning we called and triend to reschedule but they refused to do so we had 3 more days left for our trip and we lost our money
Definitely got our money's worth, and we had a great time with the events we chose! Highly recommend if there are things on the list you want to do.
We bought the 2 days Go City Pass while staying at Disney's Aulani Resort in Oahu and we had an awesome time and saved lots of money off the regular admission fees! We decided on the 2 day pass because it came with a Luau that we did at Sea Life Park. For Day 1 we chose Pearl Harbor, Bishop Museum, Waikiki Snorkel, Sea Life Park, and the Luau. We spent more time at Pearl Harbor than I expected but it was good. Then we only had about an hour at Bishop Museum, but we were really impressed by this. The snorkel was prob the worst thing on the entire tour but it was a nice boat ride and we saw 2 turtles. It was just way too many people on the tour (35) and we were bumping into each other all the time. Plus visibility was extremely poor -- they said it was due to the big waves, so not that they can control that but if they limited the snorkeling to only 20, it would have been so much better. Sea Life Park was a mini Sea World and had some nice exhibits, esp feeding the parrot fish. Then we had the Luau here. The location of this alone was magnificent and the food and activities were outstanding. The performance was good, just smaller and not quite as good as another one we did, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our 2nd day was even better with a SUP Turtle Guide (highly recommend, JC was so great!), Waimea Valley Waterfall (don't miss this -- truly beautiful), Polynesian Cultural Center (wish we had more time, could spend a full day here) and Makini Sunset Catamaran Sail (this was perfect and came with free drinks so we imbibed!). Yes, we were very busy for these 2 days, but I felt we definitely got our money's worth and saw places we may not have gone on our own. The only downside was we couldn't fully enjoy any of the places because I wanted to make sure we saw as many as possible. So consider this a Highlights tour -- just get to see a bunch of places for a little bit. Go City allowed us to do that. Also, these passes are best for anyone who has a rental car and is comfortable driving around and regulating your time. Several activities I had to book in advance (SUP, Snorkel, Sunset Sail, Luau).
I will always look for Go City passes when traveling. Easy to use, great choices and a great way to pre plan and get a good value! Bought 5 day unlimited passes and enjoyed every experience with the pass. Best part, very easy to use.
The passes were easy to use and there weren’t any problems at any of the attractions we went to. We packed 3 days of activities and got the most out of our passes! The only heads up I would give is you are better off reserving a spot with the Arizona at Reservation. Gov to ensure you get a spot. The pass didn’t say you needed a reservation and I guess technically you don’t, but it’s not guaranteed you’ll get on. I was given a heads up by a friend prior to our trip. They release the tickets like 3 months in advance. There is a $1 per person charge for the reservation.
Getting the Go City pass was a recommendation from a friend who frequently visits Oahu, honestly, it was by far the best suggestion ever made. Definitely worth it for all that you get along with it.
This package is good if you set up their many activities.
The tours are just kinds of looking-around. The dinner quality (Luau at Aloha Tower) is not good.
Many $ saved with all the activities.
Many options to stay busy. Very affordable
Great times for 8 people on a budget! My 4th time using the pass and it didn't disappoint. Family tried things that they normally wouldn't have because I made reservations and they had to! We had the best vacation ever!
Such an easy and economical way to explore Oahu.
Horrible customer service. Cannot get a hold of anyone. Had issues with one of the activities reserved following their directions and refused to help me. Customer services is close to non-existent for them, so be aware as they are horrible dealing with unique issues or problems.
I've gotten these before litterally last year. Alot of the thongs I was able to do last year they wanted full price in advance money from my bank which would have been over a thousand dollars and said I would get reimbursed later after the event. Also earthing had a hidden fee. The luau acted like we were bottom feeders because we had go city. I didn't get money's worth at all. The times dont work out anymore than to do more than one thing a day. I felt ripped off.the waterpark was 20 to park in had to buy expensive arm bands after entry cause most of the rides are not included in the 70 dollar admission for non residents. 3 of the slides that did come with admission were closed.
