Christine was a very informative guide taking us to historical sites. Instructions for Pearl Harbour tour easy to understand. I’m glad we did the history sites before it got too hot.

Join DanielsHawaii for a memorable half-day tour of Hawaii’s most significant historic sites. Visit Pearl Harbor National Memorial, take a boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial (fcfs), explore two museums, and enjoy 3 hours of self-guided discovery at your own pace.
As part of your visit to Pearl Harbor, you’ll take a short, narrated boat ride across the harbor to the USS Arizona Memorial, operated by the U.S. Navy. The ride offers a powerful perspective—gliding over the very waters where history changed forever on December 7, 1941. Boat tickets distributed on First Come First Serve Basis. Arriving at the memorial, which floats directly above the sunken battleship, is a deeply humbling experience. You’ll see the names of the fallen etched into the white marble wall and may even witness droplets of oil—known as the “black tears of the Arizona”—still rising to the surface. It’s a quiet, moving tribute that leaves a lasting impact on all who visit.

Today, it houses the **Hawaiʻi State Supreme Court** and is home to the **King Kamehameha V Judiciary History Center**, which offers exhibits on Hawaii’s legal history. The building’s iconic facade is famously recognized for the **golden statue of King Kamehameha I** standing proudly in front.

Sierra, was OUTSTNADING and made our day. She went out of her way taking the time to point things out to us along the way. Gave a history lesson on Hawaii and related it back to her family! We couldn't say enough or sing enough praise, thank you. Would absolutely recommend Daniel's Hawaii!!!
Benny was the best. He was knowledgeable and was courteous and respectful. He made sure this tour to Pearl Harbor was memorable. We would definitely book another trip if we go back to Hawaii!
Experience was very informative. Our Tour Guide Cousin Benny Was just like a family member. lol I recommend you book this tour.
We really liked Christine who was our tour guide. She was great. However, I didn’t like being left to walk around Pearl Harbour on our own with just the audio guide. Also, while I know this is outside of the tour operators control, we actually didn’t get to go to the memorial because of the water conditions. Overall, however, I do think that it was a good experience.
Cousin Benny was great. He was entertaining us during the rides to and from Pearl Harbor, and he gave us door to door service from the tour group’s hotels in Waikīkī. He gave us the perfect amount of time to see all the sites at Pearl Harbor. NOTE: I had booked this expecting the advance reservation for USS Arizona to be included, but it was not. However, I was on the 6:30am departure time, and there were very few people at the park by the time we got there because it was so early, so we were easily able to get to the USS Arizona via the standby list. I was on the second boat out for the morning.
This was very easy with the ease of on line booking. The guide picked us up at the sssigned time and gave us a good tour.
Very nice experience, the site is lovely, the tour guy Uncle Ben was wonderful, very knowledgeable, was on time, very kind, gave us a lot of tips to enhance our experience in Honolulu
Guide stayed in the van, we were on our own. Call us and said they didn’t pick up at the Aulani. Said it would take another $500 in cash to pick us up, even though our paid receipt to Viator said pick up at the Aulani.
It was very moving hearing how many men and civilians lost their lives that day. I could almost feel their souls.
Everything was great ! We would highly recommend this tour We would love to do this tour again It was very informative
Cousin Ben gave us a lot of insight how first time tour inside Pearl Harbor plus he took us around downtown Honolulu and we really enjoyed the amazing view…
We didn't have an experience the tour was cancelled and I am seeking a refund of my money. We did our own tour of the Museum.
Never got to take the . The Driver was at the wrong Hotel and they left. Had a 0830 pickup waited at hotel from 0730 to 0900. Received a very rude call from Joy at Daniel’s Hawaii berating me for not being at at the Hotel for pickup. We will a refund for this tour. Thanks
Loved the museums. Heather also took us on a detour to view the punchbowl. It was also cool to see the building in which Hawaii 5-0 was done.
We had a great guide very informative definitely a trip worth going on full of history and information completely different to expected in a very good way
I really enjoyed Pearl harbour and would like to go again and see more of the historic sites. However on the way back it had other stops which we only stopped at some of then and was a bit disappointed.
