I received a free admission when I checked in at the Royal Kona Resort in Kailua-Kona, so I took advantage of that. I was very happy with the experience; the cinematography was excellent. The admission fee was $35/adult which I think is a little excessive for a 15-20 minute "flight", but if you receive a free admission as I did, I highly recommend it.

Flight of Aloha is a beautiful experience with the kindest hosts. We booked the double feature and are so glad we did. The first portion was so beautiful of some of the most lovely places around the Islands. The second portion featured some of the before and after scenes of Lahaina. We have been to Lahaina and it breaks our hearts to see the destruction from the fire. Flight of Aloha gives some of their procedes to support the residends of the town. It truly felt like we were with family.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us. To see the wonderful videography was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Best part of the experience was the hostess. She was wonderful!! The show itself was lacking. First of all, it is in a hotel. I assume they rent the space. The picture resolution was not as good as it should have been for the large curved screen. Motion was choppy with the picture stuttering slightly every second or 2. Scenery was good but overall effect was mediocre.

It was okay, but honestly, I wasn’t very impressed. The scenery and visual effects were nice, but nothing particularly breathtaking or memorable. It felt similar to a typical 3D experience

It was nice but the images were 1080p images instead of 4k. The video stitching could be smoother

We visited Kailua-Kona with our Norwegian cruise. The theater was very near the pier landing which was very convenient for us. The reception was very cordial and all details were explained making it very easy for us to adapt. The films themselves (we saw two) were stunning and combined with the special effects seats provided for a trilling adventure. We loved the experience and highly recommend it for others.

We had a wonderful time. In just half-an-hour, we soared between mountain peaks, followed a stampede, rode on mountain bikes, passed over para-sails and wind surfers, and flew through the tunnel of a cresting wave. We felt like we were flying, and the spray we experienced enhanced this.

It was an amazing experience.

I had a complementary single ticket and Iam glad I did not fall in the trap to buy tickets for the family. This was a video of a Hawaii on a seat that moves a little and from time to spray some water or air on you. The video did nor seem to fully feature famous spots of Hawaii such as the canyon or the Napali coast. The quality of the video was not that great. I could see some vertical stripes of light and the image looked wavy. The whole thing was barely 30 minutes total of which maybe 10-15 minutes of the actual flight. Anyways maybe I wouldn’t be so picky if the price tag was something more approachable. The idea of a family of four to spend $150 on this is absolutely ridiculous. Sure the helicopter experience is pricer but that does not justify that $150 for a 10 minute video.

Great immersive view from above of all of Hawaiian beautiful topography. Would recommend in lieu of a plane ride.

It was really cool and I learned a lot about the Hawaii cloture and the views it showed was just so pretty and when we went over trees/bushes it tickles your feet and when you go over like water it mist you and it was really just a amazing experience that you will not regret doing and a truly beautiful experience I can’t fly over Hawaii in real life and you this is the best and closest I can get and I LOVEDDDD ITTT.

Too short for $40 a person but it was fabulous what was there. The introduction was horrible why have someone dressed up like and old man and old woman talking stupidly. I found that offending!

Our family had an absolute blast together doing the Naupaka story version of the tour. It was perfect for us because my husband is terrified of going up in helicopters and my kids had never done a virtual reality ride before, and all ages were laughing and having a great time. We loved the different steps throughout the experience, starting with the blacklight room, the background about the Naupaka legend in the prep theatre, then getting to move to a third location for the actual helicopter "ride" was fun and kept us moving. We didn't expect to actually get sprayed with the mist during the video so that cracked us up and the kids kept begging to go again and again throughout our time in Kona. Very unique and well run activity option for families of all ages! Our guide, Mary, was such a delight as well. Super professional, polite, organized and she did a wonderful job making us feel special and welcome throughout the entire experience with a bounce in her step. Highly recommend!

This tour was round trip from Kona.Ten hours total. Lots of great stops. We learned alot about the Big Island.

What a great experience. We were greeted by Nailea who was so sweet and friendly and we felt like Ohana immediately. We booked the double feature, and were immediately greeted by Hannah who had such wonderful energy it was contagious. Both features were compelling and we were especially grateful to see Lahaina. This was a great experience and well worth the cost. Come take a flight!!!

Really enjoyed this. It’s a great indoor activity—perfect way to spend about an hour, especially if you want something different from the usual beach routine. It was fun and engaging, but also genuinely interesting and educational without feeling forced. Nailea was fantastic—knowledgeable, welcoming, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience feel relaxed. It’s a little more than a movie, but honestly a much better hour spent. The experience itself is kind of like quasi flying with a great small-scale IMAX feel, which makes it even more unique. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

We had a blast - literally that spray of water surprised me (even though I knew it was coming). Perfect way to beat the high heat of the day! Nailea was an amazing host and treated us with extreme care, kindness and professionalism. Will return when visitors are in town!

This is an unusual experience, you get the experience if being in a helicopter without ever leaving the ground. Some surprises along the way.