Paid for 3 passes over $500 but confirmation never came. Tried to contact them on website but they keep asking for order details. My credit card is charged but didn’t get any order details or number. Tried to go to the address on their website which is a hotel and at the lobby the hotel owner has never heard of them and was angry they are using fake address. It is impossible to reach them and get service - STAY away!
Not worth it. If your hoped for attraction is closed for any reason, they wont help you at all. They just said well go see something else then. Except the WHOLE REASON I upgraded to this pass was to go to THIS attraction.
Definitely get your bangs for your bucks, the luau itself would almost cover for it! So many options of what to do find what you like, use the planning tool to help you make better routes to do what you want to explore!
A reasonable amount of varied activities, however you are limited if you don’t have your own transport as a lot of the activities are 20+ miles from Waikiki which adds 2 hours each way travel on public transport or $30USD for travel costs. In addition be aware of hidden costs eg the moped hire says $6.50 to upgrade to a full day but when redeemed they say the pass only covers $33.50 towards hireage and then you need to add insurance etc so the actual cost was $47 extra pp, but this also gave you 24 hour hireage.
The Go City pass was an economical way to do the things we already wanted to do and then some. The AI planning too was so helpful too. I used its itinerary for most of my planing with a few small changes here and there.
Loved the saving part. The experience was amazing and easy to redeem the passes. no hustle at all. I got the two days passes and it was worth it.
We bought this for our family of 3. It was on sale before the holidays and we did a 5 day pass for whatever we wanted. The total for that for 3 people was $900. We did the Polynesian Cultural Center, Sea Life Park with Luau, Pearl Harbor and all the sites there (they are all separate prices), and Byuda Temple. All of the sites were excellent and we are happy we went. I do believe we saved money doing this. We were going to use it for Diamond Head, too, but we didn't end up doing that. All in all, I would recommend this to save money. We bought in advance and didn't have all that cost while we were there.
Value for sure! Saved hundreds of dollars. The attraction/event should provide which trolley information as navigation to some of the Island is difficult! Could not see it all but gave it a try. I purchased this package through American Airlines shopping program for 12 miles per dollar spent towards my mileage. I haven't seen the miles credit yet.
Make sure to use the map and plan spots close together , we did everything we want in 3 packed days and left 4 days of slower pace exploring.
We had a large family and saved heaps buying the gocity passes and did lots of activities and loved them all. Highly recommend. Easy to book and use passes
All tours activities were great and booking went smoothly, very happy with this service , will use in future vacations , thanks
We had fun doing things that we may have missed otherwise. Good value but it would be better if more had transportation. Many were on the north shore so missed those experiences due to costs and timing of no rental car. The ones that included transportation were great. We did use the bus once we learned the system to help off set cost. I would try again during whale watching season if we ever go back. Aloha
I planned everything from Australia including any upgrades and everything went smooth. My experience was remarkably excellent and I will return because of the pass.
This was by far the best value for our stay in Oahu. The all-inclusive pass practically pays for itself after just two excursions. We were able to experience so much more in two days than we ever could have without it.
Fantastic value for the $. Take advantage of multiple activities for one price. I especially liked Pearl Harbour
Seriously a waste of time and money. The tours were all mediocre to BAD and the luau was the worst I have ever attended. The main tour postponed so we lost a day as it was too late to book anything else. DO NOT BOOK THIS PASS.
If you are heading to Oahu this is the estthing I can tell you to get. There are so many activities you can do. It's easy to use. Never had any problem with any of the places we went. This pass is so worth it. The thing I regret is that I did not get it for more than a 2 day pass. You will save so much money with this. It is no joke. You will not regret buying this pass. Everything in Hawaii is pricey so with this your admissions into the things is included some you have to get a ride to we just used Uber or Lyft, some events have transportation included but at a cost it was cheaper to Uber or Lyft. This pass pays for itself after I e day of things to do. Cannot suggest enough to buy it. We will buy it again when we come back.