This was one of our must see stops. There are/were numerous military members of our family and it was one way to pay our respects and appreciate what they have gone through. At the same time, it was educational and tastefully put together.
Very educational and polite wished I had more time there but on tour not enough time to see all & watch out for the birds
This wasn’t like the tour we took in 2018. The tour guide brought us to Pearl Harbor and then we were keft on our own. We had a chance to get on the Memorial which was nice. Tour guide Christine was very Knowledgeable about Hawaiian culture. Van was comfortable with 2 other people bedside my family of four.
We really enjoyed the Arizona memorial. Very solemn atmosphere. Made you be thankful for the men and women who have served and given their lives for our freedom.
Friendly driver and great information provided by Ben, we also drive through some really nice historical places like the palace and a cemetary
We had Daniel’s Tour and “Cuz’N” Benny was our Ohana, guide and historian! Excellent tour of island places that have significant history and some “seldom seen, experienced” places and pastries! We loved every minute of minute!
Pearl Harbor was a great experience and one that was on my list for awhile. It is a somber event but one you should not miss. Christine was our tour guide and guided us through this tour so we could achieve the best experience. She was great. You must recognize that tickets are not in hand but rather you must sign up for tickets through a stand by line. Everyone must do it. Christine got us there early, I signed up for our tickets and got on the boat to the memorial at 815. Following the Pearl Harbor tour we did a tour learning about the King of Hawaii, his wife, and surrounding government buildings. We also made a stop at the Aloha tower. Not much there, but it was early.
A must see! Monumental sacrifice of so many brave soldiers is brought to life in such a respectful manner. Would encourage young and old alike to pay homage
Benny was fabulous! He took great care of us and gave us great little tips! Highly recommend taking this tour! You’ll have a fun time!
It could not have been a worse vendor selected for services than Daniel’s Hawai’i! Paid for an early 6:30 AM tour which was unilaterally moved to a 10:30 am start time. Waited outside the hotel until after 11:30 but they were a no show. Tried calling but their offices are closed from 11:00 Am - 1:30 PM when you would need to talk to somebody. They don’t respond and want to keep the money paid even after I had to buy last minute tickets myself. SCAM - stay away!!!!!!!!!!!
This is NOT a tour and NOT early access! We were to get picked up at 6:30 but it changed to 8:30. We were told the Arizona tickets were included, but sneakily they say "included in the price" because the tickets are free. But they are NOT included or provided. I had to wait in line for TWO HOURS to get on the Arizona and the tour was only 3 hours. Most of the things at Pearl Harbor have paid access which, again, is NOT included and we were told NOT to go to Ford Island! There was NO tour, we were dropped off to fend for ourselves and even given the wrong advice about which line to stand in to get Arizona tickets. Viator and the tour operator should be ashamed for offering this scam of a tour!!!
Meaningful experience. Time there could be at least one hr shorter. Going early was beneficial as wait lines were shorter.
This was a somber and memorable site. After checking with several tour companies and the government online site and the park itself, we found that tickets are almost impossible to secure online. Tour companies use “bots” to snatch the tickets the second they become available and released. We stood in the standby line and it took about 2 hours to get on the boat. Well worth it overall.
The tickets were not confirmed boat tickets to the USS Arizona. We still had to wait in line for standby tickets to get to the memorial. Not sure why we even paid for this. What we did get was a ride from our hotel to Pearl Harbor.
Total sham. Booked 6:30 with memorial tickets. Received last minute change to 10:30 with a caveat that there are no guaranteed tickets. STAY AWAY.
Our tour originally was booked for 6:30am so we then had the rest of the day for our other plans. We received a text to say pickup changed to 10:30am. We waited over 1.5 hours to be collected from outside our hotel with our calls to this tour going unanswered. When the driver arrived no apology at first. Arrived at Pearl Harbour given brief instructions & told how to register for the shuttle to visit this very special grave site. We were told to be back at bus by 3:30pm & if not back in time we would be left behind. We waited for the whole 3 hours for our number to come up for shuttle & then stressed about missing our ride back. The tour itself was good & happy to have been but would not use this company again as we felt “ripped off” & poor communication- I Would not recommend.
