Fun And Creative Maui Photos

This was our first time to do a professional photo session. Our photographer was Sarah. She was friendly, nice and put us right at ease. We arrived at our location for a sunset session. It was a bit crowded due to couples getting married on both sides of us. But overall we had a good time ! Hopefully our pics come out nice.

We had the best experience with Maui Professional Photography, and especially with our photographer, Shizen! He was so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. His direction and coaching with posing were so helpful, and he kept the whole experience fun and relaxed. He did an amazing job capturing our wedding day in Maui, and we are absolutely in love with our photos. Looking through them brings us right back to the day, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We’re so grateful to Shizen for capturing these memories so beautifully!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with a beach vowel renewal. We were clueless on what to look for in a photographer 4K miles away. We picked Maui Professional Photography and the photos are amazing - better then expected.

This was a great experience. Starting with the great customer service. Frank responded to me after I contacted him after business hours on a Wednesday evening. I was frantic b/c the one thing I wanted to make sure we did was to take family photos at Sunset on the beach and he only day we had available was Sunday to get it done. Frank got back to me immediately and scheduled our photo Session. Ian the photographer was AMAZING, the pictures were Organic and came out Beautifully . We even had time for a wardrobe change. He was able to capture great photos of my daughter who can be very challenging when it comes to pictures. Many thanks to the family that let us barrow their Puka beads (they left before we could return them). Thank you for the gift ☺️. This was a great overall experience and I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for a great affordable photography session.

Shizen was wonderful!! He took us to several great photo drops and took the lead as far as poses, which I appreciate. He showed us some sneaks but I can't wait to see the final photos!

Frank was great. Communication from the beginning was quick and prompt. I had lot of questions and frank answered each of them patiently. On the day of shoot, he was really great. All pics are awesome. He really delivered then within a week which is great too. Also, he is really affordable. Overall a great experience. Definitely recommend this guy.

I don't want to hurt the business, so I will rate it 5 stars, but my wife and I didn't end up going through with the booking. Judging by the pictures, I'm sure it would have been a great shoot, but after we booked, we received a text that said the 200$ was just a deposit toward the total fee. Receiving downloadable pictures from the shoot would be an additional $250. I don't mind the money, other photographers on Tripadvisor are the same, if not more, but the process felt deceptive, and it kinda soured it for us. Figured it might be helpful for others to be aware.

Very professional! We got a great photographer who knew the area and beach. It wasn't crowded and we got a lot of pictures without any people in the background. The photos were beautiful and we had an amazing time!! It definitely made our trip!

We booked our photography session with Maui professional photography in advance. . Our photographer Frank, was extremely pleasant, professional and pictures came out really good. Now we have great memories of our family on our favorite vacation on Maui. We will definitely hire them again. Highly recommend!

We booked our wedding on Wailea Beach via HawaiiWedding.com. We added the photography package and they retained the services of Maui Professional Photography. Overall, we were happy with the photographer. The pictures turned out well. However, I am particularly annoyed with the nickel and diming that took place with this company. Our package included 40 photos. After the ceremony, we were sent a link to a webpage with over 230 photos and told that we had to pick just 40 of them to keep. Or we could have all 230+ for another $200. Another option was that we could pay $10 for each additional photo over 40 that we wanted to keep. We found 42 photos in total that we wanted to keep. Therefore, we had to send him another $20 to get all 42 photos. This really annoyed me given the fact that I had already tipped this guy $50 after the shoot finished. Had I known this shady business was going to take place, I would not have tipped him. Anyway, after I sent him the $20 he replied and said he was going to give me all 230+ photos any way. I suspect this is what he does for everyone. If you don't opt to pay the $200, you get all of the photos any way since it literally costs him $0 dollars to give them to you. He already took the photos, why not give them all to you from the beginning?

Maui Professional Photography was just that, professional. We got Maui'd (married in Maui) last week and, as part of our wedding package, were allowed to choose 40 photos out of the over 200 that were taken. We loved so many of them and couldn't narrow it down so ended up just ordering the entire package, worth it! The photos were high quality, our photographer Shizen had excellent vision and was quick yet thorough. We attempted to live-stream our wedding on our own with a GoPro / tripod and 6-minutes in the connection was lost, but our wedding was not. Shizen saved the day by recognizing the lost connection on our GoPro and initiating recording, without us skipping a beat during the ceremony. This was above-and-beyond customer service. We highly recommend Maui Professional Photography!!