Never ever buy the Go City Pass – worst customer service ever. I purchased the 5-day All-Inclusive Go City Pass and booked the Diamond Head Shuttle Tour through it. However, on the morning of the tour, my kids were sick and very tired, so I tried calling the tour company to cancel, but no one answered. Just before the tour was scheduled to start, I finally received a call from someone. I explained to him that we wouldn't be able to join the tour because my kids were sick. He didn't say anything helpful—just said "goodbye" and hung up. Later that afternoon, I checked my credit card and found I was charged an additional $150. That’s completely ridiculous—I didn’t receive any service, and I had already paid for the tour through the Go City Pass. This extra charge made no sense. I tried disputing the charge with the tour company and also contacted Go City customer service. But they were no help at all—just kept saying they couldn't fix the problem. I asked to speak with a manager, and they said someone would call me back. It’s now been four days, and I’ve already left Oahu, but still no call. So take my advice—never buy the Go City Pass. If you don’t want to be scammed, stay away from it.
It definitely saves you money, we did things we normally wouldn’t. The only issue was with the last tour we did,it says it includes the Dole plantation but it doesn’t specify there is no time to do any of the activities, so me and my husband had to drive back the next day.
This was a great way to try many things in the area. We did bike rentals, hikes, yoga, pearl harbor, PCC, Fishing, Soap Factory, paddleboarding, catamaran, luau & SUP yoga
Great way to save money . We bought 7 day passes and they were used everyday for activities. Family enjoyed all but the North shore fishing with Ashton. I would advise to pick another way to achieve a enjoyable fishing experience.
The Go City pass was great and we were able to go to and see so many things that we either would opt not to because of price or would go but pay a whole lot more than we did. There were many options for everyone depending on your interests. I would suggest updating the website and app, some things had wrong times or 2 different durations or descriptions that weren't quite accurate. A lot of planning beforehand had to go into it because many activities need reservations. Also, the charging if you don't cancel 24 to 48 hours before or get charged wasn't really fair - we had sick people that couldn't attend and we also had a tour and another activity cancel on us about 18 hours before.
The views were incredible. A must to see! Don’t miss out on this chance to see these wonderful places. You will have a great time and many memories of these amazing moments together with your friends or loved one as I did with my wife.
This pass was truly amazing , it helped us navigate through our trip and would highly recommend for anyone traveling but not knowing where or what to do .
The go city pass was so easy to book for our trip to Oahu. There was a great range of things to book and we definitely saved lots, even when we paid to upgrade some things. The only negative was some of the things had to be booked over the phone, this was difficult for us due to having to call international numbers and the time difference, this was more down to the individual tour companies than go city themselves. Although some of the companies were flexible with this once I got in touch!
Saved over $500 for the 2 of us!! Will be my go-to from now on! Used our 3 day pass at beginning of our trip and jammed everything we possibly could covered by the pass!
Everything with go city was great our passes work everywhere. We were extremely disappointed when the captain of our catamaran trip canceled last minute on us. They said it was because of bad weather, but we sat out on the beach in perfect weather and watched the sunset and it was beautiful.
I personally love Go City and have used it multiple times in different cities—it never disappoints! For our trip to Oahu, we got the 4-day All-Inclusive Pass, and it was such a great decision. With a bit of planning, it truly helped us make the most of our trip and saved us money. We were able to do so many incredible activities, including Pearl Harbor, an island circle tour, whale watching, Waimea Valley, Kualoa Ranch and more. It covered a wide variety of experiences, and everything was easy to book and use. If you’re a planner and want to experience as much as possible while staying within budget, I highly recommend Go City. It really added so much value to our vacation!
We bought the 4-day Go City O'ahu pass. Everything was easy to use and book. All the tour companies that use Go city were excellent. We did a lot of extra activities that we wouldn't have done, if it wasn't for the pass. We saved over $300USD each. We would 100% buy again!
Worth it!!!! We could have use it more, but we save more than 3 times the 5 days pass cost. For people who like to pan in advance and do multiple activities.
Beautiful weather and well maintained attractions. Every where we ate the food and service was excellent. The only disappointment was the glass bottom boat tour. We were expecting a mostly glass bottom and instead we were crowding around 2 windows in the bottom of the boat. The bus service is good so you don’t have to drive or Uber unless you’re going outside the resort area or don’t want to wait for the bus.
There's many things from their culture that you can try out and you can talk to the workers about themselves or the history of the islands. The performance was also amazing, you can't look away. They also bring people on stage to dance and you can take pictures with afterwards.