Hard to rate as the local provider change initial timings by 5 hours. When questioned about a refund for tours conflicts, was met with policy excuses and finally was denied. So much for paying my respects to the fallen.
The city tour, at least on a Sunday, means you only see the outside of the Palace. I don’t know whether that is true other days. There is a lot of walking at Pearl Harbor. One of the other passengers got brochures and gave them to a few of us. I would have liked Ben to do that. There’s a lot to see at Pearl Harbor and, again, a better “lay of the land” would have been appreciated. The only real direction we were given was for the boat ride over to the USS Arizona. Other passengers may have done more research than we did. I suggest that you familiarize yourself with the park prior to going. Ben was very polite and helpful, especially to those passengers in need of assistance. He is why I gave it five stars.
Listed things included on the tour: Transportation but driver was 1 hour late. Ticket to ride the boat to the USS Arizona Memorial was included in price but there was no confirmed ticket and it stated a pre-ordered ticket that would be secure. You have to sign up for STANDBY tickets and you do it yourself at the entrance which was FREE. NO Audio Guide. We dd NOT stop at the Iolani Palace nor did we go to the Queen Liliuokanalani Statue. We did NOT get cold water. The Local guide was pathetic with little information and only pointed at 3 things while driving. IT WAS STRICTLY TRANSPORTATION THAT YOU CAN GET CHEAPER.
Christine was our tour guide and driver and was very knowledgeable about the history of Pearl Harbour. Very professional, and the downtown Waikiki walking tour was good.
It was a wonderful tour. You don't need to get the ticket prior to going. Tour company will get you there early enough to sign up for a ticket.
So much to see and absorb. We had a good amount of time on this tour. Our guide Sierra was especially helpful and gave a good history of the islands a Hawaiian people
Everyone should do a tour of Pearl Harbor. This company gave us a good trip . Ben helped us with the sign in to the ferry and we were on our way to the the Arizona in less than 20 minutes. The museums are so well organized. Movies and videos excellent to learn about this day in our history We learned so much.
Ben was a great tour guide! We island hopped for the day to see Pearl Harbor, but it was a bonus to be able to see some city sights. We got on one of the first boats to the memorial and had plenty of time to see the artifacts and films after. Ben took us to see the city sights after and it was great learning about the Hawaiian culture. Awesome small group tour with plenty of time to see Pearl Harbor and some city sights!
Don’t skip the submarine tour. It was impressive. The Arizona Memorial was sad and nearly overwhelming.
The tour was cancelled by the tour operator because they didn’t have enough people. Very disappointing since they told us late in the day one day before scheduled tour. So unable to schedule with someone else.
This is a glorified shuttle service. Pickup. Drop off. Take home. Not much value add aside from providing tickets. Low review because the driver went on a 10 minute rant about his frustration with Asian customers. He was frustrated because someone provided an incorrect location. On a positive note the memorial was beautiful, touching, and very educational.
Cousin Benny was absolutely the best! Will be using this tour company next time I travel to Hawaii! Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
Staff was great! Sierra shared all kinds of interesting information and was great about communicating with us! We booked the day before the tour and it was well worth it!
We'd like to thank you Christine for this amazing tour. She was a great guide and very helpful. She explained very well the history of Honolulu. We've learned a lot about the island's history. The trip to Pearl Harbor was impressive and very well organized. We enjoyed the trip a lot. Thank you and see you soon again, Claudia & Peter
I was contacted by Daniels Hawaii in advance informing me that I had to pay an additional $25.00 to be picked up at our hotel, Best Western Plaza or meet somewhere else to be picked up without additional charges. When I booked through Viator, our hotel was included as a free pickup location. Unfortunately Daniels said no and I paid the additional charge because we didn’t to forfeit the tour. I would like Viator to refund me the $25 as our hotel was included as a pickup location when the reservation was made with you. I feel this was a misrepresentation of my total cost. Miscommunication between Viator and Daniels cost me an additional $25.00! ☹️ Please contact me at (716) 471-1233 to obtain my credit card information to issue a refund.
What a moving experience. I never expected the memorial to have such a reaction in me. Our driver was fabulous.
Great experience and the right amount of time at Pearl Harbor. Uncle Benny was a wonderful guide and day much better!
